The day with Hagrid was just like last time, starting with the visit to Gringotts. Harry wasn't all that keen to go underground again. Last time, it didn't go so well, but at least the goblins don't know he'd managed to rob their bank. Of course, Hagrid still collected the Philosopher's Stone. He was looking forward to Hagrid giving him Hedwig as a present, he particularly missed her. There was also the visit to Ollivander's, Harry didn't know why, but the wandmaker seemed creepier than last time. Having bought everything he needed, Hagrid returns Harry to his relatives.

As for Hermione and Professor McGonagall, their memories came flooding back when Harry received his letter of admission to Hogwarts. Hermione burst into tears when she heard her parents' voices on the ground floor. Her parents were alive and remembering her, this time Hermione was going to be more honest with them. Her reaper Katherine had assured her that her parents would be open-minded, listening, and understanding. Apparently, her paternal grandfather was a squib from House Dagworth-Granger. His mother was related to some French House, but most likely her maternal great-grandparents.

This time, Professor McGonagall pick him up before September 1st for another visit to Gringotts. Her reaper had strongly advised her not to include the Headmaster in their plans. After some thought and discussion, she agreed that some of his actions were suspicious like erasing her memories when she went to him about the poor condition of the boy. Or when she and Hermione had been obliviated. All of the secrets, the half-truths were too much and he would want to control everything. She was truly disappointed to discover his actions or inactions of her long-time friend. So on her visit, on August 17, Professor McGonagall came with the excuse of removing the pigtail Hagrid give to Vernon and Dudley. They took the Knight Bus to the entry of Diagon Alley. They immediately go to the bank Professor McGonagall approached a desk available and attempt to have the attention of the goblin. "Name and state your business" the goblin rudely ask.

"Minerva McGonagall and Harry Potter to see the account manager of the Potter family. We have an appointment." Professor McGonagall stated.

"We do !?" Harry said to the professor, very surprised by this information.

"Yes, I took the liberty to make an appointment with your account manager.", respond Professor McGonagall

"A goblin will take you to his office." the goblin responded at the same time.

"Thank you" answered Harry both.

Harry and the Professor follow closely as the goblin leads them to the Gorluff goblin's office. Harry didn't know he had an account manager. He's relieved to know that the Professor has made an appointment to come and wait for a goblin to help him. They give the usual greetings.

"So Mr. Potter, first of all, I need to verify your identity to prove and second of all, do you authorise Mrs. McGonagall to be a part of this meeting?" asked Gorluff

"Hmm, yeah, she can stay. How do we verify my identity ?" Harry said unsure

"A few drops of your blood on this parchment will suffice to check you are." his account manger replied.

Harry give his hand to Gorluff so that he can slice his palm and when the blood reach the parchment, the names of his ancestor appear on it.

"Perfect, we can proceed. So what's the nature of this meeting? What Gringotts can do for you ?" Gorluff said

"I'm wondering if my parents left a copy of their will here, at the bank. If they did, I would like to open it" asked Harry nervously

"Your parents did leave a copy of their will in their vault. I was the official witness from Gringotts." the goblin responded

"Really !?" Harry exclaimed surprised, happy, and frustrated that he never knew.

"While we're waiting for a goblin to pick it up, do you have any other business?" asked Gorluff.

"No, I prefer to see the Will before any other actions," Harry answered while looking at his professor to be certain he's doing right.

A goblin arrives through a small door with some kind of box with the Potter crest on it. Gorluff takes it and put it in front of him. The professor tell him that he needs to touch the box on the lock so it can be open. The box will recognize his magic as the heir. Inside the beautiful box, we can see the will with a letter:

"I, Lily Potter (nee Evans), and, I, James Fleamont Potter, on October 3, 1981, declare this our last will and testament. All previous wills are declared null and void. This will have been witnessed by Frank and Alice Longbottom, Albus Dumbledore, and certified by account manager Gorluff of Gringotts. We hereby declare that if one of us survives, everything is to be transferred to the one alive. If myself and my husband, precede our son, Harry James Potter, in death before his 17th birthday, his guardianship be transferred to his godfather Sirius Orion Black. If Sirius Black is unable or unwilling to care for Harry Potter, then his guardianship will pass to Frank and his godmother Alice Longbottom. If Frank and Alice Longbottom are unwilling or unable to care for Harry Potter, then his guardianship will pass to Andromeda (nee Black) and Edward Tonks. If Andromeda and Edward Tonks are unwilling or unable to care for Harry Potter, then his guardianship will be to Minerva Isobel McGonagall. If nobody is willing or able to care for Harry Potter, then his guardianship may pass to the State. Our son Harry James Potter shall never be given to Petunia (nee Evans) and Vernon Dursley. We believe that he will grow up in a poor environment since both of them are afraid of magic and that Lily's sister dishonored her.

We decree that all individual and joint possessions and finances of Lily and James Fleamont Potter be transferred to the sole ownership of Harry James Potter and that their use be overseen and administered by the discretion and wisdom of his guardian until Harry Potter reaches the age of 17, at which time, control of said assets will revert to his sole discretion and control.

P.S. Our secret keeper was Peter Pettigrew. We use Sirius as a decoy to throw off our enemies. Make sure to send a copy of this will to the DLME to exonerate Sirus of any culpability.

Lord James Potter & Lady Lily Potter (nee Evans)"

The rest of the will contains the distribution of some money to others and a list of proprieties, shares, etc.

After the reading of Will, Harry demands a copy to eventually be sent to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement since it contains proof that the Rat was the one who sold out his parents. They decide to use the professor as his guardian since she's on the list. Gorluff gives him the heir ring too, something he didn't the last time. McGonagall told Harry that usually, this type of ring possesses protections against potions and nefarious spells. It should help him protect his mind better too. She told him that Hermione has one [Ross's heir ring] too, she gave it to her discreetly when she accompanied Hermione's family to Diagon Alley. His business finished with the bank, the both of them went to the Flourish and Blotts and what is the chance to meet for the "first time" Hermione and her parents. No, that was definitely planned by them. Harry feels like his magic is trying to reach Hermione's magic, there was a feeling of familiarity. The plan was to have Hermione beg her parents to invite Harry for the rest of the summer. It's not as if Dumbledore is going to check out, he never did. Minerva made sure he didn't have any charm on Harry and Arabella Figgs was too preoccupied with her cats. Since it was rare, that Hermione bonded so easily with other children and they recognized that Harry seems to live in a poor environment, they agreed. The professor told them she'd come and carry Harry with her things. They need to tell the Dursley, they will be glad to be rid of him, hoping to never get him back. Obviously, Harry had a much better summer than in his previous life.
