/ I would like to just make sure everyone knows, the Warriors series and any other things relating to that are not mine. This fanfiction is somewhat going along with the Power of Three series, and I used some of Erin Hunter's ideas in my story from those books. Thank you for reading and I hope you like it. \\
Prologue || The Prophecy
Hopestar's brown fur glows under the moonlight. Her orange eyes scan the area. She steps forward. Where is this? She thinks. An orange tabby pads into the clearing. Her fur was coated with stars. Her eyes glittered as she blinked.
"Orangeflame!" Hopestar exclaimed.
Orangeflame spun around, fear in her eyes, she began to speak. As she spoke, her words sounded distant, barely able to be heard.
Hopestar strained to hear her words.
"Dark Forest… Taking over…"
Orangeflame started changing colors to resemble different cats from the clans. Dead and alive. As she changed, her voice got clearer and deeper.
"Help…"
Suddenly, Acornlilly, a she from RiverClan who recently died, padded in.
As Acornlilly spoke, Orangeflame seemed to disappear.
"There will be four cats in your camp. A murderous fox in the moonlight, a bold stripe in the daylight, a shadow that hears everything, and and a snow who understands better than any other. They will know what to do to save the clans."
Orangeflame's dead body appeared and Acornlilly screamed.
It went black.
Hopestar woke up, sweaty and scrambling to her paws. Just a dream. One side of her said. No! Starclan needs our help! The other side argued. She then realized a few cats were staring up at her.
She had fallen asleep on the highrock, her mate, Tigerstripes, looked up at her from right below.
Tigerstripes padded up the rock, "Again?" he whispered. The dream had been happening for at least a moon now.
"Yes." She jumped down.
Hopestar heard a yowl. It was Appleclaw. "Berryheart's kitting!"
The clan got loud and after a few moments everyone was awake.
Hopestar walked over and talked to Appleclaw. "I'll hunt for her."
"You shouldn't hunt, you're the leader." Berrymark, the medicine cat, mewed.
Hopestar sighed, "But I need fresh air."
Berrymark couldn't argue with that. "Fine."
She walked out and soon entered a clearing where she smelled mice.
She lunged at the mouse she smelled.
She returned with the mouse and headed straight to the nursery. Once she got there, Appleclaw stopped her.
"I'll bring it to her. The kits have been born and she named them Shadowkit, Snowkit, and Stripekit." He said.
Shadowkit, Snowkit, and Stripekit. The names repeated in her head. A shadow, snow, and stripe. Now all we need could be the fox…
But do I want the fox…?
