Bony Boy goes to JJK World
-Lots of spoilers on JJK read at your own risk.-
Upon entering the building, Gojo followed traces of cursed energy to a wide-open room deep within the structure. Once there, he found the location to be very dull. Ordinary suburban houses created a spiraling maze with a large and strange tree positioned near the center.
As Gojo walked in the maze, the houses moved away from him creating a clear path to the center.'Is Tengen late? I didn't take him to be like me.' He thought as he noticed the Shimenawa tied around the tree's trunk.
Gojo was about to reach the tree when he heard a set of footsteps behind him. While the sound was very light and brief, it echoed throughout the room making Gojo's hand tremble slightly. 'Time to see your ugly face.' The jujutsu sorcerer thought as he turned around.
After hearing about this man for his whole life, Gojo had pictured Tengen to be anything other than what he was. Tengen was a humanoid with 4 eyes and a square-shaped head, he looked more like a curse than a human. Gojo couldn't help but laugh. "Damn, I expected an immortal to be ugly, but that's way worst than I thought. "
Tengen's expression remained the same as Gojo continued to crack jokes about him. "Tell me when you're done coping with what happened so I can talk, okay?" Tengen said. His voice was deep and cold which prompted Gojo to stop.
"Alright, let's hear it. Last time I went on a mission for you I couldn't meet you, but you wanna talk?Fine! What does the great Tengen-sama wants from me today? " Gojo asked as he placed his hands back in his pockets.
Tengen focused his eyes on Gojo."Ainz Ooal Gown." Tengen stated. His eyes twitched a bit as he pictured the curse in his mind. "I received a worrying report about your fight with it. The fact Special Grade Curse can fight you at all is already a problem, but the fact that it defeated you is..."
"But I didn't lose. " Gojo said interupeting Tengen."It was a draw, but I'll get him next time. "
Tengen looked at Gojo's hands which had closed into fists inside his pockets trying to contain his anger towards losing a fight against a cursed spirit. "A draw?" Tengen said raising both of his right eyebrows.
Tengen raised his hand to his index finger and started counting."Is it a draw when you capture your enemy inside a Domain and the enemy is not only able to fight you but was able to break free." Tengen stated. He lifted a finger for every point he made.
"Not to mention-"
"I got your point. What did you want? " Gojo interjected before Tengen was able to raise a fourth finger. Gojo rolled his eyes behind the blindfold hoping that this conversion changed topics. "You've been around long enough to have seen a bunch of curses, but none of them force you to ask for help like this. What makes this one so special you requested me to come here?"
Tengen crossed his arms once again. He looked down for a moment as he considered a few possible replies before saying. "I have reasons to believe that this Special Grade Curse could have the power to interfere with the barrier around Japan. Even I can't predict what a curse with boundless cursed energy would do with this country should he try."
Gojo frowned. 'Interfere with the barrier around Japan? Momonga did have a very advanced barrier technique when I met him, but without knowing his real cursed technique it's impossible to tell what the damage could be.'
"And how are you planning to solve this?" Gojo asked.
"I brought you here for a simple task. I want you to exorcise that curse." Tengen said with confidence.
"Hmmm... is that it?" Gojo tilted his head slightly and started rubbing his chin. "I was already gonna do that."
"There is a catch though. I want you to fight it here." Tengen said as he opened his arms. "Not inside Jujutsu High, but inside this very room."
Gojo froze for a moment as he processed the information. He felt a cold sensation wash over him and the world around him started to shift. Everything around him disappeared and the location turned into a white leveled plane that went on forever.'Is this a-'
"Looks like a Domain, right?" Tengen asked seemingly reading Gojo's mind. "This is a barrier fully focused on containing and this is where you'll fight that curse."
Gojo quickly tried to teleport away only for his power to leave him exactly where he stood. "This feels like what Momonga did back in my Domain." The jujutsu sorcerer concluded.
Tengen was taken aback by that comment. "Momonga? Do you mean the curse? " He asked with a peaked interest.
"Yes. He did something similar and I couldn't teleport. " Gojo answered casually.
Tenge placed his hand on his chin in contemplation. "This is worst than I thought. " He said as his eyes stared into the white void he had created.
After a few moments, Tengen continued. "His power is growing faster than I anticipated. I believe the next time you fight him. Ainz Ooal Gown will not only have a Domain, but he'll have mastered it already. "
Gojo felt shivers move down his spine. He pictured the undead overlord placing both hands together and saying the magic words. Domain Expansion.
What played out inside Gojo's imagination was a tough and gruesome battle, but no matter how much he strained his mind and body all he could see was the different ways Ainz could defeat him.
Gojo shook his head in denial and gritted his teeth. "What is the plan?" He asked.
Tengen smiled for the first time since he got there. Gojo's cursed energy changed the flow. "That's the look of a proper-"
"I'm not in the mood. " Gojo interjected. Tengen could feel the gaze of the Six Eyes staring at him, looking for any attempts to lie or deceive.
"We will fight together. " Tengen explained. He snapped his finger and created a fake version of Ainz Ooal Gown from the reports he read.
"I examed the cursed energy present in the curses Ainz used and I'm able to somewhat surpass it here. Including his Domain should he try it? With my support, I am sure you'll be able to exorcise him." Tengen explained.
Gojo's expression became sour. The crazy fight he had pictured against his new rival was now reduced to him beating up a weakened version of Ainz. "This doesn't feel right. " Gojo stated.
"You're worried about what feels right? " Tengen said with an annoyed tone. He cracked his knuckles and went to explain the need to defeat Ainz Ooal Gown, but Gojo kept repeating the same thing.
"It doesn't feel right. " Gojo said yet again. "I'm not saying your plan is bad, I'm not saying fighting him alone is good. I'm saying that fighting him here is bad."
"Where are you getting at?" Tengen asked.
"It's simple. " Gojo said while imitating Tengen's tone. "Momonga mastered cursed energy manipulation and simple domain while fighting inside my Domain... what would happen if he entered this place? " Gojo asked as he placed his hand on his chin.
All of Tengen's four eyes widen. He imagined Ainz's potential fully realized as Tengen struggled to keep the undead trapped in the barrier. He quickly shook his head and continued talking. "Ainz will evolve one way or another. "
"Don't be so negative old man. " Gojo said with a disturbing smile on his face. "That's just a possibility after all."
"And a very real one. " Tengen clarified. He took a deep breath and looked at Gojo. "I'll change my barrier around Japan a bit. Ainz Ooal Gown will not be able to use his cursed energy as easily anymore, but that does not mean he's weak. Grab him and teleport here before entering combat with him."
"Will it work without you knowing his cursed technique?" Gojo asked.
"I a guess as to what his cursed technique is. " Tengen said as he walked closer to Gojo.
"Then what is it?" Gojo asked.
"Preconceived notions could distract the mind, but I assume it has something to do with the Cursed Realm and most likely he can use it to manipulate reality to some extent, but that's all I can say for sure."
Tengen explained before placing his hand inside his sleeve and pulling out a block of wood that had his face carved into it. "Use your cursed energy on this talisman before coming so I know to prepare." Tengen threw the cursed tool to Gojo.
Gojo took longer to grab the cursed tool out of the air as his mind was occupied with Ainz's possible power. 'The Cursed Realm, a focal point of all cursed energy. If that's the case we have no way to guess his Cursed Technique. Am I gonna be able to... beat him...' Gojo thought as he tried his best to get away from the looser mentality.
"Don't you have anything in here that can help in the fight? Some type of cursed tool that could do something? Maybe even seal Momonga?" Gojo said in his normal tone. Forcing himself to be outside of his mind.
Tengen shook his head. "You destroyed the only two cursed tools that could nullify cursed techniques we were aware of. Anything else will just hinder you more than it will help." He said.
"You're probably right, but maybe there are some things here that could help the other to fight Momonga's discount curses. " Gojo said. The jujutsu sorcerer smiled a bit as his demeanor went back to normal. "Ah! I almost forgot. I need a favor." Gojo asked.
"What do you need?" Tengen asked.
"I want you to convince the higher-ups to allow the Kyoto Sister Event. " Gojo said.
Tengen took a deep breath and sighed. "Why?"
"No one can take away their youth. Not even a cursed spirit and maybe... just maybe. Momonga shows up. " Gojo said.
24 hours 's Domain.
Geto was laying on his chair, as usual, while Jogo paced around him while smoking a pipe with a brain where the green should be. They were both staring at a clock that Geto brought in a few hours later and patiently waited until the timer showed zero.
"Time's up and Mahito has not come back. He's dead. " Geto said in his calm demeanor trying to hide the turmoil that was ragging inside his head. 'Without Idle Transfiguration, I can't go ahead with my plans. ' Geto thought.
Jogo crushed the pipe he was smoking. He pointed his finger toward the clock and sent a fireball to it. "What the hell?! How can a few sorcerers kill him?!"
Hanami walked up to both of them and asked. "Is that going to complicate things?"
"Not much of a problem. The finger was sent to Jujutsu High just as planned and we are on schedule. " Geto responded. "The only issue is our spy. We have no way to pay him now."
Jogo turned his head to Geto. "Is he even necessary?"
Geto nodded making both Jogo and Hanami silent for a moment.
"Why not ask Momonga? You said he has a similar cursed technique to Mahito? Can't he do it instead?" Hanami asked.
"That's what I'm planning to do, but his cellphone has no service. " Geto replied.
Geto placed his hand on his chin and wondered. 'Getting my hands on Ainz just became a priority. How am I going to do it though?'
"Momonga this. Momonga that... I don't like it." Jogo said. "The curse barely shows up and is already so powerful. And now that we don't have Mahito anymore he became a main point of our plan... "
"What are you implying?" Hanami asked.
"The way he showed up out of nowhere and took over... Are you worried he might be a vengeful spirit instead of a natural curse? Is that it?" Geto asked while giving a calming smile.
"I'm saying it's going a bit too good for Momonga. He went from a nobody to being the most important player in this game. And what about being a vengeful spirit? Is it any different?" Jogo asked.
Geto pressed his hand against his forehead and shook his head. "A lot. It means that Momonga has objectives that are alien to his nature as a cursed spirit meaning that we can't take Momonga's loyalty as a given anymore. We'll keep training and helping him, but be careful around him. "
"If he creates a world suitable to cursed spirits. I don't care if he destroys us, but I agree with him. We'll need some insurance from him." Jogo said.
"Geto, I have been thinking. Why not ask Momonga to kill Gojo already?" Hanami asked.
"To kill Gojo, Momonga will need complete mastery of his cursed technique and a good opportunity. Even for a genius like him, it'll take time to get a Domain that can compete against Gojo's. I'm not comfortable letting him reach that level yet." Geto answered.
'Besides, I want as much time as possible. Cursed Spirit Manipulation requires me to invest a lot of effort to control a powerful curse like Momonga. I need to weaken him somehow and take over before he becomes too powerful.' Geto thought.
Momonga's Incomplete Domain.
Even though it was daytime outside, this place was filled with darkness. Only the sounds of a sword hitting the floor could be heard while Ainz practiced his new abilities.
'I really can't grasp the final steps. ' Ainz thought as he watched Junpei fight some of his summonses.
Junpei tightened his stance and moved forwards. He was able to grab the Death Knight's sword using both of his hands. The shikigami went into action and pierced the undead's head.
One moment later, the undead's body broke apart and disappeared. Junpei's breath was short and hollow. He moved his hand to clear the sweat off of his forehead as he closed his eyes focusing his cursed energy on his ears. 'That was the last one.' He thought.
Clap clap clap.
Junpei took a deep breath and retracted his cursed energy. Ainz's siluete became visuble to the boy. "Congratulations. " The undead approached him while walking towards Junpei. "You can beat a Death Knight without taking damage. That's good, Junpei. Very good."
"Thanks to your training method, Lord Ainz. " Junpei said as he cleared the sweat from his forehead.
"You did most of the work. I just gave you the opponents. Did you get used to the healing cursed tool I gave you? " Ainz asked.
"It's a bit unsettling, to be honest. When I take damage I still flinch making me take longer to activate it, but I'm pretty much used to the weird effect it has on my cursed energy." Junpei said as he hovered his hand over his left ear near where the ear-piercing cursed tool
This was the first item Ainz created in the new world. Just a small item that casts Regeneration upon the user's will. It reached by consuming the cursed energy of whoever wore it.
Ainz snapped his fingers and summoned another batch of 3 Death Knights. "It's way better than the armor's passive healing ability, but it takes effort to activate it. You'll have to keep practicing. Try to beat them without using your cursed technique."
"Yes, lord Ainz. " Junpei said as he opened his stance. All of the Death Knights rushed him. The boy ran in between the three of them while turning his cape into a sharp blade.
As he passed through them he sliced two in half and with a spin mid-air, he killed the remaining one. 'Perfect. He's now better than one of my fodder undead.' Ainz thought.
"You can rest now. " Ainz said as he lifted his barrier and brought them back to the real world.
They were now inside an abandoned warehouse surrounded by rusted junk and dust. The place was very open and quiet, but the walls were completely covered with graffiti.
"Maybe we should have gotten a place with a shower. " Ainz said as he saw Junpei grabbing a towel from his luggage.
"It's fine, Lord Ainz. Just the fact I can train in peace is already good enough." Junpei responded. "But I gotta ask, was it really necessary to leave Japan?" Junpei asked as he threw the towel back on his luggage.
"You don't like Thailand?" Ainz asked with a humorous tone. "I didn't want to worry about the jujutsu sorcerers finding us. Besides, there is still the matter of Mahito's death." Ainz said.
Junpei's eye twitched for a moment and his expression changed as he remembered the human curse attacking his mom. "I know I shouldn't ask this, but..." Junpei took a deep breath and looked straight into Ainz's eyes.
"Could you have saved my mom from Mahito back in that fight?" Junpei asked.
With a hint of fear in his eyes, Junpei was finally able to ask the question that had been bothering him from the moment he left Japan. 'Why didn't he interfere before?' He asked himself during the few moments of calm in between battles.
"Took you much less time than I predicted to ask me that. " Ainz said as his eyes focused on Junpei. "I was watching the fight the whole time so yes I could have done something about it."
Ainz raised his hand before Junpei could react. "It would not have changed her fate though. She was going to lose her memories and become a full undead under my command. That is the same as death for her."
Junpei bit his lip. He wanted to say something, anything that could bring solace to his soul, but the fact that his mother was dead was undeniable. 'I just prolonged her life then. ' He thought.
"I can imagine what you feel like. Losing a family member is not easy. " Ainz said. The undead stared into the distance for a few moments until a flash of green emerged from his body returning his emotional state to normal.
Junpei quickly jumped at the opportunity to talk about another thing that bothered him.'No more fighting my friends.' Junpei thought as he remembered his mother's final words.
With a timid and weak voice, Junpei spoke "Now that my mom is gone I only have my friends. Scratch that, my friend. Will you..."
"If he stays in the way he will die, Junpei. That's my M.O., but Yuji is a different case. " Ainz responded with a cold and steady voice. "He's Sukuna's vessel. Because of that, there might come a time when I need to dispose of him. Regardless of his personal opinions on me."
Junpei's eyes winden. "Sukuna? That same curse object that killed my mom." He asked.
"Yes. Yuji's body has the capability of housing Sukuna. Depending on the situation, he needs to go." Ainz said as his eyes flashed red.
"But that's just a possibility, right? He might just be- " Junpei asked.
Ainz raised his hand making Junpei stop in the middle of his sentence. "Sukuna is the king of curses. Someone with a title like that is bound to be nothing but trouble. The only use I see for him is if I can get him to talk about cursed energy. Otherwise, he is just too dangerous to be kept alive." Ainz said.
"What about the group you and Mahito are a part of? Wouldn't killing Sukuna be a direct betrayal? " Junpei asked trying to find whatever excuse he could to avoid Yuji's death.
"I already betrayed them when I left Mahito to die back there, but you're right. I still need some information from Geto. " Ainz said.
"And once they talk they'll just be a liability?" Junpei asked.
"I'd prefer not to kill potential allies, but you are getting the gist of things Junpei. I'll keep my hands off of Sukuna for as long as Geto continues to aid me." Ainz said.
"To that end. I'll have you become Special Grade Curse User before our plans to seal Gojo. When that day comes you might have to fight or even kill Yuji, can you do it?" Ainz asked.
Junpei nodded. His soul screamed a gigantic no, but his mind and body could only agree to whatever Ainz requested.
Ainz turned around and started walking while he thought about his next move. 'Although it'll not surprise me if Geto decides to change his plans. He could ask me to do something about Gojo directly... Is it true that while Gojo is alive he needs Sukuna or is Sukuna the one he needs to get rid of Gojo? Now that I think about it, Geto didn't tell me what his goal was back when I met him. In that case, our alliance may come to an end sooner than I expected.'
Ainz quickly turned to Junpei making the boy stand up straight. "I need you stronger than ever, do you understand? " Ainz said as he foresaw a confrontation with both sides.
"Yes, lord Ainz. " Junpei responded.
"That's some nice cursed energy you got there, boy!" The voice of a woman echoed throughout the warehouse. Both Ainz and Junpei took a fighting stance while looking for the one responsible.
Junpei looked around, but he couldn't find her. 'It's faint, but I can feel her cursed energy.'
The woman walked boldly towards them. She approached undetected from behind a pile of garbage. Ainz heard glass shattering to his left making him quickly turn his attention to it.
The undead saw what looked like a cursed spirit floating around some bottles. It looked like a flying serpent with hard scales.
Ainz tracked the cursed spirit's movements until it arrived at a blond woman. The woman posed in a sexy manner and blew a kiss towards him while asking. "You're not a natural curse, right? Tell me, what type of woman do you like?"
