Pluvia City is found at the most North – Western part of the United States of America. If someone were to look out of a window, three things would immediately stand out, the first being the rain, it seemed as if God himself was determined to drown the entire city, the rain thundered down as lighting gave the city a free light show, and the thunder gave it a free music show. The second thing that stood out was the abundance of supernova coffee, a coffee chain that seemed to be on every street corner in the city, the store was decorated with the three tailed merman logo that can turn the straightest man alive gay, the blue interiors and coffee that is overpriced it seemed to blend in with the city. Finally, there was the legendary Star Needle tower, a shiny silver building with a large observation tower, which casts a giant shadow over the city. At the very top of the tower was a disk that contained an observation platform, a revolving restaurant that costed an arm and a leg and a few apartments reserved for the gruesomely rich.

There were only 4 apartments in the Star Needle Tower, the first one belonged to a CEO of a major corporation, the second belonged to an actor who had countless award and controversies, the third belonged to a teenage pop star's mother who leeched on her child's success and the fourth belonged to a gangster, the daughter of which had only just arrived.

Amy Vercetti was a beautiful woman; however, she would have been lucky if she even reached the top 10 of the "most beautiful women in the city" award. She was tall and thin for her age, 24, had long blonde hair that would make Rapunzel blush, she had eyes that were the colour of the ocean, that was concealed behind thick sunglasses that costed at least 6 figures and she was clutching onto a blue handbag as if her life depended on it. But the thing that stood out was her face. She looked as if she had just come out of a fist fight. Her eyes were bloodshot, she was missing a tooth, and she had at least 4 scars visible on her face and neck. One of which was obviously from a bullet that scrapped the right side of her face. She wore a plain blue shirt and a red pants that looked as if her legs were on fire.

The room she was in was quite simply majestic, a bookshelf the size of an ocean liner stood on one side holding books that looked as if they were as old as time itself to books that looked as if it had just came out of the printing press, a giant plasma TV with every video game console in existence from the Irata 5400 to the Jupiter to the new GamePlatorm V, a grand piano that was playing a song from some long forgotten composer stood in the middle of the room, large expensive leather couches were scattered all over the room, several paintings hung on the wall each one being more than enough to set someone for life if they were to steal it. A bed the size of an aircraft carrier was placed on one side with a mountain of cuddly toys. There were two doors, the first of which led to a bathroom with golden taps, a bath that was more of a swimming pool, and a toilet that resembled a throne, and the other door would go to a corridor that led to another majestic bedroom, a dinning room and a kitchen.

Finally, there was the window. The window gave a full view of the city of Pluvia city that was now being smothered by dark storm clouds, while the tower was mostly unaffected by the storm.

Amy looked around her room as if everything in it had mortally offended her, she was still gripping the champagne that a robot butler had given to her, she looked at it as if it was some boring television program and gulped it down in one go. She threw herself onto a couch her eyes gazing out of the window as if it held all the money in the world.

"Hypocrite." She mumbled under her breath. "Such a big hypocrite"

She looked at her hands, "It's like I'm a prisoner in here." She said to herself as she stood up and walked to the door and tried to open it. As usual she found it to be locked. Frustrated with herself she banged on the door demanding to be let out. "HAL!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. "LET ME OUT!"

"I'm sorry Amy" A robotic voice replied, "I'm afraid I cannot do that."

"Why?" Amy said through her teeth.

"Your father's orders are that you are to stay here until he arrives here from Vice City." The robotic voice said, "You are to stay put."

Amy let out a loud moan as she marched up and down the room as if unsure what to do. Her eyes then focused on a baseball bat that used to belong to her father that was next to her bedside table. Immediately without thinking she grabbed the baseball bat as well as the blanket of her bed, and without so much as hesitating swung the bat at the window. The window shattered instantly as the cold night air immediately blew into the room, for an second Amy paused for a moment, and without so much as blinking, jumped out of the window using the blanket as a parachute, as she descended down to the city.

Hal the AI robot watched all of this through the survelance cameras. The moment he saw the girl safely land in a nearby carpark, he dialed a number.

"Yes?" A weak voice said as the security camera feed showed the girl stumbling out of the large blankets.

"Well sir, it went as you had expected. She is out now." Hal said in a monotone, but clearly annoyed voice.

"Good." The voice said.

"I must say sir." Hal said "She has inherited your genes" as he watched Amy steal a nice-looking car from the carpark.

"I know she can take care of herself" The voice said. "And I know that it won't take long until all of Pluvia is her's."

"What about…" Hal said, but the voice interrupted him.

"If they were to get involved…" The voice said seriously "I will come up there myself once I sort out everything here in Vice." The voice then changed to a more cheerful tone "But for now, I want you to get to repairing that window. I will let her know that she isn't in trouble and that I expected her to do that stunt, and that I am proud of her."

"Yes sir" Hal said.
