Sasuke didn't expect the pregnancy to be so hard.
And after all, he wasn't the one carrying the baby.
Sakura lay on one side, only to twist onto the other after a while. Her belly was already large enough that Sasuke couldn't embrace her whole.
"I've had enough." Sakura said angrily.
His wife looked like she was about to blow something in the process.
"Do you need anything?"
"Yes, water." she said groggily, but after a moment she made a sadder face, as if she regretted the tone in which she had spoken her earlier words. Of course, Sasuke didn't mind; he'd grown accustomed to it over these past eight months "If you could, Sasuke-kun."
Although he was very tired, it was three o'clock in the morning and his feet were sore, Sasuke got out of bed and went to the kitchen in their rented room to attend to Sakura's needs. When he returned to the room, Sakura was sitting on the bed with her hand placed on the back. Sasuke handed her a glass and pushed her hair away from the sweaty forehead. He kissed Sakura there gently.
After emptying the liquid, she put the cup back in its place. Sakura lay down, but again began to wriggle and arch her back.
Sasuke put his pillow under her. Sakura breathed a sigh of relief. He was left without anything under his head, but this was not a problem for Sasuke, as he could help his wife.
"You can have your head right here."
Sakura picked up Sasuke and placed him on her chest. That way he could hear Sakura's heartbeat and the movements of their baby.
The pregnancy was difficult, but also beautiful.
