I honestly don't know what I'm doing with this chapter. I wanted to start Kasumi's training, but there are a few other things I needed to figure out. It doesn't help that I am starting this a few days after the last chapter because life got really busy (and Tears of the Kingdom and Star Rail are taking over my free time. Not apologizing). Let's see where this goes.

Chapter Begin

It was a beautiful morning in the Tendo Dojo. The gentle light of the morning sun tickled the eyes of the eldest Tendo daughter. She shifted slightly before she sat up. Her eyes drifted to the table by her room where a clock and a bookmarked journal rested. The clock read 6:00.

"Oh my!" Kasumi squeaked. She flew out of bed and within minutes she was dressed and running towards the kitchen. "Father will be so displeased if he doesn't get breakfast on time." She whispered as she rounded the corner into her kitchen. She stopped when she saw Ranma dressed in an apron, mixing a bowl of batter with various ingredients around. Kasumi vaguely noted that they weren't her usual pots and pans, nor did they match most of the ingredients she usually had. Kasumi halted in place as Ranma turned to her.

"Morning, Kasumi!" Ranma happily welcomed.

"You didn't have to make breakfast." Kasumi whispered. She gently approached to take over, but Ranma waved her off.

"I'm normally the one in charge of breakfast back at home, so it is not a big deal. It's not going to be a traditional breakfast, but I'm certain they'll like it. If not, they can go hungry or make their own food," Ranma stated. Kasumi frowned at Ranma.

"That's not very nice," Kasumi chided.

"Neither is refusing food that people are making for them," Ranma replied. "Something I've learned is that you can't please everyone. If we could, we wouldn't have conflict in the world."

"I guess I see your point," Kasumi stated hesitantly.

"Now, why don't you go take a quick bath. I'll have breakfast ready in about 30 minutes, so don't worry about it," Ranma suggested. "Based on how you looked, you could use it. Now shoo…" Ranma made playful shooing motions to follow up his statement. Kasumi giggled at Ranma's attitude.

"Alright. If I'm not out in the next 30 minutes, then please knock on everyone's door to tell them to wake up. Nabiki is not a morning person, so you may need to knock a little harder. Akane will probably leave for her jog," Kasumi told him as she left with a smile.

"Not a problem," Ranma replied. He hummed as he continued to work on the supper. In one pan, he was pouring the batter and making something pancake-like. In another, he was frying some eggs. Finally, the kettle was being heated up. In between pancakes, he was chopping up some ham, cheese, and vegetables. He vaguely heard Akane call out that she was going on a quick run. Soon, about 2 dozen pancakes and several decent sized bowls were being filled with eggs, peppers, onions, and cooked ham.

"Oh my. Did you make crepes?" Kasumi asked, stepping back into the kitchen. She looked notably less stressed than before.

"Yep. It's a favorite back home. One of my senseis, Bat Li, loves them," Ranma stated. "It's probably because it reminds him of his weapon of choice."

"Mr. Bat Li… He's the one who uses the fan? You moved so beautifully, but you defeated Father and Mr. Saotome easily," Kasumi noted.

"Bat Li's Bat Fist emphasizes beautiful movements, but it is built off of a dance," Ranma explained. "It uses graceful movements, but it's really difficult to learn. You might be a good fit for it. Now, isn't it time to get everyone for breakfast."

"Oh my, I'll be right back," Kasumi said. She left the room. Knocking could be faintly heard while Ranma prepared everything for it. Soon, movement could be heard, and Ranma could see that they were sitting at the table.

At the table, Kasumi was sitting down with her family. Akane had sat down with a very groggy Nabiki. Soun was at the head with Genma sitting next to him.

"Is something the matter, Kasumi?" Soun asked. Akane nodded as well while Nabiki just groggily rubbed her eyes. Kasumi blinked a few times before speaking.

"Oh no, Father. Ranma made breakfast, and I think it will be something Nabiki will like," Kasumi said. Nabiki seemed to perk up slightly, but otherwise, she was one step from falling back asleep.

"Breakfast is ready," Ranma called out. He was carrying a very large plate filled with the crepes wrapped in cones with the eggs, cheese, vegetables, and ham stuffed to the brim in one hand. In the other, he had six small plates. With a flourish, he set down the plates in front of each spot and the large plate in the center. "Crepes for all. If you excuse me for a second, I'll have some tea ready." Genma seemed to take offense to what Ranma was doing.

"Boy, you've gotten soft! Why are you wasting time cooking?" Genma screamed, jumping to his feet. Ranma looked at the bald man unimpressed.

"Because making food is a good skill to have. I found that meals I made tastes better," Ranma retorted. He left the room at this point.

"Why didn't you make breakfast, Kasumi?" Soun asked. Kasumi blushed when she was asked that. Kasumi had just opened her mouth when Ranma reentered.

"That would be my fault," Ranma interrupted with a tray of tea and teacups. "I gave Kasumi a very good book last night, and it seems like she was up a little bit late reading it. Now, please enjoy the crepes I made." Having said his piece, Ranma grabbed a few crepes and motioned for the others to grab some. Kasumi took this chance to get a few as well, and placed two in front of Nabiki. Genma and Soun seemed to hesitate but they eventually grabbed some as well with Genma going to grab double. He tried at least, but Ranma's hand blocked the attempt.

"Wait until everyone has a chance to eat first," Ranma said with a glare. "You can go without breakfast if you don't want to be polite." His threat and last night seemed to get Genma to relent slightly. Notably, Akane didn't make an attempt to get some.

"Well, I'm not eating that. I bet it tastes horrible," Akane shot back.

"It can't be any worse than your attempts at cooking," Nabiki groaned. Akane growled, but the tired girl just sat there with sleepy eyes. Her eyes shot open when a delightful smell drifted into the room. Ranma had poured a cup of tea and placed it in front of Nabiki.

"Please help yourself," Ranma stated before he started to dig into his meal. Kasumi tentatively took a bite.

"It's really good," Kasumi squealed. She began to eat at a more quick but still polite pace. With the cook eating, everyone began to dig in. Even Akane swallowed her pride and ate what was a few. Soon, everyone was finished eating, and the two fathers had retreated from the table and could be heard loudly proclaiming something unintelligible as they left the house. Kasumi noticed something.

"Akane, Nabiki, I'm sorry but I haven't had a chance to make a bento. I'll make certain to stop by during lunch later," Kasumi said.

"What?" Akane yelled. "You haven't forgotten to make a bento since you were sick almost two years ago. This is all your fault!" Her exclamation was met with a deadpan stare from Ranma. Nabiki shrugged.

"I already took responsibility for this morning. I'll even be helping out around the house to make certain that Kasumi has time to make the trip," Ranma stated. "Now, I do believe that you should be getting ready. It's 8:00."

"Shoot, I need to get going," Nabiki said. She hastily moved her dishes to the sink and took off. "I'll see you at lunch." Nabiki called out as she left.

"Bye Nabiki," Kasumi responded.

"Wait for me, Nabiki," Akane shouted as she raced after her.

"What are they in a rush for?" Ranma asked. The two of them had moved to the kitchen with Ranma cleaning the dishes.

"Oh, Nabiki has a before school activity, while Akane has to deal with all her suitors," Kasumi explained as she tidied up a few of the smaller messes.

"Suitors? With Akane and her temper?" Ranma asked. He was putting the bowls and cookware that he brought back in his pack.

"Now Ranma, Akana is a nice girl, but she is a bit of a violent maniac," Kasumi chided with a mischievous twinkle in her eye.

"Eh, I can't really judge people on their tastes," Ranma relented with a chuckle. He finished washing the last dish. "Now, how did you like Rageku's journal?" Kasumi slightly jumped at that.

"Well, I think it was really interesting. I never liked hurting, so a fighting style built around non-damaging attacks is perfect. Not to mention the possible medical applications," Kasumi's eyes were sparkling as she said it.

"Then I believe that it is now time to start your training," Ranma said. He started to rummage around the bag and pulled out a few more items.

"What will we be doing?" Kasumi asked. She tried to peak at them, but Ranma wouldn't show them.

"Through oneself and others, there is training," Ranma said. At Kasumi's confused look, Ranma clarified. "I believe the best way to train is to do so by adapting what works for yourself and others. For you specifically, I think these will be the best." Ranma proudly showed several cleaning items. A feather duster, a few rags, a mop, and the broom from yesterday were among the items.

"Cleaning?" Kasumi questioned.

"It was quite evident that you are the person who puts the most into the house. I would even go so far as to call you the master of cleaning," Ranma smirked at the blush of Kasumi. "But right now, you are lacking in the physical abilities necessary to start truly learning JyuKen. These will start to help you." Ranma held out the feather duster to Kasumi. She took the duster and almost dropped it immediately.

"Oh my! Is this one of your training tools?" Kasumi asked. With a bit of adjustment, Kasumi held the tool with a small amount of strain.

"Yep. We'll be developing your body while cleaning," Ranma continued. "We'll get as much done as possible for the first half, take a break to get the bentos to Nabiki and Akane, and then you can show me around Nerima. After dinner, I will start to show you some of the basics of Jellyfish Fist. Are you ready?"

"Yes," Kasumi nodded.

"Then let's begin," Ranma said. Together they each grabbed a tool and began getting to work.

*Beep, beep* An alarm blared through the family room that they were just finishing cleaning.

"Alright, here is a good place to stop," Ranma said, turning off the alarm. He was breathing a little heavier, but otherwise looked more like he finished a light jog.

"We're finally done!" Kasumi cried out. She collapsed on the floor with heaving breaths. "I haven't been this tired in years."

"But look at what we accomplished in two hours," Ranma pointed out. The floors, walls and even the ceiling were practically sparkling with how clean they were. If they were to look in the hallway or kitchen, they would find they shared the same condition as the family room.

"How are you not exhausted? Your tools were even heavier than mine," Kasumi asked.

"Ah, we haven't gotten to that point yet." Ranma took a thinking pose before he grabbed a pen and paper. "How familiar are you with the concept of ki?"

"I think I remember Father talking about this. Ki is the life force of every person, but martial arts allows the user to harness ki to boost strength, speed, and other factors," Kasumi explained.

"That is correct. However, depending on the martial arts, your ki can develop into multiple different types," Ranma explained. He drew several circles on the paper. "First, you have internal, pure ki. Most martial artists use this regardless of style unconsciously." He inserted the words in the smallest circle. "This is what is primarily used to boost physical abilities, but once you have access to it, your growth improves exponentially as well as you just becoming a much healthier person."

"Why did you stress internal?" Kasumi asked. Ranma smirked at her question.

"Good question. Ki is next to impossible to project outside of the body without some form of anchor. Even just projecting it as an aura can increase strength a lot because it improves the focus of power. The most common one is through a core emotion." In the second largest, Ranma wrote out emotional ki in the second smallest circle. "Emotional Ki users will anchor their ki to stick to an emotion allowing it to be projected outside of the body and more smoothly inside the body. This is a bit dangerous and unreliable though because the user has to keep feeling the emotion to access this ki."

"The second primary method is through an element." Ranma filled in five circles with Fire, Water, Earth, Metal, Wood, Electricity, and Wind. "This is much more difficult than emotional ki, but it can be more useful as well. The user shapes their ki to manipulate a specific element."

"The last is to attach an idea to ki. This is what Jyuken uses." Ranma filled the last circle with the word idea. "This is the hardest method to use because it means you are basically imprinting an idea into your body. Further, if you use the other two methods, it becomes extremely difficult to form this ki. This tends to be the strongest method though. GekiJyuKen, what you will be learning, focuses on a heart of justice which is why so many people won't ever unlock Geki."

"Geki?" Kasumi interjected.

"Geki, or Fierce Ki, is Ki with the idea of protection, adaptation, and justice placed in it. Very few people can access it because of the idea behind it, but once it is formed, it is as easy as breathing. Further, once you have control of it, you will notice your natural growth skyrocketing," Ranma explained, before he looked at the clock. "But that will have to wait. I believe we have something to make."

"Oh my! The bentos," Kasumi said. Kasumi seemed to forget her exhaustion as she rushed to the kitchen. Or she tried to before Ranma stopped her.

"Why don't you get washed up? I'll get the bento's taken care of," Ranma suggested.

"But…" Kasumi started with an almost whiny voice.

"Kasumi, I don't mean to be rude, but you are tired and covered in sweat. You've worked hard, so you deserve a quick break. You get stronger with rest," Ranma firmly told her. He kept a firm stare with Kasumi. It was held for a few seconds before Kasumi relented.

"OK…" She whined, slumping forward. Seeing Ranma's smirk, she seemed to slump even further, before she left to get cleaned.

"Now, let's get cooking," Ranma declared for himself. Soon the sound of sizzling food and chopping knives filled the kitchen.

"Thank you for making the bentos, Ranma," Kasumi said as they left the house. Ranma was carrying two bentos and his pack. "But why do you have your backpack with you?" Ranma shrugged.

"I have a few items in here that I don't trust being anywhere near Genma," Ranma explained. "Now, which way to the school?"

"We just follow this street before taking a turn at the main street. It's only about a 15 minute walk from home," Kasumi said.

"Must be nice," Ranma commented. "I had to take a 30 minute train ride to get to the town my school was in."

"Shouldn't you be in school right now?" Kasumi asked.

"Technically yes, but I've tested out of high school. I've actually graduated college with much struggle," Ranma casually stated.

"Oh my, you must be quite smart," Kasumi commented with a more focused look.

"Not really. I'm still learning, but Fu-sensei would quite literally stop me from training if I didn't get my homework done. It got so bad that I started to get things done early. Before I knew it, I was already done with high school as a 13 year-old. It was a shock for me when it became apparent. I did have to take some tests to prove that I finished high school, so there is that," Ranma finished.

"That does sound impressive. I don't think I could do that," Kasumi stated. She had placed a hand on her cheek and had a thoughtful look on her face.

"Maybe, maybe not. We will probably help you either go through schooling or training to get a job in SCRTC. You seemed pretty excited about the medical applications of the Jellyfish Fist. You want to go into the field of medicine?" Ranma asked.

"I'm surprised you noticed that," Kasumi said lowly. "But yes, I did want to become either a nurse or doctor. However, we didn't have the budget to send me to school. We truthfully are barely making enough money to maintain the house. We're lucky we've owned the property for decades or we may have lost it." A hand was gently placed on her shoulder.

"Well, you won't have to worry about that. SCRTC will take care of everything. We are a multinational sports company. With you being brought in personally to learn GekiJyuKen, you will have all expenses taken care of. We can probably arrange for funding for your home." Suddenly, Ranma was given a back breaking hug.

"Do you really mean it?" Kasumi squealed. Ranma was gasping as his face turned blue.

"Yes… We'll gladly…help," Ranma wheezed out. Kasumi quickly released Ranma who greedily took several breaths. "I'm alive!"

"I'm sorry!" Kasumi squeaked bashfully. She had retreated and seemed to be trying to hide her face with her hair. "It's just that I thought that I would not get the chance to follow my dream ever…" Any anger that Ranma had seemed to drain away. Instead, he looked very softly at Kasumi.

"It's not a problem. Now, where is the school? If we're much later, we will miss lunch," Ranma noted. He hopped onto a fence and began to comically look around, causing Kasumi to start to giggle.

"We're not that far. Just a little bit further," Kasumi laughed. The two started walking, though Ranma stayed on the fence. Suddenly, Ranma perked up.

"You mentioned that Akane had a lot of suitors right?" Ranma asked. Kasumi hesitantly nodded. "Then we best hurry. It sounds like a bunch of them are fighting."

"It's this way!" Kasumi said. With speed unlike her gentle looks, she blurred forward. Ranma easily followed while still staying on the fence. Soon, the two of them were at the entrance of the school, but they were completely blown away by the scene in front of them. Dozens of boys were fighting each other to get to a group of girls. Ranma recognized that leader of the girls as Akane as she frantically fended off several of the student's approaches.

"Akane will eat my lunch!" One boy shouted as he used his lunch box to hit two others.

"Never! She will have mine!" Another boy screamed. He was wielding a baseball bat to bash his way through the boys. It seemed to get exceedingly crazier as more boys started to swarm Akane.

"This is nuts!" Ranma exclaimed as he watched the carnage. "Did you know about this?" Kasumi could only shake her head wordlessly.

"I knew she was popular with boys, but I didn't realize that it was this insane," Kasumi said. She was surprised when Ranma handed her a cell phone.

"This is multiple people assaulting each other. We need the police here. Use that while I deescalate the situation. Tell them that Ranma sends his regards," Ranma said before he bolted towards the fight.

"Ranma wait!" Kasumi called out.

"Just do it! Shinnosuke-senpai will hear you out," Ranma stated. He faced the group and took a deep breath. "Everyone stop!" His roar reverberated through the crowd and around the school, actually reverberating the windows of the school from it. The silence was tangible as everyone turned to look at Ranma. "Can someone explain to me why we have a bunch of people trying to beat each other up?" Again, silence followed. "Akane, can you explain?" Akane opened her mouth before a projectile was launched towards Ranma. Ranma casually flicked it away, revealing a rose.

"HALT Fiend! Who are you to speak so familiar with the Fierce Beauty that is Akane?" An arrogant voice called out. A teenage boy who was maybe an inch taller than Ranma. He was dressed in a kendo uniform with a bokken in his hand. Ranma went to answer, but he was interrupted. "But it is customary to introduce oneself first. I am Captain of the Kendo Club, Senior, Kuno, the Blue Thunder!" Thunder followed this explanation to the half-lidded eyes of Ranma. He sighed at the bluster of the boy.

"I am Ranma Hidehira. I am just here to help Kasumi deliver a bento to her sisters," Ranma casually stated. "After that, I have no relation to Akane outside of being a friend of Kasumi. Now, explain to me why you all were attacking each other and innocent girls." Ranma demanded with some force in his voice.

"That's because Kuno declared that anyone who wants to date Akane has to beat her in a fight or he will take issue with it," one of the girls beside Akane hesitantly said.

"Sayuri! This was my problem," Akane shouted angrily.

"No! We've watched it for too long, and your stupid pride has stopped us from helping you. Stupid Kuno declared to the whole school that, and they took it seriously. It's only because he is the non-existent principal's son and super rich that nobody does anything!" The other girl shouted.

"I see," Ranma nodded, ignoring Akane's angry face. "What do you have to say for yourself Kuno!" Kuno seemed unaffected by the insults

"That is true. Only one who is able to stand at the level of Akane Tendo is worthy to court her. As the strongest in this school, it must be me," Kuno proudly proclaimed.

"Who are you to proclaim this!" Ranma angrily stated. "You aren't her father, nor do you have any authority to decide who dates who!" Ranma quickly leaned back to avoid a slash from Kuno's bokken.

"Silence fiend! I will not be swayed by your twisted words. You must be some foul sorcerer who is working to keep me away from my love!" Kuno screeched. "I strike!" He shouted, swinging his bokken wildly but stiffly at Ranma. Ranma casually weaved around all of the strikes. Around Ranma, the other boys seemed to gain their energy back when they saw the two strongest were fighting. They went back to fighting, or tried to. As Ranma dodged, he kept striking other boys, disabling them. He had to further duck when Akane tried to sucker punch the back of his head.

"What did you do that for!" Ranma yelled, turning to Akane. Without looking, he grabbed Kuno's bokken mid-swing and wrenched it from the boy's hand. He casually tossed it away from everyone causing Kuno to run after it. He then caught the second strike of Akane and twisted her arm around her body.

"You stupid boy! I had everything under control before you decided to butt in!" Akane screamed as she struggled against the grip.

"That is enough!" Kasumi's voice stopped everyone including Kuno who paused in his running. She stood there with a blue aura surrounding her. "You all should be ashamed of yourself!" Her disappointed tone and aura seemed to get through most of the boys who put away their weapons or lowered their fists. Ranma also released Akane, causing her to fall to the ground. "And you, what gives you the right to proclaim who Akane dates!" She pointed at Kuno.

"It is my divine right as a samurai on who dates who!" Kuno loudly proclaimed. At this moment, a new bokken was tossed to Kuno. He caught it and pointed it at Kasumi. "Only someone who can stand on equal grounds to the fierce tiger Akane Tendo is worthy to date her!" Behind him, Akane moved to intercept Kuno, but was stopped by Ranma.

"What are you doing? Kasumi can't fight Kuno!" Akane tried to scream. She seemed oblivious to Kasumi's aura that she was still projecting.

"Kasumi is a lot more capable than you give her credit," Ranma lowly stated. "If she needs help, I'll let you help, but until then, stay here."

"You must be with the sorcerer!" Kuno said, pulling the false blade into the air. Kasumi stepped into the strike with a fierce glare.

"Geki Waza Sting Sting Tap!" Kasumi called out as she tapped Kuno's forehead. "Akane is my sister, and I will never accept anyone who thinks forcing her to date her is alright!" Kasumi announced it to the whole school. Any stragglers scrambled away. They increased their speed as Kuno fell backward still as a statue.

"What was that?" Akane asked. She was stunned as she saw her sister take out someone who she struggled with sometimes.

"Not your business," Ranma casually stated. From somewhere, he pulled out some rope and tied up Kuno and a few of the other people who got tied up. "Now, these should help us round up all the perpetrators." He ended up with about 15 boys tied up with Kuno at the center.

"Why would you do that?" Akane demanded. "I had that! I was doing just fine until you interfered!" Akane had gotten right up to Ranma and grabbed the collar of his shirt. She tried to pull him down to eye level, but Ranma didn't budge.

"Akane! That is enough!" Kasumi suddenly shouted. Akane stumbled backwards as if she were struck. "I am sorely disappointed in you. We will be having words about your actions."

"But Ranma was butting into my fight!" Akane retorted. She yelped as Kasumi grabbed her ear.

"No, he did not. Ranma was deescalating the situation. He stopped the fight when it wasn't necessary. You tried to attack him while he was fighting. One was to help, the other was to vent your anger," Kasumi rebuked. Akane flinched in her sister's grip. The massive roar of an engine followed by sirens cut through the students. A red, stylized car whipped around the corner and parked at the front entrance. Kasumi released Akane as she saw the officer in the suit step out.

"Shinnosuke-sempai, you are just in time!" Ranma waved to the man as he finished tying up the boys. "I'm glad that you could get here so fast."

"The young lady sounded quite frantic when she told me about this. Can't you stay out of trouble for one week," the man grumbled. Ranma smirked as he stepped beside Kasumi. Shinnosuke seemed to slump forward as he looked at Ranma's face.

"I don't go looking for trouble. Trouble finds me," Ranma waved off. "Now, where are my manners. The beautiful lady next to me is Kasumi Tendo, who is showing me around Nerima. By her, is the main victim of this whole situation, Akane Tendo. "

"Alright, explain everything to me, and don't leave anything out," Shinnosuke demanded.

*One explanation later*

"This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard, even more so than when I had to arrest you, Ranma," Shinnosuke grunted, as he looked at all the students, both involved and others. "We'll need to investigate everyone to see who is responsible. I'll have to get contact information for just about everyone. Ranma, Kasumi Tendo, I'll be contacting you later to get your side of the story, but first, I believe I need to get the ringleader. Ms. Akane Tendo, please stay here," Shinnosuke scowled as he walked towards the bound Kuno. Ranma winced at the look.

"OK. Let's get you home. When Shinnosuke is like that, you want to clear out. He knows how to contact us so let's go," Ranma said, gently pushing Kasumi out of the school.

"But what about Akane?" Kasumi asked, looking back at her silent sister.

"Shinnosuke is one of the best fighters I know. He can handle just about anything. You won't need to worry about anything, and I don't want to get arrested again," Ranma pushed.

"You've been what!" Kasumi shouted.

"I'll explain later. In the meantime, let's go see some things in Nerima. When we get back to the dojo, we'll have to talk about what you did to Kuno," Ranma smiled as he said that. "Congratulations, Kasumi. You unlocked your Geki! If something catches your eye, it will be my treat." Kasumi stumbled at Ranma's words.

Chapter End

Omake: Diary of Rageku: Entry 2

There is a basic technique of my style. It is called the Sting Sting Tap. It works by channeling my Ki into specific parts of my opponent's body. It has a paralyzing effect on my opponents. Funnily, I created it accidentally when I got really mad about something Maku said. I've found that if I focus on specific parts of the body, it can have specific effects.

Sha-Fu was kind enough to help me test it. Firstly, striking the head causes both severe dizziness as well as slowed movements for the whole body. Striking between the shoulders in the spine causes lower body paralysis. Attacking joints causes them to lock up and renders the limbs useless. We're still experimenting with the other aspects.

During testing, we did find that if we focus Ki as a guard or at the affected area, it will undo the effect. However, it needs to be fairly precise or a large amount of brute force. Further, it becomes more difficult because according to Sha-Fu, my Ki acts as a foreign parasite that uses the victim's Ki to strengthen itself.

Omake: Ranma's been what?

Months later, Kasumi was cleaning up the main workout room of the room with Master Sha-Fu, Ran, Retsu, Jan, and Miki. She knew that Ranma was going to be busy looking after some of the classes. She blinked as she remembered something Ranma told her.

"Master, Ranma told me that he was arrested a few months ago. What is that about?" Kasumi asked the cat who was drinking some tea. Jan and the others looked up.

"I actually do not know," Sha-Fu said, taking a sip of his tea. "He keeps changing the story!"

"I know! Ranma told me that he defrauded a major company!" Restu said.

"He told me he robbed a bank with nothing but a playing card!" Ran complained.

"No! Ranma blew up a mountain with one punch!" Jan countered.

"Ranma told me he blew a hole in the ozone layer," Kasumi continued.

"Ranma told me, and I quote, "I killed a man… with this thumb!"" Miki said, taking a deeper, accented voice and holding her thumb out proudly. At everyone's look, Miki just motioned. "What? That's how he told me."

"That isn't the case at all!" Ken shouted. He burst into the room with a plate of food. "He took down some Yakuza but was mistaken for a member."

"That definitely didn't happen!" The original trio of the GekiRangers were soon arguing with the last member. Kasumi, Sha-Fu and Miki took this opportunity to leave the room. Outside, the trio found Ranma and Gou both snickering to themselves as they listened to the fighting in the other room.

"Ah Ranma, could you please explain exactly how you got arrested. I feel like the four of them won't stop fighting unless you tell them," Sha-Fu asked.

"Well, this has gone on long enough. If you must know, I was over in Tokyo practicing some gymnastics to better use my GekiClaws. I ended up attracting the attention of a Roidmude and took it down. Unfortunately, it took up my form, and I got mistaken for the Roidmude," Ranma replied. Gou added to it by showing them a picture of Ranma and a doppelganger. The doppelganger was hogtied in a bundle of ribbon. "From there it was a hilarious series of shenanigans that eventually got my name cleared. Gou was there to watch over and record any screw ups." Gou flashed a cheeky smile.

"That was easier than expected," Miki commented. "I thought that you would be fighting this more."

"That's because no one will ever believe you," Gou smirked as he deleted the picture. The two young men laughed at the scandalous looks of the three. "Good luck calming those four down." Having said their piece, they left.

"Oh my."

I'm letting Kasumi feel anger, enjoyment, and other strong emotions. It helps that Kasumi doesn't know the full extent of the school's infatuation with Akane. Hence, I felt it was the perfect way to get Kasumi to awaken Geki. I know Kasumi's anger was more shown, but you can and are often angry at injustices, and Kasumi seeing Ranma being attacked made her act to stop the violence and protect everyone from themselves. I struggled writing Kuno because he is stupid, and I hate writing stupid.

I'm still trying to figure out Kasumi's pre-battle phase. I decided on Gentle Force to demonstrate Kasumi's style as one who will use the least amount of force necessary, but it should be noted that does not mean that it will be weak strikes. Maybe "Gentleness, I push back against the forces of the world. Gentle Force, Geki…" (Suggestions for a name are welcome. I'm stumped there).

I'm taking a bit of a different approach to Ki because Geki, Rinki, and the ki in Ranma are all very different from origin. Ranma's ki seems to be based entirely on emotions with few exceptions, while Geki is based on the idea of justice. I am however making it shown that unconsciously or not, idea ki multiplies the capabilities of the user while emotional ki is additive. Rinki is a bit of both. You'll see in a few chapters what I really mean.

I honestly didn't plan for Kuno (it's why it took so long). This was a happy coincidence. However, Ranma is someone who was raised in the real world (or as close with GekiRangers), so he is familiar with and will use the police to his advantage. Considering the fact that it is literally assault, I'm not downplaying it. I don't understand why this never happens in other works. Props if you recognize the reference (though time period is technically incorrect. I don't care). One of my favorites right there.
