Introducing the Sega Saturn! I'm your host TheFlyinRedJerk and I'll let you all know about our new console. New console? More like the new chapter of Sonic Sega All Stars: Subspace Unleashed. I'm so glad that I'm finished with my fourth semester of college and I would like to thank you all for your patience. As a bit of a recap, Sonic had exerienced his last beating at the hands of Reala's group and the best word that can describe it was "brutal". Despite all of this, his spirit wasn't broken and he bluntly told them that his friends would make sure to end this reign of terror. With the blue hero in Eggman's hands, the two other Legion groups were now heading to the remaining locations of the Chaos Emeralds. One of these locations would be the infamous Curien Mansion, the birthplace of The Magician and a place crawling with other mutated monsters. While we know that G and an old partner are heading that way, we don't know of the other unlikely heroes that would lurk that deadly place. Get ready for a scare in this next chapter of SSAS:SU and enjoy the ride for which it NEVER ends!

The Curien Mansion is one of the last locations with the remaining Chaos Emeralds and it lives up to its name with its gloomy atmosphere as the sky darkens. The clouds have shades of blackness while having tint of sunset in them to give off an ominous omen for those who were unlucky to run into this mansion. The mansion itself had massive glows of yellow emitting from its front windows to show that there are things that aren't signs of it being the type of mansion a normal person would live in these days. It is a place that was known for being the base of an insane scientist that had created a series of mutated creatures that would eventually prowl this mansion even after years since his constant defeats. A majority of these creatures would be humanoids with the appearances of what most would normally refer to as zombies with their decaying flesh and exposed gashes on their bodies. Normally, these said humanoids would either eat the flesh of any living victim that invades their domain or even claw at them with their deceased hands of death. Chances are that anyone who were to be too damaged by these creatures would potentially become one of them if Curien himself isn't the one who is doing the mutations to his captors. But some of these creations can take one even more monstrous forms due to being the result of being more drastic human mutations or even being the result of animal experimentation.

A few great examples would include a massive fleshy gargoyle with a wingspan even bigger than your average smaller plane and a giant arachnid that literally towers above any fancy statue that you would see in a city. But nonetheless, this is the place where The Magician was born and there's nothing more satisfying but for him to return to his humble home and invite his new allies to search the place for the second to last Chaos Emerald. Speaking of the emerald, it now resides in a secret lab sitting in a glass container. It the lab itself is full of various shelfs with other chemical equipment and a mechanical device that might remind some of a torture device. While the purpose of this device is unknown, a unsuspecting victim is now being threatened by a familiar foe for a good reason. The massive creature had the appearance of a mummy, but lacked a head for which his real one had been stolen to render him defenseless. He has a massive red face on his chest that looked terrified despite his appearance being something that would scare the most annoying of crows. He was clearly shaking in his bandaged rotting feet since he was accused of doing something he had no intention of doing, given that he was invited to this mansion by a few undead friends.

"Bu…bu…bu… but I didn't want to steal that gem to begin with. I swear that I wa…. wa… was drawn in by how shiny it was and didn't want to break open the glass," said the frightened creature.

The man that confronts him is the owner of this very mansion, the notorious Doctor Roy Curien, who was displeased about Chuck D. Head's accidental touching of the emerald that he had found days ago. This man had a serious snarl on his face that would even scare the most fearsome of his mutated creations and he had an aura that can be best described as inhuman.

"It doesn't matter, you should have never stepped foot in this lab or even thought about touching that emerald. It would be proven useful for creating some even more destructive monsters that will come in handy for fulfilling Goldman's promise of destroying humanity. Even if some of my more rebellious creations like that infernal couple were the ones to allow you to appear in my home, you will not go unpunished for your incompetence," said the dreary scientist.

He would then snap his fingers to order a few zombies to step into the room, each one being tall and muscular enough to be the "soldiers" of this very mansion with a look devoid of life. Despite the looks, they had no qualms of being aggressive for which they forcefully grabbed Chuck's limbs and slams him onto the electrical chair device that Curien had prepared for their intruder. The mummified creature's arms would eventually be restrained by the metal clamps on the arm of each chair and his lower body constricted by similar structures to ensure that he doesn't leave. He groaned within each struggle since he did not want to experience what was going to happen with him next as the devious scientist chuckled.

"You should have avoided touching that purple gem when you had the chance. This is a plan that was in the works for weeks since the rebuilding of my undead empire and I would not let the likes of anyone messing it up. Anything could have happened to it, like you break it with your clumsiness or even you using its power for your on unlawful needs. There's nothing left to do but to give you a shocking reminder of why you shouldn't interfere with my plans!" Dr. Curien sneered.

He would eventually linger his hands above a special crank as the two zombie soldiers stood with their same dead gazes, preparing for what would be the best torture in many years. The chair that Chuck sat in is now channeling many volts of electricity into his undead body and caused the his to groan in pain like a Frankenstein having a terrible headache. While he may not be a living person that would normally die from electrical chair executions, the heat generated by the voltage is enough to fry him from the inside out. So this would be proven extremely painful to his already battered body despite the fact that he can't really pain that's intense enough to kill the average human being. While he writhes in pain during this high voltage torture, the smug scientist smirked like a madman before laughing at the innocent creation's misfortune. The more Chuck endured his undeserved punishment, the more his eyes bugged out with red veins and bandages darkened from the extreme heat of the electricity. Curien keep watching him suffer for some time despite the amusement of his wild reactions and figured that he had dealt with enough for the day.

"Alright, I think you should get the point by now. I'm cutting off the chair since this is enough entertainment for now," he said before turning the crank down.

The mummified creature's electrical conduction subsided and he now groans in severe pain from what happened to him. His bandages were now hot enough to burn his own skin as if the little fluids he had didn't absorb enough of the electric chair's voltage. His eyes were now weary and were hot to the point of making him want to remove both eyeballs to cool of if he weren't suffering from fatigue. His trademarked bandages were now steaming and scorched from that experience, leaving the zombies to do weak laughs at his burned appearance.

"Please, it won't happen again. What I've did was horrible as the many monsters in this terrifying mansion. Can you please let me go so that I can meet new friends?" he begged while struggling to lift his inflamed body.

Before he could say a word, Curien had picked up his transmitter as a sign that someone important wanted to speak with him. He then focuses his attention on the burned creature with the face on his torso and gave him the same stern look from earlier.

"Yes, you may go and have a word with these "friends" of yours. And while you're at it, make sure to tell those bumbling wastes of flesh that they should be to blame for leading you into this very room," he said in a chilling voice.

The scientist points to the door that is opened by the two zombies in preparation of his uninvited guests's departure. Chuck D. Head slowly stood from his seat and walks toward the open door, feeling the infernal pain within each step. You could tell from his sunken face that he didn't want this to happen and didn't have the cruel heart to blame the ones who invited him in the mansion at all. Even when the good hearted creature walked out of the room, the two zombie "soldiers" laughed at his burned appearance in their emotionless voices.

"Silence, you two! Unless you want to get the same treatment as him then I'd advise you to report back to your posts," he snarled.

This would eventually cause them to obediently cease their undead snicker and limber their ways into the dark hallways behind them. Now it was the time for Curien to answer the message that he was being sent now that there was no one else in the room with him and the Chaos Emerald. He had pressed the button for the screen to reveal none other than one of the more dangerous creations that he had made years ago. The grey horned being looked back at his beloved master with the same scornful look that he gave him and his enemies years ago, showing signs that he's still the same old Magician.

"It's good to see you again, Dr. Curien. I was hoping that you would be alive despite your previous failure to get your revenge," he said in his dark voice.

Curien's face was not as welcome from his creation's words since he still won't forget him for his betrayal from the first Curien Mansion incident. The scientist adjusted his glasses while having those same thoughts of their last encounter from the past.

"You haven't changed a bit, even from the time you've double crossed me years ago. But I'll forgive you for now since I've heard that you wanted to stop by with a few friends to help in my plans of taking over this world. Who are they and what are their plans for this "operation" that you're a part of," he said with the same irritated glare.

"These humans and other beings aren't friends, but more like allies of a massive fleet that plans on shrouding the entire world in subspace. We also will be needing that Chaos Emerald of yours since it is vital to the Legion's plans," the Magician responded.

Just bringing up the emerald's existence was enough for Curien to grow more weary of his words and try to talk his way out of it.

"Chaos Emerald? What is that? Because if you are referring to this very gem that's in my possession it is a regular gem that one of my zombies had dug up a f….."

"Don't play the role of a pathetic human, Curien! We know that is a Chaos Emerald and the tracking devices that we have point to the direction that leads to your very mansion. So if you think you can't cooperate with what the Legion of Subspace is doing, then I might as well be the one to kill you," the horned mutant snarled.

Curien's eyebrows furrowed in a way that he's getting ready to yell at an immature child and knew that he had no choice but to question their plans with his prize.

"If anything, I would be the one to take your fate away from you since I'm no longer the weak human that you knew me as. I have my own plans for this Chaos Emerald like powering my army of mutants to take over more than just the neighboring town. So whatever you guys have planned, it will have to wait until I'm through with that!" he said with a stern tone.

The Magician's eyes now glow a bright white since he's at that stage where he's beginning to lose patience with his former master and break the device in his hand. He was also making a low growl while partially barring his white sharp fangs as further signs of his anger. Being the self righteous man he was, Curien kept giving him the same scowl and didn't feel intimidated by the gargoyle-like creature's imminent rage at all. Then he would eventually calm down and his eyes would return to their usual blank black tone to much of Curien's surprise.

"Very well, I'll have to give you some time to use it for powering your army since we do need some reinforcements after some traitors had defeated several of our soldiers. You can also make sure that you have the rest of my remaining brethren join our forces after doing so since we'll be needing all the help we can get. That way, you can get your dream of taking over this human infested planet and we can use all seven Chaos Emeralds to initiate our real plan. Destroying everything with the Dark One's help. Sounds like a deal?" the Magician bargained.

This would lead the scientist to ponder his thoughts and thinking about the idea that his rebellious creation had planned for him. He would then glance over at the emerald behind him and remember everything he had planned since the last few weeks with the mutations and the plans he had for the world. Sweat poured from Curien's head as he thought about this since this was a tough decision to think about due to the possibilities of rushing his army being preposterous in his view. The Magician still looked at his master throughout the transmission signal in hopes of hearing an answer of compliance to his personal request.

Damn it, I would rather not do things this way since some of my more precious creations are still in their incomplete stages and they should not be rushed by any means. Then there's the fact that there are about seventy-five zombies left in this very mansion since a majority of them had died out since the last incident. Should I agree with this horned nightmare's demands or can I just be forced to kill him or anyone else that show's up in the end. There's still those "inferior" zombies that do pointless things with my remaining soldiers and they might not be ready for war yet. This is one of those things that I would have a forty percent chance of winning if I go through with it in the end.

The scientist took out a handkerchief and quickly wipes his forehead while taking big breaths to calm down about the situation at hand. The horned creature glances at his master since he was now prepared to make a final answer and hoped that he would come to an agreement about his special bargain for the emerald.

"Fine then, I will agree to your little plan and use the emerald's power while I can while awaiting your group's arrival. If you are serious about what you said about helping me take over this planet with the power of all seven of these emeralds, then I agree with you. But the real questions I have regards the number the Legion has in their possession and how they plan of destroying this world," Curien said in a concerned manner.

"The thing is that there are two emeralds left to get and we only have one in our possession while the rest of those infernal heroes have them. We already have a plan for getting the others in the future since he have a friend of theirs in our possession for another bargain for his fate. The destruction of this planet is more along the lines of a Plan B in case our army were to fall to an unfortunate amount and they were to gain the upper hand of ours," he before glancing aside.

The more Curien thought about his words, the more he grew suspicious about why his own creation would team up with these guys in the first place.

"Are you doing this because you want to end all of humanity or is it for other reasons? I can't really imagine you teaming up with these guys something as insane as killing all life unless it's for…"

"Trust me Curien, this is something we'll only resort to if our entire plan of colonizing this planet is a failure. If they were to get in the way of our goals, then it should come at the cost of many human lives since I can't see humanity living that much after all the destruction we had caused around the globe. So I highly suggest that you prepare your forces and do what you can with that emerald since we'll be here in three hours from now," the Magician explained.

The mad scientist was silenced after the abrupt explanation that his devious creation had spouted, being forced to be less concerned about what happens to the planet and more about what to do in the allotted time until he would arrive.

"Do you have any more objections to this plan or do I have to be the one to give another unfortunate fatality?" he said while baring his fangs.

Curien then took this moment to deactivate the glass protecting the Chaos Emerald with the help of a handheld mechanism without haste and took a deep sigh of stress before picking it up with his left hand. The Magician watched his every move to ensure that he would make his final decision and became less fence now that his old creator had finally came to his senses. He tightened his grasp and gave a look of confidence to his rebellious creation to show that he is making his final decision regarding the plans.

"Alright, I'll gather up my toughest undead fighters and inform them about what will happen tonight to let them know about how serious this plan will be. I will unload the Chaos Emerald into an special generator that I have in the basement so that the gem's power would make them near unstoppable killing machines and ensure that the world will be ours. We promise that we will be fully prepared by then and the Chaos Emerald will be in your hands," he declared with pride.

The horned being turned to the side and nods, which would eventually result in the other villains in the room chattering amongst themselves in agreement. Curien wasn't surprised by this at all since he was informed that the Magician was with a group when talking about their plans of landing in the mansion soon.

The devious creation then looked back at his creator and said, "They know that you are serious about the deal. Make sure that you are fully prepared by time we get here and give us the emerald after you're done with its use."

Soon as the transmission went off, the scientist them stormed out of the room with his emerald in hand and walked down the east halls to find the basement for starting his power transfers. He had a determined look on his face and kept walking in a serious manner with the purple gem in his hand, all while thinking about the drastic measures for this procedure.

"Time to show these clowns who's the real creator in this pathetic world."

Now the scene changes to something rather unexpected in the mansion full of mutated creatures and flesh eating undead, which would involve two of the quirkiest members of the House of the Dead. The room itself is what you'd expected for these two being full of cobwebs and spiders to make things as "romantic" as possible for them. The stone walls of this secret room are "cleaner" in comparison to the rest of the rooms in the basement area since they would like to separate themselves from their more cruel fellow zombies. The stone desk contained some interesting photos of the zombie couple's early adventures in the mansion and even their wedding that took place after their first Sonic Sega All Stars Racing Tournament. The groom himself is a heavy set zombie with a muscular frame that was covered in gaping gashes and had a bandaged head that barely covered only one of his dead eyes (One that is white with red veins coming from it and the other being red with purple gore surrounding the broken eye socket). As for the bride, she looked rather pretty with blue eyes that would remind those of her "previous" beauty and long blonde hair to match her adorable face. The eyeball earrings were to show off her strange sense of fashion despite being a zombie and her black dress matches her dark sense of humor that she has.

These two had a deep connection since the day that the groom had broken the bride out of prison and Curien originally created her as a replacement for his wife. But through the help of teamwork and challenging many trials in the mansion, these two would eventually go together like bread and butter. Since then, they had done plenty of things in the past like racing with Sonic or dancing in the Club of the Dead in the Ball Room of the mansion with the other zombies. Now, they would settle down and enjoy their company in the basement of the mansion in their lovely wedding a few years ago. Now, the couple would eventually find themselves taking care of Chuck D. Head, who was unfairly punished for accidentally observing the purple Chaos Emerald that resides in their "master's" favorite room of this deadly house.

Zobiko is the cute zombie bride that is tending the burn marks on his body with a special antibiotic cream made especially for the undead. Her beloved husband Zobio is the one responsible for unwrapping his new friend's mummified body so that the entire body could get the treatment it deserves. The mummified hero groaned due to how hot his body still was from that shock treatment, but he knows that his zombie allies had to do what they can to help out. Zobiko applied the last of that cream to Chuck's wrinkly right arm and directs her attraction to her handy husband. When Zobio had saw from her looks alone, he nods and rewraps the arm with the bandages that were previously covering it. Zobiko leaps off of the striped bed and takes another look at her wounded client to see of they had down everything to coat his entire burned body with their special cream.

"There, your body is now embalmed in the coldest way possible so that your wounds shouldn't hurt as much anymore. Sorry about what that psychotic scientist had done that to you Chuck, we could have warned you about his special laboratory," she said with a smile.

"It's no one's fault. I should have taught myself that I shouldn't be in anyone's business. I knew that shiny gem would bewitch me in a way where I could have been dead, even though I'm already dead," said the mummy with the face on his chest.

The muscular zombie had finished rewrapping his friends arm and places his hands on his hips to show how proud he is of his first mummification operation.

"See what I tell you, you would be all better now as long as you have fellow dead walkers like us by your side. It is hard to believe that Curien monster would go that far as to burn you for a rotten gem that you can dig up anywhere," he said in his gravely voice.

"Zobio, it's not just any rotten gem," Zobiko said before flipping her hair, "It's a Chaos Emerald and we all know how special those gems are."

Chuck would eventually help himself off the bed with his thick arms and he could still feel the pain despite it being less intense with the help of the embalming cream.

"I wonder why he would go far has to hurt someone just because of that "Chaos Emerald". Is there some special reason as to why he wouldn't want anyone near it?" he said in a worrisome voice.

Zobio knew that it was best to tell him everything he knows about his former "captain" and tell Chuck all about the mysterious gems that Sonic had used in the first racing tournament.

"The Chaos Emeralds are forbidden gems that originated from a "tomb" called Angel Island as far as I can remember from what Sonic said. But the thing is these gems grant some ultimate power when all seven of them are in use like how he can become some stronger and shinier version of himself during our last races in the past. If we take these two things into account, he could plan on using it for fueling the other guys in this mansion for some pretty deadly plot," he said with urgency in his voice.

This would lead the mummified creature to raise his bald brow suspiciously and stroke his chin like a detective would when thinking.

"Deadly plot eh? You mean like taking over the land with the help of powerful monsters and demons? That does sound like something Max D. Cap would do since he's the ruler of Hell after all," Chuck said bluntly.

"Ruler of Hell? Maybe this Max guy that you mentioned is the mysterious guy that Curien had been talking to for the past few days. Then again, he would rather not be specific when talking since he knows that we would be watching him like the dead," said the zombie wife with a scowl.

"Honey, I doubt that he would be talking to that Max guy our friend had mentioned. It can be anyone that he was talking to and I doubt it would be someone he never had a personal connection with. Perhaps that Agent G guy that foiled his plans in the past?" Zobio suggests.

Zobiko flipped her hair for the second time and took a good look at her husband since his idea didn't sound right either.

"Well, maybe your brain isn't lodged in the right spot since it sounds as logical as a snake running around without its head. I doubt he would even talk to someone that he even hates, even if it's just for the sake of telling them about their plan," she remarked.

Her first statement made Zobio drop his jaw like your average brainless zombie since it was rather offensive and uncalled for de him trying to help. He would eventually felt what used to be his blood boiling in rage and he clenches his rotten teeth in rage since called stupid was the last thing he wants to hear.

"Maybe I would think about the situation instead of calling a gentle-zombie stupid for thinking logically, Zobiko. There are times when your smart remarks would cut someone deep into their flesh and you had gone too far. Apologize this instant or else I'll really get angry!" he bellowed.

Zobiko herself wasn't in a mood to apologize since her husband was really asking for an argument soon as he had raised his voice.

"Apologize for what, correcting your for your poor sense of thinking? Over my cold dead blue body! You know that it doesn't make any sense and I am not going to be the one to say a single sorry," she said with a frightening glare.

What would happen next would be the zombie coupled having a series of back to back arguing like a bunch of angry children that want to fight over using the bathroom. Chuck would eventually get angry himself after enduring their pointless banter for a good minute and really wanted it to end.

"Shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!" he roared in annoyance.

The two would eventually be silence and look at their eternally pissed off guest who did not want to be dragged into one of their overdramatic relationship conflicts. He breathes heavily like a monster that would rampage in any moment and his face was now fully outstretched from the main body due to having to shout that loud. This would eventually give the two more of a reason to give him terrified stares since it's their first time witnessing one of Chuck's special abilities. His fleshy face was also more veiny that usual due to how much press he had to put into that yelling and Zombio would swear that they would rupture in any moment.

"Unless you guys want to really give me some answers about this place, then I suggest telling me about the purple mass that's in the farther back of the mansion itself. Is there or is there not a reason for it to exist?" he demanded.

The zombie husband was the first one to think about it since he was the one who does the most sneaking of the two and even talked to the other zombies about it on certain occasions.

"I don't know what it really is, but I do know that wherever it came from is rather mysterious. Some zombies were reported missing over the past few weeks and it is mostly has something to do with that purple mass. One zombie even told me that it exists far before Curien came back a month ago," he said.

After hearing something he would be intrigued with, Chuck's head retreated back into its body to keep it hidden under the masking of mummy bandages. He tried to rethink about the purple mass that he had seen the first time, the same one that engulfed his home in the past and he could barely remember where it came from it it happened so suddenly. One think that popped in his head was a massive black warship that he caught a glimpse of before he would eventually be chased away by a flock of shadowy beings. These beings were unlike any other monster that he would see on his home island and they were too tough for him to fight back then. Zobiko's attention drew near the malformed mummy as she thought about what could be going on in his mind at the moment. Her larger husband knew that it was time to let him recollect his thoughts since his last statement could lead him to thinking about what he could know about that mysterious purple mass.

"I remember something similar taking over Dr. Frank N Stein's Castle and I had to escape it since it was swallowing everything in the castle. The doctor told be to leave him behind and run before things had gotten worse, even if I didn't want to watch him die like that. That ship was the last thing I would see soon as I've fully escaped the wrath of that crawling darkness and there was no turning back since my master's beloved castle was no more," he said.

"So the entire castle was engulfed and everything in it died? At least we know what happened to the zombies that used to be lurking in the soundest of this castle. The mass itself even expands towards the courtyard and the forest in the back," said the shocked zombie wife.

"Yeah, I can imagine all of us being somewhere even worse than Hell if this entire mansion was fully absorbed and I even remember Curien himself appearing though it soon as it happened. Although something seemed a bit off about his appearance back them unlike what you've seen before your electrical execution," Zobio said while scratching his head.

"Like him having wild white hair and a very bright white appearance as if he's the embodiment of lightning itself or any other nonliving energy source. He even referred himself as the wheel that judges our fates at one point," Zobiko said before grabbing her husband's hand.

The mummy's eyes grew even more skeptical since I knew that there were a few things off about that crazy scientist and his undeserved shocking was done a for a great albeit sketchy reason. He even thought about the importance that the emerald might have to him and thought back to the appearance of that warship in the past.

"Maybe Curien had him some friends that could have made him into the monster that you two had described. These guys can also be the ones responsible for creating both purple masses for the sake of wiping any life off of existence, even Dr. Frank," he said while growing sad after that last word.

The jolly old zombie gave him a pat on the spot where his missing head used to be and gave him a look of assurance.

"Cheer up fellow dead walker, I'm sure there's a possible explanation for what that purple mass is for. Who knows, maybe he's still alive and held hostage by these shadow guys that you had described. There would be no reason for them to warrant killing someone with a mass that can possibly lead somewhere darker than this place and the many victims that could have been hit were lead there unharmed," he said with a smile.

He looked back at his green skinned friend with his emotive eyes and felt something warm in his heart that isn't hunger. He was actually comforted by his words and experiences the feeling known as "love" for the first time in his immortal life. Then again, the closet thing to friends he had was Dr. Frank and his missing head that ran away from him after meeting their first zombie. Soon as he thought of that last one, that caused the mummy to freak out since it's been a while since that wise cracking skull went missing.

"You two just reminded me, I've got to find that stupid Head and kill him for running way from me. I'm actually not that strong without him and he could still be out there getting into trouble with those zombies!" he panicked.

Zobiko actually widens her dry eyes soon as he mentioned a talking skull and dropped her special nail polish.

"I know exactly who you're talking about. That skull is still in the ball room entertaining the remaining zombies with his skull jokes. I was thinking about if he was a friend of yours and didn't mention it since you two don't look alike," she said.

"Even if we don't look alike, I would let you know that he is the stubborn head that completes my body. Even if my real face on the bandaged torso that you see. I'm definitely going to crush his hollow skull once I find that snaggle toothed jerk!" Chuck exclaimed.

"Whoah there Chuck, that's not the way you should be talking to your undead pal … or if he's really a pal. Either way, the ball room should be upstairs and we can get there in time before Curien finishes with whatever plans he has with that emerald tonight," Zobio said in an attempt to calm him down.

Suddenly, the door to their room started to violently shake as a familiar unearthly groan accompanies it to their surprise. Zobiko stood from her seat, but Zobio reaches his arm in front of her body as a way of saying "Stand down." Chuck himself growled with his arms raised since he's been waiting for a skull crushing fight all day. The door shook even harder and the moans grew louder within ever second, implying that this zombie might have an otherworldly grudge against the zombie couple like Curien himself. Zobiko grew more cautious as the door appears to be nearly breaking from that zombie's bloodthirsty rage, which prompted her husband to start walking towards the door with his right fist read for a pounding. Chuck obediently followed him since he figured that there might be reinforcements that could have followed him down there.

"This one's mine Zobiko, I'll make sure to make his body crumble faster than a stone wall when I get through with him," he said be while watching the door breaking down.

He gripped the ancient doorbell with his left hand and swung it open to get a good view of the intruder. Chuck launched his secondary head out of his torso to attack from below until he saw something unbelievably hilarious. Zobio himself even halted his clenched fist once he finally realized who it was all along. It was an unkept zombie that had green skin, a torn brown shirt, and one of the the wildest expressions on his face. He appeared to be swinging his axes around like a crazy fool with the dopiest eyes on his face.

"Aaaauuuuugghhh, Cyril has some urgent news from the highest parts of the Curien Mansion!" he said in wacky tone.

Both of the loving reads and the red faced mummy friend where speechless from this zombie's weird way of broadcasting news. Chuck's body walked even closer to the door so that his head would have an easier way of retreating back into it. Zobio's head was now void of thoughts and couldn't even think of something to say after the sheer wackiness of the scene.

"Cyril, is that you? And why where you nearly trying to break down our door after we had just fixed it a week ago?" Zobiko said with a scowl.

The semi bald zombie tried to think bout what to say and he notices his other axe being left on the floor where it could be stolen. He then quickly reached his arm down with other being raised above his head and finally picks it up before facing the couple.

"Cyril here to bring you urgent news of our mansion being under attack by humans with guns. They had already taken out half of my squad and are currently searching this place for our good doctor," he said before accidentally poking his head with the blade of his left axe.

"Under attack by humans with guns? Cyril, can you tell me what they looked like before you have rushed your way down here?" the zombie husband asked.

Cyril tried to think even harder while ignoring that the blade of his other hatchet is stuck to his left leg. Chuck was about to tell him about it, but Zobiko warned him not to since it isn't worth telling a mindless zombie like him.

"One of them had dark skin with a yellow T Shirt and said some things that were fouler than Justice's rotten tongue and the other had black shades and said something about a Varla Guns?" he said before finally noticing the stuck axe.

"Varla Guns? You mean the Varla Guns? I know that she used to be one of the hottest dancers in.."

Zobio would eventually notice his wife giving him a mean look due to the fact that he's talking about a human stripper that used to be alive.

"What? That's what she is and to be frank, I'm only interested in you Zobiko. Besides, humans are disgusting creatures in their own right anyway," he said while nervously rubbing his head.

Zobiko sarcastically rolled her dead eyes and then glanced at Cyril since they needed more information rom him.

"How many bodies had ben taken out by the gun totting humans and is that chatter mouthed skull still where he is?" she asked.

"Cyril couldn't tell what happened, but the others are still where they should be in the ball room. As for the other axe tossing squad zombies where easily taken out with simple head shots and I barely escaped due to being in the far back. Plus failing my axes like a mad zombie to deflect bullets," he said while reenacting that last part.

Zobio grabbed both of his arms to make him stop doing so and knew that he needed to ask another favor for him to do.

"Cyril, there are some ways in which we can stop those humans or else things would get worse. I know where that Varla girl is so that the glasses wearing guy call tell his foul mouthed partner to stop shooting. We will sneak to that hidden lab in this area and free her from that capsule and you can distract them from going deeper in the mansion. Also, you really need to keep an eye of Chuck's joke telling head so that he wouldn't be the first victim of their bullet hell wrath," he said with his voice raised.

"You are seriously going to trust that rotten brained fool with protecting Head?" Chuck asked with his bald brow raised.

Zobiko grabbed the mummy's hand to let him know that he needs to trust what her husband is planning.

"Trust me Chuck, I know what needs to be done. You just need to stick around with us since this lab is guarded by the more tougher guards that might require more than the two of us to help. Plus, Cyril's got to make himself useful since he practically allowed his entire squadron to be living flesh targets for those humans," Zobio replied.

He looked back at his axe wielding friend and let him go so that he can get ready to play his role.

"Do you understand what needs to be done buddy? I just want you to keep them busy while we give the shady guy what he wants. Even if it means disobeying Curien for the second time in history," he stated.

Cyril had no way of responding to his friend's requests since it is practically overwhelming for his nearly rotting brain to handle. Zobio still stared into his face in hopes for an answer and lifts to lift him since time was running out for a staring contest.

"Cyril can't really process all of that, but I can help you," the semi bald zombie said.

"Alright, then try not to let us down and remember everything I had said," he said with a smile.

Without haste, Zobio would eventually toss him back up the stairs leading upstairs so that their plan could be set into motion. Cyril did a load groan as the wind pulsed through his hairs and the G-forces were pushing against his frail green flesh. Next thing you knew, a loud thud would be heard and everyone had cringed due to how painful it felt given that they were also undead. Zobiko looked back up the stairs and could see one of his limbs hanging from the highest star and wonder if the collision wasn't too much for his lanky body.

"Cyril, are you ok?" she said.

One of his disembodied arms had raised and waved back at them to let him know that he's fine.

"Don't worry guys, Cyril will put himself back together. Find that Varla hussy and bring her to these zombie killing maniacs!" he shouts.

Soon as they knew their clumsy friend was alright, the undead trio would eventually start running down the dark hallways in hopes of finding Curien's new vessel for the Chaos Emerald. Zobio placed his smaller wife onto his shoulders for old times sake so that she wouldn't have to put some much work in her petite feet. Chuck would eventually tuck his head out so that he would be prepared to chomp any other monster in his path.

"So do you guys have any idea where this secret lab is?" he asked.

"It should be about about thirty feet away from here, but it's going to be a tough road since there are plenty of guards waiting to rip their intruders into shreds. Half of the reasons why I was able to get there was being in a secret passage way that Curien would eventually take out after becoming too suspicious on how I was able to know so much about his studies," said the zombie husband.

"So you have any idea of who we might be up against or his dangerous they are?" Chuck asked.

Zobiko polished her eyeball earrings with spider blood before she would gladly answer his question.

"Plenty of soldiers that specialized in close combat and guerrilla warfare since they are the more tougher zombies in this mansion other than my Zobio," she said before stroking her husband's cheek.

He couldn't help but to once there's nothing more cute than having some compliments from his lovely lifeless wife.

"There's not only the soldiers, but the Death guards since they are the more deadlier zombies to worry about. That's because their special clubs are made out of the thickest skulls and hardest flesh from their previous victims. So I hope that you don't mind having to struggle while we go after that Varla girl for this crazy night," he explained.

Chuck D. Head couldn't help but to laughs since he's seriously add that his new allies are underestimating him that much.

"Too much for me? Don't make me laugh, I was able to take on Max's more tougher monsters with my strength alone. I would only need Head if there are more smaller and hard to hit targets involved," he gloats with his rotten teeth bared.

This was something that Zobiko couldn't resist laughing at due to how overconfident he was with his words, causing her husband to sigh.

"Since there are a few guys up ahead, we'll see if you're as good as you say you are. Or else you would wind up die trying like the last zombie that tried going here without guidance," she said with a cocky tone.

A pack of zombies were heading their way with torn military uniform with hellish faces that would be seen on your average flesh eating zombies. Chuck would be the first one to pick up the pace since he eats monsters for breakfast on a daily basis given he's Dr. Frank's toughest creation.

"Time to decapitate you guys with my fleshy jaws!" he shouts before getting close to one.

Before one of the soldiers would attack him, he managed to chomp half of his body with the help of his elongated face. Chuck knocked out another one of the soldiers with his powerful arms and made way for the zombie couple to move.

"Zobiko!" the zombie husband ordered.

"Way ahead of you, hubbie!" she said before leaping into the air.

The musclebound zombie would eventually take out a group of soldiers with a powerful clothesline technique and backhand a soldier that tried attacking him from behind. More soldiers would eventually try to dog pile him from above and Zobio had the perfect way of stopping their plan.

"Sumo Style: Zobio Bone-crushing Gatling Palm!" he shouts before doing a series of rapid palm strikes to his enemies. These attacks were so powerful that the bones inside of the soldiers' bodies were broken and their bodies where dislocated in unnatural positions. Zobiko was almost on her way down from her fall and noticed a Fatman getting ready to attack her husband out of nowhere.

"Oh no you don't, you tub of rotten flesh!" she said before diving faster with a kick.

Before Zobio could face to see his equally large attacker, his lovely wife was fast enough stomp him on his head to disrupt his moveset. This gave him the opportunity to knock the obese zombie towards the legit way with a powerful backhand. Zobiko would eventually leap back onto her husband's shoulders soon as the Fatman crashed into the wall from that attack. Chuck had already bitten and defeated plenty of the soldiers ahead of them to much of their surprise, which shows how determined he is to helping them. Without further delay, Zobio started to pick up the pace in order to catch up with their mummified ally. Suddenly, a mysterious voice could be heard from the other side of the hall and it became louder as they drew near the secret lab.

"What's the matter you two, slowing behind like in the past? I knew that you guys would eventually show up sooner or later and Zobiko must have been one lucky girl to have a strong zombie like him," it said.

"Who the heck are you? Show yourself and stop playing the role of a whiny rat!" Chuck demanded.

"If you insist, you bandaged malformed weakling," the voice replied.

Then a massive dusty tornado would be formed in front of the mummy, which he thankfully jumped back before he would be sucked in. Zobio and Zobiko eventually caught up with him and took a look at the strange phenomenon that took place before them. Zobiko remembered both the voice and that dusty tornado before taking a tired sigh.

"Great, it had to be that dead weight of all people," she pouts.

"Zobio, don't tell me who I think it is," he said before shaking his head.

A familiar red hooded figure appeared out of the whirlwind with a zombified scantly clad woman in his hands, someone who they were planning to steal to begin with.

"You two missed me? How cute, and now here I am with that would eventually be my new powerful bride. It's a good thing that Curien was working hard on taking care of her in a way that she would remain beautiful before killing you two," said the devious Star.

Just when things couldn't get any worse, an old foe from the past had to appear to make their lives a living hell.

Not only we know that Curien is up to no good again, but we know that he is currently in possession of the 6th Chaos Emerald. He would eventually strike a deal with his strongest creation, The Magician, to use the emerald for whatever purpose he had until they would arrive "home". The weird mummy Chuck D. Head would eventually have his would treated by a certain zombie couple (who were now married) being "punished" for snooping into the emerald's exact location. Since the arrival of a duo of human "enemies" that invade the mansion, the undead trio would depart for a hidden lab that contains the previously deceased Varla Guns. Then an old enemy who originally want Zobiko in his arms would appear out of nowhere with the revived beautiful woman in his hands for his personal desires. As per usual, the next chapter will arrive next Friday and rouse of the Dead saga will go on as promised. This is TheFlyingRed Jerk people and have an awesome day!
