Fuyuki City (2 hours after Caster is summoned)
Kirei Kotomine stood on the edge of a cliff, watching the night skyline of Fuyuki City. At night, the city lights were quite a sight, but while most would take a minute to look at the horizon, Kirei didn't feel like it. He continued to look at the city even as he spoke.
"The time has come, Assassin."
A figure appeared behind him, sitting on one of the tree's branches. "Finally."
"You know what to do. You must infiltrate Tohsaka Manor and—"
"Destroy Tokiomi dude, yeah, yeah. To be honest, I hate this plan." The Assassin intervened and donned the cloak and mask prepared for him. Even if he wasn't one of Hassan-i-Sabah, he still needed to give out less information about his Servant. Then he became invisible.
Kirei paused, then sighed. His Assassin was being too childish. He followed orders, yes, but he was also very careless. To the point where he used his own powers to sneak from the church to the movie theater without caring if the regular people or the Masters and Servants noticed his actions.
Assassin quickly flew through the trees towards the manor, moving like the ghost he was. He then reappeared in front of the Tohsaka Bounded Field and stuck his intangible finger into it. Nothing happened.
"These fields are useless." He then turned invisible and passed through them without triggering an alarm.
Finally, he reached the center where the ornament was located, literally passing the last line of obstacles. Inside, another red ruby, more complex than the others, pulsed with energy.
"Now, come to your daddy." He spoke with glee. Suddenly, a spear appeared out of nowhere and pierced the jewel and his right arm, holding him in place. Oddly enough, his hand began to bleed something green. "HAAAAH! It hurts!"
"You disgusting ghost. How dare you come here?" came a proud and haughty voice. The assassin looked around quickly, looking for the source.
"ABOUT! Come on, dude! At least talk before you attack." He then began to look up, seeing a glimmer of golden light at the top of the manor.
"You dare to look at me and speak? Know your place, mongrel!" Assassin caught a glimpse of a man in golden armor, surrounded by what appeared to be golden lights, before the lights rained down on him with a torrent of weapons.
"YGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He screamed as the weapon collided with him.
I hate this plan...
The sword went through his mask and face.
The rain of weapons continued to bombard the yard for a few more seconds, then the man in golden armor, Archer, stopped and looked at the disembowelled corpse of the Assassin. His entire body was practically torn to shreds by the whirlpool of weapons, and his face was mutilated beyond recognition. His body was bleeding green from all sides.
"You are not worthy to look at me." Archer continued, looking at the body. "A dirty ghost like you should turn to face the ground, crawl on his stomach... and die." So saying, he dispersed the lights surrounding himself, and the weapons that had been fired disappeared in a flash of golden light, returning to wherever they had been summoned from. Then Archer himself disappeared, and the familiars sent by the other Masters, who had hidden everywhere, quickly left to tell about the events they had witnessed here.
However, no one stayed long enough to see Assassin's body disappear, but even if they did, they wouldn't see anything out of the ordinary when he disappeared. After all, Servants dissolve into energy when they die, so it's not worth looking at.
Inside the Mansion (at the same time)
Tokiomi looked out onto the courtyard and smiled. "Well, that was a great success." Even if Assassin hadn't been the Servant he had been expecting, the original plan for him to fake his death against Archer had worked perfectly. Now that the other Masters believed him to be gone, Assassin was free to spy on the other Servants and learn of their abilities. Tokiomi felt presence of his Servant near. He turned to see his Servant, who had his back to the wall with his arms crossed.
"You have made me concern with such a trifling matter. They waste my precious time and treasures, Tokiomi."
Tokiomi looked up slightly at that. "...Was Modern World to your liking?"
"It's incorrigibly ugly. But despite that, there are some desirable things. The only important thing is whether or not there is a worthy treasure here." He then turned his eyes at Tokiomi. "If it contains not a single thing worthy of my favor, the it is a serious crime to summon me in vain and send me on a fool's verand, Tokiomi."
"Don't worry. The Holy Grail should certainly be to the liking of yhe King of Heroes." Archer to this respond turned away.
"I will have to decide at a-new. However... that is fine. All the treasures in this World belong to me. I won't simply allow this mongrels to struggle for it without my permission."
Tokiomi sood from his chair and bowed. "Please excuse me, you who are King of all Kings. Tonight's events were a herald of what is in store for us from now on, and will save us from wasting precious time. Thus now that we have demonstrated the authority of the King of Heroes, there will soon be stray dogs coming in vainto bite."
Archer looked with his eyes only at him for a second. "Very well. For the time being, it seems being I can still a-lliviate my boredoom by walking around. This time peeiod is interesting, for some reasons. Though..." He turned his head a little." I do have a question. Why did you let mongrel and it's Servant enter, Tokiomi?"
This made Tokiomi a nervous.
"I made contact with them." Kariya approached him with a smile. "Offering them all of Matou's knowledge and Mystic Codes was enough to convince them to adopt her. But only after the end of the Holy Grail War."
"I'll send Sakura to Aoi and Rin. She will be safe there during this War." Tokiomi really felt relieved. But… "What are you going to do now, Kariya? You got what you wanted. You have no reason to fight in the Holy Grail War."
Said man turned to him. "That's true. But I'm still going."
Tokiomi was confused. "Kariya, look at you. You're almost dead. I say you'll live for a month at best. You need to go to the Church and hand over your Servant. At least you'll die in safety and comfort."
"Month?" Hearing this, Kariya chuckled. "That's very generous of you, Tokiomi. I entered this war fully aware that my life was over. The reason I am going to continue is because I am indebted to my Servant."
"You want to continue because of your Servant?" Tokiomi was again confused.
"I want." He chuckled again. "Plus, if I win, I can bring my body back to a state before the worms got in." The accent with which he said this clearly shows that he does not believe it.
"You know we will become enemies if you continue." It was not a question. This is a simple axiom of the Holy Grail War.
"My Servant is not interested in giving up. Me too".
"Then we are enemies." Tokiomi said this with some disappointment. If there was one thing he knew about Kariya, it was that he didn't give up so easily.
"We are." This is acknowledged by Kariya himself. Then he got up. "Then I will go. Sakura needs to get her things ready."
Tokiomi pulled himself up too. "I'll bring a car to take her to Aoi and Rin. The Holy Grail War will begin soon."
A few minutes later, he and Sakura were standing at the front door. Tokiomi looks at her with pain in his heart. She, noticing this, lowered her head. "Sakura". At these words, she turned her eyes to him, at the same time empty, but full of hope. This look was hard to bear. "I... You will meet your mother and sister soon." Hearing this, her face did not change. But Tokiomi realized that what he said touched her to the core. How not to notice when her eyes began to cry?
"T-t-Tha..."
"Don't. The one you should be thanking is not me." Then he met Kariya's eyes. Sakura noticed this and turned to her uncle. Said uncle sat down on one knee and put his hand on her head, smiling as widely as he could.
"I promised, didn't…" Kariya's sentence was cut off as she hugged him. Then she began to cry. She cried from a lot of things. From the pain I've been through. From relief that it's all over. From the hope that she will see her family. And from the promise that her uncle gave her. She almost screamed, "Thank you!" Even when her words were almost unrecognizable. Even when her throat couldn't last longer she didn't stop thanking him.
"Hush hush." Kariya said this while stroking her head. "Release it all." She cried for 10 minutes. It was the worst 10 minutes for Tokiomi. When she calmed down, Kariya stood up. "Now let's go, Sakura. We need to get your things ready." She was still crying, but she obeyed. When they behind the gates, Tokiyomi gave them a look of relief and pain.
"Thank you, Kariya."
Now
"It was a matter between Tohsaka and Matou family. As a head of Tohsaka and your underling I couldn't let them just go away."
Archer gave him a look for a second and closed his eyes.
"Very well then. Whatever dog you choose i will hope it is enough to amuse you." With a golden spaks Archer dissolved into golden dust. "Tokiomi, I will leave details to you."
Tokiomi was silent for a moment. "...Well, then" His Servant used Independend Action. It's fine that even when disconnected from his Master's Mana supply, he is capable of degree of autonomous movement, but when Tokiomi is cut off from Archer, he has no idea where or what he is doing day and night. "...Well, fine. Things are presently going according to plan."
Mackenzie Residence (at the same time)
"Assassin was... killed?" Waver Velvet, who watched an attack at Tohasaka Manor through his familiar, was almost out of words. It is only first night and Servant is already dead. "Hey Rider, there's been a development someone has already dropped out."
"Oh?" A man lying on a floor, eating cheeps and watching TV said that with bored tone. Waver was irratated. Even thought his prana is large when his Servant is materialized, he was like thisall day doing nothing.
"Hey, do you understand?! Assassin was killed! The Holy Grail War has already begun!"
"Ohh?" Rider barely even considered listening to his Master's words.
"...Hey." Now boy's eye was twitching. Before he could say something Rider gave him quick glance.
"Hey, what do you call someone who is like an Assassin? They are rats whose only value is lurking and hiding. thus he is not my enemy." He then pointed at the TV's screen. "More importantly, boy, this thing is what's amazing." Waver takes a look at military plain he was pointing. "See? This wide black thing called B2 or something. It's wonderful. I'd like to purchase just 10 of these, somehow."
Just imagening the cost of one of these made Waver gloom. "Surely it'd be faster to buy country with that money..."
Rider, hearing that, changed his pose from lying to sitting. "I see, so the problem is our supply funds. If there's a city somewhere as wealthy as Persepolis, we can quickly pillage it." Hearing that, Waver felt as if someone pinched his stomach.
By the time we obtain Holy Grail I may have stomach ucler.
Rider, not seeind and there by not caring, continued watching TV. "Anyway, for now, this Clinton is our most pressing adversary. It seems like he will bea more formidaadable enemy then even King Darius."
Waver already started thinking in positive the moment his Servant said 'Clinton'. It is lucky that Assassin was defeated first. Saber, Archer and Lancer are Knight Classes, so they will probaly fight openly. Beraerker's only skill is just rampaging. Should be enough to get a hold of victory. The biggest problem will be Caster—
"So how was Assassin defeated?"
"Huh?"
"You know, the Servant who defeated him. You saw him right?"
"I think... it was probably Tohsaka's Servant. I'm not sure if it was his figure or the attack, but it was very bright and—" Waver stopped himself. There was something that was strange. "Rider. Is Servant's blood color is green?"
"Hm?" Rider turned to him and gave him a look that says that he said something stupid.
"It's just that I couldn't see much but when Assassin's was pierced to shreads his blood was green and glowed."
"Hm, maybe this green blood is part of Assassin's legend. It could have even been his Noble Phantasm. And didn't I asked you about Tohsaka's Servant?"
"Well, honestly I didn't see much. Everything was too bright and flashy and he did everything in a second..."
Rider suddenly flicked him. "That's critical fool." Waver was rolling so he got no time for bickering. Flick from a Heroic Spirit is not something to take easely. "If I'm going to fight, I'd prefer to win and survive to the next round. You need to observe them closely." He then waited when wlhis Master stopped rolling. "Anyway, wasn't there anything that bothered ayou about that brightness?"
"I am not sure what you mean..." He said that while throbing his forehead. After all what could he has seen in that split second? But how could there be so many weapons, falling like a dounpour of rain? "...Hey, Rider. Servants normally have only one Noble Phantasm?"
"As a general rule, yes. However there are also some Heroic Spitits who were able to gather two or three. I, Iskandar, have also done so."
Oh, right... Didn't he say something like that?
Iskandar suddenly pointed his finger. "Well, percieving Noble Phantasms is meaningless. A Noble Phantasm is a materialization of stories and traditions pertaining to that Heroic Spirit. It could be a weapon, or a unique ability. There have also been cases where it was a mean of attacking."
"...Then, is there a Noble Phantasm that flings ten, twenty, or more weapons?"
This made him curius. "Sword that splits that breaks apart into countless pieces? Hm, it's possible. That ability would fit in the definition of single Noble Phantasm." This answer didn't answer Waver's question.
They didn't break apart. They were separate weapons from the start. So was all of that a single Noble Phantasm after—?
His train of thouts were harshly stopped by the mighty slap on Waver's back.
"URGH!"
"Well, that's okay!" Rider, not carring much about his Master health, smiled with all his teeth. "We can learn the identity of our enemies when we have an audience with them."
Waver, trying to stand, responded. "I-is that really okay?!"
"It's good! In fact, it'll make my heart pound! Food and sex! Sleep and war! No matter what it is, I'll enjoy them to my heart's cobtent to the very end! That's a key of life!" Everything sentence was said with such high spirit that Waver didn't felt like arguing. Rider then opened a window. "Well, it is about time to seek some fun outside. It's time to head to the front lines, boy. Make preparations."
Hearing about front lines made boy panic. "F-front lines? Where?"
"To wherever seems appropriate."
"Stop joking around!" Suddenly, Iskandar tuned to his master.
"You weren't the only one who was watching Tohsaka Castle. As for Assassin's death, it is already well-known. So all the fellows who had been unable to move under cover od darkness will start to stir. So let's find this guys and hunt them first." Waver had almost nothing to say. As much as he hates to admit it, Rider is right. But...
"We'll find them and hunt them... You say it so easely but—"
"I'am Rider! My legs are superior to other Servants." With a smile he pulled his blade and was going to use his own Noble Phantasm. Waver, still not used to Rider's antics, paniced again.
"Wait, wait, wait! Not here! You'll blow up my house away!"
Fuyuki Church(Later)
Kirei stood in front of the Christian church, facing his father. "My Servant is gone. I have lost my rights as a Master and cannot continue the Holy Grail War. In accordance with the agreement, I, Kirei Kotomine, ask the Church to shelter and protect me."
"Your request has been accepted. As a judge, I, Risei Kotomine, will guarantee your safety." Risei said to his son and gestured for him to enter. "Enter in peace, my son." Kirei nodded before entering the church. Inside it was a simple church, nothing extravagant or a bit dark, but it served its purpose as a place of worship like any other. Nobody would have suspected anything out of the ordinary.
Moreover, it was this church that was watching the secret war between the magicians.
"Father…" Kirei began as Risei closed the doors, the sound echoed through the empty church. "Is there anyone guarding this church?"
"No. Our safety is guaranteed here." Risei replied with a confident tone. "This place has been declared a neutral sanctuary. The Holy Church will condemn any Master who defies this decree. Besides…" Risei then turned to him with a strange expression. "Your Servant is under the Bazaar."
Kirei mentally cleared up. It seems that Assassin does not take this war seriously. "Is he playing video games again?" Risei Kotomine nodded, and this time Kirei sighed for real. "To be honest with you, Father, I didn't expect to be a Servant's nanny."
"Now." Kotomine's father tried to calm his son down. "Daniel is a Servant, yes. But he is also a teenager. It's no wonder he's acting like a teenager."
"Father, I understand your concern. But he is a Heroic Spirit."
"I know. That's why I'm worried. What danger did the boy face in life to become one of them?
Kirei has nothing to say to that. This question worried him too. To be a Heroic Spirit, one must be an exceptional person who has shaken human history. And Assassin was not just a boy, but from the future, when the chances of becoming one are almost impossible. Kirei dreamed about Assassin's past. He's seen him fight ghosts, save people like a superhero. But, in Kirei's opinion, none of that qualified the Assassinask Heroic Spirit. When he asked Assassin about it, he refused, saying, "I don't want to talk about it." Whatever he faced must have been hard. "He doesn't want to talk about it, father. It's better to wait before he decides to open up."
Kirei's words upset his father a little. "I understand. It's just a shame how sad his eyes are." This intrigued Kirei.
"Sad?"
"I'm old, son. I have met many people. I understand if someone is sad or not." His voice was full of concern. Which is not surprising considering who he is.
"Then I will go." The young priest went into the basement. A minute later, to his surprise, he saw Assassin not playing video games. Instead, he, in his normal human form, simply read manga.
"Oh, Master. Did everything go according to plan?" He asked, as if he didn't know.
"Of course."
"Great." He said sarcastically. "Now I can't leave this place without your orders."
"Don't worry, Assassin. You will have your moment."
"Hopefully this isn't 'creating another clone for it to die'. It's not easy, you know?"
"I don't see any reason for that to be the case."
"Good good. I just hope that action starts soon."
Fuyuki Hyat Hotel (Next day, Morning)
Sola-Ui woke up the same way as she had for the previous two weeks. Wanting to get closer to her fiancé's big, black-and-white, hugging Servant. She quickly cleaned herself up and left the room. She first looked at the place that said "99.9% chance of being there". Kitchen. And she was right. Except he wasn't alone.
"Now pour water and add carrots, capsicum, cauliflower florets, cabbage, corn."
"You don't have to tell me everything, Lancer." Kayneth said this as he cut the said ingredients. To Lancer's surprise, his Master did everything perfectly.
"Hm." The man and the panda heard a cough. When he turned around, Lancer immediately stood behind his Master.
"Oh. Good morning, Sola-Ui." Lord El-Melloi spoke first.
"What are you doing, Kayneth?"
"I am making breakfast". He said it. Plain and simple, like he's done it hundreds of times.
"You making breakfast?"
"He's making breakfast." This time, it was Lancer, carefully and comically bowing his head over his Master.
"Why are you cooking?"
Because I have good news! Now get up at the table and get ready taste cooking El-Melloi!"
20 minutes later
"So, why exactly are you both up so early?" Sola-Ui asked as the three of them sat down at the table. They ate noodles prepared by her fiancé. To her surprise, they were very tasty. She even unconsciously smiled. Seeing this, Kayneth said, 'This is a fairly simple task. After all, it couldn't be more difficult than alchemy.'
Kayneth looked at her. "According to one of my familiars, Assassin was killed last night by Tohsaka Tokiomi's Servant. I decided to make a plan to lure out the other Servants. Tonight, Lancer will stay at the docks and challenge all capable Servants. It will be a great way to gauge the fighting ability of the rest. As for why we got up so early, since the first real battle of the War is about to begin, I... decided to treat you to breakfast. . "
Lancer then spoke up after eating his plate of noodles. "And I decided to teach him. And of course Master El-Melloi was excellent." Hearing this, Master El-Melloi was proud.
Sola-Ui just shook her head at that. "Regardless of that, are you sure you can meet the other Servants, Lancer?"
Lancer smiled. "Don't worry, Madame Archibald. I am the Dragon Warrior! I'm sure I can handle anything the other Servants can throw at me."
Then Kayneth finished his breakfast. "Indeed." However, Lancer was still a tool in his mind. Powerful tool, but nonetheless. However, he couldn't help but feel a little gratitude towards him. "Well, Lancer, get ready. We're heading to the docks to prepare a trap."
Lancer had also finished by this time. "Of course, Master." Saying this, he assumed a spiritual form. Normally, he would have preferred to walk around in a materialized form, but both Kayneth and Sola-Ui noticed that being a panda, he would stand out from the crowd like a sore thumb.
Sola-Ui looked at them both. "Wait." She moved away from the table and returned with a camera. She then gave it to her fiancé. "Take it. Be sure to record everything Lancer does." Kayneth nodded. As much as she clung to Lancer, she understood the situation. "Be careful. Both of you," she told them both.
Kayneth and Lancer in spirit form nodded and left the room.
Docks (Night)
Saber walked down the road that was in between two separate crate stacks with Irisviel behind her. They had sensed the presence of a hostile Servant not long before, and Saber could tell this was an attempt by the Servant to choose the battlefield.
'A wise move,' Saber had to admit. 'At least they made sure it would be away from prying eyes.'
Saber then stopped in her tracks and motioned for Irisviel to do the same. "I know you are here, Servant." Saber said out loud to the otherwise empty docks. "Cease hiding in the shadows like Assassin and face me!"
Footsteps then echoed out from the end of the street, and Saber could not help but gasp at the enemy Servant. "Panda?" Indeed, in front of her was a big, fat panda in pants with a staff in his hand.
I see. This animal is Lancer…
"Hello. I am Lancer." It even talks. "Are you Saber? Or are you Rider? Well, whatever. It's honor to meet you. My Master told me to defeat you. So, no offence."
"You can try Lancer, however…" Saber told Lancer before her suit disappeared in a flash of light and in it's place came her battle dress and armor, Excalibur safely hidden in her technique Invisible Air. "You will find that I am not so easy to defeat, nor will I show you any mercy for being an animal."
Lancer's response was to smile and glee. "Wow! Awesome speach, Saber. You are Saber, right? Judging by how you hold something in your arms, of course." He then readied his own weapon.
The two stared at each other for a moment. Then, without any warning, they lunged.
The Fourth Holy Grail War had begun in earnest.

Personal Skills
Mixed-Blood: Rank EX
Something inhuman is mixed in users blood. This skill comes from an accident where he unknowlinlgy activated the newly-built Ghost Portal from the inside, causing his DNA to become infused with ectoplasm and turning Assassin into a human/ghost hybrid with an array of ghostly powers. Aside from his Spiritual Body, he can freely change between human and ghost forms. As long as Assassin is in human form he can remain in this World without any mana problems.
Powerless Shell: Rank A

Ghost: Rank A
A unique Skill of those whose legend comes from being a ghost. This skill represents Assassin's ghost form. Once transformed, he can use all his ghost powers like: Invisibility, intangebility, flight, possession, etc. At this rank it is even possible to temporary possess other Servants. Even in human form he can still access some of his powers.
Mana Burst (Ecto-Energy): Rank A
Unlike most Mana Burst, this skill is more like extention of Assassin's arm. Assassin can fire green laser-like blasts of ecto-energy from his hands or fingertips, but it can also be fired from seemingly anywhere. Assassin can also create constructs made out of solid ecto-energy in a variety of forms. This constructs advantages is that they can directly absorp mana from opponents attacks.
Cryokinesis: Rank A
The ability to control ice and cold energy. Assassin's central cores generates extreme cold energy, which allows him to manipulate it and create ice and snow. This allows him to shoot rays of intense cold from his hands or eyes, or radiate cold energy all around his body, sending out cold waves, freeze water to solid ice, or generate ice projectiles, like regular or powerful snowballs that can freeze anything/one instantly when it hits them. Assassin can create solid objects out of ice, create ice from thin air, or freeze objects on physical contact. He can combine this skill with other his abilities together for enhancing effects. Assassin also can sense other Servants are near, his central core releases a burst of cold energy/blue mist that comes out of the his mouth or nose. It also allows him to sense the cold energy in others.
Noble Phantasms
Ghostly Wail: A Mourning Scream of Legion of Ghosts: Rank B*
Type: Anti-Army
An extremely powerful vocal attack. Assassin releases a sonic blast comprised of a highly destructive stream of pure ecto-energy from his vocal cords and mouth, accompanied by a sounds like a legion of tortured souls all moaning and groaning at once or simply a distinct ghostly moaning sound.
A common use of this Noble Phantasm is to create sound beams, booms, blasts, or ultrasound waves to attack an enemy omnidirectionally or redirect objects. With it, Assassin can cause massive damage to Servants and humans alike and can destroy solid objects, shattering windows, breaking a normal eardrum, or any kind of technology or beings, send them flying. It is effective against multiple targets or to defeat an army of enemies all at once. It is incredibly powerful and it can also nullify a Servant's regeneration and incapacitate them or even completely destroy the Servants that are too weak to withstand it. Even Servants with high durability cannot withstand it.
This Noble Phantasm also has one trick under its sleeve that not even Assassin is aware of. While using it Assassin, unintentionly, redirects "Winds of Fate", changing by that future that someone with Clairvoyance had seen.
Phantom Planet: Last Act of Ghost Boy: Rank EX
Type: Anti-World/Suicide
Assassin's second Noble Phantasm. It is not a weapon, attack or ability. It Assassin's last act as a hero. By touching a groud, he can turn a whole World intangeble, by that preventing it from getting harmed for whole minute. After performing it, Assassin will die.
Sorry for time between chapters being too long. And for some reason I cannot put plus sign.
