Number four Privet drive

Dumbledore stepped out of the Floo network at Mrs. Figg's home. After he felt the blood wards fail, he knew he needed to get to Harry as fast as possible. Behind him, the fireplace lit up again with Moody, Shacklebolt, Lupin, and Black following him.

"This one insisted on coming with us." Moody pointed to Black.

"We will discuss that later," Dumbledore said as he took out his Deluminator. The street lights vanished into the strange device as the group walked to Number four Privet Drive.

Moody told them to stop when they arrived at the block across the house. "It looks like Figg was right. I see three girls in the house with Harry. Two in the living room, and one is upstairs with Potter." Moody's eyes focused on movement in the house. "Nope, coming down with him."

Kingsley stepped forward. "Let's go say hello." He cast the unlocking charm before anyone could stop him. Walking inside, the man was thrown down by a powerful charm that exploded into a twister of red petals. Kingsley let out a great grunt and landed on the floor.

Moody barked at his fallen comrade. "Kingsley, you fool! What have I told you about CONSTANT VIGILANCE?! We have no information about these girls and you go bursting in. What are they teaching you at the academy?"

"Why didn't you warn me then?" Kingsley quipped. Luckily for him, nothing else was damaged besides his hindquarters and his pride.

"How will you learn if you don't go and get yourself attacked once in a while? Where did Black go?"

Before anyone could answer, Dursleys came out to see what was going on. Vernon was being supported by his wife, who glared at her guests. "Oh, it's you."

Ever the gentleman, Dumbledore ignored her obvious sneer. "Good evening Petunia. Might you tell us what happened here? Or where Harry went off to?"

Vernon tersely answered. "If you're here for the boy, just leave us normal people alone and you can have him."

"My sister's brat attracted those monsters," Petunia explained. "and they attacked my boy! So, for all I care, he can get lost. And your kind can keep him because he is not welcome here anymore."

Dumbledore tried to reason with Harry's irate aunt. "Now Petunia, Harry is still your-"

But Petunia refused to listen anymore. ''No no!" She screeched. "It was thanks to that poison you call magic that that filth took my sister away and it nearly took my son. So no more! It won't be allowed in this house! If he wants to live here again that poison better is gone!"

Dumbledore thought of the prophecy. "Sadly, that can't happen Petunia. This world still needs him with magic."

Vernon shook his head sadly. "We tried to beat it out of him but-"

Kingsley instantly went into Auror mode. "Did you just say beat it out of him?"

"Do you have any idea what you could have done?!" Moody roared. "If Potter died, the entire world as we know it would be gone!"

Vernon snorted. "Yeah right. Like a freak like him means that much to anyone."

Vernon didn't notice Sirius appearing behind him until he took him from the support of his wife and punched Vernon in the jaw. Sirius waited until Vernon tried to pick himself back up before picking the fat man off the ground by his throat. "Call my Godson that one more time next to me and you will regret it, Dursley." Sirius let the man go and walked out the door, too disgusted to listen to Vernon anymore.

A few moments before

"I don't know what hit Kingsley, but it had Harry." Sirius thought, walking down the street. "The good news is they're easy to track." But halfway down the street, the trail of red flower petals ended. Sirius quickly changed into Padfoot so he could sniff them out. He sniffed around, only to find the scent leading to a park nearby. Sirius tried to follow the scent even further, but with the combination of all the kids who had played in the park plus the overwhelming smell of cats, the former Marauder had to give up.

"Dang, it!" Sirius couldn't help but think. He changed back to human. Looking around, he saw a bus station nearby. Walking over and looking at the schedule, Sirius realized the last bus just left. He angrily kicked the ground and ripped off a map before rushing back to the others.

Sirius had just entered the threshold when he heard Vernon call Harry a freak. He gave Vernon a piece of his mind before leaving. He wanted to go back and do something that would get him to put back in Azkaban. But Harry needed him, so he gave Vernon that small mercy. "At this point, Voldemort would probably take better care of Harry than those muggles."

Going into the dining room at Grimmauld Place, Sirius spotted a familiar white bird. "Hedwig! What are you doing here girl? Is Harry safe?" Sirius noticed the owl holding up a letter. He quickly grabbed it and read it. Reading the words, Sirius released a heavy breath he had been holding. His Godson was safe. The others return with a few things.

Sirius recognized the things in their hands as Harry's things. "What's this?"

"We got them from the Dursleys just in case they get any ideas." Remus noticed the note. "What've you got there?"

"It's from Harry. I think he wrote it before we got there."

"Are you sure it's from Potter? It could've been those girls." Hedwig squawked indignantly and took a lunge at Moody, getting a startled yell from him. The older wizard glared at the bird who held his stare.

"Hedwig, did Harry go with the girls willingly?" Hedwig bobbed her head yes. Remus thought hard before announcing, "I think the girls saved him from the Dementors and brought Harry home. When those muggles kicked Harry out, the wards broke. With the darkness and the fact that we didn't announce to ourselves when we showed up, they probably thought we were Death Eaters and made a run for it."

"Did anyone notice something seemed off about the Dursleys?" Kingsley gingerly sat down in the first chair he saw.

"Are you alright there, Shacklebolt?" Sirius said with a wry grin, which Kingsley ignored.

"I'm good. I just got the wind kicked out of me is all. Whoever those girls are, they sure do pack a mean wallop."

Remus nodded. "Yeah, I noticed that as well. They seemed like they were in a trance similar to those who are under Veritaserum. Strange thing is, when I tested them I found no trace of it in them. They did seem to be what the muggles call hypnotized." Remus, being a half-blood, explained that hypnotization was a form of magic muggles use. It's similar to the Imperious Curse with much fewer consequences.

"Just who are these girls?" Moody grumpily wondered. "One of them destroyed two Dementors. One of them can make you honest. Now, at least one of them can transform into flower petals! What else can these girls do?" Moody said as Figg walked in with the rest of the order.

"What happened?" "Where's Harry?" "Why do you look like you rolled in a rose bush?" The questions came from Mrs. Figg, Mrs. Weasley, and Tonks.

"Those teens were filled with surprises," Moody said glaring at Figg. "We could have used more information, Figg."

"And I wouldn't say we rolled in a rose bush," Remus said to Tonks, who helped him pick petals off his coat. "It's more like a rose tornado hit us. As for Harry, I think he took a ride with his new friends after his relatives kicked him out. That letter confirms he's safe, at least."

"Now Remus, we don't know for sure that he was kicked out. The Dursleys were under a lot of stress. I'm sure-"

"Not this again Dumbledore!" Sirius snapped. "They practically confessed in attempting to turn Harry into an Obscurial!" The sharp gasps of the others at the word Obscurial were ignored in the stare-off between Sirius and Dumbledore.

"The twins once said Harry had bars on his window in his second year." Mrs. Weasley whispered. "I thought they were just trying to get out of trouble."

"Hold on!" Tonks exclaimed. "Did you say you the Order's best wizards had their butts kicked by a bunch of kids?" Tonks erupted with laughter at Remus's embarrassed nod.

"Hey!" Sirius exclaimed. "We were caught off guard! According to Kingsley, one of the girls transfigured herself and the others into flower pedals and ran us over. It was a big misunderstanding. It was dark, the wards just crashed, and for all, they knew we were Death Eaters. I have to admit though, I'm a little impressed by their skills."

Moody nodded. "Aye, their skills are impressive. Enough so that I am considering recruiting them. But there's still a chance of them being Death Eaters. For all we know, they're playing a long game with us and with Harry." The Order rolled their eyes at his paranoia.

"That's probably the one that destroyed the Dementors!" Mrs. Figg exclaimed.

"It seems I have much to thank these girls for. I tracked them and Harry to a city bus station nearby, so they could be anywhere at this point." Sirius gave Moody a pointed look. "Next time they show up, let's try to be friendly to them this time." Moody grumpily took a map of the area and begin to plan. With as many Order members as they currently had, they had to spread themselves thin to search for Harry.

"Harry," Sirius couldn't help but pray. "wherever you are, please be safe."

Earlier, as Kingsley was picking himself up, a red cloud of flower petals zoomed down the street. Once it was far enough away, Harry, and the petals, slid to a stop. Harry, dizzy from the speed, tried to find his balance. "Weren't we just..." Harry looked back at the others and noticed Yang and Neo looked a little green. Ruby just seemed tired. "Are you three alright?"

"Just give us a minute." Ruby gasped between deep breaths.

"What happened back there? The first thing I knew was the door was opening then my vision turned red and it felt like we were moving fast."

Ruby took a few more deep breaths before she explained. "That was a Semblance. It's a special power that uses aura, a manifestation of the soul that everyone has. The only exception is the monstrous Grimm who lack a soul. They're the monsters of our world."

"So your power is to control petals?"

"It's technically speed."

"What about you two?" Harry turned to Yang and Neo. "What's your...semblance, was it?"

"Ask us again when we meet with the others." At least Neo was feeling better. "I don't feel like going into some long-winded explanation and we don't have time for that if we were followed."

"Why did we run? We could've taken them!" Yang asked her sister. She seemed disappointed about running from a fight.

"We don't know how many there were. Plus, I didn't trust Harry's relatives not to attack us while our backs were turned." Ruby couldn't help but feel angry at Vernon and Petunia and their behavior towards their nephew.

Harry reached for Ruby's hand and gently squeezed it. "You don't need to worry about me, Rose. I'm not there anymore." Ruby smiled at the nickname.

"You know Neo, you seem very into it back there. Anything you wanna tell us?"

Neo turned her head away. She didn't want these people to see her expression as she explained. "I used to have a friend named Trivia. Her family didn't treat her well either." Neo shook her head. "Look, it was a long time ago. Are we going or not?"

Yang and Ruby eyed each other before nodding. They would talk to Neo about her "friend" later.

The group made it to the park to meet the others. As soon as they spotted the group of four Weiss and Jaune walked over while Blake tackled Yang with a hug.

"What happened? Why did you bring Mr. Potter with you?" Weiss asked.

"His relatives weren't treating him well. We couldn't just leave him there." Ruby looked around the park. "We can't stay here forever. We need to find somewhere to spend the night."

Weiss didn't look as convinced, but she trusted Ruby. Before they could think of a plan, they heard the roaring of a city bus. Yang looked ecstatic. "Harry, can we use this?" But she frowned when Harry shook his head.

"I don't think I have enough money for all of us."

Neo coughed to get the group's attention before pulling out an ugly wallet filled to the brim with pounds. She tossed it to Ruby. "Think of this as a small revenge against those horrid family members of yours, Potter."

Ruby, ever so honorable, wanted to scold the thief. But as she heard Harry's laugh, so free and infectious, she just couldn't bring herself to bring the boy down. She hadn't seen him smile like that since before they took his cousin home.

"Here." Harry tossed the beanie he had at Blake. "Since cat ears aren't common and we don't want any questions." Blake and Ruby both thanked him as the bus pulled up.

With a confident smile, the bus driver greeted them. "Where are you kids going?"

"Charing Cross Road, sir," Harry answered as they got on board.

"A lot has happened in one day." Harry thought ten minutes into the bus ride. "At first, I thought it was going to be an ordinary day. The next thing I know, I was being attacked by Dementors and saved by a girl." Harry was interrupted from his thoughts by a sudden weight on his shoulder. He looked down to see the girl herself fast asleep on his shoulder. The light snoring made him smile. As Harry looked behind his seat to see Jaune and Neo, the latter with her back towards the window with her arms around her seat, and Yang and Blake seating next to each other. They were both out cold. Jaune was leaning over himself trying not to lose his stomach contents. To the right of them, Weiss was sleepily fascinated by the passing scenery.

Harry turned back to Ruby, who was still dosing off on his shoulder. "I can hear Sirius now. 'You should be any other boy and enjoy having a cute girl on your shoulder'."

"Now approaching Charing Cross Road." The bus driver announced. Harry tried to wake Ruby.

"Five more minutes Yang." She mumbled before pulling Harry's arm close to her chest.

Harry couldn't help his flushed cheeks. "Sorry Rose, but I'm not Yang."

The silver orbs fluttered open. The girl opened her eyes to stare at Harry in shock before turning red as her cape and jumping back with a yelp. Yang abruptly woke, headbutting and waking Blake in the process. Neo loudly snickered at the group's bumble.

Weiss, startled, snapped her head away from the window. "What happened?"

"We're almost at our destination," Harry answered.

Yang gingerly rubbed her head. "Why did you scream, Ruby?"

Ruby and Harry shared an embarrassed look. "It's just a nightmare Yang. I'm fine." Yang gave her an "are you sure?" look before turning away to care for Blake.

The rest of the short ride was filled with quiet embarrassment. After they got off their bus, Harry led the others to the Leaky Cauldron "Mr. Potter, why are you taking us to that dreadful building?" Weiss wearily asked.

"Why can't they see the inn? They do have magic." Harry thought "You'll have to trust me on this." Harry said as he offered his hand. Ruby was the first to take it. The others shrugged wearily and followed her lead. As they stepped into the inn, it seemed to transform from a dreary-looking building to a busy, but cozy, restaurant and inn.

"Do you want me to help you six get a room here?" Harry asked before he headed to the counter.

"No Harry, we're fine. The nap we had on the bus helped a little bit." Ruby answered.

"If you say so. If any of you get tired I can drop you back off in the inn." He took them to the back alley before taking his wand out and tapping a few bricks. The bricks fell away, revealing a row of shops. Harry couldn't help but smile. Watching the awe in their eyes reminded them of himself as a child. "Welcome to Diagon Alley," Harry said.
