Rhode did not expect her first meeting with her baby brother is through, what Triton calls, Dream Vision.

(This explains why her parents and brother fell asleep at odd hours)

She was displeased at what she saw.

Not at her half-brother, no. but at the mortals.

She means, what kind of smart idea it is, to left children (with attitude issue) unsupervised to see if they learn anything from "Lord of The Flies" of all thing?! There is so many things goes wrong and Rhode is entirely unsurprised to see a boy was carted off to Infirmary.

Then the Chemistry. Oh, if only Rhode can touch the teacher, she would have shake her bones off. Really. Create something explosive?! Does she want to kill the students for all the misery they caused throughout school year?! And when a dangerous substance is created, she congratulates them instead?

This school is a madhouse, Rhode decided.

At least her brothers are fine.

Yes. Brothers. A baby Cyclops named Tyson.

It warmed her heart that Percy instinctively gravitated to his half-brother and tried to defend him, despite feeling embarrassed and exhausted. Boys at his age want to have fun, but despite it would be easy for him to abandon his cyclops brother (and believe her when Rhode said such thing had happened before), Percy still stick with him. Awkward it might be.

When it came to P.E. class…

Rhode bristled in anger and helplessness when she saw them.

Laistrygonians.

Dreadful, barbaric creature.

And they were aiming to eat her baby brothers!

No wonder her family pushing the boundary of Ancient Law so strongly!

Rhode can only watch with anxiety when the Laistrygonians summon more dodgeball straight from volcano (as in, burning and explosive), and threw them around. Endangering everyone (and that fossil made coach DID. NOT. NOTICE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS SCHOOL?!), especially her brother—

The baby cyclops come to the rescue. Catching two exploding ball from Field of Punishments and hurl them back at the Laistrygonians, with loud "BAAAAAD!" and the giants explode upon impact with their own weapon.

Oh, many blessings for him.

One Laistrygonian dare to wails as if wronged. Rhode sneered at it. If you can't handle burning things, don't carry or thrown them around!

She almost have panic attack when Percy bait one of the remaining Laistrygonian to throw the exploding ball of doom at him. Only to dodge out at the last moment so it explode the wall behind him. Revealing… most chaotic, smelly locker she ever know.

And many belongings thrown out.

With Percy's landed near the Giant's Feet. She knows it was his. There's something in the pants' pockets that feels like blessed by the sea.

And her baby cyclops brother was dazed after destroy the other Laistrygonian, only for the last one standing throw a ball at his skull. Thankfully he was alright.

Not so thankfully, her mortal half-brother was ready to give himself up.

Tyche seems to still on her brother's side when at last moment, someone manage to save him. An Athena's daughter.

A rather rude one.

Now, look. Rhode did not hate Athena. She did not have personal enmity with her. Yes, she was angry at her for Pallas Incident (and the reason why Triton and Athena is to not put in the same room together without buffers). But! She like to view Athena's children based on their own merit.

So far… while she is grateful the girl had saved her brothers' life, she is upset at her for giving Tyson a harsh treatment. Asking if he is homeless? Thinking he is retarded and cannot talk? And being cruel when he just compliments her? Rude. Very very rude.

"Annabeth, what are you talking about? Laistry-what?"

"Laistrygonians. The monsters in the gym. They're a race of giant cannibals who live in the far north. Odysseus ran into them once, but I've never seen them as far south as New York before."

Yes. Laistrygonians lived up in the far north. Alaska and Canada.

"Laistry – I can't even say that. What would you call them in English?"

"Canadians."

Oi. Racist.

"Hey," Percy interjects, bit upset. "Pick something else? Tri… someone tells me I have relatives living in Canada."

Who knows Triton is loose lipped?

"Giants."

Runt of Giants, actually. You do not want to see the Real Giants. Especially, Bane of Gods.

The two of them debates a little more. And Rhode sighed part exasperation part fondness when her demigod half brother fail to notice Tyson is a Cyclops, and tries to explain their world. Strange that Mist affects him strongly. Is Hecate messing with him or the Fates have things stored for him? Rhode cannot decide which one is worse.

They forced to retreat further into the city. Talking about transportation to Camp Half Blood. Rhode wonders why her brother didn't just call his mother and ask for lift.

Athena's daughter, Annabeth as she heard the name uttered, pulled a Drachma, and all of sudden Rhode has bad premonition.

Her premonitions come true when she heard the child shouted the damned words.

"Anakoche! Harma epitribeios!"

"Not them…!" Rhode pales.

She had tried the service. It was when Taxi become a thing. She and her siblings were curious of the human's transportation, and Gray Sister happens to be nearby with their recently changed chariot.

Let it be said… mistakes were made. (It involves at least three rivers and one lake get polluted, a storm, nearly being shoot by Party Ponies, having dozens of dryads cursing angrily at them, and four of them smelled like vomit.

And screaming.

Lots of screaming)

All four of them swore off entering that taxi ever since. Probably developing motion sickness when it come to Taxi.

And she has to get Gray Sister's Taxi from Hell (literal) Take Two?

No. No no no no no. Absolutely not!

Time to knock herself awake.
