Bony Boy goes to JJK World

Hello there, Author here. How are you guys doing? Hope you're enjoying the weekend as much as I am.

Anyways, the reason I'm writing this message is to talk about some stuff you guys mentioned in the recent reviews. Recently I got some spicy takes on the reviews and that left me confused about whether I had made a mistake with the pacing/writing in general, maybe I needed to add more detail, dialogue, better cohesion, etc. Or if it was... well... the outcome of the recent fights. I understand that the people who read fanfiction really really REALLY like the story on which the fic is based, I mean... you wouldn't be here reading about it otherwise. And I also understand that the Overlord fans take the canon strength of the cast really seriously and thus I was unsure how to work with their opinions. Maybe I was taking them too lightly and was neglecting an opportunity to learn, maybe they didn't mean anything. I didn't know which one though.

So I spent some type reading and rereading some of the reviews thinking deeply about them, but when I couldn't come up with something useful in some of them. I wasn't sure if there was an actual problem or not, let alone how to improve the story using them. That left me kinda lost for the past week and a half, but now, thanks to recent reviews, maybe I stressing over nothing after all.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter. Hope I didn't bore you too much before the chapter. Leave suggestions, advice, and criticism, if you have the time. Also, if you do write a review, please mention the big-picture aspects of my writing too. I'm a beginner and have a lot to learn so if you could bring the major issues to light I would be grateful.

One final thing, about the recent things on the JJK manga. I'm behind a few chapters, but I'll look into what's going on. Hopefully, I get to see some Sukuna vs Gojo action in the new chapters or maybe in the coming weeks. Can't wait to see XD.

Bye.

-Lots of spoilers on JJK read at your own risk.-

Kashimo's pov

The fight continued raging on between Gargantua and Maharoga. Thanks to the huge punches, more and more pieces of debris were being thrown all around the flayer, some of them even made it into the lake a Gargantua struggled to beat the mosquito-sized opponents.

The shikigami was also having a bad time. Its attacks were doing small amounts of damage it could switch some stats around and the blade was to hit on a weak spot. If Mahoraga failed to do either of those things, however, the damage was so low that Gargatua's A.I. didn't even register. The guardian would simply look at it as some sort of rounding error or some bug in the sensors, making it even more dangerous for Maki who was fighting.

"Damn it. Damn it. Why is this thing so tough? We're all the guardians before like that too? " Maki thought as she tried to get away from Maharoga. She had to keep a good distance from the shikigami at all times to avoid being targeted by Gargantua or by Maharoga itself. The damage Maki did was also abysmally low and Gargantua didn't consider her to be a threat. If she was fighting by herself, Gargantua would allow Maki to do as she pleased while the guardian chased the other intruders who had just entered.

"Make the damn boat go faster, Geto. " Kashimo said as he sent another wave of electrified cursed energy toward the lake instantly frying all of the smaller curses. He then turned his head to Gargantua and started observing its movement.

Gargantua slowly turned its attention to the lake. Its A.I. quickly noticed the presence of two intruders who it judged to be capable of harming it. They would be the next target after Maharoga was dealt with.

"That thing is very powerful. I would be a great warm-up for my fight with Sukuna so hurry it up." Kashimo said as he turned his back to the guardian.

"Alright, alright. I'm doing it already. See? " Geto said as he pointed at the four grade one curse he had brought out to push the boat. Normally, they would be moving at a very high speed, but the water was somehow sapping their cursed energy which made the trip even longer than it should have been.

"Sukuna! I can't wait to see him! " Yorozu said while blushing a little, before turning to Kashimo. "And you better not get in my way when I find him. I have dibs on Sukuna. "

Kashimo lifted an eyebrow before asking, "You want to fight him too? "

Yorozu stopped for a moment before looking down while hiding her face behind her fingers. "Fight? Yes... you could say that. " Yorozu said before blushing even harder as she tried to contain her giggles.

Kashimo was left speechless as he turned his head to Geto who simply shrugged and continued focusing on controlling his cursed spirits. The curse user then turned his head to Yorozu and said, "I'm gonna fight Sukuna and if he's still alive after I'm done with him then you can fight or whatever..." Kashimo said as he turned away from Yorozu.

Yorozu stood up and started screaming, "Huh?! That's not gonna happen you, bitch. I'm go -"

"Calm down you too. Why don't you two fight once we made it most of the way? There's still much ground to cover until the sixth layer. " Geto said as he placed a small fourth-grade curse in between them.

"Just get the boat moving already... " Kashimo said as he turned his attention to the curses from Ainz's domain who were slowly approaching them.

Yorozu immediately turned her head away from Kashimo before saying something that neither Geto nor Kashimo understood. She then continued saying some nonsense before pouting and finally shutting up.

'What a bitch. ' Kashimo thought as he prepared to exorcise the curses. 'Still, she's quite powerful. Hopefully, Sukuna can keep her under control, otherwise, I might have to deal with her before the sixth layer. ' Kashimo unleashed another cursed energy wave on the lake.

'What a group of idiots I'm leading here. I wish I didn't have to deal with them, but knowing Ainz, I doubt that I could make it to the sixth floor by myself. Still, all of this trouble just so that I can meet up with Sukuna and make him an actual player of this stupid game... from puppeteer all the way to puppet. How far have I fallen... ' Geto thought as he shook his head.

It didn't take long until the boat reached land and once it did, Kashimo immediately jumped to the beach and started running toward Gargantua. "Hey! What the hell are you doing? " Yorozu said as she created a huge pair of scissors that hovered in the air. She then jumped on top of it before speeding away. "Just kidding! See you there, loser. "

Kashimo saw as the woman flew over the cliff. 'I'm gonna be the first one to get to Sukuna. Bitch! ' Yorozu thought as she gained more and more altitude and in just a few seconds, Kashimo was no longer visible.

"No matter how strong this so-called guardian is. It can't keep me away from my love. Sukuna! I'm coming. " Yorozu said as she speed up even further.

'Why didn't she do that before? ' Both Kashimo and Geto asked themselves. The former quickly shook his head to focus on continuing the pursuit, while the latter just covered his mouth before laughing a bit.

"Well, that kind of enthusiasm is exactly why I brought her in the first place so I guess all is well. Either way, as long as Sukuna's vessel is kept sleeping, I can't do anything. So I'll leave the grunt work for the grunts and just take it easy for a few hours. " Geto said as he brought out two first-grade curses to protect himself. He then started walking toward the Guardian making sure to stop at every possible distraction he could find.

Ieri's pov

After checking the wall section on the far ends of the layer, Nobara and Ieri returned to the beach areas to search for the door leading to the next layer. While they didn't have success finding anything that remotely looked like the previous door, they had confidence that it was just a matter of time. Surely, once the guardian was defeated, the next challenge would be to find the door which could take multiple hours if you consider the state of the person who defeated the gigantic monster would be.

However, instead of finding the exit. They found a new group leaving their boats behind as two of the players rushed ahead leaving someone behind. 'Is he some type of support or maybe reinforcements? Maybe he's just gonna go after the other players while his team goes to fight the guardian or even better, they know that thing won't come down easily and are trying to pace themselves as a group?' Nobara thought as she saw the man manifest two different curses. 'Whoever he is, it's obvious that he's not with jujutsu high. Taking a chance to pick him off now seems worth it. I have the surprise element plus healing and if things go south I could just escape... damn it. He looks so strong though. ' Nobara thought as she played with a nail between her thumb and index finger.

Ieri, however, didn't believe that they could take the man that was walking leisurely on the beach. 'That's... Geto? Impossible, Gojo killed him a good 10 years ago. ' Ieri thought as she remembered Todo's and Yaga's report. 'Toji is in this Domain as well so Geto being here is not much of a stretch. How is that even possible to begin with? ' Ieri thought as she turned her attention to Nobara who had finally made up her mind.

"Don't do it, Nobara. " Ieri said as she grabbed the jujutsu students right before she tried to sneak attack. Nobara quickly turned her head to Ieri.

"I know it's a stretch, but maybe we could weaken him here. That guy is bound to be a problem for Gojo later so we might as well soften him up a bit." Nobara said as she pulled back the hand that Ieri was holding.

"That dude over there is Suguro Geto. Back in the day, he was considered to be on par with Gojo. Do you understand what that means? Forget about the beach for now. Let's just hide and wait him out." Ieri said as she slowly began to crawl away from the cliff.

Nobara's life quickly flashed in front of her as she imagined the counterattack from Geto and the subsequent fight. 'As strong as Gojo? Is that some type of joke?' Nobara thought as she pictured herself trying to sneak attack Gojo only to be completely annihilated a few moments afterward. She then slowly started crawling away from the cliff.

"Why didn't you tell me that before? " Nobara said with a small voice as she began to worry that Geto would simply show up behind her or something.

"I wasn't sure at first and besides it's not like I'm walking around expecting to see dead people. " Ieri said whispering in an even smaller voice. So faintly that Nobara almost didn't hear her.

"Dead people?! What do you mean? That's a vengeful spirit or something?! " Nobara asked as she climbed over a rock.

"I'll explain later. Shut up and crawl. " Ieri said as she too descended into a small valley before hiding in between a few rocks. Ieri's whispers were even quieter than before.

"What?!" Nobara said as she climbed behind Ieri.

"I said shut up and crawl. " Ieri said in the most polite way she could think of.

'Hmm... not gonna attack then. That's a bummer. I wanted something to keep me busy for a while. ' Geto thought as he began to walk toward them. He only made it halfway before a gigantic piece of rock fell toward him. 'Whatever I guess. It's not like they were competitive in the first place. ' Geto thought as he turned his attention to the rock.

He then snapped his fingers and ordered his curses to block the attack which they did with the greatest of ease by punching the rock in a different direction.

Geto turned his attention to Gargantua once more. "She's really getting into it, huh? " Geto said as he saw Gargantua falling on its back only to then start rolling around on the ground.

Yorozu's pov

It took around a full minute for her to reach the guardian and as soon as she arrived, Yorozu aimed her scissors to Gargantua's head and went for it. Gargantua's A.I. had been watching out for her ever since Yorozu had touched the beach so the guardian immediately reacted by punching her.

Yorozu jumped out of the scissors and started running on top of the arm as her transportation vehicle got destroyed in a single attack. 'It took my cursed technique straight to its hand, but suffered no damage? Are the arms made of rocks or something? ' Yorozu said as she created another construct, this time a spear, and jumped on top of it.

'Who the hell is that? ' Maki thought as she saw Gargantua immediately switching targets from Maharoga to the woman and then back to Maharoga. 'Is she with the curse users? Should I target her or maybe just let her tire the guardian? ' Maki started asking herself what her next move would be.

Gargantua missed the second punch. Yorozu simply flew right under it before throwing the spear toward the center of the guardian. 'It is just a hunk of rock. The cursed energy is immense and it's clad in a very dense barrier. This thing also packs a lot of power. ' Yorozu thought as she saw the spear hitting the guardian only to do next to damage.

'The defense is insane too. Even my armor can not compare to this. If I had more time I would have wanted to study it. What a shame. ' Yorozu thought as she brought out another spear.

Maharoga quickly seized the opportunity to switch his stats by rotating the wheel behind its back as it made its way to the center of Gargantua's chest. The guardian seized attacking for a few moments to focus on Yorozu and it not only left Gargantua open, but it also left the guardian out of balance. Because the punch left Gargantua in such a weird position, Maharoga felt that it would take a solid four to five seconds for something so large as Gargantua to regain its balance and perform another attack.

However, that was actually a trap laid out by Gargantua's A.I. who quickly understood how Maharoga fought. If left an opening, it would go for it without hesitation. That was Gargantua's conclusion which lead the guardian to throw a wide punch at something too close to its body.

'The stone dool is tipping over?! ' Yorozu thought as it saw Gargantua's weight suddenly shift from one leg to another. 'That's not it! ' Yorozu quickly understood what was about to come. She quickly created another spear in the air and held on to it before sending it upwards.

Maharoga found itself running to the worst possible position while Maki was left holding onto the side of the guardian. "Oh, shit! " Maki screamed as she jumped on a nearby and started running away.

Gargantua fell on the floor face first crushing Maharoga underneath its body. The shikigami attacked back with its sword, but it wasn't much of an exchange since the amount of damage that Maharoga received was nearly enough to kill it right away. The real problem was not over yet as the guardian started rolling toward the lake.

"Of course, it's coming my way. Why the hell wouldn't it? " Maki thought as she jumped tree after tree while Gargantua was just a few meters away from crushing her. "Shit! "

"Don't bring that thing here!" Maki heard a voice saying to her left. She then glanced in that direction where she saw Hakari running for his life.

"Hakari! Do something! " Maki said as a rock fell right in front of her.

"What am I supposed to do in this situation?! What makes you think that I can do anything about this? " Hakari said as he punched a random curse who got in his way. He had to carefully control his power so that the punch would land in a way that didn't force him to slow down.

"Gojo said you were strong and Yuta said you were lucky. Where the hell is your fucking luck? " Maki said as Gargantua was about to pass over both of them.

"I don't think this is a situation where luck can just fix- " Hakari stopped talking once he heard a weird noise coming from the guardian who stopped rolling right before reaching them. "Guess I was wrong! Thank you lady luck, I will never doubt you again. " Hakari said as he continued running.

Maki, on the other hand, continued running just so she could grab Hakari's shoulder before pulling him backward. "Where the hell are you going?! We need to kill the guardian to escape. " Maki said as Hakari stopped running.

"Don't abuse lady luck, Maki. This is not something we can beat. I don't even know what the hell we're doing here anymore, but Gojo's got it. It was a fucking delusion sending anyone else, but him and Yuta in this Domain. Let's just get out of here. " Hakari said as he was about to turn back only for Maki to step pull him once more.

"The door is on the guardian's chest. " Maki said which made Hakari blink twice. She then explained that while fighting Gargantua, she found the door leading to the fifth layer on the guardian's back. That was not a problem for Hakari since he didn't want to continue the game anyways.

"So what? I want to know where the exit is not where the- " Hakari was cut off by the sound of the guardian standing up once more. It was very brief, but Hakari saw the inside of Gargantua's mouth. He saw what looked like one of the pieces carved out of the previous layers, the same type of bricks, moss, and even the weird candles were present alongside a huge door frame on the wall.

"No way... " Hakari said as Maki took a deep breath.

"Yep. I saw it a while ago when it was falling down. The exit... is in that thing. " Maki said as she turned to Gargantua.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me! " Hakari screamed as he scratched his head. He then turned around and started running to the guardian.

"Any chances we can just slip in there and escape? " Hakari asked as he grabbed onto the guardian's shoulder.

"Nearly impossible. This thing might have a trap, but if you wanna try go right ahead. " Maki said as she started climbing to the head. Hakari soon followed right behind her. "Even if we did that though, what about the others? Most of them are not capable of moving as we can. They would be crushed in no time. The best chance is to defeat it and then escape. "

Gargantua finally stood up before shaking its shoulder which made it impossible for them to continue their conversation.

"Fuck my life. " Hakari said as he saw Maharoga, who had only one of its arms, climbing the guardian's arm and leading Gargantua's hand right to them. The shikigami got hit right afterward and was thrown upward, but the arm didn't stop as the A.I. was aware of the presence of a few bugs on its shoulder. "Fuck! My! Life! " Hakari said as he jumped to Gargantua's back alongside Maki who immediately started climbing.

"Keep up, Hakari. This is just gonna get worst. " Maki said as she quickly made her way up the neck to the head where she started attacking with her sword once again.
