E3 can be considered a loss or win for certain companies, but it's none for Sega since they we nowhere to be found. But hey, at least they helped in some way due to a new kickstarted Shenmue III and another trailer for Project X Zone 2 (Which confirmed that the reporter of Space Channel 5 is back). Anyways, a little recap is needed. Curien would eventually be defeated at the hands of teamwork from Shadow's group and their undead allies. With Varla regaining her consciousness, she knocked the now human Curien out the mansion to deal with him personally. The heroes and the right idea to start pursuing her since G would rather not have her become as heartless as her undead peers. Meanwhile, she would eventually be ambushed by the Legion who arrived in time to punish the scientist "the hard way" for his failure of meeting their expectations. Now she's in a tough situation where she can join their fleet or die at their hands since they were still interested in using her to make up for the emerald's loss. This chapter will get interesting as you read it since another hero would arrive to help them out. Level Start!

It was now a dire situation for Varla as she is completely terrified and too frozen to do anything that could save her as the Legion completely a rounded her. The Magician still stared into her with his blank eyes as he waits for a direct answer from her. The rotting fleshy monster Aggar snarled with his massive claws outstretched since he wants to make sure that their possible new addition wouldn't think about running away. The wise blue Zeti master looked at her atop his flying staff since he is anticipating the decision that she would make is wise instead of brash. The undead scantly clad woman was too away from her only friends and stuck in a situation where she would have to be her enemy's new killing machine or be slaughtered by them for refusing their offer like her "creator". She could barely speak since what happened earlier traumatized her and she really wanted to run more than being forced to comply with these otherworldly villains. Her heart races at a speed that can be compared to an expert track runner and this wasn't healthy for her since she could still feel the pain of the emerald's energy in her body.

"It is your decision, little lady. You can simply just come aboard on our ship and join us since we have some big plans for you. Like our buddy the Magician said, denying our request can easily result in you hanging out with me in Hell as my new personal torture pal. So we can do this the easy way or the hard way," the obese demon said before laughing.

Varla is thinking about what to say or do since these guys were serious about what they wanted and had to figure that plan out in a way where she wouldn't get severely hurt with her fragile body. The undead stripper slowly stood up, while attempting to hold in her fear, and faced her genetic superior to show that she's red to answer. Zik and the others watched her closely to make sure she has nothing tricky up her sleeve with cautious eyes, especially Aggar since he's been hungry for another opportunity to harm someone. The Magician even drew near her just for his dead eyes to meet hers and be prepared for a proper answer for his request. Varla faced him with no fear and hoped that what she had on her mind would work since she would rather not be forced to be a slave for the second time and be free like she was before her ex-body's "death".

"You know, I'm actually starting to feel that I'm better off on your side since that nutcase was a terrible accomplice anyways. You guys actually seem like guys that are confident enough to have better living conditions and I wouldn't mind being able to smash some freaking heads open with my new power. So why not, I would be happy to be that special bioweapon that you guys had always wanted," she said with no fear in her tone.

Zik slowly smiled since the girl made the right choice and little violence had be used for their first encounter with her. Max D. Cap smells something suspicious as he stood and wondered what it was that's making him seem worried. Soon as he recognized it, he knew exactly what's heading their way as he clutched his powerful right hand.

"Perhaps the girl should prove her worth and actually kill one of them since they could he heading here because of her," the fleshy monster said.

Zik heard the hideously transformed Neff's suggestion and stoked his mustache as he thought about this plan.

"Well that's not a bad idea at all. We haven't seen what powerful capabilities this woman has and it could be a blessing to know how much use she'd have on our ship," he said before chuckling to himself.

The Magician looked over to the side and watched as something red was flying from the mansion, knowing what situation they would be in since the heroes already knew of their arrival.

"Splendid suggestions, Neff and Master Zik. It would be great to at least see how powerful she is in combat. My only concern is that her having the Chaos Emerald's power in the woman's veins is enough to justify her as something on my level," he said while watching their next target.

"It's alright guys, this guy should be no problem for me to handle at all since I practically sent that loser flying out of the mansion. So dealing with a silly mummy and his chattering skull companion shouldn't be too much for me," Varla said before cracking her knuckles.

"That's more like it, get that bloodlust flowing through you before getting into encounter with those fools. As a matter of a fact, just leave old Chuck to me since I have a personal score to settle with him," the ruler of Hell said with a sinister grin.

Zik looks over at his demonic ally and knew that plenty of arrogance was showing in his last statement.

"Now Max, are you sure that you can handle this alone? We all know what happened with Death Adder when he wanted to face his nemesis alone in Yuria," the concerned Zeti master said.

"What the hell do you mean "are you sure"? I was destined to burn that two faced undead fool since the day he challenged me on Body Island and defeated me long ago. If you are here thinking that some woman with a gem's power is enough to kill Chuck then you are wrong!" the demon bellowed.

Zik glared at the prideful Max and flew over to him with the feeling that he's dealing with a spoiled child.

"We shouldn't underestimate these guys at all, even if one is someone you knew of long ago. The fact that you were defeated by him previously show that you haven't learned a thing in the past. While the same could be said about me and my younger Zeti brethren, we were aware of these mistakes and learned to get stronger just so that failure isn't an option again. But if you honestly think that you can take this challenge, then show us that you can and not mess up," the wise Zeti warned.

The demon knew that he is very confident about defeating Chuck D. Head once and for all and felt no need to listen to his nagging blue ally at all.

"You want me to prove it to you? Then I'll gladly do so in a way that I can defeat both of them without that woman's help at all. Because I am fired up about burning someone and it's about to be someone who's grudge that will be ended soon!" he said in a more monstrous voice.

The obese demon then jumped into the air heading in the direction of the high flying heroes that were in his way. His eyes glow red as he grew even angrier and emits a loud roar that could startle Varla easily. The demon's body slowly started to grow as he levitated, expanding certain parts of his body to massive proportions as the demonic blood rushes through his veins. His skin started to bulge with even more muscle with massive veins forming where they were more tighter and more blood flow were involved. Chuck knew that what was happening with his long time foe wasn't good and he was happy to finally meet him somewhere that no one would get involved in. Max's face changed from being something associated to a fat fool to something akin to a vicious monster that originated from the dark depths of the eternal flames itself.

He was now at a size comparable to how big he was during his last fight with Chuck, but something was now much different about the newly transformed dark being. He know spouted two powerful red wings from his back like a creature out of Hell and his claws grew much longer for tearing through foes like knives slicing butter. Head himself started shivering in fear once he took a look at their old nemesis since he's definitely serious about settling the score and killing them for good. Opa Opa noticed tons of supernatural energy coming from the demon's body with his visor and knew that it was best if his mummy ally could handle this in a more careful way.

"Opa Opa suggest that if you're thinking about facing this monster, try to be careful and use a more strategic way to beat him. Opa Opa's thinking about taking Varla away for her safely since those guys seem like they're close to taking her," the concerned ship said.

"You don't worry at all, I've got this covered since this grudge needs to end here and now. He will pay dearly for what he did to my home just like the rest of these Subspace freaks," he said.

Despite Head's reluctance to go anywhere near the demonic version of Max D. Cap, the determined mummy leapt off of their ally and aimed to the softest ground to land. The demon saw where he's planning to go and dropped straight to the ground with all his power to reach the ground faster. The two undead fighters had finally crashed to the ground to shake the dead earth, showing how serious they were about the bloodshed that would ensure. Chuck then charges at him at full forced with the terrified Head screaming like a kid on a scary ride. The newly transformed Max stood his ground since he knows that it won't be any bad like their last battle. But this time, Chuck was seriously fired up about wanting to put an end to him and his muscles were fully tightened. The mummy them got up close and launched his second head to deal a deadly headbutt to his massive red gut. While Max did didn't feel too much damage, he still got pretty hurt since his enemy's rage made him slightly as strong as him.

The demon let out a roar of agony since that headbutt was strong enough to pierce his very body and he retaliates with a powerful claw swipe. Chuck jumps out of the way easily and used this opportunity to launch Head at the demon's shoulder. The skull was able to come in contact with it and it barely phased his body at all since he was nothing but a plain skull that lacked Chuck's monster strength.

"Chuck, are you sure that you make the right choice?" he said with his eyes swirling in a daze.

Max then grabbed the skull and threw him back at Chuck after swinging his arm like a piston for more force. Chuck then knew that he has no choice but to think of another tactic to defeat his stronger foe.

"Hey Head, heads up since I have a plan!" he shouts before stretching his face out of his chest.

Before the skull could say a word, he would eventually be swallowed by his own bandaged ally and be gulped down until further notice. Max watched this closely since he would rather both underestimate his foe like the last time and growls in suspicion. Now Chuck himself was fired up and ready to attack at full force again.

"Hey Max, now it's actually a fight between me and you like old times! Get ready to keep your heart rate fast since it might stop pumping once I get through with you," he bellowed with his teeth baring.

The massive demon then stomps angrily with both feet like an overgrown sumo wrestler and let out another hellish roar to show that he is accepting the mummy's challenge. He then charged like a raging bull with his head first in an attempt to ram his foe as Chuck ran ahead to prepare for some good old fashioned bull handling. Chuck used his muscular arms to stop the demon dead in his tracks and used the bit of rage he had to hold him in place before anything strange happens. The terrifying demon knew that his now larger horns could get in the way and now used his clawed hands to help push himself harder by scraping against the dry earth. This is now an intense struggle between to the undead monsters and things were getting really intense.

Meanwhile, Opa Opa would eventually be confronted with an old foe before he was able to do his part of their new mission. Zik, Aggar, and The Magician looked above at the paralyzed winged ship for which he had finally met his match, or shall we say his maker. A larger version of him hovered before him with a wingspans that could even make Hangedman jealous and his size was three times larger than Opa Opa. It turns our to be none other than his revived father O-Papa, who was redesigned to match his appearance of the Nexus Pa (a previous invader of Opa Opa's galaxy). This ship was original known as the hero of his very galaxy until the day it turned out that he was the leader of the malicious Menon race, just as a form of testing him. It would then be later that he would be integral in helping him out in killing his son's evil doppelgänger before the Evil Master had killed him later on. Now Opa Opa's old man was back in his glory, but now following the wrong path that a hero of the galaxy wouldn't follow. The younger ship knew that what had be done needed to be done since there's chance that he was fully reprogrammed to be the Legion's slave and their own personal bomber ship as they slowly take over the the world.

"Papa, Opa Opa is surprised that you would be doing this again and this time for the wrong reasons. Remember when you were supposed to protect our planet Menon and not when you would be doing this to Earth? Please, give me a sign that you have some fight into you," he said in a sad tone.

The larger ship just remained fully ascended before his son and didn't utter a single word as he flaps his massive wings. Instead, it launched a few blue Menons at him without warning and the surprised ship dodged them with an aileron roll. The now loyal bomber of the Legion of Subspace had zero time for negotiations and wanted to do his team a favor by killing their smaller pest. Opa Opa was in no mood to fight his old man again without a reason for what he's doing and wanted to ask him about everything that happened.

"Papa, what happened to you back on Menon? I thought you were supposed to be a hero instead of a power-hungry battleship again! While it's nice to see you alive with a fresh coat of paint, it's highly upsetting to hear about the damage you are causing to my friends' planet!" he said in a pleading voice.

The larger ship still ignored his requests like he's the strong silent type, watching his smaller son from afar and scanning his very target. Zik and The Magician watched from below as Varla stood her ground as the emotional conflict between two formerly close relatives were about to begin.

"Magician, are you sure about things getting any intense with these two. Because their value of family is the one thing that's really keeping that young one from fighting," the elderly Zeti said.

"Relax my dear friend, the two of them will start fighting sooner or later and he would wind up destroying him like the many other air force fleets that tried to stop our plans. He's fully invincible and the ultimate machine of destruction with the help of our leaders' advanced technology and knowledge of the mechanical Menonian citizens," The Magician responded

Opa Opa still flutters in his place as he watched his father and wait for an answer from him since he's been silt about it lately. O-Papa still ominously float in his place with the new intimidating design his body had and never spoke another word to his son. This was the moment of truth and the ultimate test since he was forced to kill his other half back on his home planet as the young sentient ship couldn't take it any more. Tears started to seep out of the glass of his cockpit visor and his body started visibly shaking during this emotional moment.

"Papa! Just speak already!" he shouts before flying at him at full speed.

O-Papa then charges the twins guns from either side of his underbelly and prepared to attack his son. Opa Opa would shoot at Ultra Bomb at him to give him the wake-up call he needed, until O-Papa rose into the air at a surprising speed. The little ship would be surprised about missing him and little did he know about the fact that the larger father was preparing to blast him with his guns.

"O-Papa must destroy his inferior son!" he said before firing at will.

"The purple blasts would allow bright light to shine above the smaller ship's body and he trend abound a bit too late. He then had the right idea to use his engine to boost out of the way and find another way to attack him. The blasts that were shot from O-Papa crashed before the villains below at distance where they couldn't be harmed from the shots. Varla had the right moment to cover her ears since this would be one noisy battle that could take a while. Opa Opa would do a massive flip to fly above his entire father into higher ground and drop a series of more bombs. The bombs cause minimal damage to the ship's more defensive body and he turned his nose upwards to get a good view of his son. O-Papa made sure to scan his smaller son's next movement so that he would know how to counterattack his next plan. He then decided to charge even more energy for a well timed shot since it appeared that Opa Opa wanted to be more "up close and personal".

"You can't be doing this, Papa! You are not supposed to be as evil as the Dark Master. Snap out of it!" he said before selecting his next weapon.

He now started to pellet him with a series of powerful spread shots to give his body even more serious damage. Despite this, his skin was much tougher than their last encounter and he had less visible scars from these overwhelming shots. O-Papa fired his shots at the smaller ship, which were bigger and more powerful than the ones he shot earlier. This would lead the heroic ship to use his Laser Beam to split the blasts in half and deal a good hit to his father's visor. O-Papa groaned and shields his face with his right wing after that last attack since the visor is one of the more vulnerable part of his body. Soon as he uncovered his mechanical face, a massive 16-ton weight would be smashed atop his body and send him sinking to the ground. Opa Opa's Heavy Bomb would be proven as complete useful in applying some serious pressure on his father's larger body. The Magician would be alarmed by what he saw and subtly growls to show his disapproval of their special bomber losing to an inferior model.

"This isn't good, there's no way possible that he should be taking that much of a beating from him. Those fools are really going to regret…"

The horned creation would be eventually sent flying by a powerful dropkick from the zombie husband that leapt from his trademark vehicle, with his supportive wife keeping watch from their Graveyard Dragster. Master Zik would be alarmed by what happened and raised his staff in self defense while Aggar roars in anger.

"Looks like we have some company that appears to be here to take our prized weapon away from us. Perhaps it would be the time for her to prove her worth," he said with his guard up.

"She's nothing but a weapon to you? Please, she needs to make her own decisions and live with her friends instead of being used for selfish deeds like conquering others. Then again, I'm already talking with an old geezer who's close to death himself," Zobiko said abruptly.

The blue Zeti would then hopped aboard his staff and charge dead at her in anger.

"Young ones like you would most likely die young for disrespecting your elders!" he said said with his eyes widened.

The zombie wife had her weapon ready to shoot him in case he planned on attacking her while she's in the car, showing little to no fear to the Zeti's pursuit. Out of the blue, Shadow reappeared in front of the Graveyard Dragster and kicked the vengeful Master Zik away from his old friend. He would be sent flying towards a nearby gravestone just to be crashed from the force of Shadow's surprise attack. The black hedgehog dropped to the ground and made sure that Zobiko was perfectly unharmed from his pursuit.

"Are you alright, Zobiko?" he aced urgently.

"Zobiko then took out her black comb and made surethat not a single hair was messed up given she was pretty scared about that old coot attacking her for that last insult.

"Yeah, I'm fine Shadow. My hubby picked a fight with Curien's best creation and I hope he doesn't get himself in too much trouble given we struggled against The Star earlier," she replied.

He looked at the blue Zeti that slowly got up from his site of impact and rubs his back to sooth his aging body.

"Good, because this one's mine since I know he was the one behind the World Draining Incident years ago. The Deadly Six are seriously kidding if they think that they can pull off something similar again to our world. Stay there and try not to get into any trouble, Zobiko," he said before walking in the direction of the graveyard before him.

Zobiko obediently nodded and focuses her attention on the fight that would ensue between her husband and The Magician in the west. The gargoyle-esque creature stood before Zobio with his claws in a more defensive gesture and his empty eyes looking back at him. While this is his first time facing off against a creation that's vastly superior than The Star and Justice, zombie husband did a smug chuckle to show that he's ready for a fight. Varla watched this fight from afar with a look of shock since there could be a slight possibility that he might think about going after her if she thinks about running away. Another thought that came to mind is that she can be free if this brave undead soul were to somehow defeat him were he stands.

"So you must be Dr. Curien's all time favorite child of the rest of these mutated freaks. So tell me, how does it feel to come face-to-face with the one who used to serve as his old prison guard," he said before wiping his mouth.

"You are quite the talker for someone of little importance to my former master and you would be in the same place as him if you think it's a good idea to face me. I am the one who reigns supreme over anything, whether it's humanity or even the dead itself. You must be quite the confident one to really think that you can keep up with my speed," he said in a gravely voice.

The zombie husband puts up his dukes and did a powerful pose to show that he would least care about this being's confidence in judging his opponent's fate.

"Well the thing is that I don't care about your speed or any other tricks that you have up your sleeve. If I was able to think of a plan to overcome The Star's little tornados, then I can handle anything that you've got for me," he said with an arrogant smile.

The Magician the goes back into his trademark stance and looks over at his inferior opponent's optimism with his usual dismal face.

"Very well, inferior being. Your fate is in my hands and that means you won't be seeing the light of day after this fight," he said calmly.

The mysterious being would then flash towards him at a speed fast than the speed of wind and prepare for a powerful claw swipe. Zobio punched the being in his right shoulder, which had the exposed muscle that was begging to be attacked. While he necessarily felt the pain, The Magician attacked him with a slash to his chest with his other arm. Zobio cared little about his flesh wound and focused his efforts of defeating the his powerful opponent by kicking another exposed weak point. The powerful being would then grab his heavier target and throw him in other direction with his strength. He would also launch a series of fast moving fireballs where Zobio was to make sure that he wasn't breathing after this.

"You should learn not to underestimate someone who is above all. And let this be a lesson to learn when your soul rests in the afterlife," The Magician said after watching the explosions occur before his eyes.

As the smoke clouds the area, apples would be fired dead at the Magician's body at rapid fire. Most of them were able to hit the armored parts of his body, while some of the red fruit was able to harm his more sensitive flanks.

This fool is still alive? I guess this is what happens when you are dealing with those who think they have what it takes to beat me.

Zobio would then launch himself out of the cloudily smoke and tackle The Magician at full force like a hound vengeful on tearing his prey apart. He had successfully pinned the being down with his weight and starts to violently punch his face with his powerful hands in a fit of rage. The more he punched the creature's face, the more he actually started to crack around it since Zobio's strength was indeed on part with his's. Zobiko was relieved about the situation and kept watching from afar just to make sure that she can cheer her husband on at a safer distance. The Magician would eventually raise a clawed hand at his opponent's face and launched a fireball knock him off of his body. Zobio would be rolling on the reground with his blue shirt in flames to ensure that his entire outfit doesn't burn away while his flesh was also slightly charred from the sneak attack. The powerful creature stood back to his feet and knew that it was best to give him a more aerial approach to things since it wouldn't risk him being attacked like that again.

"Like I've said earlier, your fate is in my hands and nothing shall grant you an easy victory. This is what happens when you face The Magician," he said as his ascends into the air.

As the zombie husband got done with his fire emergency tactics, he would then notice the demonic mutant preparing to fire an onslaught of fireballs at him. Zobio would eventually get to his feet and start running to avoid each and every one of them that blasts against the dead earth from behind him. Meanwhile, Zik was now in a heated fight with the Ultimate Life form as the two were in the middle of a high speed battle in the air. The Zeti's speed was now on par with Sonic and Shadow thanks to the years of training that they had done since their defeat at the hands of the Blue Blur on the Lost Hex. Shadow was actually impressed with the elderly Zeti's speed, but knew that taking him down was his higher priority for the night.

"Chaooooooosssss Burst!" he yelled while pulling his arms down.

A purple force field of Chaos Energy formed around him and Zik would eventually be knocked away by it for coming in collision with him. The founder of the Deadly Six would quickly recover launch his own staff at Shadow from afar. The black hedgehog would warp away from the staff's view as it keep moving around the air like a shark hunting for prey. Soon as Shadow reappeared above Zik for a sneak attack, the wise Zeti would dodge his kick and the staff directly attacks him. Master Zik performed another gesture with his finger and the staff would smack Shadow in another direction in a single swing. He managed to plant his rocket shoes into the ground to stop his flight and the weight of his body causes him to skid across the barren dusty ground. Shadow would eventually glare back at the blue Zeti to show that he's still ready for another round with him. Master Zik would stand atop the head of his staff and tauntingly strong his mustache.

"Heh, you're not bad than I thought. You are indeed on par with the blue one, if not, stronger than him. But we couldn't tell at first since Nack did a great job at making him the submissive prisoner for Eggman and the entire Legion's personal living punching bag. I'm not going to lie and say that it wasn't pretty fun beating him to relieve our stress and enjoying his screams of pain," he said in his usual poetic tone.

Shadow thought about the Zeti's words and stood in a more formal pose since he had some questions for him.

"So you guys really did managed to hold him prisoner after all. Hearing you have your lust for beating was interesting, but you do have a few things to tell me before we continue fighting. What are you Legion members after with the Chaos Emeralds and why do you need Sonic in the first place?" he demanded.

The elderly Zeti let out a creepy laugh as he thought about the brash young one asking him for information.

"Well now that you've asked, I'll gladly let you know that we do need to get those emeralds somehow so we figured that kidnapping him and having you guys hand them over to us would be a great way of guaranteeing the prevention of his execution. As for what we really need them for, let's just say that we have someone on our side that will recreate this entire planet into something more fitting for us. He is known as The Dark One, but that's as far as I'll going since stopping you is a higher priority," Zik explained.

Aggar was ready to finally kill someone now that Shadow wasn't paying attention and prepared to launch one of his heads at him. It wasn't until he felt the earth crumbling below him and his entire body starting to tilt. Turns out it was Ralph's doing since he arrived in time to wreck the Legion where they were.

The bad guy with the big hands had the right idea of lifting the earth below Aggar's fleshy mass and tipping him over since having him fall apart easily was part of his plan. Ralph heaves heavily with sweat dripping from his head as he continuously lifts factored part of the ground where the fleshy monster stood.

"You, aren't going to get away with this, fool. Time to make sure that you never rise from your future grave!" the transformed Neff hissed in anger.

The first thing he did was attempting to tear his head off as his body kept tipping just to make sure he at least bites Ralph before going down. The video game villain looked up to notice what Aggar was planning and had to hurry quickly before he would be monster food.

"Sorry pal, but it looks like your life will be lost after I deal some damage to that immobile body of yours. I'm badder and that's good!" he remarked before lifting the slab with all his might.

The fleshy monster was close to tossing his head, but could feel gravity tugging at his back and his limbs growing weaker. Ralph had successfully tipped the slab of earth in the other direction and watches as the titanic living flesh monster fall towards the ground. The creature bellowed mournfully as his torso was starting to detach itself from the other half, which splats again the ground in a heaping pile of smelly flesh with bones. The upper half of Aggar fell inches away from the splattered remains of his lower body and he arms grew limp from the bodily separation. Then Ralph had the right idea of using that massive piece of earth he used to tip him over and slams it atop of the defeated monster's body. The angry heavyset man would start rapidly punching that piece that laid across Aggar's body to ensure that he doesn't move a single muscle within the next fifteen minutes. Then Zik would be sent flying in Ralph's direction only to be punched by him since the Zeti was unfortunate enough to be near him when he's pumped up.

"Sorry about that, or shall I say not sorry!" he said with a smug grin.

Shadow would run towards his video game veteran ally and see if he was alright after his encounter with one of Neff's more disturbing forms.

"So you managed to defeat that rotten freak bringing down the ground? Great work to expect out of an experience villain from an arcade game," the hedgehog said with a slight smile.

"No problem Shadow, I'm the OG bad guy that causes trouble for the main hero for 30 years. If there's nothing I can't beat, it would be violent and scary games where you can get shot at," Ralph said while stroking his back.

The two would eventually look at Zobio who was struggling to keep up with The Magician's aerial fireballs and failing to shoot at his body with his only ranged weapon. Then they would notice Opa Opa having a heated dogfight with his father in the skies and things were getting more intense since one of the latter's wings were heavily damaged.

"So Opa Opa is still having family problems while Zobio picked the wrong guy to fight? Not surprised and I was hoping for the others to show up by now, especially those ChuChus," Shadow said shaking his head.

Suddenly, a large burning sound could be heard towards the south for which it appears Max was getting the upper hand.

"What was that? Is that mummy guy failing to win already?" the arcade bad guy said.

And it indeed appears that Chuck and Head had been completely fried by the enhanced hellfire breath from the demon's enhanced form. The hulking red brute would watch as his nemesis struggled to move because of how powerful his flames were, even to the point of demonic laughter at their misfortune. Then he would proceed to jump into the air and start repeatedly stomping the defeated mummy until he would be nothing but charred flesh that has nothing to contain it. Zobiko couldn't bear watching the entire scene and covers her eyes since she know that there's nothing she can do while everyone else was busy.

"Is that guy out of his mind? He's going to kill him! Shadow, we need to get out there and help him!" Ralph demanded.

It wasn't long until a familiar Zeti would reappear above the two atop a hovering large watermelon with twenty spiked balls orbiting him. Shadow gets into a more aggressive pose since his opponent just didn't know when to give up and he had his biggest attack prepared to stop them.

"If you honestly think that you can help your allies without defeating me first, then you've thought wrong brash hedgehog," said before giggling.

Ralph knew he had no choice but to help Shadow fight this deadly lunatic since getting back him would not be too easy as long as those spiked balls exists.

The massive red demon finally jumped back from all the stomping he had done to take a look at his defeated nemesis. Chuck was now a jumbled mess with broken limbs, ripped bandages, swelling bruises, black eyes, and broken teeth. Head was no better for which his eyes were struggling to fall out their sockets and certain parts of his entire skull were cracked from that beating. The demon then laughs with his dull warped voice as the two struggled to move from their spot and which Zobiko saw the whole thing. She really wanted to help in someway, but she lacked the combat experience her husband had and knew that interfering would probably result in her winding up like the ones she's worried about.

"Chuck! Head! Please try to run away and not let yourselves die like that!" she said with tears in her eyes.

Despite her desperate words, the two were so weak that they couldn't move a single muscle from what happened earlier. Max D. Cap was now eager to put these two out their misery and took a deep breath to prepare for his final hellish onslaught on them. As the two still struggled to move from their spot, the area in front of them started to get hotted and bright due to the heat being gathered in their enemy's mouth.

"This is it Head, this is the moment where I can blame you for everything that's happened. At least I can rest in the afterlife and hopefully not be anywhere near you," the mummy complained in a weak tone.

"Oh shut up, Chuckie! You do know that it was your idea to face that fat red hot jerk to begin with. And here we are awaiting what would be our ideal place of living for eternity," the skull said with tears in his eyes.

Shadow and Ralph were to busy dodging the heavy weapon fire from Zik's telekinesis and The Magician was now preparing to launch a massive fireball at the tired Zobio. The zombie was now at the point where he was no longer in any condition of fighting a superior being anymore and watched as the hellish creature held the inflammatory ball of death in his hands.

"Rest in peace, inferior being," Curien's powerful being said before launching it at him.

Zobiko was now at the point of screaming for the safety of her friends and things seemed very bleak for their survival. A flash of yellow blurred past Zik and the strong winds from it brushed aside his black cloak. The curious Zeti looked aside to see what it was and focuses his attention off of his opponents. Then a powerful suction could be seen sucking the watermelon he stand on and he struggles to keep his balance atop the green spherical fruit.

"What is the meaning of this? A new challenger approaches?" Zik said before finally falling off it.

The suction then pulls the watermelon towards the West where Zobio was it would would be split apart by the fireball launched by The Magician. An explosion of pink occurred which would result in watermelon juice and massive chunks of it flying all over the place. It would then splatter on Ralph, Shadow, Zobio, the Wreck It Mobile, Graveyard Dragster, the fallen Zik, and Zobiko to make the situation even more sticky. The superior being then snarls since he failed to kill his prey and Zobio would be surprised at the fact that a massive fruit saved him. The melon's destruction was loud enough for Max to turn around with the flames string in his mouth since the demon wanted to see what it was. Then the flash of yellow would zoom into the sky where Opa Opa and O-Papa where and get in the middle of their fight. The yellow speed demon would then be revealed as a yellow star shaped device that is piloted by a cute pink puffball.

"Opa Opa senses a terrible life form! Get out of my way and let me face Papa alone," the startled ship said before launching an Ultra Bomb at the mysterious creature.

The puffball would then inhale the blue torpedo with his powerful suction as his mouth fully engulfed the explosive. This would then results in the creature to chew it like its a meal to much of the two Menonians' confusion. Then a flash of yellow would appear on the Popstarian citizen's head to reveal that he now had a red and white target cap on. This literally confused Opa Opa to the point of him stroking his head. It wasn't until the Chu Chu's Rocket would drop out of the sky and land on top of the distracted O-Papa. This would then give the pink puff an idea jump off his Warp Star and transform into a massive pink missile himself. The ChuChu Rocket would eventually launch on top of the large ship to damage him with it's powerful jet flames before the transformed missile would finally meet him. It was a miracle that the rocket had fully launched before the explosion would occur from the pink creature's risky fact that O-Papa was fully damaged by his friends and the mysterious pink invader gave Opa Opa the idea to use his Heavy Bomb again to send his old man to the ground.

"Sorry Papa, but this is for your own good! Take yourself back to the ground where you can finally rest and not be used for evil anymore," he said with tears in his eyes.

The same 16-ton weight appeared above the heavily battered ship and it crashed upon his head with severe impact, fully breaking his visor and crushing a large portion of his back. The pink creature would eventually spit the Ultra Bomb he swallowed earlier back at his to really finish him off. This would cause ship to slowly start getting hot internally as the explosions ruptured within his mechanical body like a chain as his entire body sinks.

"O-Papa is very proud of how …. far his son had gotten. Thank you for sending me back to where I belong and freeing me…. from their devious control," he said as he slowly fell towards the ground.

Being forced to kill his father was the hardest thing for Opa Opa to do and the ship turned away from the sight with tears seeping from his visor. Since it was best to not communicate with him, the pink warrior had the idea to finish the job with the other Legion members since he's hungry for watermelon. The Magician was too shocked at the entire outcome of his plan falling apart and watch as the defeated O-Papa met the ground and explodes abruptly. The powerful creation was at the pint where he's mad at what happened and wanted to burn everyone that was around him for what happened.

"You weak beings honestly think that making a fool of me would get you anywhere? Then I think it is best for me to really get serious and destroy all of you!" he said before clutching his clawed hand tightly.

It wasn't long until the agents were seen trying to take Chuck away for safety, which would get the attention of the newly transformed Max D. Cap.

"G, are you sure that we should be helping these two out when the freaking devil is standing before us? Sometimes, I just don't get the way you even think things through," Washington said loudly while dragging Chuck's body.

"It wouldn't matter anyways Washington since this is also a part of our mission. He's an ally and we must never leave him behind or let him die at the hands of our enemies. We've already lost Varla in the past and we should never let the same happen for any of our new accomplices," G reassured.

It wasn't long until the vengeful demon would eventually launch the flames out of his mouth and try to kill all four of them before they get away. Before G and Washington would scream, the pink warrior appeared before them with his Warp Star and fully inhales the flames before him. They thought that they would die along with Chuck and Head, but were heavily relieved one they looked at their savior absorbing the flames in his massive mouth. This tough pink warrior would be known by the name of Kirby and he was the puffball that Dedede was looking for until he had the idea of betraying his team. Both Shadow and Ralph were surprised to see this foreign pink warrior saving their hides since it only leaves them to deal with The Magician and saving Varla. The elderly Zeti slowly tried to lift himself off the ground with his famed staff and would be amazed at what he saw. Kirby had finally swallowed every ounce of flame that Max breathed and quickly transformed into one of his more useful Copy Abilities. With his flaming tiara that feels hotter than your average oven and that fiery determination in his eyes, Fire Kirby was now ready to dish out the pain on the demon.

"He managed to swallow that arrogant demon's flames like they were nothing and pulled my watermelon out of orbit with the same force. Who is that pink warrior?" the skeptical Zik said.

Fire Kirby would eventually inhale deeply before unleashing a stream of powerful flames at the demon's body to burn him down. Max struggled to hold the flames down with his hands and could feel his skin getting hotter than his own flames and body temperature rising. The pink warrior kept breathing these infernal flames at the demon as his target struggled to maintain his natural body temperature. Chuck couldn't believe his eyes and Head dropped his skull since this cute puff was doing a better job than them.

"Just who is that pink little monster?" he said in awe.

"You just have no freaking clue how weird this entire day was. But we better thank God that he sent something powerful to save our asses from burning alive," said the impressed Washington.

Shadow was now beating The Magician at his own game since his speed vastly surpasses his own and the Ultimate Life form dealt with beings stronger than him.

"Just give up already, your little plan was a failure to begin with and Varla is not going to side with you at all. The fact that she did little to help you even show where her true loyalty goes," he bragged while dodging his foe's fireballs.

"You shouldn't even think about mocking me at all, rodent. I am the superior being that rules over anything in this suffering world. Humanity should cease to exist because they had been slowly destroying this planet long enough," the creature said before launching himself at Shadow.

The black hedgehog would grab the Magician by his arms and knock him towards the ground with a powerful kick to his head. The impact of the kick alone was able to shatter the armoring on his face and remove the same muscly, fleshy detail his unarmored week points had. Then Curien's favorite creation would eventually crash against the ground and the nearby Varla finally had the opportunity to extract her plan. As the the demon's body would eventually have a temperature that far exceeds his own firepower, he roars in pain as the determined Kirby kept burning him. It wasn't long until he would be attacked by the rapid fire shots of flaming bullets from above since Zephyr was finally back from his fall.

"Looks like we shown up in the nick of time after all. If it weren't for the ChuChus' rocket, then we would have been too late," the blonde boy said during his fall.

During the midst of the Chaos, Neff would slowly crawly from under the rubble in his Rhinoceros Man form feeling the pain from his earlier beatings.

"Uuugggh, I should have had a more mobile form to avoid such an obvious trap again. I just hope that things are going ok for my group," he said while standing up from the ground.

He would eventually turn around to notice the heroes easily trumping their plan with his demon ally slowly dying from flames and Varla giving The Magician a violent beatdown. This would heavily displease the purple horned demon since this was the third time he failed to help his allies win another fight. On top of that, Zik started to fly back towards the warship with his staff since there wasn't much he could do to help out.

"Looks like we managed to lose yet again, it's time to retreat for now and explain ourselves to the others," he said in a tired tone.

The anthropomorphic rhino would then teleport in a burst of purple smoke to leave the scene. Soon as Kirby stopped breathing fire and Zephyr ceased fire, they had the right idea that Max was now in the process of dying and watched as he writhes in pain. G and Washington tried to lift Chuck back to his feet despite his severe damage and dusted Head's cranium to clean them up.

"Thanks guys, I would have been dead if it weren't for you," he said in fatigue.

"No need to thank us, Zephyr and that pink puff should be the ones to thank since they made things easier," G said modestly.

"While that fat bastard slowly burns to a crisp, we should be more concerned about Varla on the other side since I did see her getting close to The Magician earlier," the impatient detective demanded.

Zephyr looked back at his allies when he heard that and had something to say.

"You don't need to worry about her, she's currently kicking his butt as we speak and that was the last thing I saw before helping you guys out," he said before reloading one of his guns.

Kirby himself would even confused about what they said and said, "Poyo?".

Suddenly, flocks of Shadow Fiends would slowly crawl past the heroes in a form of smoke since they were aware of their master on the verge of dying.

"What the hell are those things?" Washington said before aiming at these unearthly creatures.

The fired shots were useless since bullets are the few manmade weapons that can't harm these creatures and they kept moving no matter what. Even Zephyr shot at these smokey creatures with his guns in an attempt to slow them down with nothing good coming out of it. Kirby would then eject the flames that he had earlier to burn these creatures before they could think about assimilating with The Magician's body. This would give the agents and Zephyr some time to head over where Varla was with Zobiko joining them since she was worried too. By time they've made it, what they saw would make all four of them gasp in horror. The Magician that was hyped as the strongest creation by Dr. Roy Curien was now reduced to a bloody mess with broken armor thanks to the efforts of Varla's power. The fact that her arms were covered in his undead blood and she was breathing heavily was a sign that every ounce of her anger was now gone.

"Did you…. do this to him, Varla?" G asked since he himself was disgusted by what she had done.

Without anywhere else go, Varla agree to join The Magician's group in an attempt to keep her own life instead of dying again. That was until several of the heroes arrived to pick a fight with the villains before they would do any harm to her. But their fights weren't easy for which Opa Opa had an emotional struggle to keep up with his old man and Chuck's effort to defeat the demonic Max D. Cap where futile. Then Kirby's sudden appearance would chance the outcome for everyone from knocking Zik off of his melon and helping Opa Opa deal the finishing blow on the former Menonian hero. Then the other heroes had appeared to make things easy by helping in the defeat of Max and The Magician. As for what happened with latter, let's just say that G was unhappy with how she's letting her bloodlust get the best of her. As per usual, the next chapter would happen next Friday and the promised filler chapter will be worked on "for real" this time. Let's just say that working on it should fully reflect my feeling on this years E3 and what impressed me the most. Expect me to include it sooner than you think and I promise you that the House of the Dead Arc will have a proper ending in the next non-filler chapter. Until then, I expect to see some follows and rates for this series. Bye!
