'You! You dare to come here? Are you out of your mind?'

There was no time to reply, because Regina had already her hand around his throat.

'Give me one! One good reason not to finish you!'

And in the moment were she was about with her other hand to pull out his heart and crush it, the 'charmings' arrived.

'Wait! Regina, stop!'

'Yes, Regina, Mary Margaret is right, he is not worth it!'

Suddenly Regina's brain started to kick in, all of this fuzz would alarm Emma if it didn't already. So she decided to 'poof' Hook directly to the Sheriff station, locked in a cell.

'Don't worry he lives, he is at the sheriff's station. I expect you to do your job Charming! Emma is inside, you know the way.'

'Wait Regina were are you going?'

Mary Margaret was truly worried, despite their troubled past, they really had become friends. So the tone in Mary Margaret's voice was that of a friend, deeply committed.

'I need to have a walk. I do not want Emma to see me like this. Like, her.'

David knew exactly whom Regina was referring to. He also had, a long time ago realized, that both his daughter and Regina were both fools for not seeing the obvious.

'We keep her safe, you walk this off. And than come back. She needs you and you know it!'

Both Regina and Mary Margaret looked astonished by those words, of David. Yet he didn't leave them any time to reply, since he already was half way into the house.

Inside the house, Emma was already more than agitated. She heard Regina, well at least the tonality of her voice. It wasn't like Emma to be like that but, he had caught her of guard, a thing that usually didn't happen.

'Oh mom, dad it's you! Why did Regina scream like that? And were is she?'

'Don't worry, Emma. She is fine just walking a bit of steam of.'

David needed but a minute to step close enough to give Emma a big strong hug. Mary Margaret happily joined, for a moment everything seemed normal. But all of them knew that, the conversation that needed to follow wouldn't be an easy one.

'So Emma, as you asked I brought all the paperwork that we need to do. You know which questions I have to ask. Believe me, that won't be easy for the both of us.'

'I know dad. But it needs to get done. I don't know if Regina told you, but I do not consider myself engaged or in a relationship with this men, anymore!'

'Of course, Emma.He never deserved you anyway.'

'Thanks, mom.'

If Mary Margaret's moral rules would have allowed her, she would have let Regina finished what she had started. A part of her was terrified of the conversation, that would follow. But she wanted to be there for her daughter. Since she had her back, she swore to herself, that she wouldn't miss an other moment in Emma's life, good or bad.

'So Emma, I need you to give me as many details as possible. Do not worry about the simple Data, just tell me exactly what happened.'

'Yes, right. Well Sheriff Nolan, it all started, in the middle of the day...'

As Emma was telling them what had happened and why, both of their parents started to question why they stopped Regina. It was torture to listen to Emma, the food spirits knew that Mary Margaret didn't wanted to cry, but she couldn't help it.

'It's fine mom, but I really need to finish this. I want to be done with it.'

'I am so sorry, sweetie. Of course, please continue.'

And Emma did, it took approximately one hour to tell them everything. Enough time for Regina to come back exactly in the moment Emma had finished her confession.

'You are back!'

Emma just run into Regina's arm, she didn't care at this moment. Nor if Regina would get mad or if her parents would start to question anything. She just needed to feel safe and Regina was the only person truly providing this feeling.

'Em-ma.'

That was all that came out of Regina's mouth. Hugging Emma back, strongly holding her, was all that Regina could do in this moment.

'We will leave you here, for now Emma. Me and your mother are taking the paperwork to the sheriff's station. Do not worry about anything! We love you, everything is going to be ok!'

Emma didn't let go of Regina, which made Mary Margaret more than wonder. While she just saw a weird smile on David's face, she suddenly started to have really weird thoughts herself.

'Yes, Emma, your dad is right. Do not worry, about a thing. We love you darling.'

Still she was holding onto Regina. It took Regina to break the hug in order for Emma to realize that her parents were actually leaving.

'Thanks mom and dad. As soon as I feel up to it, I am going to...'

Suddenly David interrupted Emma. He had a big smile on his face and a weird look towards Regina.

'Emma, we got this. You stay were you feel, home.'

'Thank you David, for taking care of her.'

Regina said that and the look on Mary Margaret's face got worse and worse. On the contrary to David's, he suddenly found this situation more than amusing.

'No problem, Regina! I will always take care of my little girl. But now that her fiancee is here, we are sure that she is in good hands.'

'But David, Emma said that she had to tell this Dr. Wahle! They aren't really engaged!'

'Sure, my love. Let's go I will explain this to you on the way.'

'Pushing Mary Margaret towards the road, Emma could still hear how her mother would complain, about David.

'I have no idea, how you turned out so normal, while they are so, well you know.'

'Hey, it is not nice to talk bad about the in laws.'

What a situation Regina would find herself in, Emma was joking about in laws, David would make pointy statements, and Regina would mind at all.

'Regina, I told my parents what happened. And I think it's time to tell you too. Please let's go inside, I really don't want to do it here.'

'Sure, lead the way Emma.'

Both went inside towards the living room. Emma always loved Regina's living room, she found it more than stylish, besides the thousand fantasies that she would have had. Oh, those thoughts wouldn't help in the current situation.
