Halliwell Mansion

Night

"What are we even looking for?" Phoebe asked as she and Piper stood in the attic, Phoebe holding a crystal on a rope above a map of Metropolis. "I mean, is she even Paige anymore? And what do we do if we find her? I doubt the spell that worked on the last Isis will work on this one."

"I don't know, a goddess is something new here. Let's stop her from raising the underworld, then figure out how to get her out of Paige," Piper said annoyed.

Phoebe didn't get angry, knowing that Piper was as worried and frustrated about Paige as she was. And without the Power of Three, Phoebe wasn't sure they could go up against Isis, much less save Paige.

Luthorcorp

Same time

Things were not going much better for Clark and Oliver. Cat had gone to Tess, trying to 'expose' Paige as the Blur but Tess had made it clear she didn't believe her. Which is how Oliver found himself on the phone with Tess as he sat in his office at Luthorcorp, comparing notes.

"You're telling me that Clark's new friend has turned into Isis? How does that even happen? Tess asked.

"The current theory involves an amulet that is supposed to be at the museum but is currently around Paige's throat," Oliver said, hanging up as Tess walked into his office.

"So let me get this straight, Paige finds a necklace, gets possessed by an Egyptian goddess and is now flying around Metropolis like Amelia Earhart minus the plane?" Tess asked as she walked over to Oliver.

"Just another Friday night in Metropolis. Who's ready for the weekend?" Oliver quipped as he got up, beginning to escort Tess out of his office. "I'll make sure I relay your message about Cat to Clark. In the meantime, he and I can take care of the blond and her bombshell."

"You don't have to throw me out Oliver," Tess snapped as she threw his arm off her. "I'm just trying to protect Clark."

"Protect me from what?" the two almost jumped as Clark sped in.

"You're new partner thinks Paige is the blur," Oliver explained.

"Which is why I erased all the security footage of her crumbling a metal door with her hand and throwing a security guard across a warehouse," Tess was quick to assure Clark. "Cat saw what she saw, but at least now she can't prove it."

"Thanks for the backup, but we have another problem: Paige found Osiris's heart and now I can't find her," Clark said.

"Well, she does still have one more layover before our nonstop to Hell," Oliver said. "She still needs to reunite the heart-"

"With the body to make Osiris whole," Tess cut him off and Oliver looked at her annoyed before turning back to Clark.

"There's a sarcophagus at the exhibit. It's rumored to hold an ancient priest of the underworld. Now, I'm thinking-"

"That the high priest is actually Osiris," Tess once again cut Oliver and he sighed in annoyance as he shot her a dirty look.

"Kind of stole my thunder there Tess," Oliver grumbled as Clark's mind began racing.

"Every one of those crates has the name of the museum on it. If Isis saw that, she'll know where the artifacts are headed," Clark realized.

"It's only a matter of time before we become permanent residents of the underworld and we have no idea how to get this genie back in her bottle," Oliver said.

"I might," Tess said a thoughtful look coming over her face.

They looked at her as Tess walked over to Oliver's desk. She sat down and began typing away at his computer.

"Sure, go ahead, go and make yourself at home. Please go do it somewhere else," Oliver said as he walked over, closing the lid to his laptop. "Off the laptop."

"You don't trust me still. Oliver, I get it. But you need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture," Tess told him.

"Like what, the picture you're trying to paint yourself into? Our team? We protect secrets; we don't keep them from each other. I'm not sure you know the difference," Oliver said hotly.

Clark eyed Tess, wondering what her reaction would be. He understood Oliver's reaction; Tess had played and burned them more than once. But with what was going on, they needed all the help they could get and Clark trusted that Tess wanted to stop Isis as much as they did.

"Lex kept a record of all of Luthorcorp's active excavation sites," Tess explained. "Unfortunately, he also deleted it. But nothing in cyberspace is truly lost. It might take me a bit of time with your low tech laptop here, but I think I can reconstruct the files."

"Time is not a luxury we have. Please hurry," Clark said before he turned to head out.

"Hey, where are you going?" Oliver called out.

"To prevent the end of the world," Clark said before speeding out.

"Found her!" Phoebe declared as the crystal landed on part of the map. "She's in some museum."

"Leo!" Piper called out but her husband was already walking into the room.

"I just dropped the boys off with Victor. You found her?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, and you need to get us there. Come slow poke!" Piper rushed him.

Metropolis

Not long after

In the museum, Isis was performing the ritual. Osiris's sarcophagus was surrounded by several pillars. Isis's raised her hands and the top of the pillars all caught on fire.

"At last, my love, we shall be together," Isis said.

She flicked her wrist and the top of the sarcophagus was pulled right off. However, to her horror, the only thing inside was ash.

"No!" Isis wailed, falling to her knees and putting her hand inside the ashes.

"You can't bring him back," Isis looked up to see Clark standing a few feet away. "It's over."

"It cannot be over. It is eternal," Isis sneered.

Before the conversation could continue, Leo suddenly Orbed in with Piper and Phoebe. At the sight of them, Isis's eyes hardened.

"Whitelighters," she snarled, her grief replaced by rage.

"One Whitelighter, two witches. And you're trespassing in our sister's body," Piper said, trying to freeze Isis.

Only to stare in horror as Isis laughed mockingly.

"You think your punny powers have hold over me? I am a goddess," Isis sneered. "My spirit was ripped from my flesh and my blood. And I have waited lifetimes for Osiris. You dare to stand in my way? You are ants who shall learn your place!"

Isis raised her hand and a blast of yellow energy shot out. Leo, Piper and Phoebe all jumped aside, barely dodging the blast. Clark then sped over, grabbing Isis by her arm.

"I know you want to be with Osiris, but I won't let you put people people's lives at risk to do it," Clark said firmly.

"Not only shall you allow it, you shall be the key," Isis said with a sinister smirk.

Clark barely processed what she was saying when Isis gave a shove that sent Clark flying. Piper, Leo and Phoebe looked up as golden energy ropes wrapped around Clark's arms and legs and pulled him into the sarcophagus. Clark tried to break free but was stunned to find he could barely move.

"Hey, what are you doing to him?" Phoebe demanded.

"He is mortal, yet possesses the power of a god. He is the perfect vessel for Osiris," Isis declared.

"Isis, I know how much you love Osiris, but you can't destroy two lives just so you can be together," Leo tried to reason.

"Love is worth any sacrifice," Isis said unmoved. "If you stand in my way Whitelighter, you shall be destroyed."

Isis turned around and unleashed a blast of energy at him. Leo retaliated with his own energy blast and the two beams met in midair. The beams created an energy wave that sent Leo, Isis and the sister all flying. Along with Cat, who had been watching the whole thing while recording it. Her phone got lost in the chaos.

"You are an Elder," Isis realized as she looked up at Leo.

"That's complicated," Piper grumbled as they all got to their feet.

"I've seen some wild parties, but this might take the cake," everyone looked up to see Oliver had entered the room, dressed in his Green Arrow uniform.

"Oliver Queen," Phoebe said looking a little star struck.

"Your heart is brave," Isis said as she turned to look at Oliver with a critical eye. "But I can see it belongs to a lonely soul. A warrior with a vacant heart. You try to fill it but the harder you try, the lonelier you become."

"I may be lonely, but I'm still gonna kick your Egyptian ass," Oliver said as he dress his crossbow and took aim at Isis.

"Hey, she's controlling my sister! Do not hurt her Arrow Boy!" Piper snapped.

"You need not worry witch. I sense he does not wish to hurt this body," Isis said as she eyed Oliver curiously.

"Childhood hangups, was taught never to hurt a girl," Oliver quipped.

"And I was taught to never accept defeat."

Isis shot out a ball of energy towards Oliver. He jumped out of the way and the ball of energy shattered a display case.

"The answer was in Lex' files. Sunlight through the amulet," Oliver shouted to Clark.

"What's he talking about?" Piper asked Phoebe, who shrugged clueless.

But Clark understood. And as he struggled against the ropes, he got an idea. Using all his strength, he broke free. Jumping up, he quickly got to his feet.

"Isis," he called out.

Isis turned around and Oliver shot an arrow at her. It nicked the amulet off Isis's neck and Clark quickly caught it. Everyone then watched, Leo and the sisters in shock, as Clark shot out two beams of heat vision out of his eyes and into the center of the amulet. Gold energy suddenly surrounded Isis before it was sucked into the amulet.

Paige swayed on her feet before she started to fall. Clark dropped the amulet and sped over to Paige, catching her just before she fell.

"Okay, first, is she okay? Second, how did you do that?" Piper asked in disbelief.

"Isn't it obvious?" Phoebe asked and her sister and brother in law looked at her curiously. "Paige becomes his Whitelighter the same time all these hero haters come out of the woodworks. A charge that's powers can't fall into the hands of this darkness? I just put it together."

"Oh my God, you're…" Piper trialed off as Clark nodded.

"Yeah," Clark said awkwardly.

Further conversation was interrupted when Paige stirred. They all looked down as Paige opened her eyes, seeing Clark.

"Clark? Where am I? And what are you guys doing in Metropolis?" Paige asked as she saw her sisters and Leo.

"That is a long story," Clark said with a smile.

Watchtower, next day

Morning

Oliver was sitting down, staring out the window when Tess walked in.

"You seem far away," she noted.

"Sometimes we have to watch things from a distance to see things more clearly," Oliver said before looking back at her. "You were right, about me turning into a curvature of myself."

"I shouldn't have said that," Tess said in remorse.

"The show I was putting on, the uh…the Green Arrow Girls, it was an emptiness I was trying to fill. I was lying to myself and uh, you were one of the only ones who would call me on it," Oliver said as he looked up at Tess.

"Another one of those is Chloe," Tess pointed out and Oliver sighed.

"God I miss her. I miss her laugh and her strength, the way her eyes lit up when I entered the room. She really loved me," Oliver paused. "I gave her a secret that was too hard to hold onto. She paid the price for keeping it."

"Oliver, when it comes to you, no price was too high for Chloe," Tess said and Oliver looked back at her.

"I guess you can still spot real love," Oliver said, giving her a slight smile. "I'm sorry for what I said."

"Don't be. It's the truth. There has been a whole lot of that in my life. Just like there hasn't been a whole lot of love," Tess said with a fake smile. "So did I just drive halfway across town for an apology?"

"No," Tess turned around as Clark entered the room. "It was so we could give you something."

"That's right," Oliver said as he got to his feet. "Aside from out solar powered friend doing that cool eyeball zap trough the amulet thing that he did, we couldn't have done it without you."

"You took care of Cat and you figured out how to put Isis back in the Amulet," Clark added as Tess looked at them in shock. "You're pretty impressive with a laptop to."

"Now let's see what you can do with something a little more powerful. Like Watchtower," Oliver said as Tess stared at him in disbelief. "Welcome to the team."

"Thank you," Tess said, her voice a little choked up.

Tess then walked out, Clark and Oliver staring after her.

"You think we can trust her?" Oliver asked.

"We'll find out," Clark said.

But Clark had a feeling they could. Tess had always been looking for something; she just looked for it in the wrong place. Let's see what she does in the right one.

Out in the hall, Tess was leaning against the wall, crying slightly before giving a smile.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys the truth about Clark before," Paige said as she, Piper, Leo and Phoebe stood in the kitchen.

"As someone so keenly reminds me, whatever happens between a charge and their Whitelighter remains between them," Piper said as she shot a look at Leo, who merely smiled.

"So, Clark Kent is reporter by day, superhero by night…does he have a brother?" Phoebe joked and they all laughed.

"There is one thing that worries me," Leo said and the sisters looked at him. "You said the amulet just showed up in your purse?"

"I heard my phone go off, found the amulet, pulled it out, the next thing I knew I was waking up in the museum," Paige explained.

"Someone obliviously put it there. My concern is who and why," Leo noted.

The Underworld

Same time

A man was standing in a dark room when a demon shimmered in.

"Lord Zankou, I'm sorry but the Book of Shadows remained mostly guarded by the Witches. And by the time we got there, it was sealed," the demon says.

"So this plan failed. No matter, there are other ways to go about it. The Book of Shadows will be mine, one way or another," Zankou said with a dark smile.

Daily Planet

Later in the morning

Paige walked into the Daily Planet, looking around until she spotted Clark at his desk.

"Hey," Paige said as she walked up to him.

"Hey," Clark said as he looked up and saw her. "How are you feeling?"

"Well, been a while since I've been possessed, but it's really not that different from a hangover. You wake up confused and with a headache," Paige joked before frowning. "Thank you though, for what you did. And I don't just mean saving me, but exposing your secret to my family. I know that couldn't have been an easy choice to make."

"There was no choice to make Paige. I'd make the same choice again in a heartbeat," Clark promised.

Paige looked at him startled, surprised. In truth, they barely knew each other. Yet, in a lot of ways, Paige already felt closer to Clark that she'd ever felt to anyone in her life. Before she could formulate a response, she cried out as she felt a searing pain in her hand that she had placed on Clark's desk. Looking down, she saw a pen sticking out of it and Cat stepping back, looking confused.

"What is wrong with you blondie?" Paige snapped as she yanked the pen out of her hand.

"Cat, why'd you do that?" Clark asked, immediately taking Paige's hand to inspect the damage.

"Your friend here is the Blur!" Cat cried and both of them stared at her.

"What are you, on drugs?" Paige asked.

"Cat, there's something you should know," Clark tried to explain.

"Save it Clark, I have proof. I have footage of her performing some satanic ritual," Cat said as she pulled out her phone.

Acting quickly, Clark sped over, snatched it out of Cat's hand and tightening his grip on it. Handing it back to Cat, he sped back behind Paige before Cat's phone seemed to break in her hand. She looked down at her broken phone in horror.

"Some solid proof you got there Propaganda Barbie," Paige said dryly.

"Okay, so I don't have proof. But it doesn't change what I saw. Clark, your friend is the Blur!" Cat tried to tell him. "There's no other explanation!"

"Actually there is," Clark said and she looked at him in surprise. "Paige was possessed by the spirit of Isis."

"I may have kept my youthful good looks, but I wasn't born yesterday," Cat scoffed.

"What is this, your first day in this city? Because I've been here less than a month and I've encountered things that put my experiences to shame. Weird things happen in this city. Get used to it blondie," Paige said as Clark led her away, leaving Cat staring after them in disbelief.

"Thanks," Paige said as Clark patched her up. "And I don't mean just for this. Nice move back there with Cat's phone."

"That obvious huh?" Clark asked as he wrapped her hand.

"Only to someone who knows," Paige said, looking Clark deep in the eyes.

Clark and Paige stared at each other for a moment before averting their eyes. An awkward silence filled the room.

"Well, I better get going. I need to find a cheaper place to stay while I'm in Metropolis," Paige said as she got to her feet.

"About that," Clark said and Paige paused, looking over at him. "There's no wrong answer here, and I'm sorry if I'm overstepping but…you could always come stay with me."

"What; like move in with you?" Paige asked in surprise.

"You're my Whitelighter, so we're obliviously going to be seeing a lot of each other. And I've worked in this city long enough to know it's not the safest place for a young woman to stay alone. You've done so much for me, the least I can do is offer you a place to stay," Clark said.

It was a bad idea. Mixing business with pleasure (even if there wasn't anything pleasurable going on between her and Clark) had never ended well for Paige in the past. There were a million reasons for her to say no, not the least of which was that Paige was still on her own journey of self-discovery, she didn't need to mess up Clark's.

"I'm a bad roommate, I hog the bathroom and I snore," Paige said instead.

"Trust me, I've put up with a lot worse," Clark said with a laugh as he thought of Lois.

He was surprised to find it didn't hurt as much as he thought. He still missed her greatly; it still felt like Doomsday had punched him in the gut to think of Lois. But the pain had lessoned slightly. Clark tried very hard not to think of the implications of that.

"Okay. Okay, for now," Paige agreed, hoping this would not be a mistake.

So, now the sisters and Leo know about Clark. Hope how I did it made sense.

Yes, Zankou was behind Paige getting the amulet. He will be very involved in the story going forward.

We've spent a lot of time on the Smallville side of things, now we're going to spend some time on the Charmed side. I'm not going to be doing the Drake arc, as much as I love Drake, its too messy trying to fit him into this story's timeline. But I am going to be doing some of season seven's later episodes, starting with 7x16.
