AN: So. Sorry for not writing, a new term of school, and I just kinda didn't get around to writing, I had time but, I didn't, I try to get all my writing done in a sitting. Didn't happen here. Sorry, to be fair though, no one pays me, I just do this for me. But sorry for missing several updates.

To be clear, I am not making another story. That was a response to a question.

So question and this is important, should I put other Pantheons in later? I thought about this due to a review. I never intended to, but thinking about it. With the way, I have the world set up rn. I think it would be best to say that other places have gods. I won't really focus on them. I only know a bit about the Norse pantheon, I don't really wanna try anything with Rome and won't, assuming I don't have the whole Mediterranean under the sway of the Omnissiah before it matters.

As for including YHWH/Adonai/Elohim…..that's a mess waiting to happen. Even just from a story perspective given the parallels. Especially since I'm Christian. That's confirmation if the chi-rho of my profile didn't give that away. Sorry if you dislike me now. So let's just say, I'm leaning towards kinda just saying in passing that there were other divines on earth that the Machine God met, made agreements with, or conquered. In passing because by the point that comes to pass, we will have gotten well into the mid to late game of where I have ideas for this story to go. Maybe, we'll see.

The procession moved forward, at this point they were entering an area that was quite unlike the rest of the underworld, it was dark, to say the least. Even to the enhanced sight of the Omnissiah, he had trouble seeing, only his nonmaterial senses allowed him to see his surroundings. Hades was leading them into an abyss, 'Given what I overheard Hades say about primordials and their body's I would not be surprised if we were in Erebus. Or rather his domain, the abyss,' he noted the cliff nearby that seemed to have no end, 'or the edge of that abyss.'

He looked up and saw that unlike the strange artificial sky's of the underworld there was only more of the abyss that was present below. Turning his attention back to the group he noted Daedelus was staying close to Hades, and while he didn't look unnerved he could tell the craftsman was far from comfortable, and would likely be worse if his lord and master were not so close.

'Speaking of close,' the primordial deity looked to his side and found the accompanying goddess turn her head to him, flashing him a smirk. 'She hasn't touched me, but she hasn't been much more than a foot from me for most of the trip. I understand the wish to unravel a mystery in search of knowledge, but she also hasn't asked me anything, just been close to me-'

"Soooo, you are supposedly a primordial huh?" Internally He of Crimson Robes muttered a tangent about timing, "And you mentioned some interesting names, multiple even, all the gods I've met don't introduce their epithets and domain. Seems rather formal and odd to me, I'm not even sure what to call you, funny with how casual you seem to be with myself and Hades."

Her words lacked accusation but he responded nonetheless, "My intent was not to offend. I simply do not wish to call my equals by titles. As for my 'epithets' as you put them. No." She cocked her head and her eyebrows moved together slightly, "Those are my names, not epithets. You may call me what everyone else does, Omnissiah. I introduced myself as I did because that is who I am, I am all three in one. Before I gave myself this body, I spoke in 'we' not 'I'."

The group continued to move along, there was a path down, but they took one leading seemingly upwards. "Well, you certainly know how to make a goddess ask herself questions…Omnissiah." She paused before her expression loosened and changed back to a smirk. "Now I'm not sure I want to take away the mystique you have. It might prove to be too deep for me to handle."

Yes, they were definitely going into an even darker place, with an incline. "I am sovereign over knowledge, so I shall illuminate your understanding. I am a tri-part being, with the Omnissiah being the human incarnation of my being. Each holds domain over something. I am each. They are names, not epithets. Though I've been acquiring what seems to be an ever-growing addition to my list of those recently."

"Ohh? You have me interested now. Come on tell me some of them." glancing at her didn't tell him much since her expression hadn't changed. Deciding to humour her he responded.

"Very well, let me think, hmm" after a moment of consideration he decided to give one of the newer Epithets that wouldn't require too much explanation. "I believe the 'One of Crimson Robes' is rather self-explanatory, though perhaps 'One of Invisible Works' is more mysterious."

Styx hummed in thought, absently the tri-part deity noted that Hades seemed to be listening now. Daedalus for his part appeared more focused on staying close to Hades to be paying much attention to what the goddess and guest were discussing. "Hm, well, I don't know much about you, hence this conversation, but unless you are a sneaky one who does things out of sight, or can make things invisible...no that's no it. Hmm, given that the contracts floated up to me after you asked me about them I would wager that has something to do with it."

The Omnissiah found himself humming in approval, "That is indeed related, I've made several things in front of humans without using actual hands as if there were many invisible workers to them. At least that is the impression I got from their prayers."

A small huff that sounded slightly forced came from the goddess of oaths at that, "You know I should have figured you got prayers given that is where epithets come from but I don't think that it clicked until now that even though you are new on the scene you are probably getting more prayers than me." her smirk took on a pout like quality.

"Ah, I see, in my defence, I have been actively attempting to reach mortals and I am given the impression by my host and yourself that you don't leave your river post often, let alone interact with living mortals." she sighs and nods.

"I interact with plenty of mortal souls, but never living ones. Part of the reason for the lack of prayers to me is that there are generally a low number of sacrifices and prayers to almost all chthonic gods. Not that I blame them, most people don't want to think about where they go when they die." while it was interesting that an immortal understood mortal's dislike for death, that could be explained in a number of ways, so the Omnissiah chose not to comment on it.

"I see, well-" the Machine God cut himself off when it became clear that the group had arrived at a house, it was of decent size though it was far from a palace. The surroundings seemed to no longer be simple abyssal darkness by lights accompanying them, "Hm, I am the barely familiar with gods and goddesses, and less so with Primordials. If I recall correctly Erebus is in control of the abyssal darkness, and Nyx is sovereign over the night, yes?"

Hades spoke up, "Yes that is correct. Now then I think it would be best to get this underway, so I'll go and speak to them." just as the King of the Underworld turned to move to the house the entrance opened and a woman appeared, she was dressed in purple and black, with only a few other colours, her skin was pale but it didn't look unhealthy. Her hair flowed like water in the air with stars appearing on the inner side of her hair. "Ah, it seems that isn't needed, hello Nyx are you feeling well?"

The Mistress of the Night smiled, "Yes Hades thank you for asking, I didn't expect to see you again so soon. Ah, and I see you've brought others, Styx it has been a while." Styx gave a vicious smile, Nyx responding with a hum before she turned her attention to the mortal soul and the robed stranger, "You two, I don't believe we've met, please come inside then introduce yourselves."

The group moved in, the workman once again returning to the Eldest son of Chronos's side. Styx moved in with The Life Sparker, smirking, much to Nyx's confusion. The inside of the house was rather beautiful if simple in materials. It was far from gaudy, mostly patterns in tiles and art nature. They moved into a room with chairs where a man sat, his skin was tanned though it felt difficult to see him despite the room being well lit.

His clothes were simple, and surprisingly varied, though they weren't very bright. "Oh, we have guests?" the man, almost certainly Erebus asked. The couple exchanged a look before looking at the tri-part deity, and back at each other with a nod.

"Indeed," the primordial goddess said to her other half, "now make yourselves comfortable, I'll get some food and drinks before you introduce yourselves and tell us why you are visiting" Nyx spoke to her guests with a small smile as she left the room.

The inventor and his king found chairs not too far from the sitting host, meanwhile, Styx sat on a soft bench next to the Omnissiah. Though there was plenty of room between them, that was noted. He had noted her previous closeness, it took The Granter of Directed Motion a little bit to figure out why. He recalled the Lord of the Dead's words, 'you like the mysterious type'.

'So she is… interested in me, and not just curiosity wise but also likely, sexual. Given what I know from some of the Olympians, she has been rather tame. Though perhaps that is due to her not being an Olympian… or her being a goddess.' it had been about a minute of surprisingly non-awkward silence. 'Though the question remains, what do I do about that if anything.' Nyx walked back in carrying the before-mentioned food and drinks. 'Let's not worry about that right now.'

"The food is not from the underworld, so it should be fine to consume in case you are wondering." The Night Bringer set down her cargo on a table in the middle of the room before she sat next to Erebus on their couch. She glanced over at the two pairs, "Are you sure you two don't want better seats than that bench, Styx?" she indicated which of them she was talking to.

The river goddess shook her head, "No, I am quite alright." her smile was rather pleasant with something underneath.

A nod from Nyx, "And you? Are you alright there?" the trinity nodded his robed head. "Alright, I know Hades and Styx but how about you two introduce yourselves. Are you alright with doing so mortal?"

The shade cleared his throat, "Yes, ah, excuse me if I am improper my lady. I am Daedalus, my Lord's Head-Craftsmen" he gestured to said Lord who nodded.

"Ah, of course, we have heard of you, though few haven't, I find it very hard to believe this is the first time we have met a good craftsman. Though myself and Nyx rarely leave our home, so it isn't too unbelievable." the Abyssal Primordial spoke.

"And it is an honour to meet you both my lord." a chuckle from the two hosts.

"No need to be so formal, we hardly see the point in standing on ceremony. Now then would you mind introducing yourself?" her question was obviously intended for the Lord of All Machine Spirits.

Removing the hood from his head he spoke, "A pleasure to meet both of you, I am the Machine God, Omnissiah, and Motive Force, you may call me Omnissiah. I came here to see if I am the cause of the discomfort you felt less than a week ago, and if so, apologize. Though given you felt a 'different yet familiar' feeling upon my entering the underworld. I'll simply say it wasn't my intention, nor did I know of it until much later."

Both Nyx and Erebus had widened their eyes at the implications of that, the pair looked at Hades who nodded and spoke, "I'd like some confirmation of that too."

"Ah, well," the Partner of the Night spoke, "we had assumed you were merely related to that familiar feeling we told Hades about, though we can't really tell right now. I don't feel anything from you."

The Star Holder voiced her confusion, "Neither do I. Which is most strange." a moment of thought, "Perhaps we are used to your presence now as it is now, just as we were before you came to the underworld."

A hum came from the Omnissiah at that, "In that case, tell me am I what you felt both of these times?" extending his domain those in the room felt it, it was like a metal room, cold and hollow of contents. Yet as they peered into the room a light shone in the center, it wasn't cold. It was all very vivid, Daedelus shivered the others set their jaws. And though she was uncomfortable, especially being so close, Styx was greatly intrigued. He withdrew his domain.

The hosts nodded and the Lord of Darkness spoke, "Yes, yes you are. And being here, with you, I can certainly say you are like us, a primordial. Though how we've never met until now, I don't know. Tell me, where have you been?"

Everyone in the room looked at the now confirmed primordial, "I've told Hades this," the Lord of the dead looked confused before more was said, "but I don't know everything-"

"So you don't know?" Nyx asked her tone was part disbelieving, partly not.

"No, not entirely, though I had more to say. I am supposed to know, everything," the words seemed to have weight to them. Daedalus looked intrigued, more than the rest present, "I am the Lord of all Knowledge, I am supposed to be omniscient, yet I have forgotten much. When I awoke, less than a week ago, I knew less about the past than I did about the future. I've remembered some knowledge, but I am far from what I am supposed to be."

To say those present were either skeptical or alarmed would be accurate. Mortals liked to think that the gods or at least some of them, like Zeus, were omniscient. They weren't, and here was one claiming they were supposed to be. Not only that, but they knew future events. Funnily enough despite being the least powerful being there, Daedalus was the one to break the small silence, "You awoke? Where? You said less than a week ago, but…"

The skipping over knowing any amount of the future was not forgotten by those present, "Yes, that is the best way I can describe it, I… became aware of my surroundings and...myself. Us, me, we." to Styx who had moved slightly closer she saw how his eyes that were looking downward seemed glazed over. The Life Sparker looked up again and refocused, "As for where, I was home, though it looked very different from my memories...very."

Styx made to put a hand on his shoulder before he spoke again stopping her intentionally, "Regardless, I shall carry out my goals of guiding humanity, and acquiring a cult. In that regard, I don't believe I should take up any more of your time now that I've concluded my business with Hades and apologized for the sick discomfort he two of you felt."

Just at that moment, there was a knock at the door, Nyx got up and moved to see to it. Meanwhile, the Omnissiah thought back to a moment ago, 'I have no want to make an enemy of Styx, especially not with her being the contract intermediary. But I also have no reason to return her attentions, or anyone's attention for that matter, especially with all I need to do.'

The sounds of surprise from the door put those thoughts on hold, "Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos? My daughters, what are you doing here?" At this all were silent, Erebus had a confused look on his face and he stood to go join his partner, Hades had narrowed eyes. Daedalus seemed rather overwhelmed at this point, though that was understandable. The Oath Binder let out a sound of cautious interest. And after a moment the names were translated and connections were made.

A slight frown marked his face as he thought, 'Three daughters of Nyx, not just daughters but three, and their names. All related to threads, it would seem we shall meet 'The Fates'. the Machine God thought back to King Basil, the dream he claimed, 'They've known of me, and I have come to them, it seems they are here for me.'

The two hosts returned with three women of different ages, though not exactly as Basil described them, since they were all seemingly adults, and far closer in age. Though it was easy to tell who appeared the youngest, oldest, and median. "We The Fates," the youngest spoke, "great you with respect," the middle spoke, still in greek. Then in High Gothic, the eldest spoke, "...He Who is on Mars".

At those words, the air seemed heavy, no domain was called on but the Lord of Rusted Soil. Flashes of his home were followed by terse words, "How did you learn to say that?"

"We know many things as the weavers of mortal's fates," they seemed to be taking turns talking, "we do not know much, but you have changed our tapestry." the words seemed to hit the others in the room harder than any other revelation had, even the mother of these women and her partner were surprised. "We know only that what we said to you was a title, that could be spoken by mortals with great reverence. Much is uncertain," back to the seeming youngest, "yet that left quite an impression." The Omnissiah hadn't even realized he was standing until that moment, "We apologize if that is not good," the eldest finished saying, "but we felt we should make our case to you, in private." the three looked at those gathered.

Hades coughed before he stood and said, "Very well, we'll wait here." The Fates began to leave the room and house altogether. The Machine God followed them out of the house and watched them create a large hollow ball of thread.

"While we trust our mother," the ball had an entrance that they each entered after speaking their part, "her stars can see, privacy is key," the youngest was the last this time, "so for that, we made this here, do not fear."

The rhythming was set aside in his mind as he extended his senses beyond normal ones and focused on the area around him and the ball he found nothing amiss. Entering at the ready he found there was enough room to speak without being too close, about two meters. "What is your case?"

The sisters began to explain when he had awoken the threads of mortal lives changed. Each mortal has a thread from their birth that continues until their death when the moirai cut it. The changes included many threads lengthening, some shortening, and they suspected that many new threads would come in the future due to the run-on effects of these changes. They had informed king Basil of his presence in a dream, in order to in their words, "Ease the stress on the tapestry" What his actions with the new contract had caused, they did not yet know. For all these reasons they sought him out, "We shall watch."

"For now, but know this." their tones were serious and with warmth.

"We shall not stay impartial if you force our hand." the ball of thread began to unwind and disappear. They spoke as one before the threads were gone, "Do not challenge fate."

At that, they were gone, not allowing for a response, 'Hmmm. That was informative.' turning around Omnissiah the Duel Headed made his way back to the house. As he entered the house, 'I shall not challenge fate' he smiled, 'fate shall follow me.'

As he entered the room where everyone else was he found them conversing though they noticed him and Erebus spoke, "What did they say?" Nyx frowned at that but said nothing.

"Just that things had changed, and few other things" he gave a smile before putting his hood back up, "I think it is best I leave now. This has certainly been an exciting and eventful visit." at that everyone stood. Though a few seemed displeased he had been vague.

"I should return to my duties as well. Allow me to at least guide you back from Erebus's Abyss." The Lord of the Underworld offered.

"Thank you, I think that would be best, though I remember the path out of the underworld from there, I shall leave-" surprisingly, or perhaps not so surprisingly the Goddess of Oaths interrupted him.

"You may think you remember the route, but the underworld has a habit of shifting for those who try and leave, making it impossible for those who aren't guided to exit. Instead of taking the chance, I'll escort you out." a smile, "the rivers go all the way to the entrance anyways." Hades kept his face neutral, though internally he was wondering why his warnings never met much to his fellow divine beings.

'Then again, perhaps attempting to court a primordial is just not a problem to her. Even now that it is confirmed.' the group left the house, Erebus and Nyx seeing them to the end of their home, 'Uhhhh, now that I am thinking of it I most certainly need to inform Olympus of what happened…..except for Styx's...interests,' he looked over his shoulder to see Daedalus, who was also glancing at Styx who was asking minor questions to The Life Sparker while standing rather close to him, 'I don't need Aphrodite getting any ideas...any more ideas. If she has none for him, I will have to start betting on some of those chariot races in Elysium, because clearly Tyche found a way to easily affect immortals and is feeling generous.'

The King of the Dead's internal thoughts were unknown to all but him, at that moment the Lord of All Machines Spirits was thinking while answering questions, 'While there is no reason to anger Styx...I will not be returning to the underworld unless absolutely necessary. And I shall be sure to say I am too busy to visit should I meet her again, I doubt I shall even have to lie.'

The procession moved forward, they soon exited the Abyss, "Well, this has certainly been something, but I have many duties I've left unfulfilled, and I fear I have more than when I left. Styx, Omnissiah" he tilted his head as he said their names and moved to return to the palace in search of a messenger with Daedalus following behind him.

Styx turned to the only other remainder and smirked before walking, "Alright, let's head to the entrance. If you'd like I could tell you a bit about the underworld while we walk."

The trinity followed her while giving her a small genuine small, "That would be appreciated thank you, I admit my knowledge is rather limited." the pair walked at a decent pace when they came to a river the Oath Binder would swim while the Omnissiah floated over the waters. All the while a fast-paced exchange was taking place, as the most important information about the underworld's structure and residents were told to the Granter of Directed Motion.

Once the shades waiting on the river were within sight the pair stood at the edge of the river, "Well, thank you for telling me so much, it is greatly appreciated. Now-"

"Oh wait before you go, I can see Charon let me introduce you to him," she gently grabbed his wrist as important as he is, his job only really exists because of my domain. Then again, if my domain didn't exist, maybe he'd just be the 'Underworld Guide' instead of the Stygian Boatman." he tangent finished as they approached a dark-cloaked figure, his hood held a purple glow showing eyes and a mouth.

Charon looked at the pair tilting his hood in seeming confusion, he held an oar against his shoulder standing next to the entrance of the largest boat, Having seen the boat before it was interesting to see the sail bearing that same oar, stylized of course. "Ah, Charon good to catch you before you set off, now I thought you would like to meet your fellow member of the 'gods who always wear cloaks' club. This is Omnissiah, he and Hades made a deal and I gave it some weight, I'm sure the next time you see Hades after your rounds he'll tell you about it."

At the greater tilt of the boatman's head, it seemed that Styx became aware of her behaviour. Which was rather out of keeping with her normal actions, depending on the person and if her opinion of them she could be vicious or somewhat congenial in her actions, in contrast, she was rather friendly. She cleared her throat, "Anyways, I think I should get back, good to meet you, feel free to visit." she sent a smile to the Lord of Mars and it seemed suggestive, though not in any obvious way. It was just a feeling. She nodded to the other underworld god as she spoke, "Charon."

As she somewhat abruptly turned and left, hopping into the river, both the Machine God and the son of Nyx looked at where she had entered before turning to the other. The primordial spoke, "Don't worry about it, as for the deal between myself and Hades, I trust your king shall inform you if he feels you should know, though I don't know why he wouldn't." a slight nod was the response he got. "I shall be leaving now, hopefully, Cerberus is far more docile this time." he turned to leave and head to the gates.

Not commenting on that last piece, instead, odd words that were not greek came from the boatman's mouth, "Careful, I don't know you, but I wouldn't anger Styx if I were you, especially if you've made a deal involving her." a surprise, not so much the meaning of the words themselves but more that he understood them, "Yeah, you seemed the type, few can understand me. I tend to have a good idea of who can. And as for what I just said, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out, you know, her behaviour makes it obvious she likes you or at least is interested in you. But she obviously doesn't know that you know. And that you haven't really returned her enthusiasm tells me you aren't very interested in return."

A rather awkward conversation if any were to ask The Lord with No Face, "I am far from an expert, but I've listened to enough to my brothers Hypnos and Thanatos to know that women don't like to be led on, even in the dream world, tends to result in bad things. Sometimes getting the latter involved when it actually happens, you catch my drift? Now obviously, for some reason, you've decided not to gently let her down, a bad idea, but your escape ship has yet to set sail if you aren't interested in her."

A sigh escaped the Omnissiah's throat, 'This is not where I expected this day to go.' "If I ever come back to the underworld, and I may have to, I shall do something approximating what you've just said. As for my reasons, I am not interested because I am too busy, and I just met her. By the time I figured it out she was well into talking to me. And there was not really a good time. The whole affair is beyond alien to me. And I am very…. I dislike the situation." 'I find it disturbing for some reason, at the idea of being in a relationship, no, not a relationship…'

Flashes and voices, one clear above the others, "Ever since I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me…" the flashes stopped. 'Flesh, something about flesh. What is it?' the question was left alone for now, he spoke to the god before him, "I shall take my leave, thank you for your advice."

Exiting the gates and pocket realm was easier than entering, now outside the sun was still overhead thought it was farther along, "That was a trip," a sigh, "I should probably go to Tritia before I make my way back to Dimitis." Thus he flew, a bit tired. 'Maybe I should get some food, I never had any that was offered by Nyx.'

AN: Let me know if I mess up pronouns for the Omnissiah like using they/them instead of he/him, we instead of I, or us instead of me. It isn't that big a deal considering they are technically three beings, but I feel that while incarnated they are much more together? Or at least more of the Omnissiah thus more singular, idk.

Also, did I overdo the interest on Styx's part? Don't worry, this isn't suddenly turning into a romance, I just figured this was an interesting route.

This is a note for me, the time and day is the afternoon on the sixth day. So about 2 days until the party on the eighth day.
