Chapter Two \\ Tempus Turner
The Hogwarts express was leaving at eleven on the dot. Ginny left to find a compartment at ten thirty.
Usually she sat with Luna but Luna wanted to sit with Neville and Neville was sitting with jasmine.
Thirty minutes into the ride Ginny remembered something sirius had said to her the summer before.
FLASHBACK
Remus walked intp the kitchen where ginny, ron, hermione and harry where sitting."hey, Ginny, can you come in here with me?"
Everyone looked up. "Oh, yea, sure." She stood up and followed him into the meeting room for the order and found sirius already sitting at the table.
She sat down and looked at them. "Yea?"
They looked at each other before sirius nodded and pulled a small box out of his pocket.
"Ginny, I'm not sure if you know, but, I have a brother."
She hadn't known, but she stayed quiet, wanting to hear where this was going.
"He started out on the wrong path in life and... Was very deep in trouble, he wouldn't let anyone close to him. Especially not me." He paused, fiddling with the corner of the box. "Until, this girl I knew, we knew, noticed. She was a sister to us. She had been with us since year one. Well, she noticed our, my, distraction and, behind my back, befriended regulus. She got him to open up, and helped him in ways no one else could. She went missing in the first war and this was all we could find." He lifted the box. "there was a note, it said 'give this to this me thats not me. The me that hasn't come to her full potential.' So," he looked up at her. "You might not yet be ready, but, per her orders, this is to go to you." He handed her the box. "You don't have to open it now, but just, hold on to it. It helped her through many tough times."She reached down and grabbed the book bag Hermione had given her for classes. She reached into the side pocket and pulled out the box. Gently opening it she found the note they spoke about. It was written in writing so similar to hers. Just under the writing was a necklace.
The necklace had a golden chain and the pendant on it was a black fox.she admired the fox for a moment before carefully putting the necklace on. The second she clasped it the fox shifted to a white horse. Her eyes widened for a moment before she realizedrealized the horse matched her patronus.
If she had looked closely enough, she would have seen the words carved into the back of both the horse and the fox.
Tempus Turner.
