So bit of backstory here when YouTuber Brutalmoose streamed himself playing I Spy Fantasy based on the I Spy books I'm pretty sure I had seen the I Spy books but they had never interested me I always preferred books with drawn illistrations and you know and actual story and in particular the early ones were drequently just looking for objects in like a pile, I much preferred the Where's Waldo books but after that let's play where the three Fantasy Worlds the player explores are an Alien Plnaet, Under the Sea and a Fantasy Sand Castle (All with the framing device of a Young Boy's Bedroom implying all these fantasy worlds are just a kid have imaginary adventures) that was what sparked the creation of more Mizzer Humanimals beyond Marzipan and those who were rescued from Castle Vortex to expand and fill in the gaps also these Humanimals who had been living like 20th century humans for five thousand years were just more interesting than the Humanimals who were born into slavery, the I Spy Spooky Mansion Game became the base for Beulah's Arc and really shows before the Mystery Tapes the choices for protanganist's species was very random compared to now where Species Stereotypes heavily factor into the theme of the story (Which does mean obscure species have a very low chance of becoming protaganists)

"And then..." Beulah said "...After a few months of working at the mine, summer turned to fall I think because the mine was so far north and I'm a bug native Sub-Saharan Africa not exactly adapted for cold climates I caught a cold,"

The few member of the Fellowship Crew who had decided to come to the Treehouse all winced, they knew what that normally meant, at their absolute harshest around three thousand years ago during the age when most of the planets Humans have colonized were being found and settled it had been decreed that a Humanimal who sneezed four times or vomited once were to be taken to the slaughterhouses, don't give them Medical attention that might make them think they were people! They could always make more from ordinary animals...Well after a few thousand years of that the Wrangler Empire now discovered there was now a shortage of ordinary animals to make Humanimals from and going through Humanimals like tissue paper resulted in a slave shortage the invasion of Mizzer that only provided new slaves for two planets Viola Strierra and Alderbaren was putting a band-aid on a gaping wound, and the Wranglers were constantly invading Federation Space to kidnap Humanimals or if they could get away with it, ordinary animals who were now being gaurded like treasures by the Federation Planets.

Either way the slave shortage had forced the Wrangler Empire to 'loosen up' a bit now it was 'If they were damaged to severly for 'easy repair' that they were slaughtered and if one was a particurally important or prized slave of important person then 'exceptions' could be made however Beulah was simply a common miner, not really important enough to spend the expense of cold medicine on and she was...A Bug and not a particurally glamourous one at that, fortunatly for Beulah what was supposed to be her last night before she was slaughtered was the Night of the Ancient Earth Holiday of Halloween, most Wranglers did not celebrate the Old Earth Holidays but the Humanimals had found out about them and some tried to celebrate them in their own ways and in this area, their was a magical thing that happened in the surrounding country on this night, a strange and spooky mansion would appear after the sun set! Legend was any Humanimal who entered the house and survied whatever went on in there would be granted freedom and sent to a safe haven only a few times had a Humanimal been bold enough to try and eyewittnesses said that as the sun began to rise they saw what looked like a shoot star rising INTO the sky from above!

"There's a force field around the mansion..." Beulah said "...So flying creatures like myself can't fly over the fence and land in the yard, you must go to the front gate so you can sign your name into the guest book this is important because your name gets intergrated into a few of the riddles and that's all there is to it, riddles and games all night long with this skeleton that speaks entirely in rhyme, I say 'speak' but his...Her? Kind of couldn't tell jaws never move."

"Just play riddles and games all night in exchange for freedom?" Edward Nygma asked "I'm assuming it's because no Humanimal is able to come back to tell what their experience was that so few Humanimals dare to take the risk, because if I were a Humanimal and I knew what it was, I think I would break free as soon as I could and just park myself there waiting for Halloween!"

"The fear of the unknown can be a very powerful deterrent," Jonathan nodded as he took another sip of tea "I'm not sure if the intent of sending the Humanimals to this wild planetoid where one has little chance of escaping on their own is a deliberate means of keeping the secret from getting out, so only a few will dare to try otherwise if all the Humanimals knew how safe it actually was there would probably be a line to get into the Mansion which would very likely run a risk of the Wranglers discovering it."

"That's probably the case." Beulah sighed "Or...It's just this Planetoid being the only other place in this Solar Solar System capable of supporting life was as far as the magic could take us, it may be the later case because while the Humanimals who came before me were free, they only had a short time to enjoy it, the accounts I read were from mammals, the last Humanimal who came before me was an Arctic Wolf and in only a few years the fungus gave them mange like symtoms and they succumbed, if you notice that herd of large animals out in the swamp to the distance, look very much like dinosaurs...

The Alien Animals did kind of vaguely look like Hadrosaur Dinosaurs except they droopy trunks for noses like they were wearing boots on their faces...

"Once I got here my cold instantly cleared up..." Beulah said "...Further lending credence to my belief it was the cold climate that was making me ill..." Suddenly Beulah's anntenae drooped she seemed caught in a sudden bout of somberness.

"Something wrong Beulah?" Marzipan asked

Beulah's antenae perked up "Oh! Don't worry it was just a passing thought," Beulah said quickly, but Jonathan and Leonardo and Donatello could tell by her quick dismissal that it was something that really bothered her and she didn't feel safe telling these people she had just met yet.

"Somethings I've realized about the Mansion in hindsight, or possibly...Hindsmell...Because looking back I realized I was frequently smelling plastic particurally around the skeleton, things in the manion looked more like toys than real things and I realized things often felt like plastic figurines...I think the Skeleton was actually a human sized plastic skeleton doll that had come to life and the Spooky Mansion was a giant spooky themed dollhouse! That made it a lot less scary in my mind that they were living toys rather than living dead."

"Obviously someone has never watched the Chucky series..." Mikey giggled

This was hinted at in a Mizzer Humanimal story The Tale of Shale where Shale smelling plastic smell finds comfort that the Skeleton seems to being an animated toy rather than actual animated dead kind of just leaning into the fact that the I Spy scenes are made with little toys and the whole thing is probably fairy magic because magical beings bound by magical rules can't just give out boons for nothing their obligated to at least make them work for it, even if the work is just playing riddles and games all night. Really it is a very simple test of bravery for the Humanimals do be able to brave things that look scary but they are never in any actual danger kind of shows that most Humanimals have become very cowardly
