TW: Thank you.

Halliwell Manor

Afternoon

Paige pinched the bridge of her nose, feeling a migraine coming on as Phoebe finished explaining the situation.

"So I head to New Zealand for five minutes and now Wyatt is evil?" Paige asked in disbelief.

"The future version of him anyway. Vicus did something to Wyatt's bear and Leo thinks overtime, it changed Wyatt," Phoebe explained and Paige sighed.

"Okay, where is our Wyatt now?" Paige asked, putting her thoughts together.

"Leo and Piper took him to Magic School. We thought if we vanquished Vicus, it might undo whatever he did to Wyatt," Phoebe explained.

"And so we have to find him and vanquish him," Paige noted and Phoebe nodded.

Before the conversation could continue, Paige's phone rang. Pulling it out, Paige frowned as she saw it was Tess. The two of them weren't exactly besties, even if they were now, as Tess said, on the same team. Which made it very unusual for Tess to be calling her.

"Tess now is not a good time," Paige said as she answered.

"Paige, I need you to get to Watchtower, now," Tess said and Paige could hear in her voice how alarmed Tess was, senting her on edge.

"Tess, what's wrong?" Paige asked.

"Something happened to Clark, I don't know how to explain it over the phone. Just…get here," Tess told her before hanging up.

Paige lowered the phone, feeling like nothing could possibly get worse as Phoebe looked at her worriedly.

"What happened?" Phoebe asked worriedly.

"I don't know, something's happened to Clark. They need me back in Metropolis," Paige said torn between her worry for Clark and her love for her family.

"Go," Phoebe said and Paige looked at her in surprise. "I can whip up a vanquishing potion on my own. If something's wrong with Clark, it could be bad for all of us. And we may need him to help us handle evil Wyatt. Go."

"Thank you, you're the best," Paige said in relief before Orbing out.

Watchtower

Not long after

Paige Orbed in and was surprised to see Tess wasn't alone. Oliver was there along with, to her surprise, Kara.

"Paige, thanks for coming," Tess said as she got up.

"You sounded freaked on the phone," Paige noted before turning to Kara. "We haven't been officially introduced. I'm Paige."

"Kara. From what I understand, you helped my cousin out. Thank you," Kara said gratefully.

"Oh she does more than help him out," Oliver quipped and Tess elbowed him in the side. "Ow."

"Look, I called you all here because we're all in trouble, especially Clark," Tess said and they turned to her. "Earlier today, I received a Kryptonian Relic."

"Received? What do you mean received?" Oliver asked bewildered.

"That's not important right now. Clark was holding it and then…then he wasn't Clark anymore," Tess said and they looked at her sharply.

"What happened exactly Tess?" Paige asked.

"I really don't know. He was holding it and then…he was like a completely different person," Tess explained.

"Maybe it was Red Kryptonite?" Oliver guessed but Tess shook her head.

"I've seen him on Red Kryptonite and last time I checked, it didn't make Clark look like a rocker from the 80's," Tess disagreed and Paige's blood ran cold.

"No no no, this cannot be happening," Paige said and they looked at her oddly.

"Paige?" Kara called out as Paige ran a hand through her hair.

"I know what's happening to Clark. He's not our Clark anymore," Paige said and they looked at her confused.

"Alright, you're gonna need to start from the beginning. What are you talking about?" Oliver asked.

"Alright, first thing's first, I'm…a witch," Paige said, looking up to see their reactions.

"Okay," Oliver said, taking it easily.

"Really, just that that?" Paige said in surprised.

"When we first met you, you were possessed by Isis. It's not that big of a leap," Tess pointed out.

"What does this have to do with Kal-El?" Kara inquired, not seeming phased.

"There's this…other world I guess you could called it. It's an exact copy of ours except that all morality is kind of flipped. What's good here is evil over there," Paige explained and they got where she was going with this.

"Are you saying we have an evil Clark on our hands?" Oliver asked in shock.

"It's the only thing that makes sense; it matches what happened with my encounter with the other world a year ago. And it's a lot worse than just having our Clark there and this one here," Paige said, trying to remember what Gideon had said about the two worlds. "There's this…Grand Design to everything. By crossing over, Clark is messing with it. Last time this happened, it completely changed the world until Leo fixed it."

"So in other words, we need to find Clark's evil clone and send him home," Oliver said and Paige nodded her agreement.

"The Relic is the key. It's what brought him here, so that's what can send him back," Tess realized.

"Where is the Relic now?" Kara asked.

"Still with him, so we find him and we find it," Tess explained.

"He's still Clark, same backstory, same personality except he's evil now. Where would Clark go in this situation?" Paige asked.

Fortress of Solitude, Evil World

Same time

Clark entered the Fortress, looking around in bewilderment. It was exactly like his own, yet everything seemed a touch darker. Where before there was light, now it seemed so dark Clark could barely see without using his powers.

"Jor-El?" Clark called out uncertainly.

"You do not belong here," Jor-El's voice said and Clark was surprised by the menace in his voice. "You may be Kal-El, but you are not my son."

"He's right."

Clark whirled around, seeing Kara standing a few feet away. Yet it was not Kara. She was dressed in a black jumpsuit with their family crest on her chest and her hair was a darker shade of blond.

"Kara?" Clark asked in surprise.

"You don't belong here. You need to go home," Kara said her voice filled with hostility. "That Kryptonian Relic you have, it transported you here."

Clark was suddenly very aware of the relic, which he had placed in his jacket pocket.

"Give it to me," Kara demanded.

"Why should I trust you? You may look like Kara, but you're not her," Clark said and was surprised when Kara smiled.

"You are really are like him in almost every way. He'd have said the same thing. I'd try to take it by force, but I don't have to," Kara said amused.

"Relic."

Clark was startled by the voice and then by the fact that the Relic vanished from his pocket in a bust of black smoke. Hearing a sound several feet away, Clark turned to see a woman who looked exactly like Paige except her hair was cut to where it reached her shoulders and dressed in an outfit Paige would not be caught dead in. The Relic appeared in her hands in a burst of black smoke.

Good World

Same time

"Give that back," Paige had to fight down the feeling of dread that came over her as Clark's lookalike glared at her menacingly.

"Only if you agree to use it, go back to your own world," Paige told him.

Angrily, Clark sped towards her and she had no doubt he was planning on taking the Relic by force. But before he could get within an inch of her, Kara had tackled him, sending a kick to his chest. Clark went flying, crashing into the floor with a thud that shook the Fortress.

"You're gonna regret that," Clark sneered as he pulled himself to his feet.

"We'll see. If I have to beat one Kal-El unconscious to get another back, that's what I'll do," Kara said firmly.

Evil World

Clark shot two beams of heat vision at Kara, who flew out of the way. The heat vision impacted on two crystals above the two of them, which shattered and fell. The entire Fortress began shaking and Paige stumbled around, dropping the Relic.

"If you two keep this up, you're gonna bring this whole place down! I don't think that's what you want!" Paige snapped.

If the two heard her, they gave no indication, as Kara landed on the ground. The two seemed ready to face off again when, in a barrage of black orbs, a blond haired man dressed in all black appeared between them.

"That's enough son," the man said as Clark stared at him in utter disbelief.

"Dad?"

Good World

Paige and Kara watched in shock as Jonathan Kent, a man they had only seen in pictures, appeared before them in a pattern of white Orbs, stunning Clark's evil counterpart.

"This is a trick. You're dead," Clark said looking as though he had seen a ghost.

"I am," Jonathan agreed. "But my path didn't stop with death. I was chosen to become a Whitelighter here. In your world, I was chosen to become a Darklighter."

Jonathan walked a few feet away, towards Paige, until he stood in front of her. Paige stared at him in disbelief until Jonathan picked up the Relic.

"This is a Kryptonian Mirror Box. It allows you to travel between our world and yours," Jonathan explained as he walked back over to Clark. "You don't belong here son, any more than my Clark belongs over there. It's time for you to go home."

Jonathan held out the Mirror Box to Clark who, after a moment, took the box from him. Staring down at it, he saw the strange symbol on it. He twisted it, recreated the symbol, which once more glowed. When the glow faded, their Clark once more stood in front of them, staring at Jonathan in a daze.

"Dad," he said softly as Jonathan smiled slightly at him.

"Hello Clark," Jonathan said happily. "It is very good to see you."

Clark dropped the Mirror Box to the ground before grabbing his father in a bear hug. Although taken aback momentarily, Jonathan returned the hug as Clark clung to his father in a way he hadn't since was a little boy.

Did originally intend to finish up the episode, but I thought it flowed better to end it there.

And Kara's back now. This felt like a good point to bring her back and she'll probably stick around until the end of the story.

Jonathan being a Whitelighter is a plot twist I've planned since the start of the story and I'm really excited to finally be able reveal that.
