"You should try this, Sasuke-kun."
Sakura handed him the onigiri she had made herself earlier. Sasuke, sitting by a lit campfire in the middle of the forest, happily accepted the meal. After several hours of traveling, he was very hungry.
"Hn, good." he muttered under the breath, then looked at Sakura
"Do you have any with tomatoes?" she laughed.
"Of course."
Having unwrapped the ball, she handed it to Sasuke. The fish was still frying. Sakura stared into the fire.
"You know what, Sasuke-kun," she turned her head to the right and sent the boys the most adorable smile she could,
"I would choose you in any lifetime." Sasuke's heart beat harder. "I've already chosen you." he said calmly, taking another bite.
Sakura caught her lower lip with the teeth to keep from smiling too much. Sasuke could be romantic even when that wasn't his intention.
"Well Sasuke, your previous incarnation could have chosen anyone. And he probably had many options."
"But only you were the right one."
How she loved this man.
Sakura kissed Sasuke on the cheek and was glad that they already had a bed prepared.
