Arya was excited that they were going to tour Meereen. From what she had seen, it was a beautiful city very different from anything Arya had ever known. Missandei led her husband and new daughter to the market; when Arya saw the need, she became excited and almost ran off to explore, but Ned grabbed her arm.

"No, Little Wolf, you cannot explore alone; it's too dangerous."

Arya pouted but continued to walk with her father and new mother. Missandei took Arya to all the stalls so she could see what they sold. Arya was fascinated with the different types of food; she had never seen such a wide variety. Missandei bought Arya some fruit for her to taste, and Arya loved it.

The little family spent several hours wandering the streets of Meereen until a guard found them and presented a note to Missandei. Missandei broke the seal and read the message, "What is it?" Ned asked.

Missandei smiled, "Queen Rhaesa requests a meeting with us. She wants to meet Arya."

Arya swallowed hard; she was a little intimidated about meeting the Queen, even though she had only heard kind things about Queen Rhaesa from Missandei and the children in the market. But Arya was also excited; she hoped to see the dragons up close.

Missandei gave the letter to Ned, "It reads that we are expected for the evening meal." He looked at the sun and realized they still had plenty of time to continue their tour. Ned turned toward the guard, "Please tell her majesty that my family and I would be delighted to dine with her."

The guard bowed and left.

Meanwhile, in the Great Pyramid, Rhaegar discussed with his sisters about Gendry "After talking with the boy, I do not doubt that the boy is Robert's bastard son, Sister," Rhaegar told his sister.

Rhaesa narrowed her eyes, "I think there's more to him than you think, Brother. When you questioned him about his background, didn't he tell you that he vaguely remembered his mother and that she had blonde hair? And didn't Cersei give birth to a son that looked like Robert, who died shortly after his birth?"

Dany's eyes widened, "You don't think she got rid of the baby and passed off another as Robert's dead child?"

Rhaegar rubbed his chin, "I wouldn't put it past her. We all know how much she loathed Robert."

The sisters agreed with their older brother. Dany looked at her sister, "What should we do about him, Rhae? He could challenge us for the Iron Throne."

Rhaesa shook her head, "I doubt that, Dany. He's too humble and has no experience. We can offer Gendry to become Lord of Storm's End, as is his right. He will replace Renly, who I have heard is never there and is a useless Lord," Rhaesa commented.

"What are we going to do about Lord Stark?" Dany asked.

"Now that he married our Missandei, Lord Stark is family. We have everything to aid Lord Stark's son and take over the Seven Kingdoms. Perhaps it is time to go. What do you think, Brother?" Rhaesa asked as she looked at her oldest brother.

Rhaegar sighed, "If we are going to do that, I think it is only fair that Lord Stark knows the truth about me," Rhaegar commented.

The sisters looked at each other, then at Ser Barristan, "What do you think, Ser Barristan?"

Ser Barristan pondered the question, then looked at his Queen, "Eddard Stark is an honorable man. He is the only one who tries to get justice for Princess Elia and the babes. If he swears to remain silent until the time is right, he can be trusted."

Rhaesa thought momentarily, then looked at her brother, "It is entirely up to you, Brother if you want Lord Stark to know the truth. Though, I think you should tell him everything that happened; including your resurrection," Rhaesa told her older brother.

Rhaegar nodded, "I think I should tell him. It is unwise to have secrets between allies, especially if his son is marrying Dany."

Rhaesa and Dany looked at each other and agreed with Rhaegar. They decided to tell Lord Stark that night at dinner. It was going to be an interesting dinner.

While the royals discussed their plan, Missandei took Arya to visit the dragons. She knew that the dragons wouldn't do anything to her family, and it was better for them to get used to Arya. Ned protested at first, but Missandei assured him that the dragons wouldn't harm Arya.

Arya was vibrating with excitement and a little bit of fear. She never thought she would see a dragon, let alone six. Arya smiled brightly at her new mother and tightly held Missandei's hand. Missandei smiled down at her new daughter and then looked at Ned, who had a slight scowl, but he knew how much this meant to his daughter and wife, so he went along with it.

The trio entered a large garden that was off-limits to everyone except the royal family and Missandei. The garden was where the dragons liked to sun themselves or meet with their family. Their nests were located on the pyramid where the females felt safe to lay their eggs when the time came. For now, the dragons were too young and too small to reproduce.

The minute the little family entered the Dragons' territory, the dragons were on full alert. Six heads whipped around to stare at the newcomers. A growl emanated from Balerion's chest as the humans came into view. Meanwhile, Missandei, Arya, and Ned paused at the entrance to the Dragons' domain. Arya couldn't help but be frightened of the giant lizards, though she tried not to show it. For his part, Ned stepped in front of his wife and daughter, his hand on Ice. Ned was prepared to die to protect his family.

Balerion stood and stalked toward the humans. He suddenly paused when he saw Missandei step out from behind Ned. He cocked his head as if he was listening to something. Balerion relaxed after Drogon told him the humans with their Missandei were harmless.

Missandei smiled at the enormous dragon and put her hand out. Balerion closed the gap and nudged Missandei's hand with his snout.

"Balerion, I want you to meet my new daughter, Arya. You know my mate, though you have not met yet," Missandei commented.

Balerion's eyes shifted from his Missandei to the other two humans. Balerion understood that it was essential to Missandei that he and the others accept her mate and new hatchling. Balerion lowered his head and inched towards the hatchling.

Missandei smiled and turned to Arya, "Sweetling, this is Balerion, the oldest of his siblings and the biggest," Missandei explained.

She reached for Arya's hand and led her towards Balerion. Arya looked at her mother, and Missandei squeezed her hand, "You have nothing to worry about, Sweetling; Balerion wants to know you. He will allow you to pet him."

"Are you sure?" Arya asked.

Missandei nodded and nudged her towards the dragon. Arya did the same thing to Missandei and held her hand out; slowly, the dragon pushed his snout into Arya's hand. Arya grinned and petted the dragon; Balerion closed his eyes and let out a content rumble.

"He's so warm," Arya said.

"Yes, they are. The closer you move towards their hearts, the hotter they become."

After a while, Balerion opened his eyes and stared at Ned; he looked between Missandei and Ned, and Missandei understood what Balerion wanted.

"My love, Balerion wants to meet you," She informed Ned.

Ned swallowed, then stood next to his daughter. Balerion huffed hot air out of his nose and moved closer to Ned. The Northern Lord smiled when Balerion did the same thing to him that he did with Arya. After that introduction, Balerion looked at his siblings, and the others approached the little family to introduce themselves. Missandei told Ned and Arya the names of each dragon and who was mated to whom.

They spent a few hours with the dragons, letting Arya get to know them. Confidently, Arya decided to get closer to the dragons; Balerion lowered his wing to let Arya climb onto his back. She was disappointed to know that Balerion would not take her flying. Though, he did walk around with her clinging to his back. Ned was alarmed at first, but Missandei assured him that Balerion would be gentle with Arya.

"They understand how fragile humans are, Ned."

"How do you know, my love?"

"Because they are gentle with the Queen's twins. They consider the boys to be their siblings. I know they will not hurt Arya."

Satisfied with Missandei's answer, Ned allowed Arya to play with the dragons until it was time for them to return to the Great Pyramid and get ready to have dinner with the royal family.
