During dinner, Richard asks Hermione if she enjoyed her outing and what she did. Enthusiastically, Hermione begins to recount her first visit to the magical world at impressive speed. She was going so fast that the adults thought she was going to run out of air. Hermione's mother asks her to show her father her new heirloom rings, so Hermione makes two rings appear on her fingers. Alex explains to Richard that these are rings for the heirs of a house with important status in the magical world. One is for the ancient and noble House of Beaufort and the second is for the ancient and noble House of Dagworth-Granger. Finally, Alex informs him that he is now the legal guardian of the magical side for Hermione. So if anything happens to Hermione, he'll be contacted promptly.

Alex has decided to have his hours cut back to work part-time, he wants to devote himself to studying magic to pass the exams: O. W. L. s and N. E. W. T. s. He has decided to prepare himself if the magical world ever falls into war and Hermione is at the center of this conflict. Speaking of Hermione, she had already left for Hogwarts a week ago. As soon as she had time, she quickly sent us a letter:

Dear parents and Alex,

I hope you're well, I'm very well. The castle is magnificent, it's huge. The description in Hogwarts: A History is nothing compared to what I've seen so far. Dad, it really does have stairs that change direction, so I hope I don't get lost. I've met ghosts and the paintings interact, they're like alive. I've been sorted into the Gryffindor house, it's the house of the brave. I'm really happy! Alex, I took your advice and made some friends on the train. Unfortunately, they're not in the same house as me. Their names are Susan Bones and Hannah Abbot who is in the hard-working and loyal house, and Daphnee Greengrass in the cunning and ambitious house. I also met Harry Potter before entering the hall. His glasses were broken, so I fixed them. He was accompanied by another boy called Ronald Weasley, who seemed to be the only one speaking. Harry Potter doesn't seem to be like those books we saw in the library. They were interrupted by a very rude and arrogant boy, Susan told me, his name was Draco Malfoy. His father is supposedly one of the supremacists we read about in the history books of the last war. I'd like to write you more, but I want to reread my books and do my homework. I love you with all my heart!

Hermione J. Granger

P.s. I also asked the girls if they could help me better understand the role of heiress in an ancient and noble house.

Alex has bought himself a magical house in the Hampshire area, but still regularly visits the Grangers for dinner. He's really found a family with the Grangers. In the living room of his new home, Alex was reading a book on the basics of transfiguration when he heard a knock on the door. He wondered who it could be so late in the evening. He got up and left the living room to answer the door. He was surprised to see a woman standing in front of him... "Hello, are you Lord Alexandre Gilbert Beaufort?" the lady quickly asked.

"Yes, I am and you are? What can I do for you?" he asked nervously.

"I'm Amelia Bones, Susan's aunt, a good friend of your charge Hermione Granger. I'm also the director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement," replied Mrs. Bones.

"Is Hermione all right?" asks Alex worriedly. Not the troll, please, not the troll

"I gave a rapid communication device for emergencies to my niece. She contacted me about an incident at school involving Ms. Granger. A troll may have broken into Hogwarts. Ms. Granger is said to have been ambushed by the troll, before being rescued by Mr. Potter, Mr. Greengrass, Mr. Weasley and my niece herself. I've already sent an auror team to question the people involved," she explains.

Oh shit, I was hoping there wouldn't be a troll "I repeat, is she all right?" he asks again.

"That's why I'm here, I invite you to accompany me to the school to see our children," replies Madame Bones.

"Yes, absolutely, let me contact her parents and I'll be ready," says Alex.

While he quickly sent a letter to Jean and Richard, Amelia inspected the young man in front of her. He didn't appear to be very robust or dangerous, but she knew that could be deceptive. It's very irregular to have a muggle-born with a magical guardian other than the government or Hogwarts staff. Very intriguing. When he finished his letter, Amelia told him that they must take the floo to Hogsmead, as Hogwarts had closed its connection to the floo network.
