Chapter 7
Party Planning
"Alex!" Casey said, shaking the sleeping blonde who still had her glasses on. "Alex, you better wake up! We have class soon!"
"Huh?" Alex sleepily replied, sitting up to a puddle in her lips and underwear as she rubbed her eyes.
"Jesus, when did you go to bed?"
"Like… 4 o'clock," Alex grumbled, eyes drooping and sleepy.
"4?! What the hell did you do all night?" Casey asked surprised, putting her hair up in a ponytail.
Alex began to blush and turn red, not answering Casey.
Casey, catching on to the silence, turned and looked at her. "Did you… actually do it?"
Alex weakly smiled, still feeling somewhat embarrassed. "Yeah. Like… 4 times."
Casey's eyes grew wide. "4 fucking times? Jesus, Alex!" She then smiled a wicked smile at Alex. "How was it?"
Alex smiled nervously. "Umm, honestly? Amazing. It felt… so good."
"I am so damn proud of you, Lex," Casey said. "We should go to that sandwich shop and celebrate."
Alex laughed, finally getting ready. "That sounds like a great idea."
"So… were you thinking of soccer girl?" Casey pried.
Alex froze, remembering the texts they shared last night. "Uhh… first off, her name is Olivia. Secondly, I think I did more than that…"
Casey turned to look at her, eyebrows raised. "What do you mean?"
Alex grabbed her phone and handed it to Casey, who read carefully through their text messages from the night previous. She watched her carefully, arms folded as Casey read every text, her eyes and mouth opening wider and wider.
"Oh… my… God…" Casey scrolled up through the messages again. "Oh… my God. You sexted her?!"
"That's not sexting!" Alex defended.
"Uhh… yeah, Lex. You both wacked it to each other. Oh my God, girl. Go you!" Casey gave Alex a few pats on the back.
"Can you not say 'wacked it?' Eww, Casey!" Alex lightly pushed Casey's shoulder.
"What?" Casey said giggling. "You did! You've known this girl… a week, and she's already got you touching yourself? And you've never even kissed anyone yet?"
Alex groaned as she grabbed her items to head to the bathroom. "Well, hopefully she'll be kissing me soon," Alex said proudly, opening the door to head to the bathroom.
"Wow," Casey laughed.
Alex turned to look at her, smile wide across her face.
"Glad to meet the real Alexandra Cabot." Casey returned the smile as Alex went to the bathroom.
Casey and Alex made it just on time to their Political Science class, sitting next to Charlie and Trevor as they usually did.
"Mornin' ladies," Charlie said.
"Morning Charlie," Alex said with a big smile, still on cloud 9 from the night previous.
"Hi Trevor," Casey said, leaning forward to see Trevor.
"Hi Casey," Trevor said back with a big grin. "You look happy today, Alex."
Alex gave a big smile. "I am, thanks." She pulled out the can of Red Bull from her bag, sitting it on the desk in front of her. Before cracking it open, she took a picture of it and texted it to Olivia.
Alex: Morning, Olivia. Thanks for this, btw. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I'm hoping this comes in handy (;
"Good morning, class! Let's get started."
Olivia slammed the alarm on her dresser before throwing the blankets off of herself and crawling out of bed. Standing up and stretching, she heard a loud thud on the ground. Looking down, she sighed as she bent down to pick up the vibrator that fell from her lap, shoving it back in her dresser.
She made her way over to the mirror to brush her hair before quickly throwing on an outfit. She grabbed her phone and headed to the bathroom before heading downstairs, where she heard music.
"Sup, Liv?" Elliot said over the music, frying up some bacon.
"Mornin' El," Olivia said with a yawn.
Turning to look at her, he studied her face before responding. "Still tired?"
"Yup," Olivia said, stretching. "Had a… late night."
Elliot threw the bacon on the plate and sat it on the counter with the half-cold freezer waffles and still-warm sausage links. He raised his eyebrow at her. "Oh, yeah? You make a move on Blondie yet?"
"Hey, you two," a young blonde woman said, wrapping her arms around Elliot from behind.
"Hey baby," Elliot said, bending down to kiss the woman.
"Mornin' Kathy," Olivia said. "You stay over again?" Her eyebrow was raised.
"Yup!" Kathy said, giving Elliot another kiss.
"Yeah, you can say we had a late night too," Elliot said with a smirk as he grabbed Kathy's ass and gave her a long kiss, making her giggle.
Olivia laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, you make a move on Blondie yet?" Elliot grabbed a few sausage links and started eating them.
"Ooo, Blondie? Who's that?" Kathy asked, eyebrows raised.
"Some freshman chick Olivia hit with a soccer ball. She's got the hots for her." Elliot grabbed some bacon and shoved it in his mouth.
"Oh, really? Do tell!" Kathy grabbed a plate and started piling waffles on her plate. "El, these are cold. You're supposed to make these last."
"Sorry, babe." Elliot grabbed her plate and threw the waffles back in the toaster. "Hot waffles, comin' up!"
"Okay, can we stop calling her 'Blondie?' She has a name, El," Olivia defended.
"Yeah, Ashley or something."
Olivia sighed. "Alexandra. Her name is Alexandra."
"Don't listen to him. Tell me about this Alexandra!" Kathy grabbed Olivia's hands as Elliot brought the now hot waffles back to the table.
"Well, just like Elliot said. I accidentally kicked the ball too hard and it hit her in the face. But, when I went to check on her… I don't know, Kathy. The look we shared. It was… different. I told her I was gay, she told me she was too. And I just can't stop thinking about her. She's seriously so cute." Olivia was smiling.
"Yeah, and she's tall," Elliot added. "She likes that."
"Taller than you, Liv?" Kathy asked.
Olivia stood at 5 foot 8, but Alex was easily 5 foot 10, maybe 5 foot 11. Kathy, however, was only 5 foot 3.
"Yeah, but not by much. Only a couple inches. And her glasses…" Olivia threw her head back and growled. "Those damn glasses."
Kathy chuckled. "Aww, Liv! I'm so excited for you! Does she like you?"
Olivia smirked as she poked at her bacon. "Yeah. I guess you could say that."
Elliot studied her intently as he chomped on a waffle. "Oh, really? Does this have to do with your late night? Did you do her?"
"Jesus, El!" Kathy slapped his arm.
Olivia scoffed. "No, El… I didn't 'do her.' She's not just a piece of meat."
"Sorry, sorry. But, something definitely happened, right?"
"Yeah…" Olivia blushed as she finally ate her bacon.
"Well," Elliot continued, grabbing another waffle. "Come on Liv, give us the scoop."
"We sorta… sexted last night."
Kathy gasped, smiling with her mouth open. "Really?"
"Really?" Elliot repeated. "Go get 'em, tiger."
"Shut up, El," Olivia laughed. "I hope she's okay."
"Why wouldn't she be? You're Olivia freakin' Benson. Best person I know. Well, besides Kathy." He leaned over to give her a kiss.
"Yeah, you're great, Liv," Kathy agreed.
"Well… she told me she's never really done that before. So, I hope last night wasn't too much for her. I don't wanna freak her out. But God, I was just so… horny." She laughed and laid her head down on the table after the admission.
"Ahh," Elliot droned. "So you started it."
"Kinda. But I guess she was already… in the mood? I don't know. I met up with her in the study hall by accident, and I totally flirted and teased her. She was blushing so bad, and it was the cutest thing. I couldn't stop thinking about kissing her." Olivia smiled as she thought about a blushing Alex, fanning her face and fixing her glasses.
Just then, Olivia's phone lit up on the counter.
"That her?" Kathy asked.
Olivia let out a puff of air. "Yup. I'm nervous." She opened the message to a picture of the Red Bull can and Alex's text.
Alex: Morning, Olivia. Thanks for this, btw. I didn't get much sleep last night, so I'm hoping this comes in handy (;
Olivia had a big smile form across her face as she bit her lip.
Olivia: Good morning, miss Alex (: why didn't you get much sleep last night? Truth is, I didn't either (; glad I could persuade you to drink a Red Bull. Trust me, you'll feel better.
"Good news, I take it?" Kathy asked.
"Yeah," Olivia smiled. "She's being flirty, so that's a good sign."
"Lemme see what you talked about last night," Elliot said, trying to grab Olivia's phone.
"No way, pervert. But Kathy can read if she wants." Olivia handed the phone to Kathy, making Elliot groan.
"Aww, come on!"
Kathy took a few moments to read their messages, giving gasps and giggles as she read. "Wow, Olivia… what a sly dog you are. You think she was telling the truth? About not… you know."
"I think so," Olivia said. "I don't think she'd lie about it. That's why I'm so nervous, though. I don't wanna make her uncomfortable."
"Well," Kathy laughed, handing Olivia her phone. "I don't think she's uncomfortable at all."
Elliot lifted his eyebrows. "Can I please know?"
"No," Olivia and Kathy said in unison.
Elliot groaned.
"So," Kathy said, changing the subject. "What's the plan for this party for El's birthday?"
"Big house party! Music, alcohol, little bit of weed. We'll bring the guys over, plus their girls. Liv, make sure you invite Blondie. You can have her bring her friend, too. Just make sure she stays off of me, or Kathy will kill her." Elliot wrapped his arms around Kathy and kissed her cheek.
"Sounds good, El. Who's getting the weed?" Olivia asked.
"Tim. He's got the hookup. Johnny can grab us a couple of kegs. I figure me and you can hit the LS and grab some beer and liquor."
"Hell yeah, I'm in! We got enough money?" Olivia asked.
"Yup. Dad sent me like $1,000 to celebrate. Figure we can get pretty stocked up," Elliot responded.
"You know," Kathy said. "Aren't you two in criminal justice? You know weed is illegal, right?"
"Yeah, but we're in college. This is all about having fun and acting wild for a bit. No harm in it, babe." Elliot kissed Kathy. "Plus, weed is good for the sex drive." He waggled his eyebrows.
Kathy playfully hit Elliot's arm. "We don't need any help with that, El." She looked over at Olivia and smirked. "Neither does Liv, apparently."
Olivia blushed as she smiled. "Alright, I gotta get ready for class. Catch you guys later."
As soon as class was over, Alex and Casey made their way outside to head to the sandwich shop. Alex was feeling a little hyper due to the caffeine coursing through her body. "Oh man, I'm so hungry. I think I'm gonna get 2 sandwiches. Oh, and I'm probably gonna do my homework at the restaurant and get it out of the way before our next class." She was talking a mile a minute.
"You good, Lex? That Red Bull is really getting to you, huh?" Casey laughed as she grabbed the can and took the final drink. "Wow. You're right, that's not bad."
"Yeah, I'm great, Casey! Oh my God, you think Olivia texted me back yet? I'm so nervous. What if she feels weird after last night?"
"Well, instead of babbling about it, just check your phone, dummy," Casey laughed.
"Hey, wait up!" Alex and Casey turned to see Charlie and Trevor running up to meet up with them. "Where are you beautiful ladies headed?" Charlie asked.
"Sandwich shop on the North side. They have the best sandwiches," Casey said. "You boys wanna join?"
Trevor and Charlie looked at each other and nodded. "We're in, if you don't mind the company." Trevor made his way next to Casey, and Charlie stood on the other side of Alex.
"What's up, Alex?" Charlie asked.
"Hey Charlie. Not much." Alex was busy reading Olivia's text.
Olivia: Good morning, miss Alex (: why didn't you get much sleep last night? Truth is, I didn't either (; glad I could persuade you to drink a Red Bull. Trust me, you'll feel better.
Alex: How about you use that criminal justice brain of yours and imagine why I didn't get much sleep. (; Sorry you didn't get much sleep, though. You're right. The Red Bull kept me awake for class. Thanks again for it (:
"You got any plans this weekend?" Charlie asked.
"Uhh, I'm not sure honestly. Probably studying. I've got an Economics test coming up soon, and I need to study for it." Alex was hoping he wouldn't ask her out.
"Oh, okay. No worries." Alex was thankful he didn't push her further. She felt her phone go off in her pocket.
Olivia: Wow. Well, I'm sure you didn't get much sleep for the same reason I didn't. I was uhh… occupied (; glad the Red Bull was put to good use. I'll make sure to bring you another one next time I see you.
Alex: As was I (; and you don't need to do that! When do you wanna get together next?
Olivia: How about this weekend? We can study together? I have a test coming up soon for Criminology. We can drink Red Bulls and complain about studying (:
Alex: Sounds like a plan, Liv! Study hall again?
Olivia: Sure! Or, maybe your dorm?
Alex: That works too (: we can decide later.
Olivia: Great! Well hey, I've got class. Text me later?
Alex: Of course. Have a nice class (:
