Maya threw her towel over her shoulder as she sifted through her dance bag. The rest of the dancers left the studio not too long ago leaving Maya and Josh by themselves, the former working through the last of the choreography for the show and the latter working out the last of the paperwork that had to do with the streaming rights. "Hey babe I'm going to go meet up with Riley. We're supposed to be going shopping. See you later?"

Maya turned over her shoulder as Josh walked towards her and kissed her lips. "Okay. Have fun and be safe. I love you. I have a few more things I need to wrap up here and then I'm going to head home."

Maya nodded slowly. "Okay, I love you too. I'll see you later."

With his attention turned back towards his laptop, Josh continued to type away, relieved that he finally had a moment alone. "Let's hope this works," he mumbled. He picked up his phone and pressed a few buttons before holding it up to his ear. "Hey it's me. We need to talk."

.:.

"Yeah Riles I'm just down the street. I have to park and then I'll meet you inside."

Maya turned her wheel and parked in the lot and turned off the engine. Looking around, she silently celebrated as she noticed that no one around seemed to know it was her. She threw hair up and slipped on her sunglasses and hopped out the car. As she walked down the street she took her time and walked with a slow pace but soon came to a stop as an eerie feeling waved over her. She turned over her shoulder to see nothing but people walking. Shaking her head, "Come on Maya get a grip."

Pulling her bag closer to her body, Maya continued to walk further down the street, slipping through the crowds of people but accidentally bumping into one. "Oh my! I am so sorry," she apologized.

The stranger caught themselves by gently grabbing onto her arm to stabilize themselves before letting go and carrying on. "Don't worry about it!"

Maya shook her head, chastising herself for not paying attention until she walked in to the store and saw Riley waiting by the entrance. "Sorry that took me so long but I'm here now and ready to shop. Have you found anything good yet?"

Riley, who's brown hair was pulled up, slipped her phone into her pocket and looked around. "I took a quick glance but I wanted to wait for you. Come on, I've been needing some new dresses."

Two hours and about five hundred dresses later, at least that's what it felt like to Maya, Riley was set on a five new dresses. Maya was slumped over in a chair when she saw Riley round the corner with more dresses in hand. Seeing the stack in her hand, she groaned. "Riley I love you but I don't think I can sit here for another half hour and watch you try on dresses. I'm going to lose my mind."

A wicked smile graced Riley's face. "Oh no these aren't for me. These are for you. Stand up." Riley shoved the dresses in Maya's hand and pushed her into the dressing room. "Take these and go!"

Maya looked down at the stack of dresses in her hand and sighed. Leave it to Riley to make sure she would leave the shop with a dress in her hand. She hung the dresses up on the hooks in the room and looked at the few Riley gave her. Pinks, Blues, and even a red dress hung in front of her. She was drawn to the red dress immediately. Running her hands over the fabric, Maya gasped as she felt how soft it was. "Oh my god," she whispered under her breath.

Maya took it down and quickly slipped it on, zipping herself in with ease. Looking into the mirror, her breath stilled as she was in awe of how the dress made her look. Hell- how it made her feel. "Wow." She reached up and took her hair out of it's ponytail, allowing her long, thick hair to drape over her shoulders. The dress accentuated her body, highlighting its subtle curves.

"Maya! Hurry up! I wanna see what you have on!" Riley paused. "Maya I-" Riley stopped as soon as Maya walked out of the dressing room. "Maya this looks amazing on you. You have to buy this one."

"You think so?"

Riley stood and placed her hands on her hips. "Oh I know so. Josh is going to love this one. Now you have four more to try on and I'm hungry so let's get a move on. Shall we?"

.:.

The aroma of pizza filled the room as Riley, Maya, and Josh stuffed their faces. "This was an excellent choice Uncle Josh."

Josh smiled and shrugged. "I try. I'm good for something, you know?"

Maya rolled her eyes and pushed his shoulder playfully. "You're good for a lot of things baby."

"Thank you." Josh leaned over and pecked Maya's lips. "So how was shopping today? Did you guys have fun?"

Riley nodded as she finished chewing. "Tons. And we even picked up a few things. Maya will definitely be showing you some later," she laughed.

Maya blushed and hid her face in her hands as Josh's eyes widened. "Riley! You and I still have to have some sort of boundaries you know!" He turned towards Maya and gave her a pleading look. "Please tell me you don't talk to her about our sex life?"

Maya laughed and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't ask questions that you don't want the answer to." Josh set his head on the table and groaned as the best friends laughed at his misery. "Speaking of days," Maya continued on, changing the subject. "How was the rest of your day?"

Josh slowly picked up his head. "It was good actually. Nothing too crazy. Just wrapped up some more work and headed home."

Maya frowned slightly, noting that something was up, but chose to ignore it since Riley was there at that moment. "Sounds like a good, non eventful day." Silence fell over them as Maya started to clean up. "Although shopping was fun, it was long and I am tired. So i'm going to clean up and head on up."

Riley shook her head and stood up. "No don't worry. I've got this. You two should go on up. It's the least I can do since I dragged Maya around all afternoon and let you find out that I know how you are in bed Josh." She smirked as she said that last part. Neither budged. "I'm serious! Now go before I start repeating all of Maya's gory details."

In a fit of laughter, Maya and Josh made it upstairs to their room. As Josh closed the door Maya stopped her laughing to defend herself. "Wait. Now before you get made at me, you should know that I do not provide in depth details to Riley! They're just surface level details!"

Maya squealed as Josh picked her up over his shoulder, tossing her on the bed. "You're hilarious," he said as he rolled his blue eyes. "Anyways, I wanted to let you know that I called Topanga after you left today."

Maya stopped laughing and frowned. "Riley's mom? Why didn't you say that at the table earlier?"

Josh sighed as he shrugged off his t-shirt. "I didn't want to bring any of this up in front of Riley, but I had Topanga look into a few things for me. You know about how our address got leaked and stuff. I mainly had her looking to see if she could find out where Andrew was. We didn't keep tabs on him after we left Atlanta so I wasn't sure if he was still in New York. I figured he would be since he moved his whole life there after our wedding."

Maya scooted to the end of the bed, eager. "And?"

"She's still looking. Hopefully she has an answer for me tomorrow morning."

Maya stood up and took a deep breath as she walked over to her drawers and pulled out her pajamas. "Okay, at least that'll give us some answers." She slipped on her oversized t-shirt and brushed her hair for a moment. "Hey Josh."

Josh turned over his bare shoulder and looked over at her. "Yeah?"

Maya gripped the brush tight and set it down. "Thank you for listening to me and trusting me when I told you I thought Andrew leaked our address."

"Of course I would. You're my wife Maya. I'd trust you with my life." He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "And you might really be on to something. Because if it was him and we can prove it, then we can press charges or something. Make sure he can't get close to us in any way again."

"Yeah." Maya sighed as Josh rubbed her back in small circles.

"He didn't try and reach out to you again after you cut him off back in Atlanta, did he?" Josh tensed up at the thought of Andrew's hands around Maya. It made him grimace and shudder in the most unpleasant of ways.

Maya shook her head. "No. It's not like he'd be able to anyways. I blocked him on everything after I texted him telling him that everything was off."

Josh nodded. "Good. We'll figure all of this out. I promise."

Maya pecked his lips. "I love you."

"I love you too."

.:.

"Josh we start filming in less than two weeks! I'm not making anymore changes to the choreography. we'll adjust once we're on the soundstage but everything is set. I don't have the bandwidth to think of anything else right now."

Maya could feel her stress head ache coming on. Josh could see the strain on her face and sighed. "I know honey but the network-"

"Fuck what the network says! They're not the ones putting on this show. We are! And if they have anything else to say about the choreography they can shove it right up their own asses!" Maya walked off in the opposite direction, trying to gather some air to help her head.

Josh ran his fingers through his hair and started to type away on his laptop, emailing back the network executives that were causing his latest headaches. He knew that putting on a show of this magnitude would be rough but he didn't think it would be this tedious. As he typed and typed he watched the sun shine brightly into the house. Riley left a few days ago, she needed to get back to her normal routine. It was nice having her there, although it did interrupt his sex life greatly, Josh did miss his niece.

That's the hard part about being on the opposite coast. Everyone wasn't a few blocks away anymore. As Josh hit send on his latest email, he found himself going through his inbox and watched as a new email popped in. Stopping in his tracks, Josh quickly read over the email and ran outside towards Maya. "Maya! Maya!"

Maya looked up at him out of the corner of her eye and groaned. "Use your inside voice please! This stress migraine will be the literal death of me if it doesn't go away in a matter of two seconds. And I'm done talking about the choreography for today. I-"

"This isn't about the show Maya." Maya perked up and stared up at him. "I got an email from Topanga. Andrew never returned to New York. She's trying to figure out where he was last seen but no one can find him. She has no idea where he is."

Maya stood. "What do you mean no one has seen him? Did he not leave Atlanta?"

"I have no idea. We don't know if he left Atlanta or went to New York or went to fucking Timbuktu. The point is, he's been off the radar. And I'd be lying if I said that doesn't freak me out at all."

Maya shook her head, wincing as she did it too hard. "So what do we do?"

Josh shrugged. "I don't think there's anything we can do. Unless we figure out some other way to prove that he leaked our address. But I'm not sure how we'd do that." Concern washed over Maya's face. "Look, I'll talk to Topanga and see what she says. We'll figure this out. I won't break my promise okay?"
