Shin groaned a bit as he started to wake. The sun was shining into his eyes so he tried to adjust his position however he found he could not move. Opening his eyes Shin found a bunch of blue hair just below his head and pressed into his chest. Glancing down he noticed a head and small body attached to the deep blue hair.

Shin shut his mouth, as to not make a noise. 'Where am I?' He thought as his eyes glanced around the room to check his surroundings. Slowly his memories from last night finally came back to the front of his mind.

'Right I found that guild thing last night.' He thought as he slowly tried to move away from Wendy without waking her.

Soon he freed himself from his fellow Dragon Slayer and got to his feet. The room he was in was not too big but also not too small. The only thing of note in the room was the bed mat he and Wendy had slept on.

Shin let out a yawn as he stretched his back and arms, before he could do anything else his stomach grumbled at him and he looked down. "Guess I should get something to eat." He muttered quietly as he started to make his way out of the room.

Once he made it back to the main room of the guild he took a moment to look around. While it was still a bit rundown and empty like he remembered it there were a few key differences. The first being that the room was a bit cleaner than before. The second change was there were other people talking with Roubaul.

Shin blinked and tilted his head before finally making his way over to the old man. "Umm excuse me?" He asked politely, drawing the attention of Roubaul the newcomers.

Roubaul smiled as Shin approached. "Aww our guest, its good to see you awake." He said with a smile. "What can I do for you?"

Shin blinked but composed himself. "I-is there any food I can eat?" He asked politely albeit a little shyly.

Roubaul's smile grew a bit and he nodded. "Of course there is, just head over to that table and I will get you something." He said with a smile as he slowly stood up.

Shin blinked but followed his instructions and walked over to the sole table in the room, taking a seat at it.

Meanwhile.

Wendy's eyes fluttered as sun hit her eyes. Slowly she sat up and let out a yawn and stretched her arms. Upon opening her eyes she glanced around the room. "Was it just a dream?" She muttered somewhat sadly. Slowly she got out of bed and made her way to the main hall of Cait Shelter.

Upon entering her eyes widened as her gaze landed at the sole wooden table and the young boy who was seated at it. "It wasn't a dream." She muttered as a smile grew on her face and she quickly ran over to her new friend.

Good morning Shin!" She said happily as she took a seat next to him.

Shin turned to her and smiled back. "Morning..Wendy right?" He asked and she quickly nodded in response.

"Ya that's right." She said happily. "I am glad you remembered my name."

Shin smiled back at her. "Y-ya me too." He replied as he glanced down at his feet. The two fell into silence for a few moments. Shin opened his mouth to speak when two plates of meat and fruit were set down in front of them.

"Here you go." Roubaul said as he looked at the two kids. "Be sure to eat it all, I am sure you will be needing it later." He said with a knowing look much to the two's confusion.

"Umm why?" Wendy asked as she looked up at her guild master.

"Well I am going to need your help cleaning up." He replied, gesturing around them. "And once we are done you two can play outside." He added upon seeing the worried expressions on their faces.

Shin's and Wendy's expressions quickly changed to smiles as they turned their attention back to their breakfast and started eating at a faster rate.

Roubaul chuckled as he turned and walked away. 'Aw to be young again.' He thought before glancing around the room. 'But this will take a lot of work, even with my Illusions being able to touch things it will take a while.'

Once Wendy and Shin finished eating they joined the rest of the "guild" in cleaning up the place. The other members focused on cleaning the top and upper walls of the guild hall while Wendy and Shin helped sweep the dust and dirt that fell to the floor out of the hall as well as carrying some of the smaller objects outside to be wiped down before they brought it back in. It was very tiring work for the two and they had to take several breaks throughout the day. By lunch time they had only finished a quarter of it when Roubaul ordered everyone to take a break while he got lunch prepared.

Once lunch was finished Roubaul sent them back to their room to rest while he and the others continued cleaning the hall.

Despite their protests of not being tired the two quickly fell asleep waking up in the afternoon. They hurried back to the hall and continued cleaning with their fellow guild mates. By the time dinner rolled around they had finished the clean up.

"Good job everyone." Roubaul said as he looked around the guild hall. His eyes soon turned to Shin and Wendy, who despite the dirt and dust covering them from cleaning had smiles on their faces. "Why don't you two head outside and play while I cook us up some dinner."

Their smiles grew and the two quickly headed outside the guild hall. Roubaul's smile vanished as he turned to the rest of the guild. "I really hope I made the right choice." He muttered sadly as he turned to start work on dinner for the two.

The next day Wendy yawned as she woke up, stretching her arms to loosen up the joints. She glanced to her side and saw Shin laying there on the bed, since they only had one the two of them had opted to share it till they could get another one. Roubaul seemed a bit surprised by this when she told him but did not object.

Turning her thoughts back to the present, Wendy quietly slid out of bed and walked out of the room. Upon entering the guild hall she could not help but smile at the change in appearance. Just like when she first arrived the walls of the hall had some patchwork repairs, unlike when she first arrived however it was now fairly well lit and the furniture was now clean.

Around one of the freshly cleaned tables were a few of her guild mates, who seemed engrossed in whatever conversation they were having.

After taking in the sight of the room, she made her way over to a table next to the one with her fellow guild members. Once she had taken a seat another member of the guild walked up to her.

"Hello Wendy, nice to finally meet you." The woman said with a polite smile as she held out her hand. "I am Jessica, I handle some of the cooking here."

Wendy shook her hand politely before blinking at the new person. Before master Roubaul did the cooking, were you out on a mission?" She asked.

Jessica nodded with a big smile. "Yes I was, it took me a while to finish it so Master had to handle some of my duties here while I was gone." She explained.

Wendy blinked and nodded in understanding and opened her mouth to speak when her stomach growled, causing her to blush.

"Sounds like somebody is ready for breakfast, how about I go make some eggs and toast for you." Jessica said with a knowing smile.

"T-that would be nice." Wendy replied shyly as she glanced up at her guild mate.

Jessica nodded. "Ok I will be right back with your food." She said as she walked away from the table and made her way over to the kitchen area.

After a minute or two Shin walked out of the other room, rubbing his eyes. He too glanced around the room before walking over to the table she was at and sat down next to her.

"Morning Wendy." He murmured before letting out a yawn.

"Morning Shin." She replied with a smile. She opened her mouth to continue speaking when Jessica returned with two plates, setting one down in front of each of them.

"Here you go, toast and eggs." She stated happily.

Shin blinked at his plate and then glanced up at Jessica. "Thank you for the food." He said and started to eat his food happily Wendy thanked her as well before digging into her own food as well.

Once they had finished eating Jessica came back and took their plates away, leaving the two young slayers alone at the table.

Shin glanced around the room before he turned his gaze towards Wendy. "D-do you want to go outside and play?" He asked.

Wendy blinked but smiled."Ya! Let's go." She said as she stood up from the table and made her way outside, Shin followed close behind her.

That Evening

The two played together through the day, mostly playing tag or with a ball they found in the guild hall. They briefly came inside during lunch time to get something to eat before heading back out again.

Before they knew it the sun was starting to set as both of them sat near the edge of the cliff, recovering from their long day of fun as they watched the sunset in relative silence.

Eventually Wendy broke the Silence. "Today was fun, I have not played like that before."

Shin nodded. "Same here Mom mostly spent her time teaching me about the world and magic." He replied.

Wendy turned to look at him. "You said she was a Moon Dragon, so what did she teach you?" She asked.

"Just a few things, she taught me how to use Dragon roar, punch, kick and wing attack." He explained.

Wendy nodded. "My mom mostly taught me how to heal people or make them stronger." She said as she glanced back at the sun. "She also taught me her Dragon roar but I am not very good at it."

"I have my roar down, maybe I can help you with yours." Shin offered.

Wendy snapped her head back to him and blinked for a moment before a large smile grew on her face. "I would love that." She replied.

"Alright, tomorrow we will work on your Dragon roar." Shin said excitedly.

Wendy's smile grew and she turned to watch the sun as it finished setting. "We should probably head inside." She said as she got to her feet.

Shin nodded in response as he stood up as well and the two of them headed back inside of the guild hall.

The next morning the two of them got up and had a quick breakfast before heading outside. They walked to the edge of the cliff again when Shin turned towards Wendy.

"Ok, Show me your roar." He said excitedly.

Wendy nodded shyly as she turned to look over the edge of the cliff. She took a deep breath and

"Sky Dragon's Roar" She called out as she pushed her magic the way she was taught and a mild gust of wind was released from her mouth, causing her to pout.

Shin blinked at this and then his eyes widened. "Try again but this time hold it in longer and let your magic build up." He said, reciting his mothers advice to him.

Wendy tilted her head a bit before nodding, taking another deep breath, this time holding it for several moments before finally releasing it. This time it was like a small tornado was released from her booth and shot through the sky. But just as quickly as it appeared it disappeared and Wendy collapsed to the ground panting.

Shin smiled bright and jumped up in joy. "Yes you did it. Now if you can make the build up time shorter you will have it perfect." He said happily.

Wendy nodded and took a deep breath to regain some of her strength through the air. Once she settled down she looked up at Shin. "Thank you Shin, but how did you figure that out so fast?" She asked.

Shin glanced at the ground and dug his foot into the dirt a bit. "I had the same problem and that was what my mom told me to do."

Wend nodded and lowered her head, grabbing the hem of her shirt and fiddling with it.

"D-do you think they are still out there? Waiting for us?" She asked in a quiet tone.

Shin looked up at her eyes widened at her question before he too turned his attention to the floor.

"I hope so." He replied and the two of them stood there for several moments as the sun finally set.

"We should head back inside." Wendy said, finally breaking the silence.

Shin nodded silently and the two of them returned to their guild hall.

Elsewhere.

A lone Figure sat on a rock overlooking a valley, a simple black cloak covered the Figure's appearance from the view of others. In the strangers hands was a letter, beside them a carrier pigeon staring up at the cloaked being.

"So the gate opened but the slayers were scattered, I guess he would call this a success." The Stranger muttered as they set the letter down and stared up at the moon for a few moments. "You can go back, I have no return message for them."

The pigeon tweeted a bit before taking off and flying away. Once the bird was gone the Figure stood up. "Well I better get to searching then." They muttered before glancing behind them. "But first I should finish cleaning up this mess." They added as their eyes gazed upon the dozens of unconscious bandits behind them.

First sorry for taking so long on posting this chapter. Second as I am sure you can tell I am started to have trouble writing dialog for five year olds(I know big shock that a adult is having trouble writing a child's dialog) so in a few chapters I might be time skipping to The Oracion Seis arc.

Also I want to say how surprised I am at the popularity of this story I never thought a Harry Potter x Fairy Tail crossover would keep gaining followers even a month after the last chapter was posted.

The next fic I post for should be The Forgotten Biju before I return to this one.
