Frostspiderman: Oh-ho-ho-ho, you'll love what I intend for Damian to put Riser through, especially since Riser has the power to regenerate his limbs and body back. Damian might be the story's protagonist, but he is a Devil and the grandson of the original Lucifer himself, so he's got a bit of a dark side to him.

3bodyjaa: Thank you.

Disclaimer: I do not own High School DxD. I only own the OC Damian Mammon-Lucifer.

"OOF!" Damian grunted as he collided harshly with a tree in the forest area outside of the Mammon-Lucifer estate. Damian rolled across the ground, flipped and nearly landed on his head which would've done some serious damage to his brain had he not managed to right himself and land on his side. "Okay... that one hurt badly."

"Get up, Damian! Training isn't over yet!" He heard his father shout and barely had time to dodge another beam of darkness being sent at him..

It's been three years since Damian was informed of the marriage between Rias and Riser, and since then he's been on a mission to train hard, to train more harder and harsher than ever before in order to grow strong, to grow more powerful to challenge Riser for Rias' hand or to free her from the marriage. However, Damian did have feelings for Rias, having developed a crush on her in the time they had known each other, but they couldn't be together because of this stupid marriage.

But he'll break it. He won't stop. Someday he will become the most strongest and most powerful Devil ever. More than even his grandfather..

Damian had to keep brunning backwards on his feet as Revan sent ball after ball of darkness, until one struck his leg with an explosion that sent him flying off his feet only for Revan to appear and try to slam him into the ground, but Damian avoid his father and tackled him in the air and into the ground hard, causing a trench to form as they slid along the ground, Damian punching his father with darkness-covered fists before he applied a little Light magic to them, causing his father to hiss in pain before he blasted Damian with a beam of light.

"GAH!" Damian yelled in pain as he went into the air and crashed into the ground. True he had no weakness against light due to being able to use Light Magic, but it stung like a needle.

He hated needles.

His body screaming out in protest, Damian forced himself to his feet and spread his wings, narrowing his eyes as he watched the sky. He was certain that his father would be coming over soon, and he had an idea for something in mind that he could do to get back at his old man for that shot.

A second passed, two, five, ten. Damian heard the sound of his father cutting through the Underworld air before he saw him coming. Another couple of seconds' waiting, and Damian launched himself up into the sky with the force of a rocket, creating a shockwave all around him as he left the ground. Infusing his fist with Evil Light, he found himself flying directly into his father's flight-path, just as said father flew across the sky.

His light-infused fist crashed against his father's stomach, sending him right back the way he'd just come, and Damian felt satisfaction swelling in him as he heard his father groaning in pain after that punch.

"Ohhh... that was a good punch. Feels like my insides have just turned to mush." Revan groaned as he struggled to his feet.

Damian just smirked before he flew at his father who was unable to stop him from delivering a light-infused punch right to his cheek, sending his father off his feet and flying, crashing through multiple trees so hard that Damian winced at each tree being knock down until eventually his father crashed and rolled across the ground.

"I hope Mom doesn't kill me for that." Damian muttered, knowing his mother liked the forest and she was angry the last time they made a mess and destroyed several trees. It's like that time he destroyed her garden and she was incredibly pissed off because of it, grounding him for a whole week. A week!

Damian looked at his fist, smirking as he cancelled the light power and rubbed his hand before he created darkness in one hand, then light in the other before he mixed the two into one, causing it to grow and cackle somehow as Damian built up more.

"Eat this, dad!" Damian shouted before he unleashed a beam of Light-Darkness energy which zoomed right through the trees and hit the area where he was sure his father was, creating a mighty explosion that could probably be heard for miles and seen from the Mammon-Lucifer castle. Damian winced, knowing that was probably a bad idea, but... oh well, he already did it.

Damian ran over to check on his father and found... nothing?

"Dad?" Damian frowned. Suddenly he was backhanded right off his feet, crashing through the crowd until he was buried in a big trench with mud covering his clothes.

"Not bad, son." A bruised, bleeding and slightly limping Revan said as he walked over with a smirk on his face. "Not bad at all. You've come far."

"Thanks." Damian replied, grinning as he picked himself back up again. "I mean, it's all for Rias, after all."

"You're damn straight it is." Revan replied, as his son got back into a combat-stance, ready to either attack or defend at a moment's notice. He was forced to do the latter as Revan came at him again, his first punch being batted aside and his next kick being blocked.

Damian came back at his father with another couple of punches, both of which were blocked, but Revan was unable to defend his son from dashing even closer towards him and wrapping his arms around him, lifting him into the air, turning around and slamming him down on his back, before throwing another punch at his face.

Revan blocked his son's punch and knocked him back with a kick then kicked up onto his feet. Damian threw a series of punches and kicks at his father, most of which were blocked.

"Come on! Stop trying to hit me and hit me!" Revan taunted his son, getting a punch to the mouth in response which made him grunt in surprise before Damian jumped up and drove his knee into his father's jaw, causing a tooth to go flying as Revan was lifted off his feet before Damian slammed the hell of his shoe into Revan's stomach, sending him crashing into the ground which kicked up some dirt and mud in response.

Revan got to his feet and the two kept going with their punches and kicks, until Revan ducked his son's punch, wrapped an arm around him, lifted him off his feet with the intention to slam him but Damian saw it and flipped over, landed on his feet, spun around and delivered a huge uppercut that sent his father several feet into the air. However, Damian wasn't going to wait for him to come back down.

Spreading his wings, he flew up and delivered punch after punch to make them go higher into the air until they were a very good height.

"Going down." Damian smirked before he kicked his father in the face hard to send him flying back down towards the ground. (edited)

As his father hit the ground, another powerful shockwave went out across the grounds of the Lucifer-Mammon estate. Smirking at his handiwork, Damian floated down until he was just above the ground, still ready to engage his father with whatever he was about to come back at him with.

A couple of seconds later, Damian was forced to put up another barrier as his father fired a pair of beams of dark energy out of his eyes, aimed right at him. However, the beams were powerful, and pierced the barrier that Damian had thrown up, forcing him to dash to the side, dodging the beams before they could strike him.

"You've got to teach me that one!" Damian shouted, as his father got to his feet and took off after him.

"All in good time!" Revan replied, his eyes glowing before he fired another pair of eye-beams at his son.

Damian rolled to avoid the beams but his father kept it up, so Damian spread his wings and flew around, trying to avoid and dodge the beams when they came close to hitting him. He did a loop-de-loop and came flying right at his father who didn't except that and got clobbered right in the jaw, causing him to stop with the eye-beams. Damian unleashed a fury of lefts and rights at his father's face before he summoned a sword of darkness and swung it, only for Revan to catch it with his bare hand.

Damian's eyes widened while Revan smirked before he blasted Damian with a full, powerful beam of Darkness that sent the ten-year old boy flying back but he managed to keep himself in the air and fight against it, which impressed his father greatly as years ago he couldn't do that. He kept it up as Damian gritted his teeth, pouring his own power into his hands and firing his own beam which clashed with hi father's, causing the sky to darken and the ground to tremble from the combined might of the Primordial Power of Darkness.

Damian then shifted the beams to the side and flew right at his father, who saw it coming and the two threw a punch at the same time, and they connected with each other's fists at the same time.

The resulting explosion from the two powers colliding sent both father and son flying backwards. Revan landed on his feet, but Damian crashed into a tree and flew right through it before he hit the ground, rolling over a couple of times before he came to a stop.

"Alright." Revan remarked, taking a couple of breaths before pulling himself up to his full height, and striding over to where Damian currently lay. "I think that's it for today, Damian. We can pick up from where we left off tomorrow."

"Got it, Dad." Damian replied, sighing and taking his father's hand, allowing him to pull him to his feet.

"So, what's next now?" Damian asked as they started to walk back towards the estate.

Revan chuckled. "Have you forgotten?" His sn looked confused. "Today, you'll be going to get your Evil Pieces."

Damian's eyes widened at that. "Seriously?! Let's go!" With that, Damian ran on ahead while Revan shook his head with an amused laugh.

"That boy..." He muttered and jogged after his son.

Dressed in far more formal attire than he'd been when training earlier, and now also far more cleaned-up than when he'd been training earlier, Damian appeared out of a transportation-circle with his mother by his side, in the expansive entrance hall of what looked like a high-tech laboratory.

The headquarters and home of Ajuka Beelzebub, one of the Four Satans and Sirzechs' best friend. Inventor of the Evil Pieces, and arguably the greatest mind the Underworld had ever known, the Devils arguably had him to thank most of all for not being extinct by now.

All noble Devils received their Evil Pieces- chess pieces capable of reincarnating beings into Devils, and bestowing upon them certain attributes- upon hitting their teenage years, and now it was Damian's turn.

"I'm excited for this." Damian said with a smile as he looked around. "I'm one step closer to freeing Rias from her marriage."

"Now, now, Damian, you still need to get the Peerage members first." Sarlith reminded her son with a chuckle as Damian sheepishly smiled.

"Right, sorry Mom." Damian said, but that had only me him start to think. Where could he get potential powerful members for his Peerage? Surely not the Underworld, so he'd have to go to the human world where a lot of magic users, creatures of the supernatural and other creatures aside from humans roamed. He had to choose his Peerage carefully though rather than be reckless with his choices.

"Now, where is he?" Sarlith muttered to herself.

"Ah, Sarlith!" The two heard and looked to see a handsome young man, who had light blue eyes and slicked-back green hair. He had a mysterious aura around him that seemed to be somewhat devilish. This was Ajuka Beezlebumb.

The Satan had a smile on his face as he approached. "So good to see you again."

"You as well, Ajuka." Sarlith said with a smile before introducing Damian. "This is my son, Damian."

"Ah, so nice to finally meet the son of Revan Lucifer and Sarlith Mammon." Ajuka said as he shook Damian's hand. "I wondered when I'd be seeing you, dear boy. Feels just like yesterday when your mother and father were here for their Evil Pieces."

"Feels like years ago actually." Sarlith said with a deadpanned look, which just made Ajuka chuckle before he gestured them to follow him over to a a very large and complex-looking machine in the middle of the room.

"So, do I need to do anything with this?" Damian asked as he glanced from the machine to Ajuka to his mother.

Not to worry, Damian, this won't be hurting you or anything like that." Ajuka assured him with an assuring smile. "What I want you to do is put your hand onto the indicated spot."

Okaaay...?" Damian did as Ajuka said and put his hand onto the spot. "Do I need to do anything else?"

"Just focus some of your power into the spot where you put your hand." Ajuka replied. "It'll flow into the Pieces, and then you'll be able to use them."

"Fair enough, I guess." Damian replied, stepping up and stretching a couple of times, before placing his hand onto the spot that Ajuka had indicated. As the current Beelzebub had instructed, Damian focused some of his power into the machine.

Nothing seemed to happen for a couple of seconds, at which Damian focused a bit more of his power into the machine. A second or so after that, the machine began to hum quietly.

"Alright, you can stop." Ajuka remarked. "Let the machine do its thing, now."

Damian did as bidden, and he, his mother and Ajuka watched the machine. The humming grew slightly louder, with the inside of a funnel close to where the three of them were standing (which had a dish below it) beginning to glow.

"Here they come..." Ajuka spoke, more under his breath than anything else.

And come they did: first eight smaller pieces, the Pawns. Damian noticed that one among them seemed to be glowing rather more intensely than the others.

"Huh. A Mutation Pawn." Ajuka remarked. "Lucky you, Damian."

Next came two larger, horse-shaped pieces, the Knights. And then two tipped pieces, the Bishops. After that, two tower-shaped pieces, the Rooks. And finally, one extra-large piece, the Queen. All the pieces were coloured a dark grey, and glowed with an eerie light, though as Ajuka said, the Mutated Pawn glowed more intensely than all the others.

"Woah..." Damian breathed as he beheld his Evil Pieces. "So, what does a Mutation piece do again?"

"Oh, they are special pieces in an set." Ajuka said as he picked up the Mutation Pawn piece and looked it over. "If reviving a person requires more than one piece, then using one Mutation Piece would be sufficient in reincarnating that person instead of having to use several pieces. Mutation Pieces can be a Queen, Rook, Knight, Bishop, or Pawn. However, they are very rare. If you are reincarnating someone with this, use it wisely."

"Understood." Damian nodded, taking the piece and the other 14 into the box that they would be contained in until he has need of them.

"You're very lucky to get one of those, Damian." Sarlith remarked. "I didn't get one of them with my set. I think it's one in every ten Devils that get a Mutation Piece, or something like that, Ajuka?"

"One in every ten, yes." Ajuka replied. "Use them well, Damian."

Damian nodded, bowing to Ajuka as he and his mother left the room with the Evil Piece-making machine, and eventually made their way out of the lab entirely.

And that's it for this chapter. We see Damian in far more intense training with his father, followed by gaining his Evil Pieces with a Mutation Pawn in the mix. SlashFan2018 has been a really big help with ideas and helping me write out the scenes for this story, so big thanks to him again.
