So here I have a scene that I've been planning for quite sometime that both A, highlights Bill and Ichabod's friedship demonstrating platonic friendship between humans and Humanimals (Because at the moment Bill's relationship with his human girlfriend is...Not so great) and B, demonstrates why Humanimals are not great to stand in for any human minority because of what Humanimals are in their story, because saying to a minority 'You're a lot like the Majority' would probobly be pretty offensive but to say to a Humanimal 'You're very much like a human' is essentually the Humanimals' 'Quest' what they've been created to do is to find a way to reconile 'the wisdom of the animals with the learning of men' as it was brillantly phrased in The Chronicles of Prydain

So Don was educated by Edward in how to be a 'Proper' Humanimal slave, one thing he had a surprising amount of difficulty with when he was told to bow, was that he had to do it 'Western-style' that is to 'bow and scrape' his usual Eastern-style of bowing would immediately come off as unusual and would be cause of suspition it was amazingly hard to get his regular style of bowing out of his muscle memory.

At the end many long days of training, Don sat on the bed while Belladonna cooled him off with soft puffs of her frost breath.

"I've realized something..." Don said said quietly

"Hmm?" Belladonna cocked her head

"It really is mostly psychological..." Don said "...The control the Humans have over the Humanimals...Yes there is the killing those who disobey but it's also the constant insulting and belittling after just a few days of listening to it, I realize it's a struggle not to take it to heart."

Belladonna became quiet, she knew one of the reasons she and her herd siblings were so brave and confident was because they escaped the Slave Farm before they were sold and thus never completed their slave training, she and her adopted siblings were truly unique among the Humanimals because they had been specially groomed for the purpose of becoming Heroes of the Humanimals.

"It is hard..." Belladonna sighed "...But one thing that keeps us feeling hopeful is the fact we know we have community that we feel love and frienship where the Wrangler Humans deleted those feelings out of their brains because they consider them 'Weaknesses' for the Humans that got their brains restored after the Humanimal Civil Rights Movement that caused the Federation/Wrangler Split you can still see some awkwardness in them like their brains will never full recover...

Don's hand reached out her's

"I want to Dream-Share tonight..." Don said "...Being in your mind helps me understand how one can withstand these things..."

So the two of them laid down with their foreheads touching so they could share a dream...

Meanwhile, in a meadow, Ichabod and Bill lay in the grass looking at the stars, seems even when you you in space among the stars, its hard to be comfortable when you're in the cold, dark, frighting world of space protected only by a metal tube and really still the best way to enjoy the majesty of the cosmos is from warm comfort of being on a planet.

The two were disscussing how this was probobly their most dangerous mission yet and reflecting on all that had come before.

"It's strange..." Ichabod said "...How when we first met, you absolutely hated me because you thought humans and Humanimals could never be friends and now I think you're my closest friend in the entire Fellowship crew."

"Yeah..." The Longhorn Bull sighed, looking back he realized how idiotic his feelings were he was supposdly fighting for equality between Humans and Humanimals yet he felt Humans and Humanimals could never be friends so what exactly was he imagining? A world where the Humanimals live in totally segregated communities where they were 'seperate but equal?' Bill sometimes wondered if one of the reasons he had been so Anti-Human before was because he was a Domesticated Humanimal and Humanimals derived from Domestic Animals were sometimes viewed with suspition Wild Humanimals fearing that deep down they would be loyal to the Humans so Bill was over-compensating to prove his loyalty as Shakespere would put it 'He protested too much'

"Sometimes..." Ichabod said as he continued musing about his friendship with the Bull-Boy "...I think to myself, aside from Marzipan, of all the Humanimals I know, you're the most human..."

That cause a bit of a startled jump in Bill and he sat up and Ichabod realized what he just said could be seen as very offensive.

"I'm sorry!'Ichabod said quickly " I didn't mean..."

"Don't apoligize..." Bill said "...Because you're right..." The Bull-Boy got up and walked a few paces away "...This is something we Humanimals have been struggling with for a while, the fact that everything good about us, what what the Humans added to us when they transformed us into Creatures more like themselves, for a while we Humanimals tried to claim that we were better than Humans because of what we got from out Animals Sides, our 'Animality' rather than our 'Humanity' but more and more we can no longer deny that that's bunk the reason the Wranglers are such jerks is because they removed those Human Qualities from themselves, their 'Basic Human Decentcy' while we were allowed to keep our's because we needed to fucntion because we were one's doing the actual work."

Ichabod got up and walked over to Bill "My Mother was a human..." Bill sighed "...So what you said about me being the most human...It gets me worried...That it isn't something wrong with me...Rather something's wrong with the rest of my People..."

And there is some omainous foreshadowing also with Ichabod saying Marzipan is also the most human is because she's Mizzeran and Mizzer Humanimals have been living like normal Humans for five thousand years so they seem like normal humans
