"You see, Invading is not fully beneficial. Half the time an invaded planet can't even be sustained and we usually just drain the planet for resources." Said Miyuki.

"So, in conclusion, I believe we should instead work harder to make treaties with other planets and combine our resources and God-given talents. This would allow planet resources to be fully taken advantage of and would only add to the irken empire as a whole."

There was a short pause in the room, before the sound of whirring and computing and her eventual answer.

"No…" Said the control brains.

"But we…"

"That will be all." Said the brains in unison.

Miyuki left obviously frustrated. Eventually, she made her way home.

"Hello honey… how… oh…" Said Spork obviously noticing her disappointment.

"I imagine this is how Speck felt when he proposed the idea." Said Miyuki. "I don't understand, this in the long run only strengthens the irken empire. Why are the control brains so against it?"

Spork hugged his mate. "Well, you know old ways be hard to break sometimes."

"Don't I know it." She said as she returned the hug.

"You told Zim not to tell anyone right?" Asked Spork.

"Of course… but since when does he listen to us?" She said.

Suddenly the hologram ceased.

"You, know she attempted three times." Said Julio. "However each time they rejection with absolutely no explanation."

"Look…" Said Zim rather nonchalantly. "I realize you have a bunch of Spork's stuff and all these holos, but could you please move things along? These constrictions are getting irritable."

Julio sighed. "Well, I suppose there's no point in dragging it along." He said as he got up.

"You see Zim as I'm sure you realize by now that many of your memories on irk were faked." He told him.

"Yes, tell Zim something he doesn't know."

"Well just remember you asked." He replied as he revealed another hologram. This time it was of Gem the medical drone.

"What do you mean?" Asked Gem. "You want me to… but he won't"

"It's just a backup." Said Miyuki.

"Does your mate know about this?" Gem asked.

"He does, he's against it, to be honest, but we have to. Just in case." She said.

"Okay, but it'll be difficult. You know why." Gem told her.

"I know, just do it and let me know when it's completed."

Suddenly the hologram ended.

Julio sighed. "You know what she's talking about, don't you?"

Zim nodded… but found himself really struggling to control his emotions.

"No, I won't!" He said his voice already beginning to break up.

"It's okay you know. To miss her." Said julio.

"No!" Zim shouted. "I won't allow you to see…"

But he could hold it back no longer. The tears just began to flow from his eyes. Softly at first but then more and more until Zim found himself almost wailing.

Chewy had left the room a few minutes earlier and it was just he and the old man in the room. However, Zim hated this. Crying like this showed weakness and you are never supposed to show your enemy weakness. However, he just kept going for a few moments before the tears finally slowed down.

Julio sighed. "She loved you. She did it for you."

"Shut up!" Zim said wishing he could wipe his tears. "You know nothing! I don't care if you've watched every single hologram of Sporks! You didn't know her and you certainly do not know Zim!"

"Oh, but I do." Julio replied. "What Gem did to you really took its toll didn't it."

"Silence!" Zim yelled.

"It wasn't her fault you know. Your defective pak caused certain… side effects after the procedure."

"I said silence!" Zim yelled again. "You have no right to talk about what happened to Zim!"

"It caused jumbled memories, glitches, and most likely some minor problems in your pak as well." Julio said.

Zim couldn't even bother to resist anymore. He was drained after all the yelling and crying.

"I'm sorry, I really am." Said Julio.

Suddenly Zim's shackles were turned off. Julio rose from his seat but Zim seemed unwilling to rise even after all that protest.

"How did he?" Asked Zim.

"How did he what?" Asked Julio.

"How did he die?" Zim asked rather calmly.

Julio walked over to the alien.

"What makes you think that?" He asked.

"You have his ship, you have his base and you have his holos. Do not mock Zim's intelligence!" Zim yelled as he rose and tackled Julio.

His pak legs pinned the man to the floor and he stared into the man's eyes.

"How did he die?" Zim asked again.

At this Julio seemed rather stoic. He simply looked at Zim.

"Red." He said.

"What?" Asked Zim.

"No one expected it." Said Julio.

"What are you saying!?" Zim asked now frustrated with the old man's evasiveness.

"Red… no one expected blue and green to make red." He responded.

"I'll end you!" Zim shouted as he aimed a pak leg right into the man's…

…green eye.

Suddenly Zim found himself crawling as far back from the old man as he could.

"No… no… that…"

Julio arose and walked slowly toward him.

"Get away from me!" Zim yelled as the tears once again returned.

"It's okay Zim." Said Julio as he knelt over and embraced Zim who was sitting with his back leaning against the wall.

Zim just let the tears flow and his body relax as both the realization and the emotions hit him one right after the other.

"It's okay…

"…Son."

God's blessings and guidance over this and all my stories but this was supposed to be short, but by God's blessings, this has turned into a much deeper story.

Thank you for all who made it to the end. Don't forget to leave a review.

And just to make sure everyone knows. Yes, Julio is Spork (Hence why he took his wife's name rather than the other way around as he had no last name).

May God bless you all.
