As Cloud, Tifa, Gordon and the rest of the group entered Nibelheim, they found that the entire town was in perfect condition, as if everything that Cloud told the rest about what Sephiorth did to his and Tifa's hometown never happened.

They had all also gone around and asked the town residents (all of whom Cloud and Tifa had never met/seen before) about what had happened. But everyone acted as if the tragedy from five years ago never happened.

Meanwhile, Gordon couldn't shake the voice he heard when they entered Nibelheim. It sounded familiar but at the same time it reminded him of a terrifying experience.

"We're any of you able to find out anything?" Cloud asked everyone, who had all gathered near the water tower in the center of town.

"Nothing." Tifa said, "Everyone here is acting like nothing happened…"

"Could be a Shinra cover up." chimed in Barret.

"Maybe." said Cloud.

"We'll head to the mansion for now and see if we can find any clues there."

Everyone nodded in agreement as they made their way to Shinra mansion at the edge of town.

As they came closer to the entrance, they noticed a figure cloaked in a black cape standing in front of the mansion's gate, and they were hunched down.

"Who could that be?" asked Aerith.

"Stay here, I'll investigate." Cloud said, as he approached the hooded figure.

As Cloud got closer he heard the figure he heard them mumbling something to themselves, he also noticed something tattooed on their arm.

"Re..union…..Seph….iroth." The figure said.

"Must…..go to……reun…..ion."

"What?" Cloud said to himself, cautiously approaching.

"MAG………Heaven……ly Sword…." The figure continued.

Cloud then noticed what was tattooed on his arm:

The number 12.

"Free mon……….th"

"What the hell…" Cloud said, as he backed away from the figure.

As Gordon watched on, the ringing he heard in his ears from earlier came back.

"Gordon…"

The same voice from earlier spoke, although it was slightly clearer than before.

"He….llo.."

Gordon closed his eyes and clenched his head in his left hand.

'Who is this!?' Gordon said in his head.

But before he could get an answer. The ringing in his ears stopped.

"Gordon are you alright?"

Gordon opened his eyes and saw Tifa looking at him, a slightly concerned look in her eyes.

"Uh, yeah I'm fine. Just a slight headache." He replied, as Cloud rejoined the rest.

"Who was that?" Aerith asked.

"I don't know…" Cloud replied.

"Let's just head inside for now."

Everyone silently agreed as they passed the figure and entered the mansion.

As they entered Shinra mansion, they found that the interior looked deserted, as if it hadn't been lived in in years.

"Stay alert." Cloud said, "There's a chance Sephiroth and Benrey could be here."

"Where should we start looking?" Tifa asked.

"Let's head down into the basement. We might find clues there." said Cloud.

Everyone nodded as they followed Cloud up the stairs and into a room which led down to the basement.

As they descended downwards, the ringing in Gordon's ears got louder, and his vision started to become slightly red, and his nostrils began to flare up and his heart was pounding.

Gordon himself was trying his best to hide the fact he was panicking.

'What the fuck is this!? What's going on!?'

However for Gordon, Tifa seemed to be picking up on it.

"Gordon! Is everything alright?" She asked with the same concerned look she had from earlier.

"Y-Yeah I'm fine." Gordon said breathlessly, as they all entered the basement. The ringing had subsided slightly and his vision returned to normal.

Tifa looked on at Gordon with concern, but also with slight suspicion.

She wasn't sure if he was panicking about something else, or if it had something to do with what happened here five years ago…

As the party walked through the basement, they stopped by large metal doorway that had multiple locks and chains on it with a sign that said:

"WARNING! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS TO BE OPENED! KEEP OUT!"

"What the heck is this?" Barret asked.

"No idea, I don't remember this when I was here." Cloud said.

As they talked, the ringing in Gordon's ears grew even louder and his vision became redder, and he felt terrified.

Whatever was behind that door, it wanted him. And it scared him beyond belief.

Keeping his composure as best as he could and fighting every urge to cover both his ears, close his eyes and scream he opened his mouth to say something but then the same voice he heard spoke.

"Hello Gordon.."

'Wait a sec!' Gordon said in his mind, although for him it was hard to think straight.

'Is that C-'

"Wonder what's in there." Yuffie said, snapping Gordon out of his panicked state.

The ringing stopped, his vision became normal again and the voice disappeared.

"I could get it open, those locks seemed pretty poorly done. Almost like they were rushed."

"Let's not." Cloud said, as they all kept moving.

Gordon was taking several small breaths to calm himself down, hoping no one would notice the near panic attack he was having.

"You alright Gordon?" Barret asked.

"I'm alright." Gordon said through the breaths, while Tifa gave him the same look of concern and suspicion.

As they continued on they noticed another door near the mansion's library. This one was wooden and slightly ajar.

Cloud noticed this and signaled for everyone to stop, and also motioned towards the open door.

"Gordon, come with me. The rest of you wait here." Cloud whispered

Gordon nodded as they slowly made their way to the door.

Cloud slowly pushed the door open so as to not make any noise.

Inside the room were several coffins. Four were at each corner of the room while one laid in the center.

Before they could do anything else the center coffin opened suddenly, and out from the coffin rose a male figure.

The male figure was male wore a red cloak with a red headband that wrapped around his head. He also wore a long black shirt with black pants.

"Who are you both?" He asked,

"And what are you doing here? I don't know either of you."

"Were you sleeping in there?" Cloud asked.

"I've been sleeping for a long time." The man replied,

"Now get out, I don't talk to strangers. And you would best leave this place immediately. It contains many secrets and horrors best left unfounded."

"You can say that again." Cloud replied,

"It's because of this place that Sephiroth lost his mind."

"Did you say Sephiroth?" The man asked, fully rising from his coffin.

'Undertaker much?' Gordon said in his mind.

"That's right, do you know him?" Cloud asked.

"You tell me what you know first." The man said.

Cloud then explained how Sephiroth lost his mind, burned down Nibelheim, and had returned after 5 years and was seeking the promised land, along with joining forces with a new ally named Benrey.

"….and that's all we know." wrapped up Cloud, "Now can you tell us what you know?

"I'm sorry, I cannot." The man said, "Now please leave, I need to return to my sleep."

The man then sat back down in his coffin, and grabbed the lip to cover himself back up.

"Wait!" Gordon said, stopping the man.

"What can you tell us about what's behind that metal door?"

The man looked at Gordon, a deadpan look in his eyes.

"What's behind that door is Shinra's deadliest secret." He said in a serious tone,

"That door is to never be opened, not by you or any man."

"But I hear shit from it. A fucking voice and ringing in my ears when I'm near it."

After a few moments, the man replied with:

"Then you're in for a bad time."

He then fully pulled the lid over and sealed himself inside his coffin.

"What do you mean by that?" Gordon said, storming over to the coffin.

"What's behind that door? What does it want from me?!"

Gordon then began banging on the lid of the coffin with his chaingun.

"Fucking answer me!"

Cloud ran over and grabbed Gordon's arm before he could continue.

Gordon and Cloud stared at each other. Gordon had a terrified expression, his breathing was rapid.

"What the fuck do I do Cloud!?" Gordon asked, desperately seeking answers.

"I don't know." Cloud said, trying to keep Gordon calm.

"But right now, we'll head to the library. And after that we'll never come to this place again."

"A-Alright." Gordon said, as Cloud let go of his arm.

They both left the room, an uneasy feeling swelling inside both of them.

As Gordon and Cloud left the room, Tifa noticed Gordon had a look of terror etched on his face.

'What happened in there?' She thought.

"What'd you guys find in there?" Barret asked,

"And Gordon, what's up with you? Everything good?"

Gordon didn't reply, as Cloud gave Barret a look that said "Don't ask."

"There was a room full of coffins inside. Someone was sleeping in one of them." Cloud said.

"Someone was in there?" asked Red XIII.

"Yeah, he didn't really give us any info, but I think-"

Before Cloud could say another word, a noise was heard down the hall where the library was.

Without saying a word everyone quickly rushed over to the library and opened the door.

Inside the library were large bookshelves filled to the brim each row with different sorts of books, most in different shapes and sizes. There were some that were stacked in towers as well.

"They're fuckin up all the time." A familiar voice said further in the library.

The party turned the corner and found who they were looking for:

Sephiroth and Benrey stood there, with Sephiroth holding a green orb in his hand.

"Sephiroth!" Cloud shouted, getting their attention.

Gordon stood beside Cloud, who Benrey locked eyes with.

"Oh it's you again." said Benrey,

"Why can't you understand we've broken up."

"What the hell does that mean?" asked Gordon.

"We're not friends anymore! He's my best friend now!" Benrey shouted, pointing at Sephiroth.

"Why are you friends!?"

"Because I have one of these." Sephiroth said, reaching into one of his pockets.

What Sephiroth pulled from one of his pockets was a black looking wallet that had the Shinra logo on it.

He opened it to reveal a photo of himself inside, along with his name and occupation (SOLDIER 1st Class).

"What the?" Gordon said

"I got mine too." Benrey said, pulling out his passport and opening it.

"Something you never have!"

"Wait, lemme get this straight." Gordon said,

"You're helping out Sephiroth because he has his fucking passport!?"

"Yup, everything checks out, good trusted member of society. And it's not just that." Benrey said, pocketing his passport.

"We got something else planned! Hahahahahaha"

"We're going to participate in the Reunion," said Sephiroth, as he too pocketed his passport.

"From there JENOVA will bring calamity from the skies and bring about our new world."

He then interlocked his arm around Benrey's arm.

"If you wish to know more, follow us beyond Mt. Nibel."

Benrey turned his head to Sephiroth.

"Let's open the door before we leave."

Sephiroth looked at Benrey, a slightly concerned look in his eyes.

"Are you sure? If we wake Him he could come after us in the future."

"Not worried, he won't be able to do shit once we get what we want."

He then looked at Gordon and the rest.

"And if he does his job right they're all gonna be dead soon!"

Sephiroth, after much inner thinking, reluctantly nodded and ascended into the air.

He then threw the green orb he was holding at Gordon's head, which bounced off his forehead and caused Gordon to recoil backwards.

"Ow you fucker!" Gordon shouted in pain, while Benrey laughed.

They then flew past the party and outside of the room.

"After them!" Cloud shouted, as they all ran after the duo (but not before Gordon picked up the green orb and pocketed it).

As they all ran they noticed that Sephiroth and Benrey were nowhere in sight.

"Damn, they move fast!" Barret shouted.

"Just keep going! They couldn't have gotten far!" Tifa said.

As they continued to run, Tommy felt around in his lab coat, and noticed that something was missing.

"Mr. Freeman!" Tommy shouted.

"What Tommy?" Gordon said.

"I don't have my-"

But as they came close to the exit, they noticed the metal door they passed by earlier had all the locks removed. This caused everyone to stop.

"What the heck?" Yuffie said,

"What happened to all the-"

Suddenly the door was flung open, and inside was pitch black, nothing could be seen.

And then, the ringing in Gordon's ears came back and his vision became red. It caused him to break into a cold sweat.

"Fuck not again not again!" Gordon shouted, covering his ears and closing his eyes, and causing everyone to turn their heads to him.

"Gordon?" Aerith said.

"Gordon."

"Gordon are you-"

Suddenly Gordon was yanked inside the room by an invisible force, causing everyone to jump (everyone but Tommy).

"What the hell!?" Yuffie shouted.

"What was that? Was that a ghost!?"

"Whatever it is, it has Gordon, and we gotta save him!" Cloud shouted, pulling out his buster sword.

"Wait!" Cait Sith shouted,

"We don't know what's in there! We can't risk going in."

"I don't care!" Cloud shouted at Cait Sith,

"I'm not leaving anyone behind! Now let's go!"

Everyone ran into the pitch black room as Cait Sith reluctantly followed.

It was completely dark inside.

Gordon couldn't see anything as he frantically looked around, trying to find any source of light. But all he found was the darkness swallowing his vision.

"What the fuck? What the fuck?" Gordon said in a panicked voice.

"Why does all this shit always have to happen to me!?"

He put both his arms behind his back. If this was another getting jumped by soldiers situation he was NOT about to lose another arm.

Suddenly the lights came on and the room was illuminated.

Inside it looked like a large laboratory with several hundred glass pods stationed along the walls along with lab equipment, Gordon also noticed there were several old and faded blood stains on the floor and on the walls, skeletal remains that wore Shinra trooper outfits as well as SOLDIER outfits were laid across the floor as well. And at the end of the room were two metal doors that were shut.

It was hard to see inside the pods but he could see that there was a human figure inside each of them.

"What the hell?" Gordon said, still panicking.

Suddenly an alarm started going if the room began flashing red. The pods broke open and the figures awoke and began to walk out. They all stopped a few feet in front of their pods.

The figures themselves wore outfits similar to Tommy's. Only they all had Einstein looking haircuts and white bushy mustaches.

"D-Dr. Coomer?" Gordon said nervously.

When they all saw Gordon they all drew out combat knives.

"Hello Gordon!"

The Coomer clones all started speed walking towards Gordon with their knives drawn while repeating "Hello Gordon!"

Gordon immediately began opening fire on the clones as they walked towards him. Some of the clones dropped to the ground but for every dead clone that fell another seemingly came to replace it.

"Fuck fuck fuck! Not this shit again!" Gordon shouted, as he cast Thundara on a group of clones which were electrocuted and fell to the ground.

"I've unleashed the power of all 600 clones!" He heard the voice say, only this time it sounded like it was in the room with him.

"We're in a world in which we don't belong, Dr. Freeman! But you! I know there's a way out through your dreams! And I need to go through there!"

Gordon screamed as he continued to shoot at all the clones, only they were getting closer, and they were just a few feet in front of him.

One of them was able to grab Gordon's wrist and had his combat knife raised in his other hand.

"End of the line, Dr. Freeman!"

Gordon once again screamed as he closed his eyes, ready to lose his right arm like he did at Black Mesa.

A swooshing noise could be heard.

'Fuck, it happened again!'

He opened his eyes expecting to take in his now lost right arm, but instead he saw Cloud with his sword swung downwards, slashing the Coomer clone's torso.

Blood shot from the clone's torso as it fell downwards.

Cloud then began swinging at the rest of the clones as they advanced towards Gordon.

Gordon turned around and saw everyone running into the room.

Barret was running in firing off his gun arm.

Tifa engaged with a group of clones along with Red XIII and Yuffie.

Tommy had his Glock out and was firing on another group of clones while Aerith stayed behind him.

Gordon also noticed that Cait Sith was fighting the Coomer clones too, but was oddly close to the door.

"Keep at them!" Cloud shouted, as he cut down clones one by one, Gordon quickly joined in to help.

Tifa, Red XIII, and Yuffie were all engaged against a large group of clones that were all walking toward them menacingly with their combat knives. Tifa, being as strong as she is, was able to knock a bunch of them in the air with her fists and kicks. Red XIII and Yuffie hung back, Red XIII was casting Firga onto the clones while Yuffie was dishing out her kunai on them.

Cait Sith was going against a small group of Coomer clones, but was closer to the door than the rest. Almost like he was ready to run at any time…

Tommy was shooting at them with his Glock (although he wished in this situation he had his full arsenal back) while Aerith stayed behind him and casted Barrier onto him, and healed him when necessary. Tommy was headshotting every clone like he was John Wick and slowly their numbers began to dwindle.

What neither of them noticed was one of them was slowly making its way behind Aerith with its knife drawn and was inches from stabbing her.

Tommy, somehow sensing it, did a full 180 turn with his gun aimed.

"Duck!" He shouted, as Aerith quickly crouched down.

Tommy then squeezed the trigger and put a bullet right in between the clone's eyes. It fell to the ground, lifeless.

"Whew, good save Tommy!" said Aerith, as she got back up.

Tommy didn't respond as he continued firing onto the clones as they advanced.

Barret meanwhile was unloading his chaingun on the clones as they made their way to him. But as a group he shot down, another was quick to take their place, like they were never ending.

'Dammit, is there no end to them!?' He thought.

Then an idea popped into his head.

"Everyone! Find cover!" He shouted.

Everyone quickly got a good distance away from Barret as a red and green aura appeared around him.

Suddenly the ground opened up and a large muscular man emerged. The large man picked up the ground that had a majority of the clones in it. He threw the pieces of the ground with the Coomer clones on it to a nearby wall, the piece of the ground hit the wall with a loud crashing noise, and the Coomer clones hit it with a loud SPLAT, as they're bodies turned into a bloody paste.

The large man then descended back into the ground, which turned back to normal.

After what felt like hours everyone slowly emerged their heads out from where they took cover.

All the clones they fought all laid on the ground, seemingly dead.

"Was that all of them!?" Yuffie shouted, unwilling to come out until she knew for certain all the clones were gone.

"Seems like it." Cloud said, as he and Gordon emerged from their cover.

Everyone else followed suit and came out from behind cover.

"Holy hell that was close!" Cait Sith said, "What were those things anyway?"

"Those were…those were…" Gordon said, exhausted from the encounter.

"That was Dr. Coomer, Mr. Freeman!" Tommy said.

"Huh?" Cloud said, looking at Gordon.

"Isn't he the one you told us about on Rufus' ship?"

"Yes.." Gordon replied.

"What we just fucking fought were his clones. I- I thought we killed them all at Black Mesa but…"

Gordon hung his head and was half hunched down. What he wanted to do right now was lay down and curl up into a ball.

He really didn't want to go through this again.

"Fuck- Fuck!" He shouted.

"What is it?" Cloud asked, walking over to Gordon.

"I don't think this is over." Gordon said, panic starting to rise in him.

"What do you mean?" Cloud replied, an alert tone in his voice.

"Are there more?"

"Yes- no. Fuck I know something else happens. I went through this before but I can't remember what happens-"

"Surprise attack Gordon!"

Gordon and Cloud quickly turned around to see a Coomer clone running full sprint at Gordon with a combat knife while laughing.

Gordon screamed as Cloud got in front of him with his sword drawn.

Only Tifa was able to intercept the clone before he could make it to either of them. She delivered a combo of punches to the clone on its torso and unpercuted it as well. She then delivered a swift but powerful roundhouse kick to the side of its head.

A loud crack could be heard as the clone went flying into a nearby wall hard. So hard that it left a large crater on the wall. It slowly slid to the floor, its head hanging irregularly and it's eyes were glazed over.

"Please tell me it's over!" Gordon shouted, tears beginning to flow down his face as his body was turned in the opposite direction with his ears covered.

"I can't do this anymore! He can't keep getting away with it!"

Tifa exited her battle stance, and eased up and turned to face Cloud and Gordon.

"There." She said, as Gordon turned around to face her, his face wet from crying.

"They're all gone, you don't have to worry anymore Gordon, it's….."

But Tifa's voice became distant. The ringing in his ears was back, along with the red vision.

"GORDON"

He looked over at the clone Tifa killed. It was staring directly at him.

Its eyes were black but there was a small white dot in the middle, it's mouth was also agape.

Gordon slowly walked away from Cloud and made his way to the clone. Tifa was trying to say something to him but he couldn't hear her, he couldn't hear anything else for that matter.

He then stood in front of the clone, which was still staring at him.

"WHEN WE WENT THROUGH TELEPORTATION, I FELT MY BODY BEING TORN APART, ATOM BY ATOM. IT WAS AGONIZING GORDON."

Gordon then crouched down in front of the clone.

"YOU SENT US TO A WORLD WHERE WE DON'T BELONG-"

"SHUT UP!" Gordon shouted, slapping the clone across the face.

"-AND WE HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING BACK."

"SHUT UP! WE'RE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN!"

"BUT I KNOW YOU. THERE'S A WAY OUT THROUGH THE WORLD IN YOUR DREAMS-"

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Gordon grabbed the front of his head

"GET OUT!"

"AND I NEED YOU TO TAKE ME THERE."

Gordon screamed as he grabbed the clone by the throat and began violently beating its head in with his chain gun. Blood, bone, and brain matter flew as Gordon's face became stained with blood as he continued to beat the clone senselessly.

He then felt someone grab and pull his right arm and fought with everything he could to try and get at the clone. He then felt some grab his left arm, and felt himself being pulled away from the clone.

Gordon screamed through gritted teeth and struggled as he was dragged away, but slowly his vision returned to normal as his ears stopped ringing.

"Gordon! Gordon stop!" He heard a voice from his left shout.

He looked over to his left and saw Tifa restraining his left arm. He quickly looked over to his right to see Cloud restraining his right arm.

"It's over Gordon! It's over…"

He then looked over at the dead Coomer clone, the top half of its head was bashed in with the upper half jaw missing, the tongue was sticking out as blood began squirting out.

Gordon stopped struggling and if Cloud and Tifa weren't holding his arms he would've collapsed, but instead he hung there, breathing frantically and sweating profusely.

He then hung his head down, and started to make a noise as if he was crying. Both Tifa and Cloud gave Gordon an uneasy look.

"Gordon?" Tifa asked, anxiousness in her voice.

But when Gordon picked his head back up, instead of crying he was laughing hysterically.

The rest of the party who were a few feet away looked at Gordon with the same uneasy look Cloud and Tifa had, everyone but Tommy.

"Mr. Freeman, did it happen again?" Tommy asked calmly.

"Y-Yes Tommy." Gordon said through his laughter.

"It fucking happened again! The motherfucker did it again!"

As Gordon was laughing, a loud banging noise could be heard through the large metal doors at the end of the room.

Everyone turned to where the noise was emanating from, anxiously getting their weapons ready. Cloud and Tifa meanwhile were still holding Gordon.

"Let- Let me go." Gordon said, his laughter beginning to stop.

Cloud and Tifa looked at each other, and Cloud silently nodded at her as they both released Gordon, who stumbled to stay on his feet.

The trio then turned to where the loud banging noise was coming from, with Gordon walking towards it.

The banging stopped, but the two doors were starting to come ajar slowly, hands could slightly be seen holding each door.

The doors were then flung open, and behind the door was Dr. Coomer, his eyes glowing green and black.

Behind him was a large jar shaped containment pod that was atop of 20 flights of stairs. Tables with lab equipment, papers, and various electronic devices were at the bottom of where the pod was.

Then the same horror and feeling that befell Gordon when he arrived at Nibelheim came upon everyone else, but Tommy seemed unaffected.

A red shadow creeped around the entire room, and turned everything into a dark red color. A loud dark ambiance was also heard. Everyone but Coomer had turned red.

Coomer was also emitting a powerful aura, and a feeling of dread began to rise in everyone.

Slowly they all got their weapons out and were ready to fight, but Gordon kept walking forward.

"Gordon what are you doing!?" Cloud shouted, making haste to stop him.

Gordon held out his arm which caused Cloud to stop, signaling not to come forward.

Gordon was now closer to Coomer than the rest.

"Dr. Coomer." said Gordon, a defeated tone in his voice.

Coomer's head snapped at Gordon, and their eyes interlocked.

"Please, just stop this. I-It's me, Gordon…"

The aura around Coomer got stronger as the room got redder and the ambiance got louder, and the dread everyone was feeling got worse, with Yuffie looking like she was ready to break and scream.

Cait Sith meanwhile was ready to turn tail and run.

But then, all of sudden, the redness in the room disappeared along with the loud ambience and the aura of dread everyone felt seemed to have magically lifted.

The black and green look in Coomers eyes was gone, as he gave Gordon a happy expression.

"Ah, hello Gordon!" Coomer said in his usual cheerful voice whenever he greeted Gordon.

Instead of responding, Gordon fell onto Coomer, his arms hanging over Coomer's shoulders, as if he was trying to hug him.

"Hey Dr. Coomer." Gordon said flatly, as he stumbled backwards off of Coomer.

"Fine work taking out my clones again!" said Coomer, as he walked past Gordon,

"And it was double the amount from last time!"

Gordon followed him but the way he walked made it seem like he had come home from a long and bloody war.

When Coomer noticed Tommy he walked right up to him.

"Hello Tommy!" Coomer said, shaking Tommy's hand.

"Hello Dr. Coomer!" Tommy said, happy to see an old friend again.

Coomer then turned around and saw the rest of the party before him, and reacted as if he saw them for the first time.

Meanwhile they all still had their weapons out, and looked like they were ready to fight.

"Ah Gordon! You didn't tell me we had guests!" Coomer said.

"But they all look like they want to fight, are we fighting them Gordon?"

"No no no no no no no no no no!" Gordon said, as he rushed over to get between Coomer and the others.

"We're not fighting them!" He said,

"Me and Tommy have actually, uh, joined up with them."

"What do you mean by that Gordon?"

Gordon sighed.

"Let me quickly introduce you to everyone." Gordon said, as he pointed at each of them.

"Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Yuffie, Red XIII, Cait Sith, and- hey hold on." Gordon said, noticing the guy he and Cloud spoke with in the coffin was with them.

"Weren't you the guy in the coffin, what are you doing here?"

"Ah! Hello Vincent!" Coomer said.

"Wait." Gordon said, giving Coomer a perplexed look.

"You know him?"

"We're roommates Gordon." Coomer said.

"I wouldn't say that," said Vincent.

"We're both results of experiments that went horribly wrong at Hojo's hands."

Gordon swore he saw Vincent's eyes glow red when he said Hojo's name.

"Shinra experimented on you?" Gordon asked them both.

"Yes, Shinra and Hojo tried to clone me like Black Mesa did, but the clones revolted and wound up killing everyone. They sealed the entrance to this room to try and contain me and them, but now the clones are all dead and my power is returning!" Coomer said.

He then stared Gordon dead in the eyes.

"And I want to murder Hojo."

Gordon knew that tone, that was the tone Coomer had whenever he was in "Kill Mode."

"Don't worry Coomer, I'm sure down the line we'll encounter Hojo." Gordon said.

"If that is the case can I join you all?" Vincent asked,

"If you're all going to cross paths with Hojo then I'll gladly come with you all."

Cloud didn't say anything, he and everyone else were hesitant to speak after what just happened, but Cloud looked at Vincent and nodded, which seemed to be more than enough for him.

"Well I couldn't agree more, let's all kill Hojo together!" Coomer exclaimed,

"And Gordon, forgive me for being a tad bit rude but you should probably clean yourself up!"

"Huh?" Gordon asked, oblivious to his blood stained face.

"Here Gordon-" Coomer said, holding out the side of his lab coat,

"Use this to clean your face!"

"Uh okay." Gordon replied, as he grabbed the part of Coomer's coat he was holding out and wiped his face, leaving a bloody face print on Coomer's lab coat.

"Thanks Coomer."

"Not a problem at all Gordon!"

"H-Hang on a second." Cloud said, finally gaining the ability to speak.

"Why should we let you join after what just happened?"

Coomer gave Cloud a confused, yet innocent look.

"U-Uh," Gordon stammered,

"Hey Coomer how about you and Tommy go and catch up real quick, I need to have a chat with them real quick."

"Sure thing Gordon!" Coomer said,

"Come Tommy, I want to hear what you and Dr. Freeman have been up to!"

"Sure thing!" Tommy said excitedly, as he and Coomer went off to a different part of the room.

Gordon gave a long sigh as he turned to face the rest, who all somewhat eased up as Coomer left them.

"What the hell was that Gordon?" Barret said,

"You can't seriously be considering having him join us! Especially after what he just put us through!"

He then gave Gordon a very concerned look.

"And are you okay?"

"No Barret, I'm pretty fucking far from okay. This isn't the first time he's done this." replied Gordon.

"And yes, I want him to join us. He was with me and Tommy during Black Mesa, and out of all of us he's the strongest."

"But he just tried to kill us!" Yuffie said,

"And what was that? You went completely psycho earlier!" She said, looking at Gordon's chaingun which was dripping with blood.

"I know! I know!" said Gordon.

"I admit I lost my cool back there, and I'm sorry."

'That's an understatement.' said Yuffie in her head.

Gordon took a breath.

"And honestly." He said,

"That man, if you can even call him that, He's some sort of god."

"What?" Barret said, giving Gordon a confused look.

"What do you mean by that?"

"It's what I just said. That's why I think he's our best shot at taking down Sephiroth and Benrey."

"But Gordon," Tifa said,

"Look what he just put you through, he tried to kill you and caused you mentally breakdown. Why would you want him around after that?"

Gordon sighed, he agreed with Tifa on that but that was the least of his worries.

"Being honest Tifa you're right, he's fucked with my mind in the past, but I got over it back then and I'm getting over it now."

He then looked and gestured at Yuffie.

"And besides we had to fight her before we recruited her."

"I didn't try to kill you with an army of clones! I just wanted to steal from you!" Yuffie retorted.

"Alright, fair point." Gordon said, putting his arms up.

"But those were the clones we fought. They're all dead and Coomer is back to normal, more or less."

"How do you know he isn't gonna try something like this again?" asked Red XIII.

"He won't, trust me. And it's like I've said before: don't get on his bad side." Gordon replied.

"And as a matter of fact-"

He turned to where Coomer and Tommy were conversing.

"Coomer!" He shouted, getting his and Tommy's attention.

"We're having a science team meeting! Stay where you are, we'll come to you!"

"Sure thing Gordon!" Coomer replied, as Gordon turned to Cloud.

"Cloud, come with me. You're an honorary member so you're participating."

"O-Okay." Cloud said nervously, as he followed Gordon to where Coomer and Tommy were.

"Hello Gordon!" Coomer said as him and Cloud approached.

"Say Gordon, how come he's here? He's not with the science team."

"Oh uh, me and Tommy came to an agreement to make him an honorary member. Trust me when I say this, he's a hell of an addition."

Coomer turned to face Cloud.

"Well any friend of Gordon's is a friend of mine! Put'er there!"

Coomer enthusiastically put out his hand for a handshake. Cloud stood their anxiously, still somewhat shaken from the previous encounter.

Gordon then gave Cloud a pat on the back (although it was more of a shove) to encourage him to shake Coomer's hand.

Seeing as he had no choice, he extended his hand and grasped Coomer's hand, who grasped back and shook.

Cloud then felt just how strong Coomer was, as they let go.

'What the hell is this guy?' He thought.

"Alright everyone get into a circle and sit." Gordon said, as he, Tommy and Coomer sat down and formed a four way circle, minus Cloud who stood there confused.

"Come, sit, it's meeting time." Gordon said.

Cloud sighed as he sat down and joined them.

"Alright now that we're all here, Coomer, did Tommy catch you up on what's going on?" asked Gordon.

"Indeed he did, Gordon! Benrey has teamed up with Sephiroth and they're planning something nefarious!"

"Yeah that's the basic gist of it." Gordon replied.

"Now I've teamed up with Cloud." He said, as he gestured towards him.

"Because he and his group are on a quest to stop Sephiroth. But now that Benrey is involved we decided to join forces to put a stop to whatever it is they're planning."

"What are they planning exactly Gordon?"

"We still don't know yet." Cloud said,

"What I'm able to piece together is they, or Sephiroth at least, want to go to the Promised Land. What we were also able to find out is they're both after the Black Materia and are gonna participate in something called the Reunion."

"And Sephiroth has his freaking passport." Gordon chimed in,

"Which seems to be a good enough reason for Benrey to join up with him."

"Mr. Freeman that reminds me." Tommy said,

"I lost my passport."

"What?" Gordon said, looking at Tommy.

"What do you mean you 'lost it'?"

"I noticed I didn't have it when we were chasing Sephiroth and Benrey earlier." He replied.

"I don't have my passport either, Gordon." said Coomer.

Gordon looked at Coomer with a surprised expression.

"Wait, you don't have it either? What happened? You guys had them when we were at Black Mesa. I mean I don't have mine with me either but it's in my locker."

"I don't know, I just noticed!" Tommy said.

"I lost my passport 25 years ago when Shinra started experimenting on me." said Coomer.

"Wait what?" Gordon said, as he and Cloud both looked at Coomer.

"25 years? Coomer it hasn't been THAT long."

'25 years?' Cloud thought.

'That's longer than when Tommy said he last saw Gordon. And he's 27…'

Cloud then shook his head. He didn't have time to think about this now. But he'll have to tell Tifa this when they're alone next time.

"Well it feels like 25 years to me Gordon. Time moves differently here, and there's something else I want to bring up."

He then looked at Cloud.

"Good news Cloud! I'm happy to tell you that you have 8 playcoins available for use at any time!"

Both Cloud and Gordon looked at Coomer in confusion.

"I have what?" Cloud asked.

"Wait Coomer, I thought I had playcoins." said Gordon.

"You still do, Gordon! But Cloud has them as well!"

"Okay then, but what are they?"

"Being honest Cloud, I don't know either." said Gordon,

"But I'd use them sparingly, I have no idea what happens when you run out and I'd rather not take that chance."

Cloud looked at Gordon and silently nodded.

"Now, have you seen Bubby at least? Like when was the last time you saw him?"

"I don't know Gordon, time moves differently here." Coomer replied.

Gordon sighed in slight frustration.

"Alright well,"

Gordon then got up.

"If I'm being honest, I'm actually feeling kinda confident right now. We basically have the band back together along with a new member. I have no doubts we'll run into Bubby soon."

The rest followed suit and got up as well.

"So let's get going! We got a planet to save!"

"Hold on a second Gordon!" Coomer said,

"We still need to get the arsenal."

"Huh?"

Coomer then began walking over to where his pod was and gestured for them to follow him.

"Well let's go see what he's talking about." Gordon said, as he, Tommy and Cloud followed Coomer.

"You're all free to come as well!" Coomer shouted at the rest of the party.

Cloud looked at them and nodded, which signaled that it was okay and Coomer was no longer hostile.

They all then reluctantly followed Coomer, with Tifa walking over beside Cloud.

"What did you all talk about?" She asked Cloud.

"Just what we were planning." He replied,

"And Coomer said I have something called playcoins."

"Playcoins?"

"I don't know what they are, Gordon has them too and even he doesn't know." Cloud replied.

"And there's something else I need to talk to you about. Now's not the time though."

Tifa gave Cloud a curious look as they walked on. But she figured whatever it was it was best to hear it when Gordon and the others were not around.

Coomer then went to a nearby wall that was by the stairs that led up to his pod.

"Uh Coomer what're you-"

Coomer revved up his fist and punched a large hole into the wall. When he pulled it out a large black crate came out and Coomer threw it onto the ground.

He then pushed it over and its contents spilled out.

It was guns, a lot of guns. And upon closer inspection Gordon noticed it was the weapons they carried at Black Mesa.

"Holy shit are these all the guns we had at Black Mesa?" Gordon asked.

"Correct!" Coomer replied.

Gordon looked at Tommy.

"Well Tommy, it took awhile but we finally found you better weapons. Choose whatever you like."

"Okay." He said, as he crouched down and started stifling through the guns.

He picked out a SPAS-12 and began loading it with shells, he cocked it and put it inside his lab coat. He then picked out an MP5 with a grenade launcher attached, he loaded in a new magazine and inserted grenades inside the launcher, then he put it inside his coat.

"Please, feel free to take whatever you like!" Coomer told everyone.

"I uh, think we're good." Cloud said.

"Oh, okay! I'll take them with me in case any of you change your mind!"

"You're gonna carry all of that?" Barret asked.

"Yes!" Coomer replied, as he made his way over to the guns just as Tommy finished picking out the ones he wanted.

"Wait," Vincent said, as he made his way to the guns,

"Let me get something."

Coomer nodded as Vincent picked up another SPAS-12 in the pile and stored it inside his cloak.

"That's all, I'd rather not over burden myself with too many weapons."

Coomer nodded again as he went back over to the pile.

At breakneck speed he started loading all the guns into his lab coat. Everyone stared at Coomer in amazement.

"How is he able…" Tifa said, having a hard time processing what she was seeing.

After Coomer finished loading all the guns on the floor into his coat, he then crawled into the crate and began poking around.

"I almost forgot!" Coomer said, his voice slightly muffled.

When he crawled out and stood back up, he had an M249 SAW in his hands, and looked like a kid who got his favorite toy for Christmas.

"The Big One!" He shouted excitedly.

"There's also more!"

He then went back into the crate and pulled out a Tau Cannon, along with a Gluon Gun. Bubby's teleporter gun was there too, along with the rocket launchers they had.

"What the?" Gordon said,

"Coomer, how do you have these in the first place?"

"When Shinra was experimenting on me they had all of my weapons locked away so they could test them. But when my clones started to rampage and sealed me into this room, they left all my weapons behind! Nice how that worked out, huh Gordon?"

Coomer stashed the rest of the weapons into his coat.

"Yeah I guess." Gordon replied,

"Let me be honest though." He said, starting to feel pumped up.

"We got you back, Tommy's here, we got our entire arsenal back. We have new people. We're probably gonna meet Bubby soon. We have all the fucking tools to take on the world!"

Gordon then began shaking with excitement.

"WE'RE FUCKING INCINVIBLE!"

He then began running out of the room,

"Come on! Shinra, Benrey and Sephiroth aren't gonna get screwed themselves!"

Everyone meanwhile was looking at Gordon with bewilderment as he left the room.

"What the hell?" Yuffie said,

"One minute he looked like he wanted to die and now he's acting like he can take on the whole world!"

"That's our Gordon for you!" said Coomer.

As they were making their way out of the room, Coomer went over to Tifa.

"Excuse me miss?" Coomer said, getting her attention.

"I couldn't help but notice that you're also a fellow pugilist!"

"Uh y-yeah." Tifa said nervously, still wary of Coomer after what they just went through.

"I trained in martial arts when I was young, and I have a lot of experience in fights too."

"That's great to hear!" Coomer said,

"If you don't mind me asking, would it be alright if we spared one day? I would love to have a proper fight with another skilled in the arts of hand to hand combat!"

Cloud shot his head over to where they were, and was about to go over and stop what Coomer was proposing, but before he could he heard Tifa speak.

"Sure, we can spar one day." She said, almost confidently.

"Whoopie!" Coomer shouted gleefully.

"And just so you know, I felt everything they felt. So I won't lie, that combo you gave that one clone was most impressive!"

Tifa looked at Coomer, not sure of what to make of what she just heard.

"Uh, thanks." She said nervously.

"And Gordon really went to town back there!" He said, as he walked away from Tifa.

Cloud then went over to Tifa after Coomer made a good distance from where they were walking.

"I felt his strength when we shook hands, be careful." He said,

Tifa silently nodded as they left the room.
