Chapter 21

Visit from Mom and Dad

Alex and Casey sat at their desks finishing getting ready as Alex's phone began to ring. She quickly ran over to the bed and slid her thumb over the screen to answer.

"Hey, Mom!" Alex said.

"Hi, my sweet girl! We're about to pull up to your dorm. We'll be about 3 minutes. Are you girls ready?"

"Yup, we will be down there and waiting. We can't wait to see you guys!"

"And we can't wait to see you! Love you honey, chat in a few minutes."

Alex hung up the phone and slid it into her pocket before turning over to Casey, who still looked a bit like death warmed over.

"Case. You gonna be okay?" Alex asked, placing her hand on Casey's shoulder.

Casey sighed before she answered. "Yeah, I will be. I'm just so tired from yesterday. And I still feel like crap."

"Me too. It was so much fun though, wasn't it?" Alex was beaming with excitement, still on her high from all of the events that took place at the party.

"It was honestly the best. I would so do it again, one hundred percent." Casey grabbed her phone and opened the door for her and Alex to make their way to the elevator.

"So… I've gotta ask." Casey looked up at Alex with a smirk.

Alex raised her eyebrow in wait of a response.

"How far did you and Olivia get last night?"

"Uhh. Not far at all, honestly. Everyone barging into her room kinda killed the mood." Alex, although disappointed, could also feel a slight sense of relief. She remembered Olivia's offer right before Elliot had knocked on the door; there wouldn't have been anything that stopped her from having Olivia take her bra off.

"Oh God, I did that too, didn't I? Wait, don't answer. Yup. That's when I complimented your girlfriend's tits." Casey looked up at Alex as they both immediately started laughing. "Seriously though, Alex. She's stacked."

Alex wore a proud grin as she folded her arms, leaning against the elevator wall. "I know." She gave a growl afterwards that made Casey bust out into laughter again.

The elevator soon reached the ground floor as Alex and Casey made their way outside, the family Escalade almost to the dorm. They watched as their parents pulled up, waving to them as they honked the horn.

No sooner was the car in park when Mrs. Cabot and Mrs. Novak came flying out of the car to grab, kiss, and hug their daughters, happy tears streaming down their faces.

"There's my baby girl!" William Cabot boomed, opening his arms to hug his daughter.

"Hey daddy! I missed you!" Alex squeezed her father tightly, grinning from ear to ear. She didn't realize until this moment, just how much she truly missed her parents.

"Alex!" Ronald Novak greeted with his arms wide open. "Come give me a hug!"

"Hey Mr. Novak!" Alex greeted, giving him a big hug as Casey gave one to Alex's dad. Both of them loved how much their families really were meshed into one giant family. Both Alex and Casey always considered each other's parents their parents, too.

"How are you girls liking Columbia?" Ronald asked with a smile, hands in his pockets.

"Ronnie, we can talk to them during dinner. We need to get over to Per Se." Mrs. Novak shuttled Mr. Novak back into the car as Casey and Alex climbed in the back of the Escalade.

Alex felt her phone vibrate and pulled it out of her pocket.

Olivia: I hope you have fun with your fam today, Alex (: I miss u

Alex: Thanks Liv (: I miss u too. So much. I still would like to be in bed with u watching movies ):

Olivia: We'll have plenty of time for that. Enjoy your family cutie.

Alex smiled as she began to put her phone back in her pocket before feeling it vibrate one more time.

Olivia: Remember – ur still in trouble (;

Alex gave a chuckle to herself as she slipped the phone back into her pocket.

"What is it, dear?" Mrs. Cabot asked her daughter.

"Oh, nothing Mom. Just a funny joke from a friend."

Casey immediately smiled at Alex and lightly knocked her hand against her leg, silently admitting to Alex that she knew it was Olivia.

"Really? Is this friend a boy?" She had a curious smile on her face – William Cabot immediately turned around.

Alex sighed. "No, Mother. It's not."

"Could've fooled me with a smile like that. But, if you insist."

Shit…

Alex couldn't help but immediately blush, nervous about what to say next. Thankfully, Casey stepped in on her behalf.

"I met a boy already," Casey blurted out.

"What!" Ronald Novak said.

"What's his name?" Mrs. Novak asked, turning around to look at Casey.

"His name is Trevor! He's super tall, and he's in our Political Science class. He's also a pre-law major. Oh! And he's super polite, too." Casey couldn't help but smile as she talked about Trevor. She truly did like him.

"Well, what do you think of him, Alex?" Mr. Novak asked. "I know you'll give me the truth."

"Trevor is really nice. He and Casey seem to be getting along well. I think they'd be cute together." Alex smiled at Casey, who knew Alex was being genuine.

The rest of the ride was rather quiet – most of the conversation came from Casey and Alex's parents talking about what has been happening down home; who is with who, who divorced, who's expecting a child, what their former classmates are doing, etc.

The families had pulled into a parking space close to Per Se and were making their way down to the restaurant as Alex felt her phone vibrate again. Carefully checking that her parents weren't paying attention, she grabbed it out.

Olivia: Hi cutie, just checking in (: hope you're having fun! I'm thinking about having a little fun of my own… too bad u aren't here (;

Alex's eyes unintentionally grew wider as she snuck a quick glance to see if anyone was paying attention.

Alex: So far so good. About to grab food now. And oh, are you? What kinda fun? (; It is a shame I'm not there… I'd give anything to be.

Alex, Casey, and their families made it inside the restaurant as they waited to be seated.

Olivia: I bet u would (; and oh, u know. Nothin crazy. Just playing with myself while I think of u (;

Alex had to immediately lock her phone, afraid someone would've seen the message. She carefully stood behind her father as she texted back, worried about blush creeping through her skin.

Alex: Olivia… I am with my PARENTS right now.

Olivia: And I told you that you were in trouble for teasing me. Now I'm gonna tease you (;

Alex locked her phone and put it back in her pocket, biting the inside of her cheek so she couldn't smile. Looking next to her, she caught Casey's gaze.

"What's up?" Casey whispered.

"Olivia is being filthy," Alex whispered back, unable to control the slight smile forming at her mouth.

"They really had to visit today, huh?" Casey whispered back, shaking her head. "I still feel like crap."

"What're you two being secretive about?" Ronald Novak asked, standing next to Alex and Casey before bending lower to whisper. "Are we talking about boys?"

Casey playfully pushed her dad's shoulder. "Dad! No. And even if we were, we wouldn't tell you."

"Reservation for Cabot and Novak?" The host asked.

The family nodded and followed them to a giant table in the back of the fancy restaurant. Everyone sat down, looking over the menu as Alex felt her phone vibrate again. She carefully looked around before pulling it out and reading the new message under the table.

Olivia: Don't think that I'll stop just cuz you ignore me, Alex. (;

Alex: ur so mean lol

Olivia: hey, u left me pretty wet from ur little stunt in the car. I can't just ignore it, can I? (;

Alex immediately shot her eyes up to look around the table as she locked her phone, swallowing hard due to the arousal she felt at Olivia's words.

Oh my God, she can't be doing this right now…

"So, is everyone ready to order?" William Cabot asked.

Everyone looked around at one another and nodded as they sat the menus down, the waiter quickly coming to take everyone's orders. After Alex gave hers, she quickly looked down at her phone, feeling it vibrate again.

Olivia: so, what are u eating today? I wish it was me (;

Alex closed her eyes momentarily as she tried to steady her breathing; Casey looked over at her, noticing how uneasy she appeared to be. Casey carefully got out her phone to text Alex.

Casey: What is Olivia saying to you?! You've gotta stop reading the texts, Alex. Our parents are gonna be able to tell something's up. You look like you're about to panic lol.

Alex: ugh. But I want to read them lol.

Casey: Not if you can't control your horniness!!! I can see it in your face, Lex lol.

Alex quickly brought her messages with Olivia back up, smirking as she texted back.

Alex: Olivia Margaret Benson… you cannot do this to me at dinner with my parents.

"And they say there are no boys!" Ronald Novak said with a curious smile, gesturing at Casey and Alex who were clearly on their phones under the table.

"Dad! We are texting each other," Casey defended.

"But you're in the same room," Mrs. Cabot pointed out, eyeing Alex's expression carefully. She noticed the way her daughter's skin was slightly flushed, and the small smile on her face.

"I know," Alex said, obviously stumbling over her words. "It's just a… well we were…"

Casey immediately sighed. They were doomed, thanks to Alex.

"Ah, talking about boys. I see." Mr. Novak shook his head and laughed as he drank some of his wine. "So, tell me all about college!"

Casey and Alex sat talking to their parents about their classes, friends, tests, grades, and basically everything since they started. Well… except for the party. They wanted to leave that out completely.

As Casey was telling them about her Political Science project, Alex felt her phone go off again. The notification said "Picture" in the header. Alex immediately felt some nerves wash over her; she eyed the table carefully before unlocking her phone.

The sight made her suck in a breath as her mouth threatened to drop open; eyes wide and her heart beating faster, all moisture in her body suddenly moving to her center.

Olivia was on her knees in front of her mirror, wearing nothing but the shorts from the night previous and the same bra that Alex was 2 seconds from ripping off of her. She was leaning slightly to the side with a hand across her abdomen, carefully looking at the camera lens through the mirror with a smirk.

Olivia: Just so u know what ur missing (;

Alex: holy shit… Liv… please

Alex shoved her phone back in her pocket and returned her attention to the conversation, carefully tapping her foot to try and quell the swimming arousal inside of her.

Thankfully, Alex got a break as it was now her turn to tell them about her projects and grades. Alex happily boasted about receiving an A on every assignment so far – even Economics, which she decided she hated. She made no attempts to voice her disdain for the subject.

Soon, the food arrived at the table and everyone began to eat as Alex felt her phone go off again. Looking at the notification, it was another picture. She carefully unlocked her phone and nearly dropped her phone at the new sight in front of her.

Olivia was obviously laying in her bed. The shot was an upside-down view of Olivia's abdomen atop the sheets of her bed; her tattoo and navel ring showing. But it wasn't this that got Alex's attention, no. It was that Olivia was now down to her underwear, with her hand tucked halfway in the front, hand obviously resting atop her mound.

Olivia: really wish u were here with me, Alex (;

Alex accidentally dropped her fork against the plate as she was staring at the photo, which in turn made her drop her phone on the ground. Alex immediately turned red and buried her face in her hands as everyone turned to look at her.

"Sorry," Alex said, struggling to maintain her breathing. "Lost my grip."

Casey bent under the table to grab Alex's phone – both to save her from having to do it, or her mom offering. Also, Casey was nosy. She wanted to know what Olivia said. When she turned the phone, however, her eyes went wide and her mouth dropped as she stared at the picture of Olivia's underwear, hand inside.

Holy shit, Alex… no wonder you turned to jelly.

Casey slid the phone between Alex's legs before sitting back up in her chair.

Mrs. Cabot's eyes carefully surveyed her daughter, who was still blushing. "Are you sure you're alright, dear?"

"Yes, Mom, I promise. I dropped my fork and got really embarrassed. It's okay." Alex was pleading for her mother to believe her.

Mrs. Cabot nodded and returned to the conversation. After several minutes, Alex pulled out her phone to sneak a text back to Olivia.

Alex: Now YOU'RE in trouble… just made a fool of myself in front of my parents because of what u sent me!!!!

Olivia: Hehehehe what happened?

Alex: I dropped my fork, which rang against the plate, and then dropped my phone on the floor… which of course, made me turn red in my usual fashion… not to mention, there's a torrential downpour in my underwear…which is a very odd thing to have happen with my PARENTS across the table …. Olivia …

Olivia's next response was a slew of emojis – the laughing crying face, the crazy face, the sweating face, the thumbs up. She also sent another text immediately after.

Olivia: In all seriousness, I'm sorry, Alex. Especially if you really got embarrassed. That wasn't my intention – I only wanted to tease you :p

Alex couldn't help but smile and shake her head. She would pay Olivia back later for this. And, she knew exactly what to do.
