After returning to the village, Lincoln summoned a fleet of drones into the jungle. Thanks to Lisa's modifications, they were all fitted with a camera system linked to the Loud Cloud, sending footage back to the computer. Lisa left Todd in charge of monitoring the computer and alerting Lincoln of any findings. Lincoln was still wide awake as he sat on the roof of the hut he and Clyde were in. While most of his drones searched the jungle, he kept a few to patrol around the village, just in case Adonis and his party were nearby.

"Pretty full moon tonight," said Lincoln as he noticed the moon had returned to normal.

"If you like looking at the moon so much, I've got one you can stare at all you want,"

Lincoln looked over his shoulder to see Ronnie Anne on the roof, walking over and sitting beside him.

"You know, wearing that sexy nightie out in the open like that might give a guy the wrong idea," joked Lincoln.

"Mr. Loud, are you implying that I'm wearing this skimpy outfit in a transparent attempt to seduce you with my big bouncy boobs and big jiggly ass?" Ronnie Anne flirted.

"What if I am?" Lincoln flirted back.

The two stared lovingly at each other as they moved in to kiss; suddenly, they stopped midway and burst into laughter, trying to keep their voices down, so they didn't wake up Clyde.

"Oh man, I could barely keep a straight face," Laughed Lincoln.

"I don't know how Bobby and Lori can do that lovey-dovey stuff,"

"Me neither,"

"But seriously, Linc, what are you doing up?"

"Couldn't sleep; listen, Ronnie, I'm sorry you got hurt,"

"Lincoln, we've been through this. I'm fine; that hero magic saved me from the demon Lord magic, remember? I was just knocked out, and whatever damage I got, you healed,"

"Still, I should've done a better job,"

"You did the best you could. I knew the risk when I said I wanted to help,"

"Yeah," sighed Lincoln.

"Get some sleep Linc; in the morning, we're gonna enjoy some free time before we track these guys down,"

Lincoln continued to look at the full moon while Ronnie Anne got up to leave.

"Hey Lame-O, if you still wanna look at a moon, mine's still available, and unlike that one, this one you can touch," she teased.

Lincoln smiled simultaneously and felt aroused by her teasing, the feeling was still new to him, but he liked it. Until now, Lincoln never wondered how or why Ronnie Anne doesn't trigger the spell or why thinking about her arouses him when the spell should prevent that, having noticed her effect on him the moment she kissed him after he saved her.

"She really is something special to me,"

That morning,

With La Sombra HQ still not located, everyone decided to take some downtime. Clyde decided to do some sightseeing; Sid spent the day with her sister and father while her mother still worked on the preserve. Lincoln decided to go to the beach; it seemed like the best place to relax for him. Spending the morning training, by the late afternoon, Lincoln was watching the ocean waves giving him a feeling of relaxation as he sat on the beach.

"This place is calming,"

"Room for one more?" Asked Ronnie Anne.

Lincoln turned to see Ronnie Anne standing a few steps away, wearing only a hoodie; Lincoln concluded her bathing suit was under the hoodie.

"Hey Ronnie, I thought you were spending the day with your dad,"

"I was, but those lectures were getting boring so I asked if I could come hang out with you,"

Lincoln patted the sand next to him, and Ronnie Anne removed her hoodie, revealing a purple bikini underneath. Lincoln blushed, which made Ronnie Anne blush, feeling flattered.

"I take it I look good?"

"You look amazing,"

"Thanks; normally, I wear my purple one-piece and pink shorts. But since we're someplace special, I decided to try something new,"

"I see,"

As Ronnie Anne sat next to Lincoln, the two watched the crashing waves silently until Ronnie Anne spoke.

"So, any luck?"

"No, I spoke with Lisa earlier; nothing, plus no sign of Adonis and his crew,"

"We'll figure something out,"

"Hey Ronnie Anne, I've decided; when we get home, I'm going to reveal myself as being alive,"

"Linc, are you sure? I thought you wanted to wait,"

"I did. Still, I realized since those bastards already knew my name, it would be only a matter of time before they tracked me down, and if I revealed myself before then, at least they'll come for me on my terms,"

"You'll be bringing a lot of heat to Royal Woods,"

Lincoln nodded. "I know. I need to protect my sisters and Sam from Blade; that crazy bitch will come lusting for them the moment she finds out they exist, not to mention Leanne will probably target them to spite me. Still, luckily I already have plans for those two,"

"I see,"

"but there's one other factor that I'm concerned about,"

"What's that?" asked Ronnie Anne.

"When I do reveal myself, chances are they'll find out about you and your family since Bobby and Lori are married,"

"I didn't think of that,"

"Which is why I want to set up a base of operations for you and Sid,"

"Really?"

Lincoln nodded. "I won't be able to rush to Great Lake City all the time, and you can't stay in Royal Woods forever, but if you guys have your own base and gear, you'll be able to fight whatever trouble comes, plus Lisa can build another computer so we can be connected and I'll teach you and Sid my skills like I'm going to teach Clyde,"

"Are you sure we can learn it? I thought you needed a magical aura,"

"Remember the rings I gave you guys? Those can convert your physical energy into a magical aura,"

"Oh right, I forgot, did all humans and the other world use them?"

"They all did in some shape or form, though it was complicated. It was like this, most creatures in that world naturally had magical auras that responded to them as if they were limbs, but humans in the other world didn't have those auras. What they did have was different types of talismans and potions, which meant they took magic from an outside source and converted it into something they could in sparse amounts. Kind of like how plants can make their own food, but animals have to find it from something else."

"So anyone can use magic as long as they have the right tool, but the tools don't grant unlimited power." Ronnie Anne summarized.

"Right. However, Adonis, his crew, and I are special cases," Lincoln told her.

"Special cases?"

"Remember, I gained my magical aura from The Asura Queen when she used her blood to save me, making me half asura and thus with an aura of my own. Tools make it easier to use, but it's not something I'm dependent on anymore." Lincoln explained. "Adonis and those jerks got their auras from the previous heroes,"

"Previous heroes?"

"There were other heroes before them; when the original heroes died, their magical auras were extracted and passed on to the next set of heroes. They were the hero, the warrior, the mage, and the cleric,"

"So it's basically passing the torch?"

"Pretty much," Lincoln said. "However, Adonis and his crew gained much more twisted auras after they stole the demon Lord's magic; while Adonis may be more powerful, the two magical auras in him naturally oppose each other like matter and antimatter, trying to control both is probably ripping him apart from the inside,"

"What a dumbass,"

"The rest have some of the demon Lord's magic too, but Adonis has the most, which is why the contrast is affecting him the most." finished Lincoln.

"Well, I'm looking forward to the lesson,"

"Hey, babe,"

Both turned to see some guy standing a few steps away. He was handsome and fit, with a tan complexion, jet-black hair, and green eyes. He wore a perverted smile as he scanned Ronnie Anne with his eyes.

"Why don't you ditch the old guy and come hang out with my friends and me?"

"Not interested," Ronnie Anne replied.

"Aww, don't be like that,"

"She said, not interested, c'mon Ronnie Anne," Lincoln stated.

The two got up and began leaving; however, the man reached over, trying to grab Ronnie Anne's ass, before being stopped by Lincoln, who grabbed him by the wrist.

"What are you doing? Let me go," The man said, feeling like he was stuck in a vice.

"I will keep this brief because I don't want to waste much time with you. Don't you ever try to touch my girlfriend again, and when a lady says to you she's not interested, take the hint," said Lincoln in a threatening tone.

"Okay, I get it; please let go!" Said the man patting Lincoln on the side with his other hand.

Lincoln released the man's hand, giving a threatening look before he ran off. As Lincoln turned back, he noticed Ronnie Anne had a sly grin.

"What?"

"You called me your girlfriend, that's what." She flirted.

Lincoln blushed hard, realizing what he had said in the heat of the moment.

"Wait, I'm sorry, I just got caught up in the moment when he tried to…"

Lincoln was immediately calmed down by a kiss before Ronnie Anne spoke.

"Dude relax; you're acting crazier than seeing me naked last night, what you did for me was really sweet, and I know it's not official yet, but I don't mind being your official unofficial girlfriend,"

Lincoln smiled along with Ronnie Anne, and the two kissed again.

"Ahem, are we interrupting?" said Sid.

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne immediately broke apart, seeing Clyde and Sid standing there.

"So does that mean it's official?" Asked Clyde.

"Well, it's officially unofficial," said Lincoln.

Clyde and Sid rolled their eyes but then shrugged.

"Eh, it's something," said Sid.

"Listen, while you two unofficial lovebirds were cooing, Lisa called with an update, and I was coming to tell you, and I ran into Sid on the way here; I got bad news and worse news," Clyde explained.

"What's the bad news?" Asked Ronnie Anne.

"The bad news is she still hasn't found where they're hiding,"

"What's the worse news?'

"Our ride right back to Royal Woods called Myrtle early this morning; our timetable got moved up; we need to be back at the rendezvous point at 11:00 instead of midnight,"

"Damn, that means we have only 6 hours to find these jokers," groaned Lincoln.

"So what do we do now?" Asked Clyde.

"Let's head back to the village; maybe we can strategize a way to find these guys,"

As Lincoln walked, Ronnie Anne noticed something falling from his swim trunks pocket.

"Hey, Lincoln, you dropped something; it just fell out of your pocket,"

"It did? I don't remember anything in my pocket,"

Looking down, he noticed a folded piece of paper; on the front was a symbol shaped like a football with a green eye in the center.

"What is this?"

Lincoln picked up the paper and began unfolding it; to his surprise, the paper unfolded into a map.

"Is this what I think it is?" Asked Sid.

"It looks like a map of the San Lorenzo jungle, but it's old, there are sections that you don't see on a modern map, and there's a marked area on it, called sacred ground," said Lincoln.

"You think that guy that came on to me did it?" asked Ronnie Anne.

"It had to be him; how else we could've gotten this, but why?"

"What guy?" Asked Clyde.

"Some guy put the moves on me, and Lincoln chased him off,"

"Aww, cute," teased Sid.

"Later, you think this is where they're hiding?" Asked Ronnie Anne.

"Only one way to find out," replied Lincoln, summoning his phone. "Hello, Lisa,"

Later.

As everyone examined the map in Arturo's hut, they were now certain they had found La Sombra's HQ.

"This is amazing, and if this marked spot is where those poachers are hiding, then it explains why they haven't been caught," said Arturo.

"Why, dad?"

"From what I heard from people who still know, that part of the jungle is forbidden because it belongs to an ancient tribe called "The Green-Eyes," rumor has it they have some connections to the founding of the organization, tourists aren't allowed there, and neither are the locals without reason,"

"Area that no one is allowed to go into seems like a pretty good hiding spot to me," said Sid.

"Well, Lisa sent some drones to check out the area; once she calls, we'll know,"

Right on time, Lisa sent a notification to Lincoln; in it were attached photos not only confirming La Sombra was hiding there. From the photos, they had taken over an ancient shrine converting it into their base of operation. There were numerous photos of exotic animals; some endangered ones were locked in cages to be loaded onto a plane that was sitting on a runway. There were dozens of armed guards stationed everywhere.

"This is horrible; we have to do something," said Sid.

"I say we head there and take them down," said Ronnie Anne.

"Now wait just a moment, young lady; it's bad enough I let you risk your life with that tower business, but I'm not letting you get involved in something that the authorities should handle," said Arturo.

"But dad,"

"Not buts,"

"Mr. Santiago, we won't have to get involved because I have a plan," said Lincoln.

"Man with the plan is back," said Clyde.

"Mr. Santiago, I'm going to anonymously send you all the evidence that my sister sent me, and you can forward that to since she's working with them. Sid, does your mom have her phone?"

"Yeah, I spoke to her earlier while I was with my dad and sisters; she said several birds went missing from an area where they roost," explained Sid.

"Looks like we know where they are now," said Clyde.

"This is why my mom is trying to set up this preserve; if the cops have a unit for protecting the animals, then it will be harder for these creeps to get away with stuff like this," Sid said.

"Well, here's the rest of my plan; once the evidence and location are sent, we head to their location first; I can sneak in, find and steal back the gem, and while I'm at it, I'll sabotage any artillery they might have to minimize them getting away or being prepared before the authorities come to raid them,"

"What about us?" asked Ronnie Anne.

"I need you guys to wait outside when I find the gem. I want you and Clyde to head to the rendezvous point after I teleport the gem to you; I'll join you guys after I take care of things,"

"We're not leaving you behind, besides doesn't your teleport spell have problems?" asked Clyde

"It's easier to teleport things than people, and once it's with you guys, all you have to do is store it and head out," Lincoln said, and in the corner of his eye, he saw Ronnie Anne slightly blush, thanks to the little detail he was leaving out.

"I still don't like it; you might get left behind if you get stuck there,"

"Relax, I'll be behind you; just as soon as I'm done taking care of La Sombra, you guys will head back to the Village, drop Sid off, and I'll meet you there so we can go home no problem,"

Ronnie Anne still didn't like the idea since she knew they'd have to leave him behind if something went south, which she really didn't want.

"Fine, but you better be there when it's time to go, because if you're not…" started Ronnie Anne, but she couldn't finish. What threat could she give him that she was willing to enforce?

Lincoln nodded before telling everyone to get ready because they were heading out soon; Ronnie Anne said bye to Arturo, telling him she'll see him when he came home next week.

Later,

After setting off, it took a while for them to reach the sacred grounds at 8:30, finding the 2-mile marker away from the compound. Lincoln was readying himself to go when Ronnie Anne stopped him.

"You better be right behind us,"

"Don't worry; I will be,"

Ronnie Anne kissed Lincoln again before he activated his helmet and raced off while she watched.

"Good luck Lame-O,"

"You know you two are officially official, right?" Sid pointed out with a smirk.

"Yeah, I know; what's your point?" Ronnie Anne asked, smirking back.

"Nothing just wanted to see if you were still in denial," Sid said, patting her friend on the back.

Lincoln moved as fast as he could; he knew he didn't have to worry about any long-range sensors. Since he knew Lisa would've disabled them already using the drone to hack them, he just needed to avoid the guards. Lincoln was highly skilled in stealth, The Asur did have a warrior background, and their preferred method of fighting was stealth, though they were capable of frontal assaults too. Lincoln looked at the area first-hand, making it over a tall wall blocking his path. The Shrine was a large building with four staircases on the north, south, east, and west side, all leading to a room that was at the very top. The shrine seemed to be at the center of the area, and there were other buildings more modernized surrounding it. As he stayed in the shadows, he noticed a hangar behind the shrine's south side that seemed to be the same one he saw in the photos. "Better check out the shrine first"

Standing up, Lincoln slammed his hands down to his sides before raising them up into a T formation, revealing he now had wings; Lincoln's suit had a set of small retractable wings built into his underarms, allowing him to glide through the air. Jumping off the wall, Lincoln began flying through the air above the guards, who didn't bother looking up. Lincoln used the updraft to take himself higher, landing on the shrine's roof. Looking through a hole in the ceiling, noticing a much more modernized office. At a desk, he could see a man about the same age as Lynn Sr. sitting at his desk working. Lincoln quickly concluded he must be the leader of La Sombra as another man came running up the north side steps.

"Sir…I have updates,"

"Start with the man who returned with the gem,"

"Unfortunately, we were forced to euthanize him; he was too unstable, talking nonsense about monsters and towers,"

"Damn, those were some of my best men; all this loss for one gem, that fat bastard is going to compensate for this," growled the leader. "Speaking of which, where is his brat son?"

"He's back in the city at his hotel; after we load the animals and send them off at dawn, we're transferring the gem and him home,"

"Very good, that self-entitled spoiled brat was working my last nerve; if it weren't for the fact I still need his father as a business contact, I would have killed him myself,"

"The gem is stored in our storage shed with the rest of the valuables we gain after taking over this place and driving out the green eyes,"

"Very good,"

"If you don't mind my asking, why do business with this man anyway? You could have easily swayed the administration not to declare this jungle a nature preserve,"

"Had I done so, it would have come off as a bribe; however, he has connections within several governments, including San Lorenzo, so he could keep the preserve from being finalized without me getting heat from the public," he explained. "The old administration never bothered too much with our activities, but this new one is starting to crack down on our activities, and if this preserve is finalized, there will be units patrolling the jungle, making our endeavors harder,"

"I see,"

"Now head to the hangar; make sure the plane to ship these beasts out is ready,"

"Yes, sir,"

The man immediately left; Lincoln followed, gliding to the hangar ahead of him as he landed on the roof and watched through the skylight the man entered through the hangar gate and closed it behind him. The airplane hangar was the second-largest building, big enough to house an Antonov An-124 Ruslan cargo plane and cargo for immediate loading. Lincoln saw at least three dozen cages, each with an animal inside, Some were unconscious, and some were barely conscious, most likely from a tranquilizer used on them. The man smirked as he checked on the cargo.

"I don't see why we don't just kill all of you now, but that woman in London wants you alive and fresh. Guess she wants to do it herself; it's amazing what people will pay for a fur coat," he mocked.

Entering through the skylight, Lincoln dropped down behind the man, who didn't notice since he was still mocking the animals. Tapping his shoulder, the man jumped before turning around and was greeted by Lincoln. Before the man could draw his gun, Lincoln backhanded him, knocking him back and making him drop his gun. The man then pulled out a knife charging Lincoln to stab him, but it bent, shocking him. Lincoln then punched him in the belly before delivering an uppercut knocking him on his back. Still conscious, the man tried to get back up but was pinned down by Lincoln's foot resting on his neck.

"Okay, now that we've had some fun, let's get down to business," said Lincoln, putting pressure on the man's neck. "I need answers, and you got them, so start talking before I cripple you from the neck down, "

"Who or what the hell are you? " ask a man struggling to talk.

"Oh, I have many names, but lately, I've been going by The Guardian or Guardian for short; now, as I said, you're going to tell me what I want to know or else, "

"Please don't kill me, " begged the man.

"As I said, it all depends on how cooperative you are," Lincoln said. "Now, where do you keep all the valuables you bastard stole? And where do you keep your artillery?"

"Why do you want to know that?"

"You bastards stole something for me, and I want it back now. Isn't that how criminals like you work? I want, therefore, I should have? Now, where is it, or would you rather become a quadriplegic?" threatened Lincoln.

"No, please, our loot is in the west building, and our weapons are stored in the East Building, but it won't do you any good; armed guards are protecting the west building "

"Thank you for your cooperation; as an added bonus, aside from keeping your legs, you get to take a nice well-deserved nap,"

"Nap?"

Lincoln then delivered a hard straight to the man's face knocking him out before taking his foot off his neck; as Lincoln walked to the animals, he gave them all a comforting smile though they couldn't see through his helmet.

"Don't worry, there are some people on the way to help you guys, but in the meantime, I'll make sure you're not going anywhere,"

Lincoln then summoned a disc with two dials; the larger dial had an arrow pointing down, and the smaller dial had an arrow pointing up. Throwing the disc at the plane, it magnetically attached itself to the tail end; the dials began turning, and opposite directions until the arrows met in the center before the disc Unleashed an electrical charge that fried the plane's operating system making it incapable of flight, grounding it, Lincoln then did the same to every jeep he could find even cutting off escape by car.

"You just gotta love Lisa tech,"

With his work done, Lincoln was about to leave when he noticed something.

"Those could be useful,"

Exiting the hangar via the skylight, Lincoln headed to the west building first; true to the man's word, the place was heavily guarded. There were guards at both entrances and one on the roof.
"Dang it, I need to get rid of those guys,"

Getting an idea, Lincoln headed to the east building; that building was less guarded as while the entrances were covered, the roof wasn't. Landing on the roof Lincoln saw no skylight but quickly fixed that problem by cutting a hole. He could see various weapons through the hole, ranging from handguns to rocket launchers. This left Lincoln dumbfounded about why a poacher organization would need so many guns and how they got them in the first place.

"This junk's gotta go, and I have the perfect tool for the job," he thought.

Lincoln then summoned a device that looked like an egg timer, shaped like and the size of a real egg, twisting the time to about 45 secs before dropping it into the hole and running. The device in question was a timed explosive device that Lincoln made; the contents in the device was a blue powder made from a volatile fungus from the other world, and the timer itself built up kinetic energy as it counted down; the longer the countdown, the stronger the blast when the two mixed. Gliding back to the shrine's roof, Lincoln had about 10 seconds left as he waited.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,"

BOOM!

An explosion went off, shaking the compound and blasting the doors and windows off the east building. All the men came running, including the boss, when he saw smoke coming from the building.

"What the hell just happened!?" yelled the boss."

"We don't know; the building just exploded from the inside," said one man as they saw fire inside.

"Don't just stand there, you idiots; put out that fire before this whole compound is burned to ash or the smoke gives away our location!"

The men began to scramble, trying to put out the fire; with this distraction, Lincoln glided back to the west building before landing on the not vacant roof. Lincoln entered through the skylight; dropping down, Lincoln was surprised by the amount of stolen loot, obviously taken from the people who used to live there. Despite that, Lincoln quickly found the gem. Summoning his magic circle, Lincoln placed the gem in it before teleporting it away. The gem instantly appeared in the car; Ronnie Anne stored it away, signaling it was time to go. Ronnie Anne was about to drive off but noticed smoke from a distance.

"Is that smoke? Maybe we should check it out,"

"Relax, Ronnie Anne; that smoke is probably something Lincoln did to give away their location to make those jerks easier to find," said Clyde. Everyone starts hearing the sound of motors coming their way. "See what I tell you? The calvary is already on its way,"

"Wait, that can't be them; mom told me their raid wasn't supposed to happen until right before sunrise,"

"Then where are all those motors coming from?" Asked Clyde. "Wait, those aren't motors; that's buzzing, and now it sounds like it's coming from above," Clyde said, correcting himself.

Everyone peeked out the window to see where that sound was coming from, but all three looked on, and shock and horror as a dark shadow passed over them and made its way to La Sombra HQ.

"Uh, Ronnie Anne?"

"Screw the plan! We're going," said Ronnie Anne driving to the smoke.

Exiting through the skylight, Lincoln felt proud his plan worked as he watched the smoke rising.

"Well, my work is done, they're pretty much done; I love it when a plan comes together, time to go and me up with… wait, is that buzzing?"

Looking out to where the sound was coming from, Lincoln's eyes widened under his helmet upon seeing what was coming under the moonlight. A swarm of giant killer bees the size of Vanzilla was coming. These bees had jagged mouths locked into twisted smiles; Lincoln wondered where these things came from but quickly realized.

"Adonis,"

As the men continued putting out the fire, they all began hearing a buzzing sound.

"Now what?" Said the boss looking up.

The boss's face froze in horror, seeing the giant bees circling the compound. Suddenly one broke formation as it flew down towards the men. In a panic, those still with guns and ammo began firing at it, but the bullets only bounced off its exoskeleton; the bee began making a buzzing sound that sounded like laughter.

"Is that thing laughing at us?"

As the bee approached, it opened its jaw, ready to bite down on the first person it could. The men screamed in horror; however, a lone gunshot was heard before the bee dropped to the ground in front of the dead before it could bite. Confused, the boss was about to approach the corpse when Lincoln dropped in front of him.

"Who the hell are you?"

"The guy who just saved your worthless life, now take your men and lock yourselves in your hangar," demanded Lincoln. "Or would you rather deal with that yourselves," warned Lincoln as the buzzing became aggressive.

No other option, the La Sombra leader and his men ran for cover as the bees attacked; Lincoln tried his best to protect them as he shot and killed a few bees; a few men were hit with a honey-like secretion slowing them before being grabbed, flown up, and devoured by the swarm. Making it to the hangar, the survivors quickly locked themselves inside; however, Lincoln then destroyed the controls trapping them. Before Lincoln could focus, he was sprayed from the neck down with a sticky substance that pinned him to the gate. The substance quickly hardened, trapping him as he tried breaking free. Despite his acquired skills and other advantages, he could not break loose. The bee who trapped him began hovering before him as it stuck out its tongue and began licking his helmet.

"Ah, gross, you officially owe me dinner and a movie,"

The bee began laughing as it readied its stinger to stab Lincoln. As Lincoln continued struggling to get free, the bee was about to sting him when suddenly an arrow went through its head,

"Huh?"

Suddenly Ronnie Anne and the others came in, with Clyde punching the shell-freeing Lincoln.

"Man, am I glad to see you guys,"

"Care to explain those things," Sid asked, pointing to the downed insect.

"If I had to guess, those assholes must have used the demon lord magic to transform those bees. Either that or San Lorenzo has a serious killer bee infestation." Lincoln remarked.

Suddenly more bees came to attack, but Lincoln summoned his sword, locking horns as they stalemated each other,

"This bug is about as strong as me; Adonis must have made them specifically with me in mind," Lincoln said.

As the bees tried multiple times to sting Lincoln, he began thinking to himself.

4. I'm a little annoyed by the harem genre for being too predictable because of how the MC plays favorites now. In animes like Tenchi Muyo, the mc care equally for every girl and is annoyed equally by their antics too.

5. now the Mc has ab obvious favorite while the others are strung along, and most of the time, he picks the girl that doesn't deserve him, like the bitchy tsundere that blames him for everything even when it is not his fault (akane tendo), instead of a girl who already loves him and doesn't need to build up to it while the tsundere gets jealous and angry if he bonds with another girl while claiming she does want him.
