Team seven walked quietly through the crowd of people.
They had completed their missions and now had some time to themselves in the village they were visiting for the first time.
And so it happened that they ended up at a festival.
People were plentiful, there were food and jewelry stalls all around, and music came to their ears from every direction.
Sakura smiled broadly at the sight of the beautifully dressed men and women, Naruto approached each food stand, and Sasuke walked ahead with his hands in the pockets.
Kaskashi had obviously disappeared somewhere in the crowd.
"Maybe you'd like something-" Sakura quieted down when she saw the couples dancing.
They were all twisting around their axes, creating a perfect view.
"What did you want to say, Sakura?" Sasuke stared at her penetratingly as she, with eyes shining with joy, looked at the people.
"We should dance."
Sakura didn't give Sasuke a moment's thought, but pulled him into the middle. Sasuke became a little tense. He was not used to such circumstances.
"Okay, I have to put my hands here." she said to herself.
Sakura didn't know how to dance.
"Here." Sasuke grabbed her hand and put it around his neck.
Embracing Sakura, he moved slowly.
"Where did you learn to dance?" she asked shocked.
"When I was younger my... mother taught me."
Sakura quieted down after his answer and let herself be led. Sasuke spun her around once to the right, once to the left. He took steps forward, backward, sideways, and Sakura stepped as he did. Forgetting where he was, Sasuke allowed himself to smile when he saw how happy Sakura was.
"Wow." she said quietly.
The music was beginning to quiet down, leading up to the climax. Sasuke spun Sakura around three times, grabbed her under the back and leaned her back. Their faces were separated by millimeters. People started clapping, bringing them back to reality. Sasuke had already assumed a serious expression and straightened up, along with Sakura.
"You even did pretty well," he commented only, trying to sound as unruffled as possible.
"That was great!" Sakura didn't even pay attention. Running up and slipping her hand under Sasuke's elbow, they moved on.
