@EnderReaper12, i accept your apology; everyone has had one of those days. I didn't mean to offend you and I had no intention of "playing" or clickbaiting you or anyone. For clarification, this is still MG2021, but with a few upgrades and weapons similar to Kiryu and with the Kiryu codename. Think of it as a sort of Monsterverse version of Kiryu. As a Godzilla fan, I did this as a way of giving tribute to the older movies, and I don't regret my decision.
The path through the sea was layered with thick fog, yet, much to Hayley's amazement, Bakunawa knew where he was going. The twins also showed no signs of worry as the Titan cut his way through the water, all the while staying above the waves to allow his human passengers to breathe.
However, it was taking a while, and Hayley began to grow more and more worried, what if something already happened to Boy?
"We're here" Miana suddenly said. Just then, the fog cleared to reveal a beautiful island, dotted with trees and cliffs. It was all one beautiful grouping of greens and browns. Hayley marveled at the sight as Bakunawa made landfall, allowing her and the twins to disembark.
"Where is she?" Hayley asked.
Maina replied, "Mosura waits for us in the mountain, but there is still one more obstacle we must face before we reach it."
Hayley shrugged before following the Twins through the jungle, getting here wasn't so bad; what could possibly be next. Just as they entered a clearing, a massive bellowing was heard before another Titan landed in front of them, this one bipedal and sort of resembling a lion-lizard hybrid creature, like the ones seen in ancient Japanese art. A sort of golden crown rested on its head as it eyed the three travelers.
Hayley gasped in shock, only for the Twins to restrain her from running away. "Hold your ground. King Caesar does not take well to fear."
Hayley had to gulp down her fear as King Caesar leaned in closer, looking them over. He seemed to overlook the Twins entirely before making eye contact with Hayley for what seemed like forever. Hayley had no choice but to look back, and saw an intense fire in the Titan's eyes. Suddenly, King Caesar seemed to nod to them before turning away, leaving the path to the village wide open.
"Was that the obstacle?" Hayley asked, breathing a sigh of relief.
The Twins nodded, "King Caesar is the gatekeeper of the Titans' home, but when Mothra nears her emergence, he comes here to protect her until she fully awakens."
Hayley was amazed, "He...protects her?"
"He is one of the few who understands that Mothra's power is able to heal and protect the world, and wishes to see that power persevere."
"I had no idea that the Titans were even that smart."
Miana chuckled. "There's a lot you don't know of them. Perhaps a little lesson is required."
The Twins the proceeded to lead Hayley through the native village. It was a quiet, peaceful place, like something Hayley would see out of her schoolbooks. As she passed by, the villagers, all having some form of white tattoos on their skin like the Twins, smiled and waved at her, despite having never seen her before. Some were seen putting up colorful decorations around the village, excitedly talking amongst themselves.
"Mothra is a giver of peace"the Twins explained, "A gift these people have well received. Right now, we are preparing to celebrate Mothra's emergence."
They then arrived at a cavern built into the cliff at the far end of the village. Grabbing a torch before walking in, Hayley could see hundreds of tribal paintings, all depicting various Titans as well as people worshipping or working with them. A massive painting dominated one of the walls showing three Titans all surrounded by both people and Titans bowing to them: a giant gorilla, a lizard with spikes running down its back, and what seemed like a giant turtle with tusks.
The painting next to this one, however, disturbed Hayley greatly as it showed a creature attacking a small village, a creature that resembled Acid Quill.
Maina approached her, carrying a bowl of a red liquid. Dipping her fingers in, she then reached out to Hayley's face. "You will need this before you can go further."
Hayley, though hesitant, allowed Maina to pain two lines on her cheeks with the red paint. As soon as she was done, Hayley suddenly felt a new surge of energy, and the paintings seemed more vibrant.
"What is this stuff?" She asked.
"It will help clear your mind" Miana explained, "So you will be able to approach Mothra without fear."
The Twins led Hayley further down the cave before she asked about the paintings. There was a moment of silence before the Twins spoke. "They show our history." They then began their story, and Hayley could almost see it panning out in front of her through the paintings.
"Eons ago, our people lived in harmony with the Titans. To us, they were gods, here to watch over us. But then, the invaders appeared."
Hayley knew they were referring to the kaiju as they continued, "The invaders brought an time of destruction to the planet, murdering who they pleased at their master's bidding."
"Their master?" Hayley asked. She assumed they meant the Precursors, but she wanted to be sure.
The Twins' faces grew dark. "They were sent by the ones you call Precursors, but there was one that was considered the Alpha among them. A three-headed beast of destruction whose name we dare not utter here. He was not of the Precursors, but he too had his sights set on our world, and forced the Invaders under his will."
Hayley grew fearful to think there was a creature with that kind of power. Could that be the beast she saw in her dream?
The Twins continued. "We were powerless against them, but the Titans were able to drive them back, their power proving deadly against the Invaders, and Mothra sealed the three headed one in ice. Mothra brought us to this island in the aftermath of the fighting to keep us safe, and we revere her to this day."
"What about those three that everyone seemed to bow to?" Hayley asked.
"They are the three most powerful Titans on this planet. You may recognize two of them as Godzilla and Kong. The third is more mysterious, and his name remains forgotten to all but Mothra herself." They were all Alphas, though they did often fight for dominance over the other before the Invaders arrived."
Suddenly, the tunnel opened up to the outside, and as they stepped out, Hayley saw a massive spring with a waterfall feeding into it. Flashes of blue energy emitted from the waterfall, outlining a giant cocoon within.
Hayley marveled at the sight, noticing how the cocoon seemed to give an air of divinity to the place. Hayley found herself feeling truly at peace here.
"Is that her?" she gasped.
The Twins nodded. "She waits to emerge. However, we can still speak with her."
"But, is she's just a cocoon, then how-?"
"She has lived many lives. Birth, life, death, and then rebirth. Come. Meet her for yourself."
Hayley nervously stepped into the water after them; thankfully, it was only waist high. However, as she approached the cocoon, she became more nervous and in awe; finally, she would meet Mothra at last. She only hoped she wasn't too late.
...
The sort to an elevator opened as Shane walked in to the hideout of the Kaiju sisters. He was greeted by the leader of the clan, her mask more decorated than the others to show her leadership.
"We're delighted you've come." She said.
Shane growled in annoyance. "Whatever. This better be worth my time."
The Kaiju Sister leader motioned for Shane to follow her, leading him through a maze of tunnels, some opening up to labs filled with kaiju body parts and machines. Shane wrinkled his nose at the smell.
The Kaiju Sister leader began to explain, "As you know, we have begun the work of assimilating the Kaiju into our world, mostly through the technology we were able to attain before the Black started, hybridizing monster with machine."
"Really?" Shane sarcastically asked, "Didn't realize that."
"Our attempts have been met with varying success, I will admit. However, we are on the verge of our greatest creation yet, but we still need one more piece. That is where you come in."
"As long as you plan on paying me." Shane remarked, "What project?"
To show him, the Kaiju Sister led him to a control room that showed to also be a viewing area, with a large window showing the interior of a massive hangar, bigger than anything Shane had ever seen. He marveled at the size as the Sister leader spoke a few commands to the ones sitting at the controls.
Suddenly, the grinding and whirring of giant machinery could be heard as the floor of the hangar opened up, a lift raising something up through the opening.
The Kaiju Sister leader raised her hands in praise as she declared, "Years of testing and waiting have be led to this creation, and now, our true savior will soon be reborn!"
The object lifted out was a gigantic Titan, lying dormant. Golden scales made up its skin, though the body, both tails, and wings were seemingly made of robotic armor. Shane then noticed the head and gasped in recognition, or rather, he saw the heads. Three, serpentine heads sprouted from the torso, though the center one seemed entirely robotic. Each neck ended in a draconian head that Shane recognized all to well.
"Jesus..." he gasped, "That's-?!"
The Kaiju Sister nodded, "King Ghidorah slumbers. It's taken years for him to regrow himself, but now we've sped up the process. The only thing we need to complete his awakening is a certain mind to bond with the center head. We need the Kaiju Messiah."
She then showed Shane a picture of Boy, explaining how the Boy was also part Kaiju.
Shane scoffed, "I remember this kid, so I know where to find him; I've been tracking him along with the kids he went with. Problem is, I'm gonna need some extra firepower; he's in Monarch."
The sister stroked her chin. "I think we may have something to help you with that. Bring him here, and your payments will be more than substantial."
Shane nodded. "Deal then."
He was then directed to where the Sisters would supply him with mechs of their own that they had been preparing to launch.
"One more thing" Shane asked as he turned to leave, "I know this kid is part kaiju, but why him exactly?"
The Sister leader got a wicked gleam in her eyes from under her mask, "Let's just say he and Ghidorah have...much in common."
Ok, so I wanted to give Mothra a sort of divinity to her, so let me know if I succeeded or not with that. For those of you questioning about the "turtle with tusks", I know he's not technically a Togo Kaiju, but he did have an Easter egg reference in Pacific Rim: Uprising, so it would be interesting to see that one actually show up.
