I Own You
Now obviously you guys and girls are probably getting so keen to see what RDJ will feel like when he is a little older eh? Well fear not my friends! We are now going to head right into the next chapter, where RDJ will be attending the funeral of his late mother…who had sadly passed away when she drowned in the sea. But I'm not going to spoil the chapter for you, so let's stop yapping, and start flapping! Let's get right to it!
A Few Weeks After The Drowning At The Beach…
Weeks had slowly drifted by…like the passing sea of clouds that turn an ordinary clear day into a cloudy miserable one.
Many of the passing locals were handing out candles and flowers to take to the church…as today was the day that many have gathered to grieve for the passing of Amber.
But the majority of them who didn't know Amber personally, had to wait in crowds on the outside of the church grounds. Allowing those closest to her, like friends, family, acquaintances and loved ones to actually be in the funeral.
RDJ and Jacqueline were sat in the front row of the church yard, wearing all black. Whilst Jacqueline held onto her friend's wing in comfort. As they slowly watched a coffin that must have been Amber's, slowly descend into the grave.
RDJ felt so broken, and so lost after losing the one person that brought him so itch joy in his life. That now he didn't even feel like he was himself anymore. And he barely could take his eyes off of the coffin.
"Haaaa…This is all my fault! I shouldn't have asked her to help me compete in some…STUPID tournament! My mom died because of me!" RDJ sadly mumbled, trying ever so hard not to let his tears stain his shirt. "Why didn't I just…stay out of the way?!"
"Hey…you can't blame yourself RDJ! You mustn't blame yourself for this. How could you have predicted this?" Jacqueline sadly whimpered, rubbing his back in a friendly manner.
"I just…I…I just wanted to finally beat Fred at something that I loved! And then maybe he would show me just the smallest bit of respect. But now…I don't even know if I love the sport anymore Jacqui…" He looked up to gaze at her with really watery eyes. This made Jacqui's heart ache, seeing the amount of pain in his eyes.
"Don't say that! Please don't you dare say that! You can't just give up what your mom spent her whole life doing? What do you think she'd say?" The blue female was adamant not to let her friend feel down about himself. So she thought of somebody that might be able to cheer him up. "You wait right here! There are two of these guys I met last week, and they wanted to meet you!"
The blue female quickly dispersed to bring her two friends over, who were currently inside the church talking to the pastor (Priest).
RDJ took one final glance into the huge dark hole in the ground…where his mother will be put to rest for all eternity.
"Sniff…I'm sorry mom…I'm sorry!" He cried with a lot of emotion, as he picked up a few roses from the pile that were next to him. Then he threw them into the grave, before the gravedigger came to throw the soil on top of the coffin to bury it.
Everyone that had attended this funeral instantly separated and proceeded to head home to get ready for the after party in the evening hall. That RDJ, Jacqueline, Melissa and Keira chipped in for. Since Fred and Leandro were too selfish to pay for one.
For that matter, Leandro wasn't even attending the funeral! The older blue and gold macaw male was currently with his secretary Hannah. Travelling the world and staying as far away from Brazil as possible.
Fred was about to take off and drive back to his house to get ready for the party…but just before he got into his car. He saw that his little brother was still there…staring at the half covered grave. With a face that was covered in tears…and a huge amount of pain in his heart.
The hybrid macaw narrowed his eyes towards him in a sly and sadistic manner. Before closing the door to his car. Then he casually strolled up to where his little step brother was lingering…and decided to finally have that conversation with him that he was waiting for.
"Hey bro…mind if I sit?" Fred spoke in a soft and gentle tone…trying not to spook the already vulnerable young male.
"Sniff…Sniff…S-S-Sure…I…I don't mind…" RDJ murmured very sheepishly…avoiding looking at his older brother. To avoid showing him how upset he was right now.
"Thank you…" Fred gradually sat down next to his weeping brother, and he laid back on his chair whilst wrapping one of his wings around him. Which surprised his brother at first, but he didn't really mind. "How are you holding up?"
"Sniff…I've been b-b-better. You?" RDJ murmured in a soft voice. Clearly he wasn't in the right frame of mind to be having long conversations.
"About the same…But you though…Woah, I mean…I don't know how you are going to move forward in this way." The older male spoke with a fake sympathetic tone, even though secretly he was loving this.
"W-W-What do you mean?"
"I mean you being the reason that mom is dead? Like…Id really hate to be the guy in that position." He continued his little charade with such a smug look…that his little brother didn't even notice how he was trying to play with his mind.
"Oh…Right…" RDJ once again lowered his head sadly.
"You know…Now that you have most likely killed our mother…You may need a place to stay? Considering that the beach house may most likely be mine." Fred cockily whispered again, as he cracked his wingtips.
"Ummm…actually Fred…That's what I needed to talk to you and RDJ about…"
Suddenly, a couple of yellow macaw males wearing suits approached the two brothers. With one of them carrying a brief case in one wing, and the other was carrying a small stack of papers.
"Who are you guys?" Fred asked a little rudely, as he crossed his wings.
"We are your parents divorce lawyers. We are actually here to discuss what your parents have left you after they split up." The macaw wearing glasses spoke up first, as he opened up his brief case.
"Woah woah woah! Their divorce wasn't even final?! So everything they had now belongs to me as I am the oldest!"
"Sorry Fred…but the papers were already signed and processed the same night that Amber had drowned at sea. One again…sorry for you lo…"
"Yeah yeah yeah, we get the condolences and shit! Just tell us what they left us, so I can start moving furniture in my new beach house!" Fred smugly spoke and put his wings on his hips.
But for the most awkward of ways…both macaws had fallen silent…with both of them looking at what appeared to be a written will.
"Why are you quiet now all of a sudden? Come on! Where's my beach house?!"
"Actually Fred…that's the thing…Because the divorce was final, and Amber owned the beach house…And considering that she left everything she owned to RDJ…"
"WHAAAAAAAAAATT?!" Fred bellowed in rage and bashed the plastic chair with his fist. Snapping it in half as it fell besides him.
RDJ wiped away his tears and stood up next to his brother, looking quite surprised by what he had heard also. "Wait…My mom…Left me her beach house?" He innocently asked, as the older male had passed him the written will.
"Not only that RDJ, she also left you her surf board shack on the beach with all of her collectibles. Not to mention the hefty inheritance and because she left you everything in her will, you get to keep everything that she had! Including the income on her life insurance." The lawyer explained whilst giving him a pen. "If you just sign here, then you will officially own all of…"
"But hold on there for a second here…let's actually have a think about this?! He doesn't have an adult to take care of him?! So…by the most obvious of ways…I should be the one to own all of this as I am over 18!" Fred still was furious that he didn't get the beach house and all of the possessions that Amber had. That he still tried and tried to get these items himself, because he wanted all of it. "Let's not be hasty? Let's be reasonable eh?"
"Ummm…We did already think of that! But…someone else has decided to take care of RDJ until he is old enough to live there on his own."
"Who?"
"Us!" Just as Fred turned around, he noticed that two of his old school friends Melissa and Keira have just arrived with Jacqueline walking in between them.
"What?! You can't be fucking serious?!"
"Yes! Both of us have agreed to take care of RDJ for the next 4 plus years until he's old enough. Then we will sign release papers so he gets to live by himself." The magpie female explained and patted RDJ on the back.
"But this is ridiculous! You aren't even related to him!" Fred couldn't believe his luck. Just when he thought he would be left absolutely everything of value, he actually had nothing. And this enraged him more and more.
"I know. But after what you did to him with his girlfriend, and you trying to undermine him all the time, how could we say no?" The scarlet female added, as both of them have signed the contract. Along with RDJ who had just agreed to the terms.
"Well you know what?! Fine! You can do that, but my little sponsorship deal with your restaurant is over! Now how will you get business now?! Haha!" Fred cackled cockily, giving all of them such a smug grin.
"Well…We don't care! We are closing the restaurant anyway, and we are going to help RDJ turn the shack into a surf board repair and cleaning business! Like what Amber said she wanted to do when she retired!" Mellisa beamed with a bright grin. Which also caused RDJ's eyes to light up in excitement.
"You…You know about her retirement dream?" RDJ asked cutely, with Jacqueline giving him a warm hug.
"You can thank me for that bestie! Don't worry, with the four of us…we can get that place up and running!" The blue female beamed excitedly, as both of them retreated from the hug.
"You…You are staying with them to?!" Fred at this moment was close to boiling point. But he dared not to lose his temper here…especially since a lot of his fan girls were staring at him.
"Indeed I am! My parents have moved to Paraguay and have been living there for months! They never told me but I don't care! I have a new home now!" Jacqueline smiled at her best friend, who smiled back and wrapped a wing around her.
"Well…You…I-I…Just…Grrrrrr! Fine!" Fred grumbled in rage and stormed up to his little brother and grasped him by the scruff of his neck. "You may have got lucky this time little bro…but just remember…I could easily ruin your life by telling everyone who was REALLY responsible for your mommy drowning!"
"But…"
"But nothing! I own you little bro! And be prepared RDJ…I am going to take everything that's important to you…and break your will…piece by piece! I own you! I…Own…YOU!"
Fred cackled once more and placed his brother back down on the floor and stormed out of the church. Followed by a lot of his fan girls, who only came because he was there.
But just as Melissa and Keira talked to the lawyers to finalised the last minute details of the contract. RDJ stood there…playing those same words over and over again in his mind.
Like a broken record player that just played the same words over and over again. "I own you…I…Own…You! I…OWN…YOU! I…Own…You!"
"You…You own me…You…Haaaaa…You own me…"
(The scene gradually cuts to black…)
7 Years Later…
(Wouldn't It Be Nice – The Beach Boys Starts Playing…)
We open up on a glorious sun shiny day, where it was set to be one of the hottest summers of the year!
So many families or individuals or couples were out at the beach. The girls were all wearing bikinis and the males wearing swim shorts or waterproof suits for swimming in the ocean.
Some of them were playing beach volleyball, and that mostly consisted of young adults who have reached ages of 16 and over.
Also, the kids were playing in their inflatables in the ocean, whilst others would just build sand castles and eat ice cream.
But that's not where we are going to start…we will start at a specific shack on the shore of the main beach. Where it looked like it was fairly busy, with customers lining up holding surf boards. Clearly this was some kind of surfing store or shack.
"Yes…Yes I know that you delivered your boards here last week! But I am telling you that you sent me broken ones!" A muscular blue and gold male was heard behind the front desk of the place. As they were on what appeared to be a company landline, talking to an angry customer.
He had a really good physique…that could drive all the girls crazy. His biceps and pectoral muscles looked a lot stronger compared to how most males look. Not to mention that he had a six pack as well. He looked like a Greek God.
"Well I'm not paying for broken boards! You either take them back, or I just throw them into the garbage! Good-Bye!" He emphasised in frustration, slamming the phone down on the hook. Wiping away the sweat from his forehead. "Ughhh…why is it always the same asshole every year?!"
"Hey RDJ, I brought you a mocha!" The male was indeed RDJ, and boy did he grow up into a handsome muscular man in the past few years.
A blue female macaw with violet eyes and a fairly slim physique with pretty big breasts walked into the shack. Holding two cups of coffee in her wings after what looked like a really stressful day.
"Oooh Jacqui, I asked for a skinny latte with an extra shot of espresso." RDJ whined, as he gave a surf board back to a little girl. "Here you are sweetie! Take it easy on those small waves. You don't want to cut your wings again."
"Thanks mister! Bye!" A child green parakeet waved at the macaw and ran out with her dad who paid him the money for the repairs.
"Thanks RDJ, as always! A little something extra here for you!" The dad gave him a tip in the tip jar and walked out of the shack. Clearly leaving satisfied with the service he provided for him and his family.
"Ahhh man! Sorry bestie! I forgot the order again!" Jacqueline sadly replied and placed both of them down on the counter. "Or did I?!" She flipped open the lid and as it turned out she was joking around.
"Haha good one! Now will you please take the returns off the racking? We need to get the boards back in order before we can restock." RDJ spoke in a strong but fair manner, as he picked up a few boards and gave them to three children who were with their mother. "Here you are, that will be $20."
"Hmmm…see…I haven't quite got that kind of money on me right now? So how about we…work it out…some…other way?" The mother purred seductively whilst running a wingtip up against his bicep. "Like…I wonder if a certain thing will be able to fit in my wing…"
"I'm sorry but I don't take sexual favours." RDJ seriously spoke, clocking his wingtips for her to cough up the money.
"Grrrr fine! Here's your $20!" She slammed it on the desk and stormed out along with her now embarrassed teens. Only leaving six customers left waiting for their boards.
"Jacqui, can you get me ticket number 279?" RDJ called out to his best friend, as she nodded her head and rummaged though some tickets in the back of the warehouse. Once she found the correct ticket number, she ran it through the system and found a pink surf board with yellow flowers painted on the bottom.
"Here you are! The board is in loadout bay 9!" The blue female passes the ticket to him, then he picked up the board and gave it to a female officer. Who was there with who could only be assumed as her husband. As they paid the $20 and went on their way.
"It's never a quiet day on a Thursday is it?! Why can't we just have a relaxing day for once!" Jacqueline whined, dabbing her forehead with a cold rag.
But just as he was about to call the next customer up to the desk…a certain voice took him completely by surprise…
"Hello brother! I'm here to collect my boards for me and my friends!"
RDJ immediately sighed in annoyance…and he faced the entrance of the shack with a really glum look. "Hi Fred…What do you want this time?"
An older hybrid macaw strolled into the shack, with long blonde hair, a strong physique. Not as strong as RDJ's but strong indeed. And he wore the tightest swim shorts.
"Oh come now little bro? Is that any way to talk to your handsome, famous brother who hasn't seen you in so long?! How long has it been? A day? A week?" Fred cockily asked whilst leaning up against the desk.
"3 years…You left after you got a tour sponsorship remember?" RDJ rolled his eyes in frustration, whilst drinking more of his coffee. "Speaking of which, you still owe me $150, for the board damages!"
"Ooooh right? I hear that you are still…'drowning'…in debt…" The older male subtly brought up the most painful memory from RDJ's past. Meaning that obviously he still was using that as a weapon to justify how RDJ makes decisions. "Oops…See that would have been embarrassing! You know…"
"Look…just…pay it when you can okay?" The blue and gold male felt so scared about the confrontation with his brother. That he just wanted to send him away as soon as he possibly could.
"Wow! Thank you so much little brother! You…are the best!" Fred chuckled with a whole bunch of sarcasm, and grabbed his boards and left with a couple of girls who were giggling and blowing kisses towards him. As he gave both of them spanks on their butts as they strolled away. "Let's go guys! The waves are calling me!"
Jacqueline got so tired of him dodging every opportunity he got to pay off the debt that he owed them. That she thought that enough is enough! And he has to pay his way like all of their other customers have to. Otherwise it wouldn't be fair for those of them that did have to pay. "Dude! You have got to let that go! He keeps using that night as an excuse to torture you!"
"So?" RDJ kept it quite short and blunt. Knowing he wasn't really in the mood to talk about it.
"So?! He will keep using it to get whatever he wants from you! You are basically letting him walk all over you!" The blue female got really frustrated, that she had to rub the cold rag on her chest to cool herself down.
"Let's not forget Jacqui…that my mom drowned trying to save me! It doesn't matter what the truth is…Fred will eventually tell others about it. Then I will be looked at in a completely different way." RDJ grumbled, picking up a crate of wood polish for the boards. And proceeded to take the empty bottles out back to the recycling.
"Who cares what he thinks?! He's an asshole who wants to be loved by all, and wants to make love to thousands of women in a year! I'm surprised he doesn't have a disease yet!"
"Look…can we please just drop this conversation? Can you please fix the ice machine before we close for the day? The weekend is supposed to be the grand opening of the surfing competition. And I have to deliver the ice for Fred's 28th next month." RDJ sighed heavily, and kicked open the back door to throw out the empty bottles of polish.
"Why are you still doing things for him, if he is making your life a complete misery? Aren't you tired of doing all of these jobs for him?"
"Of course I am! But it's not like I can just stroll up to him and say that's enough! Becatse then he will tell everyone what happened! No…we are just going to drop this conversation now and move on!" The male got another wave of anger hit him. Not from Jacqueline, but from the fact that he had to send his brother away again. And the more he does it, the more paranoid he gets.
"I don't understand? After all the hell he is being out through…why must he still do whatever he says?" Jacqueline thought to herself in confusion and shook her head.
She then pulled out the instructions on how to fix the ice machine, and got to work on putting it back together.
Meanwhile…RDJ tossed all of the empty bottles in the recycling dumpster out the back of the building. But just before he went to lock the back door, an empty plastic cup hit him on the back of his head. Which was a little confusing for him.
"What the…" He rubbed the back of his head in confusion. But that was until he had heard a familiar voice that he hadn't heard in quite some time.
"Hey hey hey there my bird! My main man! RDJ the DJ king! How's it going hot stuff! Uh! Un!" A fairly chubby red crested cardinal with brownish eyes, approached the muscular male. And he gave him what appeared to be a secret wing shake of some kind.
"Yo Pedro! How's it hanging bro?" RDJ smiled at the cardinal who revealed to be known as Pedro. Who looked quite cool and suave. When both of them stopped the wing shake they shared a brief little chuckle.
"It's hanging cool bro! Listen, I just came by to invite you and Jacqui to my crib tonight! We are going to discuss some business." The cardinal beamed, cracking his wingtips.
"For the last time…I am not going on a date with Tilly again! That was one of the worst dates of my entire life!" The blue and gold male was clearly embarrassed by the fact he went in a date with this girl and didn't exactly connect with the girl. Which did confuse his friend a little bit.
"What are you talking about? You asked me last month to set you up with a sweet tail with big boobs and a big ass? Did I not deliver?"
"Physically she was an attractive girl don't get me wrong…but emotionally well…that was where it went wrong…" He tried his best to remember exactly why it didn't work out with the last girl that he went on a date with…but then he remembered why.
RDJ's Brief Flashback…
At a fancy Italian restaurant in the city of Rio, RDJ was sat at a table in the centre of the room. Sitting opposite of him was a very attractive red bellied female woman, who was just staring at him. Talking to him really fast, not allowing him to get a single sentence in.
"So yeah, that's when I discovered that my bra size was 36B! Because I went into the store and checked for the one that they especially make for me. Especially since my boob job made them look bigger, so I luckily had custom made ones."
"Okay…All I asked was where did you grow up?" A very uncomfortable male replied, as he barely got to know anything about her.
"I was telling you silly! Then I told you about my plastic surgeon! So where was I…Oh yes! So then when I got the bra they made for me I ended up getting so many guy's attention! But they aren't very attractive guys…Not like…You anyway hehe…" Suddenly, Tilly crawled under the table that had a table cloth over it. Completely hiding her from sight, which did confuse him a little.
"Tilly? What are you…OHHHH I BELIEVE I CAN FLYYYYY…"
End Of Flashback…
"She gave you a blow job under the table, and you still dumped her? What's wrong with you?!" Pedro was surprised that he had such a good date, got some action but still dumped the girl.
"She spent the entire evening talking about herself, then she sucked my dick in public?! You know how uncomfortable that made me feel?!" Following that evening he obviously still felt a little embarrassed about it. So he probably wasn't going to ask for a second date shrike soon.
"Ahhh well, at least you tried right? And besides, that's not why I'm asking you to come over. Me and Nico have some big news to tell you! So make sure you and Jacqui aren't late." Pedro seemed so excited about the news, that he couldn't help but smile excitedly about it.
"Fine. By the way, you want a beer before heading back? We confiscated them from some kids earlier today."
"Sure! I'm down for a cold one!" Pedro have his friend another secret wing shake, then proceeded to walk besides him into the surf shack.
RDJ locked the door behind him and went to the fridge to grab a beer for his guest. As he opted to finish his coffee.
"Hey Pedro! How's the new job coming along?" Jacqueline walked into the room and grabbed a beer for herself, sitting on top of the counter after locking the front doors to the shack. And putting the closed sign up whilst they waited for the system to go offline for the day.
"Hey Jacqui! Yeah it's going well girl! Just talking to RDJ about the new position that's come up. I think he will like it!" The cardinal male was very clever to hide whatever it was he was going to ask his friend to do. Up until the point that he kind of gave it away.
"What position?" RDJ asked, as he wiped the sand off of the surface with a cloth. However he was a lot more annoyed when the grains of sand fell down his shorts. "For fuck sake! I fucking hate sand!"
"Wait a second? Don't you work on a beach? And you used to surf?" Pedro asked, really surprised by what he had said.
"I don't mind if I'm walking on it and I wash my talons afterwards. I just don't like it when it gets…lodges places…Brrrrrrr!" He shuddered and the thought of it.
"Huh…That's an interesting phobia. Anyway, the position I was about to discuss with you tonight…was to be the third judge in the bikini competition next Monday!"
"What?" RDJ asked in shock, as he leaned up against the podium. "Why me? I'm not a celebrity like you and Nico?"
"Yeah…but unfortunately Kipo dropped out at the last minute because he has to look after his folks in São Paulo over the summer. So…we thought who better than our best friend!" Pedro beamed and took another swig of his beer.
"Dude…I don't know how to judge a bikini competition? What do I even do?"
"Easy! All of the girls have to show us what they've got. Then you give them a score from 1-10. Then the girls with the best scores go through to the next round! Plus…Nico seems to think that having the hottest guy in Rio on the judging panel might make the girls perform better!" Pedro explained and finished his beverage. "So…are you in?"
"Can I…think about it? Then let you know tonight?" The muscular male asked thoughtfully, clearly unsure about whether to do it or not.
"Sure bro! Now come on, let's lock this place up so we can head to the bar. I promise I won't set you up with any more of my friends!" The cardinal male clapped his wings together and waltzed over to the door to wait for Jacqui to let him out.
The hour census gave him a slight nudge on the shoulder and smiled at him sweetly. "Come on? Girls in their sexy bikinis? Isn't this the kind of thing that Fred would he so jealous of? You get to see all these half naked girls strutting around, and he will be out there potentially at risk of a shark attack! Everyone wins!" She giggled at the thought of it, causing her best friend to laugh in response.
"True…But I guess I'll make a decision in the evening! Now come on…Let's go to the bar. I could use a drink…"
