Kitt was pleased that Melissa had – finally – apologized to Michael. Kitt knew that trustworthiness was important to Michael. His own and others. Michael's willingness to work with people was directly correlated to how much trust he placed in them.
And his sense of betrayal was similarly correlated. Because Michael also valued his ability to know when to trust someone and when not to. Which was why he had been so hurt by Melissa's decision not to talk with him before going after Karr.
Based on what Bonnie had said, Kitt expected Melissa to continue to test her limits . . . and Michael's patience. Kitt wondered how Michael would deal with someone who behaved, well, like Michael himself. It promised to be interesting.
