I do not own the Inheritance Cycle.
I combined a chapter of the story and didn't want to delete anything and screw up reviews... so you get this... maybe it will be helpful to someone. A lot of it my own notes, and I took out what spoilers I thought would ruin the future story.

The Forsworn or Wyrdfell
Morzan- the son of a poor trader and his wife. His mother died after childbirth, and his father (Maurgh) went missing when Morzan was at a young age (he never found out how). The lack of parental guidance enforced the young Morzan's life to include thieving, gangs, and a hand in the murder of a young patrician. After facing many struggles, a dark red dragon hatched for the boy and marked him as Dragon Rider. Morzan was then shipped off to Ilirea to train under the Rider Oromis and the dragon Gladr. There Morzan later met an eager, well bred, curious boy named Brom (who was bonded to Saphira). At first sight Morzan decided that he did not like Brom, for no reason other than pity dislike, though Brom seemed obvious of Morzan's ridicule and mockery.
After Morzan and his dragon grew, they met the fugitive Galbatorix and the fugitive convinced him leave the doors to Ilirea open so that he could steal a dragon hatchling. After this deed was done, Morzan left with the fugitive and keen to seek a revenge on the Riders, Morzan learned the forbidden dark magicks from a Shade. Several years later, when Galbatorix revealed himself to the world, Morzan stood faithfully by his side. Together they fought any Rider they met, recruited some into their service, founded the order known as the Forsworn, and destroyed the Dragon Riders and a number of dragons, including the dragon bonded to Brom, Saphira. They then descended on Ilirea and deposed King Angrenost, turning the Broddring Kingdom into the Empire. Morzan was granted a castle in the Spine, hidden away from the rest of the world.
Eighty years later, Morzan met a young woman named Selena, and he showed her a small kindness to gain her confidence. Later he enlisted her as his Black Hand after making her swear many oaths in the Ancient Language. To please her, and the King, they wed and after about two years, she became pregnant with his child. Because the other Forsworn might use Selena and the child against him, Morzan hid her in his castle, which he protected using powerful spells: the only other individual to know of this was Galbatorix. Morzan then became the only known one of the Thirteen Forsworn to have a child.
When the child, a girl that was named Muirgheal, was born, Morzan kept her and Selena separated, allowing Selena to visit her daughter occasionally. After another three years, when he was in a drunken rage, he threw his sword which hit Muirgheal, leaving the child with a large scar on her back. One day, after hearing word of his child existence outside his castle by an unknown individual, the King suggested that Morzan begin her to him for protection. Morzan ignored the King's advice for over a month until Selena disappeared, only then did he take the girl to the capital leaving behind with the whisper that the child had been killed, so to find out who the rat in his castle was, however he never found out who had leaked word of the girl.
When Morzan left to hunt down Hefring and retrieved the stolen dragon egg from him, he came face-to-face with Brom for the first time in several decades. He questioned Brom as to whether he was responsible for the disappearance of his Black Hand and they promptly dueled. Morzan lost and he and his dragon were killed. The last thing Morzan saw was Brom fleeing down the streets of Gil'ead with his sword, Zar'roc. (I think some of this is copy and paste from an online source)
