A year had passed since Shin and Tsukiyomi were reunited and things had really picked up at the Cait Shelter guild. First gaining what was basically a S rank mage really helped them gain recognition with the Magic council. The down side of this was Tsukiyomi was pulled away for missions most of the time, but that did not mean she did not keep her promise to her son and his best friend.

Whenever she was at the guild and resting up she would take Shin and Wendy outside and try and teach them something new about Dragon magic, be it a new spell or give them somecritique on how they were doing to help them grow. For Wendy who mostly knew healing magic she focused on teaching offensive spells and growing her fighting capabilities, it was a slow but steady process. For Shin she started to teach him what her kind specialize in, and it still brought a smile to her face as she remembered that

Tsukiyomi was outside the guild with Shin and Wendy, she had just gotten back yesterday from an A-rank so she had a few days off. "Now Shin I believe you have grown enough to start learning what it is that sets Moondragons apart from other dragons." She said in a calm voice.

Shin quickly grew excited. "Yes I am ready mom. I will practice all the time to master it."

Tsukiyomi slammed her foot on the ground and the earth shook startling Wendy and Shin when they looked up then stepped back due to the serious look on her face. "You will do no such thing. In fact if I even catch a rumor of you practicing this without me around not only I will stop training both of you but the following punishment will be most severe." She stated in a serious tone her voice growing louder with each word. "This spell is dangerous to yourself and those around you if done wrong thus you will only practice when I am here, is that understood."

Both Wendy and Shin nodded their heads quickly as they were evidently in fear of their lives.

Tsukiyomi closed her eyes and lets out a breath as her expression returned to normal. "I am sorry for scaring you two but I am being serious when I say this spell could harm if not kill one of you when done wrong." She said in her usual calm motherly voice. "That is why I don't want you practicing it without me around you could die just from using it incorrectly but with me here I can either fix the damage or find out what went wrong and solve it." She explained.

The two young slayers nodded as they too started to settle down as well although were a little nervous about this spell.

Once they had settled down enough Tsukiyomi began her explanation "The spell is call Relocation and it most basic form that you will be learning for now is that of single person teleportation, however it has more advanced forms, groups teleportation I will teach you when you are older but it's true power is dimensional teleportation." She said and paused, giving the kids a few moments to process all of this.

Understandably the two kids seemed confused by all of this. Tsukiyomi just smiled and then vanished in a flash startling the two. Shin and Wendy jumped in shock and surprise and walked over to the spot where Tsukiyomi was standing.

"Where did she go?" Wendy asked in a worried tone as she glanced over at her friend.

Shin shook his head in confusion. "I don't know she is just gone..." he muttered in a worried tone of voice.

"I am over here!" A voice called out and the two turned around to see Tsukiyomi standing near the entrance of the guild hall. The two smiled as they saw her and ran over to her. "As you can see teleportation can be useful for traveling short distances and escaping your enemy if you are quick enough."

Shin nodded excitedly as he bounced up and down on his feet, excited to get started practicing this new spell. "I'm ready mom, just tell me what I need to do." He said with a smile.

Tsukiyomi returned his smile. "We will get started in a moment, little one I need to give Wendy something to do as well." She said before turning to the young Sky Dragon slayer. "I want you to work on your stamina, while you are a support magic caster and by now you have a wide array of spells it does not help others if you pass out while trying to heal them." She explained in a gentle tone.

Wendy nodded as she took a few moments to think before tilting her head. "How should I do that?" She asked out of curiosity.

Tsukiyomi smiled at the young girl's question. "Try casting your spells for longer periods of time or hold them for a bit longer than you normally would. Once that becomes easy, try to surpass that time." She replied simply. "Just be sure not to push yourself too far, you don't want to end up hurting yourself."

Wendy nodded and walked off to get started on her training, casting her spells one at a time, channeling them for as long as she could then trying to break that limit. And move onto the next spell.

Tsukiyomi nodded once she made sure Wendy was doing the exercise correctly and turned to her son. "Now then. Let's get started." She said with a smile.

Flashback end

The training was an overall success Wendy's could cast more spells and hold them for far longer then before and thus she moved on to try and learn some new attacks but it was much slower for her.

Shin made a fair amount of progress with his new spell. While he could only teleport about one hundred feet from his previous position. He had kept his word and not practiced teleportation without her around and thus she rewarded him by teaching him a few new spells: Moonlight Blades, Moonlight butterflies and Moonlight Palm. He had them all at a fair combat ready but not yet master in her opinion.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard several excited voices and looked up to see she had arrived at the guild. "Wonder what happened." She muttered as she made her way inside the guild hall. The Hall was the same as always except everyone was gathered around the center of the room. In the middle were two large eggs: one white one grey.

Tsukiyomi just stood there for a moment till she heard a voice call out to her. "Mom your back!" She glanced to the side of the Grey egg to see her son standing there with a big smile on his face. "Look what me and Wendy found mom!" It was only then she took note of Wendy standing next to the white egg.

She stepped closer, tilting her head a bit as she inspected the eggs. "You found some giant eggs in the forest?" She asked as she glanced between the two slayers. "I must say I am impressed you managed to carry them back without cracking them."

"We think they might be Dragon eggs." Wendy said, speaking up. "So we are trying to help them hatch."

Tsukiyomi blinked at this and took a deep breath before letting out a sigh. "They are not Dragon eggs." She stated much to the shock of the kids. "While the size is about right the color does not match any egg I know of so it is probably some other type of creature." She replied simply and took a seat near the eggs.

Shin and Wendy both look down at the ground but turn back to the eggs after a few moments. "Can we still try and hatch them?" Shin asked in a somewhat said tone.

His mother thought about it for a few moments before nodding. "Yes, you can but if it proves dangerous then I will have to deal with it." She answered simply.

The two Dragonslayer smiled and hugged her in thanks. Tsukiyomi returned the hug before letting them go and they returned to the eggs. She just shook her head and walked over to Roubaul, who was seated in his usual spot watching the commotion.

"Welcome back, was your mission successful?" He asked, glancing up at her briefly before returning his gaze to the center of the guild hall.

"Yes, though they put up more of a fight than I thought they would, it was nothing I couldn't handle in this form." She calmly replied before returning her gaze to the eggs as well. "Do you think we should be worried about them?"

Roubaul took a deep breath and seemed to ponder her question for a few moments before answering. "It's hard to say. With their size it's doubtful to be a small creature but whether or not it is dangerous I do not know." He said as he continued to watch the two kids under their care.

Tsukiyomi nodded in agreement and closed her eyes. "I will go get cleaned up, after that I will help Shin and Wendy with the eggs." She said calmly before walking off.

Roubaul watched her walk off and leave the guild hall before he once again focused his gaze on the slayers and the giant eggs. "I never thought this place would be this lively again." He muttered with a small smile.

Tsukiyomi returned a while later in a casual Yukata, her hair slightly damp showing she had gotten a bath or shower. She made her way over to the two eggs that Wendy and Shin were diligently working on keeping warm, surrounding the base with hay and the eggs themselves with blankets.

She smiled at their efforts, she sat down next to the eggs. She reached out to the white one, touching it gently. 'What are you and where did you come from?' She thought as tilted her head slightly and slowly stroked the shell as she stared at it curiously. Suddenly she felt the egg shake as she stopped moving her hand. When the egg shook again her eyes narrowed a bit as she readied herself.

Suddenly sharp cracking noises slowly started to fill the air as the eggs started to break and she quickly withdrew her hand.

"Everyone! hurry up, the eggs are hatching!" Wendy called out excitedly as the guild gathered around. Even Roubaul got off his seat and walked over to watch. Slowly more and more cracks formed before the eggs shattered and sitting in the middle of the remains were two small cats. The white egg remains held a white cat while the grey one had a grey cat with black spots.

Tsukiyomi blinked in surprise at this. "Cats? But cats don't hatch from eggs." She said in a confused tone as she stared at the two newborns. The white one seemed to be in shock while the spotted one looked up at them curiously.

"Aww, they're so cute." Wendy said with a big smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

Shin had a similar expression as he turned to his mom "Can we keep them mom please?" He begged.

Tsukiyomi glanced between the cats and the slayers once before nodding. "Yes you can keep them." She said calmly as the two slayers exploded with joy.

Wendy knelt down next to the white one and smiled at her. "Hello I'm Wendy, I found your egg in the forest so I am gonna take care of you from now on." She said before pausing in thought. "But first you need a new... How about Carla?" She asked when the white cat did not complain Wendy just smiled more. "Carla it is, I hope we become the best of friends."

Shin knelt down next to the spotted cat who was still looking up at him. "I'm Shin I was the one who found you just like Wendy did with Carla. Do you want to be friends?" He asked the spotted cat.

The cat's tail wagged behind it and it slowly crawled closer to him. "I'll take that as a yes, it's nice to meet you. I'm gonna name you Gin" Shin said happily as he picked up the small cat.

Tsukiyomi smiled at the four and shook her head. "Never a dull moment around here with these two." She muttered as she stood up and turned to Roubaul who nodded and walked back to his seat. The cats seemed safe enough for now so there was nothing to worry about and if there was she had plenty of time to prepare.
