(Overall explanations of the new things I created and some added features to the Dragon Valley)

The Ascalon sword was a sword meant to kill monsters with unimaginable durability. It also used energy from anything, and as seen in chapter 3, even arcanum. When the Ascalon sword is wielded by a god of evil, it turns into a sword of pure destruction. It can summon slashes that split entire mountains and can tame monsters with its aura. It's the most powerful sword in the lower world, and a god of evil now wields it.

Argonaut's armor is the most durable armor created. It was created by a legendary blacksmith and it was blessed with the magic of a great spirit. It survived through time because of this and was only discovered by another hero who died soon after in Laikros's ruins. The armor was meant to protect the wearer from the Black Dragon.

Zeus's sword training was the most powerful technique given to a human. Zeus learned a lot of swordsmanship through his boredom and had learnt to use the sword in every way possible. Every combo, every sword type, every concept and technique. Zeus learned them all and put it into his own sword technique which was befitting of a god of gods.

Bell Cranel was one of the 3 people in history to have learned this sword technique. It allowed the disciple to defeat any enemy even if they wielded a different weapon. Bell didn't master the technique, but having slight knowledge of it would lead to a mastery according to the gods. The technique was simply too advanced and powerful that a newbie would classify as a sword master to everyone else.

The Dragon Valley was the most powerful region in the world. It had Dragons ranked up to level 8 and the minimum strength of one was level 4. The Black Dragon created it after fleeing the dungeon with his fellow dragons. It is said that a god had reached the bottom of the dungeon and angered it in the process. The Black Dragon soon emerged in order to kill that god, and nothing else is known. This is probably why the gods don't use arcanum anymore because the dungeon would easily obliterate the lower world if it wished to. The only problem is that the constant flow of adventurers pushes the dungeon to it's limit and is probably going to burst in a couple years.

The Country of Death is a region in which nothing has been recorded about. It is said that this region formed from a rich country that held many cities. It ended up like this due to the Black Dragon which obliterated everything. There hasn't been much information about it since.

Bell's rapid successions of level ups had left everyone in a state of confusion and anger. It didn't take a year and that young hero had leveled up 4 times compared to the previous record of taking 1 year to level up. Luckily for them, Bell lost the very sword which allowed him to do this, and would now take even longer to level up.

The denatus soon happened after a while and had put Bell's alias as, "Foolish Rabbit," for the same reason Loki asked for it. The most powerful Familias always got there way seeing that nobody exactly wanted a war game with them. This is why Zeus was able to name Maxim the "Emperor".

This was normal news for the current time. Loki Familia coming back with many casualties and injuries left the adventurers with fear on what else could be down there. The colosseum was back to normal and Evilus hadn't done much as it seems. Overall, it was a peaceful time after what happened with the god of doom.

"Bell, what are you going to do now without that sword? It seemed to be way more powerful than you said, and now you don't even have it." asked Finn, trying to figure out the plans of the god of doom.

"That sword wasn't my entire purpose, Finn. It was a sword given to me by my grandpa, and I still don't know why. All I can really do is become stronger to fight that god again."

"That is the most basic thing you could've said. Strength doesn't even matter anymore if were dealing with a god who wields a sword capable of cutting us up in one swing. I just don't see us winning here."

"Your right, but how can we just let the world plunge into chaos? It makes everything we've done up to this point pointless if we can't even stop that god from creating doom." argued Bell, also feeling quite hopeless of the situation.

"Your so wise yet so foolish. I'll try and figure stuff out, but right now take in the peace while it lasts."

Moros was simply too powerful with the Ascalon sword. It could cut everything up without much trouble and no material could even survive it. To make it even worse, the god has a plan to tame the Black Dragon. If only some great power rose up and challenged the impossible. Oh wait, I forgot, Bell was the main character.

Fearing death and fearing failure is normal. The only way to conquer your fear is through living life ending situations and being successful. In truth, a person with a brain was never meant to conquer such a fear. They will always fear death and failure no matter what they go through. Fear is an emotion that is needed in order to make the person not die foolishly. Heroes throw it out the window once they've seen death and failure in its eyes.

Bell never saw death in its eyes. He experienced failure, but never death itself. If he didn't conquer his fear of death, than how will he conquer everything else? If I can't conquer myself, what chance do I have for conquering the world?

"Hah, I fucking love this pain. I don't fear death! What are you talking about!" said Bell, panting.

He was on floor 37, the colosseum. He had lost his mind in what he believes is his fear of death. He feared powerful monsters. He feared his weakness. He feared becoming a hero.

"What's the point. I've lost my own mind and yet I still desire to become a hero. What's the fucking point!" he said, speaking to himself

"Why can't we live in peace? Why can't I just live without the fear of death? Why am I so damn lonely?!"

The young hero was at his limit. He had lost his only family and only had the Loki Familia to keep his insanity chained. His life was ruined by the Black Dragon. He had a sense of hope, but after seeing its power, he couldn't help but wonder just how weak he is compared to it.

"I don't want to die. I don't want to be alone again."

The boy sat down on the many stairs of the colosseum. He started to look at the monsters within it. He saw there evil, there bloodlust, there power. His will to fight that type of evil was loud yet quiet. His determination to become a hero wavered at the sight of impossibility. He only acted like an idiot to ignore the truth. He can't keep lying to himself anymore.

"I'm such a fool. I thought I could become a hero with pure will and determination. That fucking dragon ruined my own life."

"I must become stronger. I must become a hero!" declared Bell, getting his mind back together.

The fact of the matter is, Bell had never experienced happiness since his grandpa's death. The hero books and training brought him more joy than anything else. He wouldn't do this for the sake of the world anymore, but rather for the happiness and peace of everyone at the cost of his own. A hero who went insane for the sake of peace and happiness. A hero who lost everything in order to kill the impossible.

In the center of the floor stood an aspiring hero and a monster rex which faces the young hero. He was on the ground, kneeling, with a black spike imbedded in his chest. Bell was fighting a level 6 monster rex because of his foolish dreams of becoming a hero.

"Hah. The only weapon I used for cases like this is gone. I really am nothing without it." spoke Bell to himself.

He coughed up some blood as he stared into the glowing eyes of the monster rex.

"Fuck it, I want to become a hero, and death may as well only answer when I want it to."

The young hero soon walked towards the monster rex with the black spike still in his chest. The monster rex swung it's huge black sword against him. In turn, Bell blocked the attack with his own. The pressure was so intense that Bell collapsed under it. He still got back up and continued walking onwards as his chest bled out.

"I'm not done you bastard. Your going to die even if it means being 2 levels below you."

Spartoi soon approached the young hero and stabbed him in the legs and waist. He was on the verge of death and finally witnessed its wrath. His eyes closed as everything turned dark, but his body didn't give up. His will and determination powered through and told his body its not over. It's not over until I win.

With many fatal wounds and injuries, Bell slayed the Spartoi with a simply swing and proceeded onwards. His swordsmanship was far superior than theres and they could never defend his advanced attacks. Udaeus soon sent another attack of spikes which Bell attempted to dodge with all his injuries.

"Heh, that's about how far I can go right? The point of death where i'm not even sure about it."

Another spike had hit him in the waist. The other armor he wore had been destroyed when first fighting the monster rex.

Death

"Agh! I lost connection with Bell! Where the fuck is he! He just vanished out of nowhere! Don't tell me he died!" yelled out Loki, having felt Bell's losing connection to her blessing.

Loki ordered most of the familia to search for him. She explained that his skill was the only thing keeping him from truly dying and that they had to go now before he does die.

When the search party entered the dungeon, a loud explosion was heard from the deep floors and the dungeon seemed to scream in agony and anger. A human had defied its fate, and the dungeon was not happy.

Udaeus was brought witness to a revival. The young hero before it glowed in green as every wound and every spike within his body was vanished. A white light soon covered the boy and was left with a golden aura.

"Death, The only thing I fear. I guess it's time to do the impossible again."

With the added bonus of a level up and additional stats, Bell ran towards the monster rex as his other skill charged up an attack. All three skills had activated all at once and Bell wasn't about to simply die with everything activated.

"Fuck you!"

Bell swung his sword with unbelievable amounts of force and released the charge he used in a short amount of time. It caused the sound barrier to be broken and the clash created an explosion upon impact.

The monster had survived the attack, but was left with a massive amount of damage in it's chest and shoulders. It couldn't move its arms, but it sure as hell could spawn in spikes and Spartoi. These desperate attacks were easily avoided though as Bell simply had the power of a level 5 now and was about to surpass the point of a level 6.

"I fucking love the impossible! Death is just as satisfying as this!" the young hero exclaimed, charging at the monster again.

Bell once again reached his limit and was slowly losing his temporary level up. His stat increase did go up in return. Udaeus could only watch on as it got obliterated by a young man who was revived.

The loud explosion soon turned to silence as the Loki Familia reached floor 28. The dungeon could be heard weeping in a way and the deeper they went, the more it could be heard.

"What the hell happened down there?" said Bete.

"Udaeus probably spawned and someone is fighting it. If I'm correct, it might be Bell." answered Finn, already knowing the possible situation.

The Familia soon reached floor 37 where they saw the colosseum suddenly activate some sort of new system. It glowed and soon spawned in a black Udaeus which went back into the middle of the floor. They soon gave chase to the black Udaeus and saw Bell sitting against the wall where his hands were atop its handle.

"Are you alright?" asked Tiona.

"I saw death. It was beautiful yet so scary." he simply replied.

"What do you mean death?"

"The darkness of death, Tiona. I died and I'm only alive because of my skill. I wanted to become a hero after all." he answered, smiling for some reason.

"Yeah . . . Well, we gotta get you outta here before that black Udaeus comes to kill us." said Tiona, picking up Bell and running off with the rest of the Familia.

The black Udaeus seemed to be looking for something and was surprisingly very fast. It summoned other Spartoi that seemed to have voided weapons. The Familia didn't exactly want to deal with it, so they left just as soon as they found Bell.

"What the hell was he even doing here? He's a level 4 against a level 6. It's a miracle he's even alive." questioned Finn, like always.

"We'll ask him later, we just need to bring him back to Loki so he can explain himself for the 100th time."

Insanity is the term used when doing something over and over. Bell had went insane overtime because of his constant fear of death. This added on with being alone had put him in a state of confusion and agony. He wasn't doing mentally well, but his dreams forced him to become well.

With death, Bell felt complete. He felt, different. He felt like a hero for once in his life and enjoyed every moment of it. He killed the impossible again, but he went through death itself to accomplish that.

"Why did you go down there you idiot?" Loki asked, as Bell finally woke up after 3 days.

"I wasn't doing well." he responded.

"That doesn't explain you almost dying." she retorted.

"My fear of death had been conquered. I killed Udaeus at the cost of my life." revealed Bell.

"Your as idiotic as ever. Have you ever thought about your goddess? Or even your Familia for that matter?"

"No. I only thought about becoming a hero. I was hopeless and so I decided to go into the dungeon to figure out a way to get myself back together."

Loki was obviously worried yet mad. Bell had went into the dungeon as a means to escape reality, but in truth, he was facing it. Loki doesn't know him at a personal level, but she has reason to believe Bell had some problems with his mental health.

"What is it that you fear." she suddenly asked, catching Bell off guard.

"Loneliness and failure to bring happiness and peace."

"You have us, so why do you fear being alone?" she wondered.

"Because I was only happy when my grandpa told me hero stories and trained me. I was never happy when talking to others. I was a broken man." he explained.

Loki couldn't do much to help the boy out. He was simply traumatized and couldn't come to terms with it. The PTSD of a great monster and the loneliness of his journey had influenced his mind. An aspiring hero who lost everything and yet still chose to remain one through all this hell.

A man with such strength that even his own mind couldn't stop him. A hero who simply never gave up.

"Moros! The Black Dragon seems to be heading towards Orario!"

"Fuck, it's not allowing me to approach it. The dungeon seems to be at its limit now. Theres no reason for why it's heading towards Orario."

"The Dragons from the Dragon Valley also seem to be headed towards Orario!"

"The dungeon has broken." declared Moros.

The god of doom hadn't expected the dungeon to actually break in this time period. Ouranos was meant to have it hold back until the Black Dragon was killed, but it seems something angered it beyond belief.

"Everyone! We shall take witness to the doom of the world! The dungeon has finally begun its quest for revenge!"

"Hermes, the Black Dragon and several other monsters are approaching the city. We need to evacuate now!" said Asfi, informing the god of the news.

"The dungeon seems to have had enough. An age of chaos is about to happen, I wonder how the great hero will deal with this."

Orario had been put into an uproar as many monsters entered the city only to go back into the dungeon. The Black Dragon obliterated everything in its path when entering back in, but the Babel tower proved to not let it enter. In retaliation, the Black Dragon destroyed the tower and soon entered the dungeon with the rest of the dragons and monsters.

"Loki! The Black Dragon destroyed the Babel tower and it seems to have entered the dungeon!" reported Finn.

"Your joking right? The dungeon was meant to have been closed for at least another 20 years."

"This isn't a joke Loki. The dungeon seems to be preparing something big and we need to evacuate before it happens."

Monsters from across the continent moved into Orario from all angles as the world was put into chaos. The dungeon had brought all the monsters of the world back into it and seemed to be preparing for something. Orario was about to be at the blunt of the attack and the world would soon be plunged into chaos.

"Citizens of Orario! We ask that you evacuate the city immediately! The dungeon has opened itself up and many monsters are currently entering it!" voiced out a loud speaker which informed everyone of the massive event that is about to happen.

The city soon was emptied out in a panicked manner as the dungeon seemed to have been filled with monsters once again. Suddenly, a beam of pure darkness shot up into the air which killed all near it. Monsters soon emerged out covered in darkness.

The city was falling, and the world would soon follow. Every familia fled with ease but the unfortunate souls of those that are unblessed couldn't escape fast enough. The monsters were estimated to be numbered at the hundreds of thousands and it wasn't stopping. Many gods were sent back to heaven due to this and so chaos soon begun.

The world had been plunged into death. The dungeon had a constant flow of monsters that were estimated to be level 3 and above. The strongest recorded monster according to Hermes was a level 12. The previous familia's of the city had been forced into hiding or joining other countries which had learnt of the news. The Loki Familia was currently at the Dragon Valley where Bell showed them the way.

"Fuck man! I still can't believe the dungeon just suddenly opened up and spawned in those abominations." cursed out Bete.

"We can only hide and roam far away as we somehow get back control of the dungeon." explained Finn.

"Finn, you cannot even bother finding a way to take back control. We must accept our fates and walk onwards with the truth of the city being gone and us being able to do anything about it." said Riveria.

"Can you guys shut up for a minute? We have some company up in the path ahead, so protect our goddess." interrupted Bell, having had enough of the Familia's antics.

It's been over a year since than. The familia of 100 had traveled into this unknown region with Bell because he knew the way out. He was also conditioned here and was therefore trusted in traversing the region. The Familia had lost countless of there members in the chaos, but many leveled up when fighting against the monsters. The top executives were level 7 with Ais. Many of the members turned to level 5 and 6 after a battle with a level 8 dragon within the dragon valley.

"Alright, we're finally at the end point of the Dragon Valley. Up ahead should be Laikros' ruins and the Jungle Frontier." said Bell, as the Familia finally escaped the region.

They were headed towards the city said to be fortified by former adventurers of Orario. Freya, Ganesha, and Aphrodite are some of the gods that reside there. It's called the 'Last City' or Jeeta to be exact. It was formed after Hermes and his Familia found a rather peaceful place and decided to create a city there. Many Familia's soon joined and that's how the city was formed.

"Bell, do you know where Laikros' ruins are located? I want to see it before we can't anymore." asked Tiona, wanting to visit the site in honor of Argonaut.

"We're already heading towards there." he nonchalantly replied.

The ruins were soon revealed as Bell remembered the place. It was burned into darkness, but it was beautiful. It was paradise in the ages before this, but said paradise is no more.

"Ooo, a blue gem." said Tiona.

"Take a look at this, Gareth. It's a golden hammer."

"Isn't that a wand?" asked Lefiya.

There were many weapons, but they seemed to be beaten up rather than in good condition. Bell soon spotted a broken statue with words on it.

Argonaut: The clown, the Fool, the Hero of the Beginning.

May Foolish Dreams come true.

"Interesting." thought Bell.

The journey to the last city was uneventful. The only special thing that the Familia saw was the Black Dragon. It had a powerful aura and was undeniably stronger than any being ever in the lower world. The age of chaos has begun, and only a hero could turn it into an age of peace.

Author's Note:

I really got bored of the main story as you can tell. I literally plunged the world into an age of chaos because it felt far more interesting than just having events happen in Orario. The dungeon only did this because Bell was the final straw. An adventurer being revived within the dungeon is impossible, but this human did so. Ouranos couldn't control it anymore after that and so the dungeon soon rampaged the city of Orario and spread across the continent.

The monsters are very powerful now, but with Jeeta, it's similar to Destiny 2 and it's last city. The adventurers are undoubtedly strong, but they now have to coexist with monsters being on the surface rather than in the dungeon.

Moros will still pop up here and there, but his main goal is gone seeing that the Black Dragon is fully healed and is at its peak.

I'm going to start developing the character's emotions and probably actually develop some relationships. I just needed a clear idea on what I want to make the universe about, and I finally found it.

Thanks for reading!
