Several months before the Eden Treaty.

"Noa wake up! This is exciting news!"

I felt someone shaking my shoulder in my groggy daze. It was like I was in a dream when I lifted my cloudy head. My best friend, Yuuka, wouldn't stop shaking me which only made my lightheadedness worse. But she shook me for good cause.

"Guess what Noa! Rin called us to meet the new sensei!"

She wouldn't give me the chance to guess in her excited mood. I heard of the news prior to her and was happy myself to get to see a teacher in person. Most of my learning came from educational disks and audiobooks. That's how it was in Kivotos. I often debated to myself whether or not I should continue coming to this classroom.

Yuuka shook me again trying to create a sense of urgency so we're not late meeting Sensei. Tiredly, I got up from my seat and let her drag me by the arm to Sanctum Tower lying in the heart of Kivotos. Since my position in Seminar is that of a secretary, I often got to stand by Rio's side whenever Rin called upon her, and I catalog every word and action said in this very book. I got to see and hear things no student has, therefore in a way, I am a part of the GSC's plan.

The trip to Sanctum Tower from Millennium was long. Yuuka and I had to ride a bus there and it took approximately half an hour. She was so excited that she couldn't sit still in her seat. Thankfully no one paid any mind to us girls.

When we arrived outside at the tower's steps, Rin stood there firm and tall at the top step beside a black haired male who was taller in comparison. I never imagined there were adults taller than Rin. The new sensei, she gestures towards, had a thousand yard stare looking elsewhere rather than paying attention to what Rin said to us. I could tell by following his gaze to the halo circling above all of Kivotos, he's not clueless or aloof. I had the same wonderment as a child when I was born.

"This is ーーーー Sensei. He's a member of Schale and he'll be taking the role of teacher until we can find the GSC president." Rin said to us.

The name is scratched out.

"A sensei for all of the schools?" I said out loud in response. The idea seemed stressful for one man to handle. The weight of the work would crush any ordinary person but Sensei was not ordinary. By his lack of a halo and general demeanor, I could tell he carried himself confidently and strictly. Being in his presence made me jealous that I was only 16.

Rin then said, "You are welcome to assist him, as members of Seminar. I entrust this to you since the other school's headmasters are too busy to fulfill this demanding task."

Yuuka and I nodded together and Sensei descended the steps to formally introduce himself. He shook our dainty hands, then in return we introduced ourselves and bowed.

"A world like this is so fantastic. If you don't mind, please show me around. I want to see what the schools are like to familiarize myself with this world." He said calmly.

This world? He said it as if he was from somewhere else. I don't bring it into question and instead tease him and Yuuka before going around to visit each school's campus. Gehenna, Trinity, Hyakkiyako, he loves it all when we show him. Often he remarked about painting a canvas of the school grounds. I also had an interest in painting but not to the extent he did. The smile on an adult's face is as bright as a flower.

Three months before the Eden Treaty.

I have a suspicion that Sensei knows more than he lets on. We worked a lot together but he always rejected my advances as well as Yuuka's. I can't get a read on his personality ever since he changed. One day he dressed himself as Rio and told us to call him Rio Sensei. Yuuka and I thought he really was Rio until he came to us a week later asking if we liked his disguise. I didn't understand, and I still don't understand adult fetishes.

Yesterday, he called me to join him in traveling outside of the city for a meeting. He wanted to go without Yuuka which was strange but I nodded my head anyway figuring he wanted me to record an exchange of dialogue. At night, we boarded a bus that took us far and then took a train that crossed into a cold desert. Thankfully he packed a scarf for me to wear on our excursion to who knows where. He then explained to me, finally elaborating that there is a school in this wasteland and he is to meet with the school's headmaster to exchange.

Exchange what? I replied in a perplexed manner. He would not say until we arrived at an abandoned outdoor train station. The tracks are submerged in sand and rusted brown. The building's dilapidated and looked as if the wooden frame was going to collapse at any moment. Standing under this shade of the roof, I was scared the debris would fall on me. The person he met with was a pink haired girl shorter than I. She has heterochromatic eyes, one is yellow and the other is an ocean blue. In contrast to the desert ruins, her uniform was clean and spotless however she slouched and spoke lazily.

My Sensei and this girl exchanged words before she hands him a tablet device.

"I no longer have a use for Shittim Chest. Do what you will with it."

My Sensei takes the device but not without much hesitation. "Are you sure? How will we be in contact from here on?"

"We won't be. I'm at ease in this desert without the outside world interfering." The small but wise girl replied.

My Sensei sighed. "Fine I'll be blunt with you. I want your help to enact a plan of mine that, if it doesn't succeed, the world will end..."

The idea is redacted with a black marker. Noa wouldn't do something like that.

What? My eyes widened in anticipation but he never said more than what was. I was left in confusion as he spoke in vague terminology but the girl seemed to understand the meaning behind his sentences. Among the talking I hear 'Alter Code:F' which sounded like a Schale only protocol. After the meeting I spent all night searching through previous records in Millennium to find what he was talking about. My search turned up empty and I was left sleep deprived the next day.

That next day I tried to get Yuuka to help me but she said adult-only matters aren't our concern. I try explaining to her that whatever Sensei was talking about, it threatens the life of Kivotos. Sensei is behaving weird, for better or worse.

One week before the Eden Treaty.

Sensei's been spending less time with us and more time around Trinity and Gehenna. Yuuka and I waited in his office in Schale but often he wouldn't return. On the days he did, he would not spare us any thoughts like he used to. He looked stressed but kept a sinister smirk on at all times. I tried asking him about Alter Code: F a few times in the past and his answer would always change each time, making me look like a fool rather than Yuuka.

To say I'm worried is an understatement. I'm not used to this kind of knowledge weighing on my shoulders, I feel as though I have to do something to learn about Alter Code:F. I tried my best to be friendly towards Sensei hoping he would leak information but he was tight lipped. One day I caught him smoking on a bench beside a big breasted woman with pink hair. I sought to eavesdrop but that woman noticed me like she had eyes on the back of her head, and she beckoned me to come and try a cigar. I'm too young and pure to do degenerate activities but I felt at ease by this woman. When I pressed the ashy surface to my lips I started hacking.

How could adults taste such disgusting material? Both the woman and Sensei laughed at me. My head felt light and my cheeks itched; I never felt so embarrassed before.

"I like this kid. I like when she gets embarrassed. She's a sweet girl underneath that exterior she puts up, just like Hina." The pink haired woman said after chuckling.

"Plenty of fish in the sea, y'know as they say. I'm lucky to have Noa by my side. I'd be pretty lost without her and Yuuka's help." My Sensei's words only embarrass me further. He then hunched forward transitioning into a serious stare when he said, "Listen Noa, bad things are about to come and this next task of mine will be like no other…"

Sensei told me about recent fighting between Trinity and Gehenna, that he wanted to help this lady friend (who I hope isn't his girlfriend) quell the battles in preparation for a treaty to ease conflict.

The following days Sensei stationed Yuuka and I in the city to stop fights that would randomly break out between Gehenna and Trinity students. Both were monstrous in battle and I always had to buy new stockings since mine ripped in battle.

Three weeks into the Eden Treaty, during Saori's defeat.

I stood beside Hifumi as she gave her inspirational speech to fight for her dreams to Arius Squad below us. She raised her finger high declaring, to them with her final line, "Because this is my story! And I'm not going to let anyone get in the way of that!"

"Vain, prospect, dare I say inconsistent. All is hopeless before darkness!" Saori spouted, having lost her calm demeanor under the rain.

The clouds didn't part and rain continued to flood the battlefield's craters. Yuuka and I readied our guns in response to Arius Squad readying theirs. Hifumi tried to plead with us that there was another way to achieve paradise without conflict—that nothing is completely vain and that there was meaning in seemingly meaningless things. Sensei had taught her that.

"What use am I in a story of yours?! That selfishness..!" Saori shouted.

Hifumi jumped down from the ramp to join Azusa's side. She extended an open hand to Arius Squad. "In my story we're friends! If I have to twist reality to make that a reality then I'll stop at nothing until we're together."

During their spiel, I overheard Hanako on the phone. She repeated what was said to her. "Gehenna Sensei's… Dead..?"

Yuuka lowered her guns exclaiming alongside Koharu, "What?!"

"You…" Hanako's arm holding the phone trembled. She let out an enraged shout, "You're the ones responsible for this aren't you?! Satsuki Sensei is dead because of you! Is that what you wanted out of your vanity, hopelessness, destruction—the death of our very caretakers?!"

"What?" Saori appeared visibly shaken by this sudden news that shocked everyone. "I have nothing to do with that sensei's death!"

Misaki furrowed her brows, "What the hell is going on? This wasn't in our plans."

"C-cut the crap! Let's put an end to this!" Saori was clearly struggling to stay firm in her ideals. The rest of her squad however, all looked to each other with indecisive worry. Unfortunately we still had to engage and fight Arius Squad for the sake of the treaty. The entire battle felt like one huge misunderstanding.

So his death occurred during the battle…

One week after the Eden Treaty.

Lately Rio Sensei's been administering emotion dulling drugs on me to clear my mind from the Eden Treaty incident. Along with using me as a test subject for hypnosis, I no longer felt like myself. The battles were brutal but thankfully no one died, I think. It's hard to say since Arius Squad seemingly disappeared afterwards. Sensei reassured me that they went into hiding since Trinity and Gehenna students were equally mad, but I found his words hard to believe since I was being drugged.

Everytime I walked into his office he would give me new material to try. One day he mimicked Satsuki's voice when he said to me, "Noa, hit this."

Again, a cigar, but this one had a putrid smell. Not wanting to embarrass myself again in front of an adult, I tried to smoke without coughing. Instead, I passed out for three hours.

I couldn't bring myself to care either as I found hidden pleasure being lightheaded in his office. Rio enacted so many changes without consulting me or Yuuka and furthermore all of Kivotos shifted. The gamer club was abolished, Shanhaijing was blown up and Trinity closed off to the public, just to name a few events that happened one after another. Hyakkiyako was blamed for Satsuki Sensei's assassination and Rio launched a propaganda campaign against the school. 'TOTAL NINJA DEATH' the posters read.

"I can't believe it! They… They're horrible! Hyakkiyako is truly horrible!" Yuuka shouted with a foot stomp.

"..." I didn't know what to say at the time.

Yuuka and I placed these posters everywhere. We had no choice, else Rio Sensei would do bad things to us. I don't know what that entailed but knowing him and the many secrets he kept close to his chest, I didn't want to know. I wanted to protect Yuuka, she's the only person keeping me grounded in this nightmare.

I still don't know about Alter Code:F. I wonder if I knew about Sensei at all. I read my previous data entries and he seems like an entirely different person than the one I see now.

The rest of the book is Illegible. Amongst the words, it is written that the drugs have made it impossible for her to think straight. Noa then became subservient to Rio until Xavier appeared in the world. Then the records stop there.
