"Dodge now left, no my left… no!"

"Game over!" Said the Narrator.

"Grrr… this isn't working!" Shouted Gaz as she got out of the simulator.

"Of course it's not, you're handling the pak worst than a smeet!" Zim told her.

"Sorry, but we humans aren't born with backpacks attached to our spines." She replied frustrated.

"You need training…" Said Zim. "…The pak must be like an extension of your appendages. You shouldn't have to think how to use it, it should all become second nature."

"And how long does that usually take?" Asked Gaz.

"Zim doesn't know when you're born with the pak it kind of just comes naturally." Replied Zim.

"Of course it does. So I'm guessing there's no training course on how to use the thing." She said.

"Not that Zim knows of…" he replied.

"Of course." Said Gaz.

"Of course I the mighty Zim! Could possibly show you some things." Replied Zim.

"What do you want?" Asked Gaz understanding the context.

"Zim requires you to ask your bigheaded brother for help with once again powering the time machine so Zim can…"

"No, way." Gaz interrupted. "You're not going back to the future."

"No, Zim doesn't want to go back to the future. Zim merely wants to see a memory that his pak cannot bring up." He assured her.

Gaz scratched her chin.

"So, you just want to go and see this memory?" She asked.

"Yes, that's it. And all you have to do is ask your brother to do what he did before." Zim told her.

"Actually…" Gaz Replied.

"…I don't."

Dib went over the data again and again. It still didn't make sense. The trail had stopped in an area where no inhabitable planet was. Hopefully, Skoodge would be able to figure out what happened, because he was stumped.

"I got nothing." Said the larger invader.

"Of course." Said Dib. "I don't get it how could his ship simply stop emitting a trail?"

"It didn't…" Said Skoodge. "…That's the strangest thing."

"What do you mean?" Asked Dib.

"Well, the trail stops here… near this group of uninhabitable planets." Skoodge explained.

"Yet, when I look where the ship should be had it continued down the path, I get nothing."

"So, then the ship what, veered off somewhere?" Asked Dib.

"No, that's not what I'm saying. The ship was set on moving in a straight line… it's and irken thing." Skoodge went on. "It… had a destination, it didn't stop emitting, most likely it ran out of gas."

"What? Really so that's why the trail stopped." Said Dib.

"Hmmm… Spork must have been going to where he intended to actually end up." Skoodge insisted.

"If' I track what, moving in a straight line… hmmm… perhaps if I expand the space… okay well… now…

…yup still got nothing." Said Skoodge.

Dib sighed. "Well, we tried. Guess Spork really didn't want to be found huh?"

"I suppose. I'll re-go over the data. Something seems off here." Said Skoodge.

"Keep me posted." Said Dib as Skoodge left his garage.

"You know, I'm right here." Said the familiar voice of Tak's ship.

"I know." Dib assured her.

"I mean you guys right there discussing irken ships and it didn't hit either of you?" The ship asked.

"What didn't hit either of us?" Dib asked.

The ship sighed or gave the ship's version of a sigh.

"To ask and actual irken ship!?" It yelled.

It took a moment, but eventually, it kicked in.

"Skoodge! Wait!" He yelled as he ran after the invader.

"So it was you who actually figured out how to get the machine semi-working." Said Zim as Gaz tampered with his time machine.

"Dib asked for my assistance and I figured out how to give it… let's call it a power spike." She told him.

"Zim should have known that the Dib-monkey couldn't have figured out…"

"Okay, it's ready." Said Gaz.

"What? Really that's it?" Asked Zim.

"Pretty much." She told him.

"Excellent, now to set in the date and time. Computer! Set return for 10 minutes after arrival!" Said Zim.

"Understood." Replied the A.I.

"Well thank you Gaz-human guess Zim will see you…"

"I'm coming too." Gaz said.

"What? Why?" Asked Zim.

"Just to make sure you don't sneak off into the future and wreck things." She replied.

Zim gritted his teeth. "Fine!" He shouted.

Both walked toward the light and the next thing Zim knew…

…He was back on his home planet?

"So, you're saying Tallest Spork most likely set the ship to what float?" Asked Skoodge.

"Yes, you see, if there's little in front of you thrusters are not needed as much in space. You can go at a good speed for a while before needing to reactivate them." The ship replied. "Give me the data and I should be able to find the most likely path of his ship."

"Okay." Said Dib.

Skoodge… did something that Dib could only assume was wirelessly sending the ship the data. Then computing sounds came from the ship's hull.

"Ah ha!" The ship said.

"What, what is it?" Asked Dib.

"So that's where he went." The ship said again.

"Where!?" Asked Dib. "Where did he go?"

"Well… oh… get Tak." Said the Ship.

"What? Why?" Asked Skoogde.

"Because I don't feel comfortable divulging this information without her present." Replied the ship.

"Fine, I'll call her." Said Dib.

"No, you won't." Said Skoodge.

"What?" Asked Dib.

"I can't… Tenn would be pretty upset if Tak found this out before she did." He replied.

"This is her mission after all."

"Then get the pink-eyed one here too." Said the Ship. "Come on, I'm actually excited to reveal this."

"Okay…" Skoodge agreed. "…But it better be good."

"Honey…" Replied the ship.

"…It's to die for."

Zim looked around. It was definitely one of the homes on irk, but he didn't recognize this place. The home was actually far more lavish than the housing unit he had stayed in when he lived here.

"So, this your place?" Asked Gaz.

"No, it must be Tallest Miyuki's. She must have called in Zim for some special project or something." Zim replied.

"Weren't you a scientist?" Asked Gaz as she looked around. "What kind of special project could it be?"

"Come on now… honey stop…" Said a voice nearby. "He'll be here any minute…"

"We must hide!" Zim yelled as he tackled Gaz.

"Get off me!" She yelled as she kicked him away. "They can't see us remember?"

"Oh, right…" Said Zim.

"Come on… you've been so busy lately… We haven't had much time alone…" Said Spork as the two entered the room.

"Yes… but…" Miyuki giggled. "…Seriously right after he leaves okay."

"I'm gonna hold you to that." Spork said playfully. "The second that door closes."

"Wait where are you?" Asked Gaz.

"Zim had us come about one minute before the memory began, so Zim should be…"

"My Tallest you have a visitor." Said the A.I.

"Let him in." Said Miyuki.

"There Zim i… wait what?"

"Awww… aren't you the cutest." Said Gaz.

"What is this!? Zim is barely passed a smeet in age." He said. "How old was this memory?"

"How do you not know that?" Asked Gaz.

"The file was corrupted it was never actually dated." Zim replied.

"Wait, then how did you know when to go back?" Gaz asked.

"Zim's computer was…"

"Hello, my Tallests." The much younger Zim said.

"Hello, Zim… well I'll leave you two alone." Said Spork.

"So Zim, do you have any plans?" Asked Miyuki once Spork left.

"Yes, many plans! Zim would like to be the best at everything!" He yelled.

"That's definitely you." Said Gaz.

"That's great Zim, but don't you have anything specific?" Asked Miyuki.

"Um… well… actually…"

"Don't be scared Zim, come sit next to me and tell me what it is." She said.

Past Zim accepted the invitation and the two sat on the rather large couch together.

"Well… Zim has been studying the history of irk." Younger Zim stated. "You know Tallest Speck?"

"Of course." Replied Miyuki.

"Why… well why didn't we continue with what he intended?" Asked the young Zim.

At this Miyuki looked rather… affected. Zim didn't know her well enough to judge, but she appeared off by his question.

"Well… aren't you a little young to be concerned with that?" She asked him.

"It just seemed like it made sense… but the Tallest after him through his plan away like it was nothing." Said Zim.

At this, Miyuki stood up.

"Well Zim… she said… it's just not our way."

"But why not?" Asked Young Zim.

"You know this still doesn't answer the question of what plans you have for your future Zim?" Asked Miyuki.

"That's it. Zim thinks he would like to continue Speck's plan." He told her.

Miyuki scratched her chin.

"Don't ever and I mean ever… tell anyone of this Zim." She told him.

"My Tallest?" He asked her.

Suddenly Miyuki rushed to him.

"I mean it… don't ever tell anyone anything about Speck or his plans ever again." She urged him.

Younger Zim nodded.

Miyuki gave a sigh of relief.

"Thank you Zim. Now run along. We'll discuss your future later." He said.

"Yes, my Tallest." Younger Zim responded.

With that, he departed and Spork once again entered the room.

"Okay, he's gone now like I said I'm gonna hold… is something wrong?" He asked her.

"Zim, just… he has the strangest ideas." Said Miyuki.

"Well he's still young, I mean at that age…"

"It's not that…" Said Miyuki. "…He was talking about Speck and his plans for the irken empire."

"Oh… well… that's different." Said Spork as he approached and embraced her.

"Is this something to be concerned about?" He asked her.

She smiled. "Not at the moment." She replied.

The two then began kissing…

…Much to the detriment of the onlookers.

"Computer! Get us back!" Zim yelled.

"You told it 10 minutes from arrival." Said Gaz. "It's only been 6."

"Well… how about we follow young Zim?" Zim said quickly as the two…

"Let's go!" Gaz yelled as she shot out the door. The red-eyed irken right on her tail.

"All right we're all here." Said Tenn.

"Now will you tell us?" Asked Dib.

"Okay, keep your pants on." Replied the Ship. "After testing how long Spork's ship could float at a relatively decent speed, and assuming he continued in a straight line I came to the conclusion that he must have been heading for… Plokesia."

"I already tried that. But there is no way his ship landed there." Said Skoodge.

"Let me finish." Said the ship.

"So, the only logical explanation is that… he didn't go in a straight line." Said the ship.

"Really?" Asked Tenn.

"Really." Replied the ship. "So, I expanded the search and found the trail started again way off from the original projected path. What I found was that Spork most likely entered some sort of cryogenic sleep as his ship probably floated for years and only reacted to a particular planet's gravitational pull."

"What planet?" Asked Tak.

"Well let me prelude with this and I'm sure the boy will understand." Said the ship.

"It was 1947, in a desert area of Roswell, New Mexico." Said the ship.

Dib thought for a moment and then it all came flooding in.

"It was Spork!?" He exclaimed.

"What was?" Asked Tenn.

"The crash… the cover-up… it was Spork!?"

"I think you broke him." Said Tak.

"This whole time!" He yelled.

"Out with it!" Yelled Tenn.

Dib tried to calm himself.

He then explained all the circumstances regarding the events that occurred and what allegedly occurred on that day over 50 years prior.

"Good to be back." Said Zim as their minds returned to their bodies.

"Gotta say this base is sure an improvement to where you used to live." Said Gaz.

"Thank you…" Said Zim. "…Wait are you insulting Zim's accommodations on his home planet?"

"Take it as you will." Gaz replied as she headed for the elevator. "So, what was this Speck all about?" She asked him.

"Zim will have to go over irk history. Can't remember much about Tallest Speck at the moment." He replied.

"Later." Gaz responded as they entered the elevator.

"Right now…

"…You have a pak trainee to teach."
