I am TERRIBLY sorry about how long this chapter took.

My old iPad, which I use to read the original manga, has now been possessed by a ghost. (NO! Not really, but I broke it a few months ago, and it began ghost typing a few weeks later.) Because of this, I had to get a new iPad.

On top of that, I just got back from Anime Milwaukee earlier today so I took a small break, but now I back, and I guarantee that I'll have the volume finished by the end of the month.

Enjoy

"Here! Take a drink, Kazuha!" Later that night, Dr. Aoi presented Kazuha with a glass of sake in her library.

"Uh, no thanks. I prefer juice," Kazuha said before taking a drink of non-alcohol.

"Oh, come on! You should try it while you're still young!"

"But I'm a mi—"

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" Dr. Aoi suddenly shoved the sake glass in her granddaughter's face. "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME SAD?!"

"'Make you sad'?"

Suddenly realizing what she said, Dr. Aoi pulled her glass and set on the ground. "*SIGH* Tell me, Kazuha: do you still hate me...for what happened to Kazuya?"

"...Um...I think you know, grandmother," Kazuha said in a resentful voice.

"...*GULP* *GULP* *GULP* *GULP* *GULP* *GULP* *GULP* *GULP*" Dr. Aoi suddenly began scarfing down another bottle of sake.

"WHOA! STOP! I THINK YOU'RE OVERDOING IT!"

"*BURP* You hate me...and yet you're still worrying about me...?" Setting the sake bottle on the ground, Dr. Aoi struggled onto her feet. "Look, if blaming you make you feel better, then do as you please. I'll be honest: after what happened to brother, I began blaming myself for this; however, I have...NO regrets over making him the man he was..." And thus, she began to drunkingly walk from her grandson, grabbing onto the bookshelf to—

*TRIP*

She suddenly tripped, accidentally knocking a book off the shelf.

"GRANDMOTHER!" Kazuha jumped onto her feet in shock. "WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"ACK! Dr. Aoi!" Sun suddenly rushed into the library. "She must be so drunk that she can't stand! I've never seen that happen before.

Kazuha became shocked. "Grandmother must've been so overwhelmed by big brother's death—as well seeing her grandson after all these years."

"C'mon, ya big broad, let's get you to be." Sun wrapped Dr. Aoi's arm around her back and dragged her out of the room. As soon as they were gone, Kazuha picked up the fallen book to put it back the—

"Huh?" Just then, she noticed the title of the book: "Photo Album". Curious, Kazuha opened the book and flipped through. "This isn't a digital album, it's an old album. And lots of them ! Mother! Father! Grandfather! Even big brother! I'm surprised Grandmother never showed me any of these pictures before." Just then, she noticed a couple particular pictures: the first picture was a group of scientists...one of whom looked very familiar to Kazuha...

"Dr. Ohara!" she exclaimed in her mind. Then her was directed to the lower left-hand corner. "And...Lab 13? What's that?"

Just then, Kazuha noticed another titled "Lab 13's Boys". The picture shadow five young men, but the of them had their heads torn off. "*SIGH* Is that..." She noticed the young man with long red hair on the left side. "...Clifford-senpai! So, I guess Grandmother knew him, but who are the OTHER boys? And...why is the picture torn? WAIT A SEC..." Kazuha suddenly noticed the date: "May 16, 2022?! But that means this picture is over forty years ago?! So that kid can't be Clifford-senpai...COULD he? "Well, this IS Grandmother after all...so it may be too hard to understand right now...*SIGH* What the hell is in your head, Grandmother?"

"The same thing EVERYONE has: a brain."

"EEK!" Kazuha quickly leapt out of her chair as she was startled by...

""Instructor Sun!" she yelped.

"Your grandmother's brain is practically the same as everyone else's; however, it may be structured in a different way..."

"Well, it looks like Grandmother really IS different from all of us...anyways, I'm goin' to be. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Kazuha," Sun said with a smile. "One day, you WILL understand the greatness of your grandmother..."

The next day, Charlie was released from his two-day detention and he walked of the building. "Charlie!" Citrine shouted in delight.

Charlie looked up at his Platoon 13 companions: Rocky, Carter, Kazuha, Satellite, and Ra's. "You should be thankful," said Rocky coldly. "We all appealed to our superiors for you. I mean, if something happened again, the whole team would be responsible!" he said in a suddenly more cheerful tone. "Of course, our superiors understand the importance of Platoon 13, and they agreed to let you go...I guess your good behavior helped you realize your—"

But Charlie simply ignored him and walked right him.

"HEY! Where are you going?" Rocky snapped. "I believe you owe someone an apology at the infirmary..."

"Kiss my ass!" Charlie snapped back. "I don't give a fuck about him! So I ain't apologizing!"

"You don't deserve to!"

Looking back, the entire platoon suddenly noticed two very familiar-looking hostile Pandora approaching Charlie from behind...
