Dib sat on the couch and waited. The last 2 weeks had been… strange to say the least. Tak was back in school sitting behind him, Tenn had "interviewed" him a number of times… she actually seemed to think he knew more than he was telling her but in truth, he knew very little about what the message actually meant. Zim was barely around much… He was trying hard to figure out what the plan was and what did it have to do with him.

Then there was Gaz. She pretty much was like a shadow most of the time. She disappeared and only reappeared to eat or sleep or do homework. Zim's simulation room was something but even for Gaz this just seemed like overindulgence.

So Dib decided it was time for a talk with his little sister.

The door swung open and she walked in. It was late but she had still gotten in before curfew.

"Gaz…"

"Hold on." She said. "Gotta grab a soda."

She went into the kitchen and after getting her beverage sat on the couch next to Dib.

"Okay, now you can speak." She told him before guzzling down the drink.

"Gaz we need to talk." He told her.

"No, we don't." She replied.

"Gaz… listen I'm your big brother and I know what we saw affected you more than you're letting on." He told her.

"Great… nice talk… now if you'll excuse me." She said as she tried to get up.

"Gaz!"

"What!?" She yelled back.

"Can… we just talk about… you know… everything." He suggested.

Gaz let out a deep sigh. "Fine…" She said.

"We, found out dad's still got it, we have a little brother, and I called our stepmom, mom… we done?" She asked.

"There's more to it than that Gaz." He said.

"I mean, our father knows Zim's an alien… A good part of our family seems to know…"

"Wait, what!?" Said Gaz. "I don't believe this!"

With that, she got up and headed for the door.

"Gaz where are you going!?"

"Of course, that's what this talk dwells down to… the alien!" She shouted just before walking out and slamming the door leaving a puzzled Dib still sitting on the couch.

*boom*

"Ah!" Zim shouted. "Gaz-human!? Why are you back?"

"Shut up." She said as she took a seat on the couch next to him.

"The simulation room is…"

"I know where it is." She interrupted.

"Ummm… is um… something not right?" Zim asked.

"Oh, wow you're very perceptive." She said sarcastically.

"Of course… nothing gets by the mighty Zim!" He replied obviously not taking note of her sarcastic tone.

Gaz sighed. "So, how do you do it Zim?"

"Do what? Be mighty!?" He asked.

"No, I mean you went to the future, same as we did. How come you aren't freaking out about what you saw?" Asked Gaz.

"Well, Zim did freak out about Dib's spouse giving birth to…"

"No! That's not what I meant." Gaz interrupted. "I, mean aren't you a little freaked out over stuff like, us being friends, or a bunch of humans knowing about your base and space station? Or something?"

"Well, I'll be on the lookout for the mallet." Zim replied.

"Mallet?"

"Yes, I must have been hit pretty hard in the head to lose all of my common sense and allow humans access to the mighty Zim's! Space station."

Gaz couldn't help but chuckle.

"So, you're not that bothered by all of it?" She asked after a brief laugh.

"What bothers Zim is the strain that future Zim has put on Zim." He replied. "Figuring out the plan and what it has to do with Zim trumps any concerns he has about the future."

"Really? It's that easy for you?" She asked.

"Don't worry your little human head over what might happen." Zim replied. "No, point really."

Gaz looked at the alien before her. He… seemed genuine not the fakey "No, Zim is not concerned." Stuff he sometimes pulled. She honestly was surprised. Zim freaked out about minor things but seemed relatively calm about all the stuff they found out while in the future. Gaz took a deep breath… sure she didn't want to tell this to Zim, but Dib didn't actually seem too concerned over this… and let's face it, Zim was the only other person (well kind of) who had traveled to the future with them.

"I called her mom." She said finally.

"What?"

"I called her mom." She repeated.

"Oh…" Said Zim. "…Isn't that a normal thing for human children to call their female house leaders?"

"I've…" Gaz hesitated slightly. "…Never called anyone mom." She said finally.

Zim appeared confused. "Not even your birthing parent?" He asked.

"I never knew my birthing parent." Replied Gaz. "She died when I was six months old."

"Oh… um… I'm sorry." Said Zim.

"It's just… I mean no matter what if and when dad meets her… how am I supposed… like why did we even have to see the future in the first place!?" She said.

"You can blame your bigheaded brother for that." Replied Zim.

"Oh, I know… but now… I don't know." Gaz said frustrated.

"Calm down dirt child." Zim said. "Like I said no point in worrying. When the time comes, the time comes." Zim told her.

"Okay who are you and what have you done with Zim?" She asked.

"Please there is only one mighty Zim!" The alien replied.

"We… wait are you saying there is no other irken named Zim?" She asked.

"Nope… Zim is the only irken with that name." He replied.

"How do you even know that?" She asked.

"All irken names are stored in a database and our pacs get updates with new information constantly." He responded. "I periodically check to see if any of the smeets have been given Zim's name and so far no one has."

"I wonder why…" Gaz answered sarcastically.

"Wait…" Asked Gaz. "…If you guys don't have parents how do you get your names?"

"Our names are in our pacs when we get them attached." Answered Zim.

"Oh… what else is on that pac?"

"Oh… a lot… Zim's memories… information… wait why are you asking these questions!?" Zim asked.

"Well… you're trying to figure out the plan… so if it has to do with you couldn't a clue be hidden in some of your old memories?" She asked.

"Yes, but Zim has already looked through all his memories with Spork and nothing seems to give Zim a clue of what the plan was or what it had to do with Zim." He replied.

"What about Miyuki?" Gaz asked.

"What about Miyuki?" Zim asked back.

"Did you look through all your memories involving her?"

"All right computer, now bring up all memories with me and Miyuki!" Zim ordered.

"All of them!? That's a lot…" The A.I. protested.

"Fast track it!" Said Zim.

"Fine…" Groaned the computer

Suddenly many images flashed in front of Zim's face. Most of it was in the lab as Miyuki often would check on the scientists' progress. A couple of others were from speeches and things like that.

"…There!" Shouted Zim. "…Play at normal speed."

"Yes, Zim I'm sure…" Said Miyuki when the video started playing at normal speed. "…Just try to actually measure the chemicals next time."

"But my Tallest measuring takes so much unnecessary time, when one can cause chaos by mixing just about any amount of chemicals." Replied Zim.

"It's not about causing chaos, Zim. We are trying to advance irken kind and our own understanding of the galaxy around us." She replied.

"Pish posh we should be spreading the irken empire across the galaxy!" He said back.

"That's the invaders' job." Replied Miyuki.

"Then I want to be an invader!" He shouted.

"Hmmm… maybe one day but for now use measurements."

"End of memory." Said the A.I.

Zim sighed. That was one thing he always remembered about Miyuki. She was the one who said he had an app for science but he always felt he could do more.

"Do you have anything outside the science lab?" Asked Zim.

"Searching…" Replied the A.I. "…2 memories found… pla…. Play…. First memory corrupted."

"What!?" Zim exclaimed.

"Playing second memory…" The computer replied.

Suddenly a tall green-eyed irken appeared on the screen.

"That's not Miyuki." Said Zim

"Oh, Miyuki…" Groaned Tallest Spork.

"We're ready." Said someone Zim couldn't see.

"g….g…."

"What's happening?" Asked Zim.

"File corrupted…" Replied the A.I. "…Need an upgrade to fix corruption."

"Upgrade!?" Asked Zim. "How could…"

"The files are corrupted… I haven't had an upgrade since we arrived here. Current software insufficient to fix file."

"Grrrrr….." Zim said. "…Where…"

Zim sighed.

"The Janitorial drone wouldn't have an upgraded base…"

Zim groaned.

"Fine!" He said finally as he headed for the elevator.

"Wow…" Said the pink-eyed irken.

"I know." Said Skoodge.

"So will you assist Zim or not!?" He asked.

"I told you this was my mission." Tenn replied.

"Then will it not benefit you as well?" Zim asked.

Tenn nodded. "Still though working with you… I learned my lesson during training."

"That was not Zim's fault!" He retorted.

"Hey, guys…" Interjected Skoodge. "…Let's just see what's on the memory."

Tenn looked at the wider invader.

"Fine." She said. "Computer attach pac and play the file."

A large medal pole descended from the ceiling and attached itself to Zim's pac.

"File… corr… fixing… playing file."

"Oh, Miyuki…" Said Spork.

"We're ready." Said the voice again.

Spork sighed.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Asked… whoever it was.

"No, but it's what we agreed on if something happened to her…" Spork Responded.

"She's gone… you can still…"

"Do it!" Spork ordered. Then after the sounds of some kind of irken machine starting the screen went black.

"End of memory." Said the Computer.

"What… that's it?" Asked Tenn. "That tells me nothing!"

"What about the other file?" Asked Zim.

"File too corrupted… unable to play." Replied the A.I.

"So that was a massive waste of time." Said Tenn. "Get out!"

Zim turned to leave.

"Hold on…" Said Skoodge. "…Perhaps it wasn't a waste."

"Computer run voice analyses on the file." He ordered.

"Running…" Replied Tenn's A.I. "…Analyses complete… one voice identified as Tallest Spork… other unknown."

"Well, that's just great!" Said Tenn sarcastically.

"Run analyses of room." Ordered Skoodge.

"Running… room identified as one of the med bay's on the Massive… unable to determine which one." Replied the A.I.

"So, the voice probably belongs to a medical drone…" Said Tenn.

"Do you know many of those are on the Massive!?" Stated Zim.

"572." Replied the A.I.

"That was a rh… nevermind." Said Zim frustrated.

"So we play the voice for the massive A.I." Skoodge Suggested.

"No, this is my mission we are not about to publicize it to the massive." Tenn told him.

"Then how do we figure out who the voice belongs to?" He asked her.

"Hmmm… We need someone who we can trust to… no there's no one on the Massive…"

"Gah! Zim is wasting time here!" He shouted.

"Wasting my time." Retorted Tenn.

"Now come on guys, I'll go over more of the footage and see if there are any clues as to where this was on the massive."

"You do what you like Zim will figure it out himself." He said as he prepared to leave.

"This is still my mission Zim." Tenn warned.

Zim practically ignored her comment.

It didn't matter whose mission it was, It was clear at least part of solving it had to do with his memories.

And since even Tenn's computer couldn't fix the file… he went to the only earthy computer system that possibly could.

"Sorry, but I got nothing." Said Dib after several attempts to manually play the file.

"It was a long shot." Said Zim.

"Have you asked Tak?" Said Dib.

"Please…" Zim responded. "…Tenn has the most upgraded irken tech and even her's could only fix one file… I was hoping by some God-given miracle your earth devices co…"

"Wait it fixed one of the files?" Asked Dib.

"Yes, but it didn't reveal much. Just that Spork had some medical drone do something." Said Zim.

"Do something to who?" Dib inquired.

Suddenly it came running at him like a charging Hogulus… How had he missed it all before?

"Me? He was doing something to mighty Zim!" He shouted. "Do you know what this means?"

"No." Replied Dib.

"Neither do I." Said Zim.

"But we must find out."

"Well play the clip." Said Dib.

*boom*

"It is time for sci! Oh hello, Dib…" Said the professor as he walked in his lab.

"…And… Dib's foreign friend." He said as he noticed his son's company.

"Hello… father of Dib and Gaz." Zim replied.

"Hi, dad… um, we'll get out of your way." He said.

"Nonsense…" The professor replied as stood behind both boys. "…This is the perfect time for me to test my newest work."

The professor went to some sort of freezer and grabbed a vile containing blue liquid.

"All right let's head to the kitchen boys." Said the professor.

"What?" Dib asked.

"Yes, this liquid should make even the yuckiest of vegetables taste fantastic…

…hope you're hungry!"

"Bleck!" Shouted Zim as the two entered the garage. "That was disgusting!"

"Don't remind me… dad's been failing with that since I was 8. Always try to avoid when he comes up with a new batch."

"Anyway let's watch the file." Said Dib.

"Hold on… the mighty Zim! Must regain his composure."

Zim took a moment and a deep breath. After a brief moment, some sort of projecting light came out of his pac and the video played.

"Was that it?" Asked Dib.

"Yup…" Replied Zim. "…Skoodge is going over the file in greater detail, but the biggest question here is who's Tallest Spork talking to."

"I think I can answer that…" Replied…

"Who was that?" Asked Zim.

"It's Tak's ship." Dib replied.

"Yup it's me and I know whose voice that is." Replied the ship.

"Who!? Tell me!" Zim demanded.

"Nope… I don't think I will." The ship replied.

"What!?" Asked Zim. "Obey your irken master!" He ordered.

"That would be Tak." Replied the ship. "So unless she comes here I think I'll keep that bit of information to myself."

Zim gritted his teeth.

"Okay, um I'll call Tak." Said Dib.

"You have a way to contact her?" Asked Zim.

"Pretty sure." He answered as he entered the ship and activated the communications.

"Hmmm, that voice does sound familiar." Said Tak after they had watched the video again.

Sure the ship could have just revealed it to them but Tak had insisted upon viewing the memory herself.

"Yup, you've heard that voice several times." Replied the ship. "You've even cleaned that room several times."

"Stop playing games and reveal who the voice belongs to!" Zim demanded.

"Go ahead." Said Tak. "Before he ruptures his squeedily spooch."

"Okay voice analyses reveal that the voice belongs to medical drone 385. Name Gem.

"Finally!" Zim screamed. "Where is this Gem now?"

"On the Massive. Where else would she be?" Asked the ship.

"Grrrr… It would Take Zim between 4-6 months to get to massive." He said.

"Well, then you better get a move on." Said Dib.

"Yup, see ya." Added Tak.

"Silence!" Zim shouted.

"…There has to be another way…"

"Yes!" He shouted.

"Yes, what!?" Asked Dib, but Zim was looking at Tak's ship.

"Get those beady red eyes off me!" The ship shouted.

"Zim… I warn you." Said Tak.

"Please like you don't want to find out what was done to the mighty Zim!" He told her.

Tak looked down, then at her ship.

"Don't you look at me that way." Said the ship.

"Will someone tell me what's going on!" Dib shouted.

"You remember the florpus?" Asked Zim.

"Yeah, but I… oh… ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
