Sakura and Sasuke, after finishing their meeting with the akatsuki, returned to their hideout.
Ever since, two years ago, they left Konoha and joined this organization, they had fallen into such a routine - a meeting, a mission, an evening spent together.
Never before had Sakura imagined that she would be the 'bad' one. And here she was, that's how things turned out. But she didn't regret it. After all, she could have been next to Sasuke.
"How do you feel about the fact that tomorrow we will have to catch Naruto, thus sending him to the death?" asked Sasuke.
Sakura felt pain in her heart. However, she adopted an indifferent face.
"Let's stop thinking about what was and what will be. We must start living in the moment, Sasuke-kun."
She moved closer to the boy, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"If you insist."
Sasuke brought their lips closer together.
