"So this is Kuoh... quite small compared to Tokyo." Damian remarked as he arrived in Kuoh through a teleportation circle. His plan was simple; Come to Kuoh, track down the Fallen Angels, murder them in ways that would make even demons sick to their stomachs, get paid, go back to Tokyo and have an orgy with his peerage if they're up for another one, and call it a day. All without alerting the local Devils of Kuoh, since he didn't want to deal with the trouble of them getting in his way.
So, if he were a Fallen Angel hiding out in a town currently ran by Devils, where would he be? ...Well, any kind of church would probably be a decent place to start looking. Azazel would've probably told him if there were some kind of Church-related presence in town, but he didn't, so all he could do was assume that there was none.
Stretching as his eyes adjusted to the afternoon sunlight (he'd had a bit of a lie-in this morning), Damian began making his way through the town. Kuoh's only church was quite easy to spot from where he was: near the edge of town, at the top of a hill of some kind. As he made his way through town, he noticed a great amount of young people in town wearing rather formal-looking school uniforms.
The boys wore black blazers with white accents over a white, long-sleeved button-down shirt with vertical linings, a black ribbon on the collar, matching black pants and brown dress shoes, though Damian spotted some modifications made to this, namely one boy who wore a red t-shirt instead of the button-down shirt, forgoing the black ribbon entirely. The girls uniform seemed to consist of the same shirt and black ribbon, though that came with a black shoulder-cape and matching button-down corset, with a magenta skirt with white accents... a rather SHORT magenta skirt with white accents.
'Whatever.' Damian thought, tearing his eyes away from a busty young woman with brown hair in drill-like curls that wore said uniform and continuing on his way. 'Mission first, sightseeing... maybe. Maybe not.'
Damian hummed a tune and began to sing a little song to himself just to pass the time as he walked. "The Devil's gonna come when the sun goes down (Now I know)~ The Devil's gonna come when the sun goes down~"
As he walked down a street, he paused as he saw a rather amusing scene, which was a man preaching with a sign that said 'The Devil among us'. Unable to resist, Damian walked over to listen.
"Repent! Repent before it is too late! It is the end of times! The Devil walks among us!" The preacher... preached passionately.
"Padre, you've no idea how right you are." Damian said loudly, getting the preacher's attention. "But instead of being so angry about it, enjoy the ride."
"Bless you!" The preacher said to a passing human that put some money in the box, causing Damian to nearly roll his eyes. Of course, humans and their attempts to gain money in any fashion or form, such as being idiotic preachers. His attention returned to the preacher who spoke to him. "Have you seen the face of the Devil?"
"Every morning in the mirror." Damian shrugged.
"Exactly! He's in all of us! In our every moment of weakness!" The preacher continued while Damian continued looking bored. "Look at this world! The sin! The lust! It is the Devil's touch!"
"Now, don't give my kind credit for all of that, you humans have done plenty all on your own." Damian said, interrupting the preacher again, causing him to walk over.
"Hey kid, why don't you piss off, you're bad for my business." The preacher snapped at him before returning to his preaching. "Repent! The Devil-"
"-isn't finished with you yet." Damian cut in with a very annoyed look, getting the preacher's attention again. "But if you want a Devil... here's one."
Subtly waving his hands, he cast an illusion that caused the preacher's perspective of Damian to change, instead he was seeing a literal Devil which caused him to scream.
"Stay away! He's the Devil! HE'S THE DEVIL!" The preacher screamed and ran off.
"Well, it is true." Damian said with a laugh.
Shrugging at the titters that came from the watching humans, Damian continued on his way, making his way closer and closer to the church, with the general hustle and bustle of the town around in becoming steadily quieter and quieter as he went.
The thought that maybe he shouldn't have done that, considering something like that had a good chance of blowing his cover, or at least the cover of whichever Devils happened to be overseeing this little town in the back-asses of nowhere, briefly crossed his mind. But that thought quickly left his mind, overtaken by figuring that if he was gonna be here on all-business, he figured he could have a little fun to lighten things up for himself. Or to get all the need for fun out of his system before getting onto the messy business.
Walking past a small park, he soon came upon the church and smirked a little before his danger senses went off and he leaned to the side to avoid a holy bullet from shooting him. True, he had an affinity to holy weaponry somewhat thanks to his power of Light Magic, but that still doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt.
Holy weapons stings like a bitch, and he should know.
"Begone foul Devil!" Damian turned and frowned at the sight of a priest, or an exorcist, or whatever agents of the Church like to call themselves. The priest had a holy sword and a gun with holy bullets in his hands.
"A priest in Devil territory? Now that is interesting..." Damian muttered before in the blink of an eye he had grabbed the priest and slammed him into a tree with one hand wrapped around his throat, the other summoning Judgement which he rested on the ground. "Now, Mr. priest, I have some questions and you better have the right answers for me."
"I'll n-never talk!" The priest choked out, dropping both sword and gun before trying to pry Damian's hand away from his throat. He made a couple of rather unpleasant noises as he attempted to gasp for breath, but that didn't tempt Damian to release him, not even a little bit.
Quite the opposite, actually: the Devil let out an unamused grunt and tightened his grip still further, which caused the priest's face to steadily start turning blue from lack of oxygen.
"Fine. You can listen." Damian replied. "There are some Fallen Angels in this town, a town that happens to be ran by Devils. Now, considering I don't see Devils and Fallen Angels throwing down in the streets, I'm going to assume that the Devils don't know that there's any supernatural presence aside from them here. You wouldn't happen to be able to point me in the direction of those Fallen Angels, now would you?"
"F-Fallen Angels?" The priest managed to choke out a laugh, a nervous one, which caused Damian to narrow his eyes. "Don't make me laugh! Why would I-AHHH!"
The priest screamed when Damian stabbed his sword through his leg, causing blood to pour out the wound and stain the ground. Damian gripped the sword and twisted sharply to cause the priest more pain.
"AHHHH! We-We'd never work for Fallen Angels! We-We're-"
"We?" Damian raised an eyebrow. "So there's more of you in this town?"
"N-No?"
Damian twisted the sword again.
"AHHHHH! OKAY! OKAY! YES! THERE'S MORE OF US!" The priest yelled with tears streaming down his face as his leg became bloodstained and a puddle of blood beginning to form on the ground.
"Care to tell me where the other priests are then?" Damian demanded with a dark growl.
"Never!" The priest shouted, glaring at Damian. "I'd never sell out my brothers and sisters to a Devil like you! I'm not scared of you!"
Damian sighed, knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere with this guy. If he wasn't going to talk after his leg had been stabbed and mangled, then he wasn't going to talk at all.
"Then you can die braver than most." Damian replied, bluntly, before pulling Judgement out of the man's leg. Before he even hit the ground, Damian slashed at the priest's neck, decapitating him in one swift stroke.
'So, there are more priests in the area. Well, then I'll just have to go through each and every one of them until one of them spills the location of the Fallen Angels to me.' Damian thought with a smirk.
(Cue the montage!)
Damian slammed a priest hard on the floor face first. He then delivered a barrage of 'soft' punches to their face. "Where's the Fallen Angels?!" He roared as an exorcist tried to stab Damian with a light sword.
Damian whirled around and blocked it with Judgement, sliced the exorcist's wrist open which caused him to drop his sword, allowing Damian to catch it and stab him through the stomach. Behind him a second exorcist appeared and fired an assault rifle at the Devil, who used the first exorcist as a shield to block the bullets until the gun ran out of ammo. He drop the human shield and stalked towards the priest, making him back up.
"Where's the Fallen Angels…?" Damian asked as he began walking towards his third victim menacingly.
(Base 2)
When Damian destroyed the wall, the occupants of the base had been watching a female wrestling game. Damian strode fourth, unsheathing Judgement and easily cutting through the priests like a hot knife through butter until only one remained alive. The sole surviving priest tried to run but Damian summoned a demonic spear and threw it, pinning him to the wall after impaling him through the side of his stomach.
The Devil made his way over and the priest defiantly tried to punch him but Damian sliced his arm off in one swing of his sword, causing him to scream in pain.
"Don't make me ask twice." Damian said as he placed his sword at the priest's neck. "Where…are the Fallen Angels?"
He had to ask twice.
(Base 3)
Growling, Damian ripped the remains of the door he'd just walked through (like literally THROUGH, rather than opening it and walking in) off its hinges and smacked the first priest he could see around the head with it. Forming a small barrier with his hand to block the light-bullets fired at him by the second priest in the room as the priest he'd smacked fell unconscious, he was on the second priest in a second, headbutting him hard enough to knock him down and stepping on his hand so he couldn't fire his gun anymore.
"Fallen Angels, where are they?" Damian asked. Narrowing his eyes as he took in the features of the exorcist trapped under his boot, he tried again: "Dove sono gli angeli caduti?"
That didn't seem to work either, but as the first priest got to his feet and approached on Damian, pulling the pin on what looked like a grenade of light, Damian whirled around again, grabbed the grenade out of his hand and quickly tossed it through a transportation-circle, sending it somewhere into the ocean where it couldn't hurt anybody.
"¿DÓNDE ESTÁN LOS JODIDOS ÁNGELES CAÍDOS?" Damian yelled again, slamming the first priest against the wall and grabbing him by the ballsack, squeezing just hard enough to not quite crush them. That, finally, seemed to work as the priest began babbling in Spanish, with it just occurring to Damian that there was a spell that he could use to easily translate other languages for him. He'd just gotten so carried away with fucking people up that he'd never thought to use it.
After activating it, Damian got the information that he needed.
"Well, that went well." Damian said as he walked down a street in Kuoh town. He finally got what he needed, and that was the location of the Fallen Angels which... was an abandoned Church. How ironic. Fallen Angels, formerly Angels of Heaven and servants of God, taking refuge in what the Vatican calls 'House of God'. But then again, Fallen Angels have always wanted to serve God, even when it was too late for them due to their dark desires forcing them to Fall.
Now, he was going to go the the abandoned Church, kill anything in his path, fuck up the Fallen Angels and maybe bring them back to Azazel dead or alive.
Suddenly, he paused as he sensed a barrier forming, as well as the presence of a fallen Angel nearby, causing his eyes to narrow before he rushed in the direction of it and came into a park with a fountain in the middle, and the sight of a male Fallen Angel in a trench coat and a fedora hat attacking some brown-haired boy.
A reincarnated Devil from what Damian could sense.
Before the Fallen Angel could kill him, Damian summoned a ball of Darkness anf fired it, destroying the Fallen Angel's weapon.
"What the hell?!" The Fallen Angel shouted with surprise before turning only to be blasted by a beam of Darkness that sent him crashing through a tree.
"Well, looks like this wasn't a total waste of my time after all." Damian remarked to himself as he strode forward and summoned Judgement, resting the blade on his shoulder, watching the Fallen Angel shakily make it to his feet.
"You dare?!" The Fallen Angel snarled as he summoned another Light Spear and threw it at Damian, who merely sidestepped it with a smirk.
"Yes... I do." Damian said darkly before pointing his blade at him. "I'll give you this one chance. Surrender and you, along with your fellow Fallen Angel friends in this town, may get to live... or you'll die."
The Fallen Angel laughed. "Like I'd surrender to some pathetic Devil!"
Damian's eyes narrowed. "So be it."
Damian dashed forward, fast enough to send the brown-haired Reincarnated Devil on his ass just from the blowback of him dashing past, deftly deflecting the light-spear that the Fallen Angel summoned to try and stab him with before grabbing him by the front of his trenchcoat, lifting him up and slamming him down into the ground. Not even slowing down as he did this, Damian dragged the Fallen Angel along the hard ground for a second before swinging around and tossing him into the nearby water fountain.
The Fallen Angel let out a yell of pain as his bare back met hard stone, with those yells ascending to screams as Damian waved his hand, causing the water inside the fountain to begin to boil. Damian also conjured ropes of darkness that wrapped themselves around the Fallen Angel and trapped him in the boiling water.
"Y-You hellspawn bastard!" The Fallen Angel spat as Damian approached.
"My parents were happily married, thank you." Damian retorted with an annoyed look. "Now, you have one chance to live. I'm here because your boss, Azazel, hired me to see why a group of Fallen Angels have went rogue. So, tell me, how many of you are there?"
"FOUR!" the Fallen screamed, writhing around in pain in an attempt to move his wounded back (the skin of which had been rubbed clean off by Damian dragging him along the ground) out of contact with the boiling water. "THERE ARE FOUR OF US!"
"There now, was that so hard?" Damian asked, releasing the dark bonds around the fallen angel, allowing him to shoot straight up out of the boiling water, more like a cartoon cat than anything else. "Now don't let me catch you around here again, I won't be so polite next time!" he called out, waving his hand to stop the water in the fountain from boiling.
Damian turned and regarded the brown-haired reincarnated Devil before narrowing his eyes as he sensed some kind of... energy. He walked towards the boy, who feel back in surprise as the Devil approached him.
"Who are you?" Damian asked curtly as he placed Judgment on his shoulder.
"I...I... I-" The boy stuttered.
"What kind of a name is I...I...I?" Damian asked almost mockingly as he circled the boy. "You're a reincarnated Devil, a new one judging from how you couldn't take on a Fallen Angel who's not even that challenging at all. I only spare the bastard so I can wipe him out along with the other three. But back to you... hmm, wow, I have met reincarnated Devils but I don't think I'd ever meet one as weak and pathetic as you."
"Hey!" The boy stood and glared at Damian. "I am not pat-!"
Damian jabbed him in the stomach, sending him to his hands and knees. "First off, ease up there, kid. I am merely referring to the lack of demonic power within you, but I do sense something... draconic. Maybe I'll have Irene take a look and she can identify it for me."
Suddenly, Damian sensed the energy of a teleportation circle behind him but didn't take his gaze off the boy... at least until a voice spoke. One VERY familiar voice.
"Back away from my Pawn. Now."
'That voice... ' Damian thought with wide eyes as he slowly turned around and his eyes widened at who he saw.
She'd really come into her own appearances-wise since the last time he'd seen her. Her crimson hair was a lot longer and far more luscious-looking than five years ago. What he could see of her skin was absolutely flawless, no blemishes to be seen anywhere. And she really filled out that Kuoh school uniform (it was practically the dead of night, what the FUCK was she doing wearing a school uniform that skimpy at this time?): she'd obviously inherited a lot more than just the Power of Destruction from her mother.
No two shakes about it, it was her alright.
And judging by the look on her face, she seemed to recognise something familiar about him, but was trying to keep it under a mask of confidence.
"Uh... hey, Rias?" Damian remarked, breaking the silence that had formed for a couple of seconds.
Rias' eyes widened and she took a step forward, which he mirrored, the two walking towards each other until they were an inch away. Rias shakily, slowly as if thinking this was some kind of dream, reached up and placed a hand against his cheek which he kept there.
"I told you I might be gone for a while." Damian said sheepishly.
"D-Damian?" Rias asked with trembling breaths, her eyes shining with tears of joy at being reunited with her childhood friend, the boy she's loved since, after five years since their promise to each other.
Damian looked at the locket hanging between the valley of her breasts and smiled. "I see you kept the locket I gave-" He was cut off when Rias slammed into him, her arms wrapping around him in a powerful hug and he felt her body shaking as she sobbed. Without a moment's hesitation, he hugged her back. "Oh, my sweet Rias..."
"Uh... what's going on?" Rias' brown-haired Pawn asked. "Am I missing something here?"
And that's it for this chapter. Damian has come to Kuoh, in search of the rogue Fallen Angels, had a little Deadpool montage, found one of the Fallen Angels and threw him around. Could've killed him right there and then... but where's the fun in that? And also, he and Rias have reunited after five years.
