"This way."

Sarada's small palms held the hands of Sasuke and Sakura. The girl led - dragged, actually - her parents to a spot at the top of the hill she had spotted before the festival, in order to separate from the rest as well as see the fireworks better.

"Sarada, easy, honey, we'll make it there in time." assured her mother, who cast secret glances at her dad.

Sasuke smiled softly, absorbed by the sight of his wife and daughter. They reached the top at the perfect moment. Fireworks flashed in the sky, illuminating the starry night.

"Wow." Sarada stared upward, admiring the colors exploding right before her large eyes.

Through too much interest in the fireworks, Sarada didn't notice that Sasuke had stolen a kiss from Sakura, embracing her around the waist and admiring the brilliant green irises that gazed alternately at him and their daughter.
