Lincoln was reeling, outside sirens brayed as several police officers and volunteers looked around for Lola. Shivering Lincoln conjured an image of the eight year old as they were playing outside earlier, Lola was so happy...
Lincoln blamed himself, if he hadn't of said yes to going for a Walk Lola would be here right now. Instead of lost or outside somewhere hurt.
Just the thought was enough for Lincoln to start tearing up. Lashing out Lincoln rubs his eyes hard, it wouldn't do Lola any good for him to star crying.
A soft knock on the door startled Lincoln, had they found Lola?
Feeling hopeful Lincoln is a little disappointed to see Leni standing in the doorway, the older girl looked like she'd been crying. Looking to his older sister for answers, Lincoln's hopes are dashed as Leni sat next to him and started sobbing.
Sharing her pain Lincoln wrapped an arm around his older sister, Leni was so close to him Lincoln could smell her hair. Sweet Jasmin Lincoln thought absently as Leni crushed him closer to her body, the older girl desperately seeking comfort in the arms of her brother. After awhile the two separate, Lincoln missed Leni's warmth but wouldn't admit it.
Leni tries to calm down enough to talk, " they haven't found her Lincoln. Lori called and said they'd be coming home soon, Lola's been gone over seven hours" Leni whispered.
Lincoln was crushed by this news, his parents and Lori had gone out with the police and several volunteers to see if they could find the missing girl.
The thought of Lola being dead crossed Lincoln's mind for the first time, it was simply horrifying to imagine anything bad happening to Lola.
Leni spoke quietly, " I don't know what to do, I feel so helpless. I wanted to go help look but mom made me stay behind".
Hearing the pain in his sisters voice made Lincoln cringe, Leni was sweet and kind. Seeing her hurt made Lincoln pull the older girl into a hug.
Squealing Leni marvels at how strong Lincoln had gotten, his warmth comforting her as Lincoln kissed her for head. " we just need to keep our hopes up, maybe we'll know more by tomorrow morning".
Lincoln's voice helped sooth the teen, Leni was deeply grateful for Lincoln's kindness. If not for him Leni would of completely fallen apart, Leni knew that the longer time went by the likely hood of Lola being found alive decreased. Being older Leni had the knowledge of what happened to the little boys and girls who disappeared.
It felt good to hope though, Leni snuggles into Lincoln content to stave of the inevitably. Lincoln flinched but didn't move, part of him craved this closeness. Lincoln bitterly wanted to believe what he told Leni but deep down inside he knew he would never see his sister again.
Throughout the house the remaining Louds all resided in some form of misery, Leni clung to Lincoln, Luna drank half a pint of vodka, Luan tried to comfort a distraught Lana, Lynn pounded her punching bag crying, Lisa busied herself attempting to track Lola's chip, while Lilly lay quietly stressed by the tense atmosphere.
The only person unaffected was Lucy, the goth was struggling to hide her glee. She did this.
Now Lucy was closer to getting Lincoln, she tried to get a hold of him earlier but mom kept questioning her. Lucy tired of the old cow, before she tolerated her but after Lola something broke in her. Lucy had enjoyed killing her sister, her mother was looking like a promising candidate though.
Creeping through the hallway Lucy can feel her anticipation rising, Lincoln should be all alone now and Lucy intended to comfort him anyway necessary. Lucy shuddered picturing Lincoln pinning her down and prying her legs open, demanding she submit to him. Lucy would too, basking in the sweet pleasure that only Lincoln would bring her.
Pressing her thighs together Lucy can hear them squelch with her moisture. It seems she'd gotten herself a little too worked up, the things she would do to Lincoln...
Almost too Lincoln's room, Lucy is grabbed by her mother. Infuriated Lucy was seething, the old bitch grabbed hold and dragged Lucy all the way back to her room.
Opening the door Rita scolded Lucy, " it's way past your bedtime and you know it Lucy".
Lucy bite her lip hard, tasting copper.
" I wanted to sleep with Lincoln".
Rita looked at her daughter in frustration, she was sure Lucy knew more than she said. Her instincts told her that Lucy was lying, she couldn't prove it however. Rita did not want absolutely under any circumstances for Lucy to be alone with the other kids. Lynn thought she was paranoid but Rita couldn't shake thus feeling. Seeing Lucy's cold emotionless eyes glare at her only made her fears worsen.
" Lincoln needs to be alone tonight, you need to sleep in your own bed Lucy", Rita said firmly as she opened the door. Lucy stood for a minute before she complied but her emotions were clear, the pure hate in her daughters face scared Rita. Children were never ment to look that way, her mind made up Rita decided that was going to do something about Lucy.
