Audrey rushed toward Ben's office, eager to go to the Isle today, but more so to see Gil. They had yet to call each other boyfriend and girlfriend, so Audrey wanted to talk to him today to ask what he thought they were. She rushed through the castle, ignoring the curious looks as she ran through the castle, and Chip when he wasn't looking to see Audrey in a rush.

"Ben!" She yelled as she barged into his office, making him jump in fright.

"God damn, Audrey," Ben said as he braved himself against his desk. "Could you knock?"

"Sorry," she said as she looked at him with a scared smile. "I'm just… ready? Excited?" She questioned, not knowing what to tell him.

"I see that," he said as he started to put his phone in his pocket. "I was just finishing up here."

She nodded her head, before she started to rock back and forth on her heels. She watched as Ben made sure he had everything he needed, before he grabbed his keys and looked back at the princess.

"Okay, miss impatient," he said, making her chuckle. "I'm ready."

"Yay," she said as she clapped her hands and rushed out of his office.

Ben followed her, shaking his head as he closed the door behind him. They would typically take the limo, but it was only the two of them going today, so Ben said that they would just take his bike. Audrey hated riding on the bike, mostly because she hated that the helmet gave her helmet hair. When they got to the barrier, Ben pulled the button out of his pocket and opened it enough so that he and Audrey could get through with his bike. Once the barrier was closed, he helped Audrey back on the bike and they rode toward Bargain castle.

"Why hello," Mal said as she opened the doors to see her boyfriend and Audrey walking up to the castle. "To what do we own the honor?"

"Can't I just come and visit my beautiful girlfriend?" He asked as he walked up to her and gave her a small kiss on the lips.

"You can, but I feel like you came here for more than just a visit," she said as she looked up at him with a grin.

He pulled her close and buried his nose into her hair. "Maybe I did," he said in a low husky voice, making her laugh and throw her head back.

"And wha…" Mal said as she turned to look at Audrey but saw that she was gone. "And she's gone," she said as she looked back at Ben. "Let me guess, she was excited to see Gil?"

"So excited that she nearly gave me a heart attack before we came here," he said with a nod. "So what is new?" He asked. "Tell me about all the things that have happened since the last time we talked."

She laughed as she laced her fingers with his and they walked into the castle. "Well, being as I talked to you this morning, not that much," she said with a laugh. "But, if you want, I can show you how things are."

"I would love that," he said, making her smile.

They made their way over to the school and all of the kids surrounded them once they saw them. It made Ben laugh when he heard a hundred different questions. Ben and Mal would try to answer as many questions as they could, but it was hard when they were being pulled left and right by the kids.

"Okay, you little vultures," Mal said, making them all laugh. "I have to show King Ben how the food deliveries are coming along."

They all started to run in different directions, making the couple look at them as they disappeared.

"Wow," Ben said. "You would think that they would know the answer, knowing that they asked it before."

"Their kids," she said with a shrug. "They forget. I remember Hadie would ask me the same question 3 times in a day."

"Doesn't he still do that?" Ben asked, making Mal laugh out loud.

"Now, I know you are not trying to eat raw beignet mix," they heard a woman say as they walked into the newly renovated cafeteria.

They saw Queen Tiana standing with Dr. Facilier and she was looking at him with a grin as he smiled and laughed.

"I must admit, T," he said as he stuck his finger back into the bowl. "You do make the most delicious beignets. Lottie was right, you can catch any man with these," he said, making her laugh and shake her head.

"And they would taste even better if you would let me fry them up," she said as she took the bowl from him.

"That's a new sight," Ben said as he pointed to the queen and voodoo man. "When did that happen?"

"This morning," she said as she went over to the boxes on the table. "She came with your royal guards and Jay has been her guard," she said as she pointed to Jay who was putting food away in the kitchen. "Though Facilier has been keeping a good eye on her," she said as she smiled.

"You know, T," Dr. Facilier said, making Tiana look at him. "I never apologized for what I did to you and your husband."

"We all do…"

"No," he said, cutting her off. "I used your love for your daddy to try to get you to do something horrible," he said as he helped her with the beignets. "I should have never done that. I would never want something like that to happen to my girls. They mean the world to me and I bet you meant the world to your daddy," he said, making her smile. "He would be so proud of the lovely woman you have become."

"Thank you, Shadow," she said. "I have not had the chance to meet your other girls, but Uma is a strong and beautiful young lady."

"That she is," he said with a laugh. "She is my wild child. I thought that Celia was going to be, but Uma and Freddie keep her in check that she doesn't get a chance to. She's just sassy," he said, making her laugh.

"She must get it from you," Tiana said, making him laugh out loud.

"He's always wanted to apologize and talk to Tiana after Freddie was born," Mal said, making Ben look back at her. "He felt bad about everything he said to her about her dad. He felt wrong after."

"Wouldn't any father?" Ben asked.

"Yeah," Mal sighed. "Come on," she said. "Carlos is going to be here soon, and I can show you around more."

Mal held her hand out for Ben, before they ran out of the school to have fun adventures on the new and improved Isle of the Lost.

"No," Evie said as she walked out of her room. "I am blue. You are not going to dye my hair green," she said.

Dizzy followed her out of her room, pouting as she followed Evie down stairs. "Come on, Evie. If you don't like it, we can dye it back."

"Not a chance, Dizzy," Evie said as she started to walk toward the kitchen. "You…" but stopped when there was a loud knock at the door.

"Who is that?" Dizzy asked. "Didn't Mal and Ben leave for her parents cave an hour ago?"

"Yeah," Evie said as she walked toward the door. "Jay and Carlos are asleep and Uma, Harry, and Gil are at the wharf."

She walked to open the door and saw Doug standing on the other side with a scared look on his face.

"Oh, Doug," she said as she smiled at him. "What are you doing here?"

"Hi, Evie," he said as he ran a hand through his long hair. "I.. I am actually here to see you," he said with a small stutter.

"Really?" She asked as she smiled at him. "Okay. Why don't you come inside?"

He nodded his head, before he followed her inside and into their living room.

"Dizzy? No green," she said as she pointed at her.

"Fine," Dizzy said with a groan. "I'll meet you at Granny's later," she said. "Bye, Doug."

"Bye, Dizzy," he said with a wave as she walked out of the living room, leaving Evie and Doug alone.

"So," Evie said as she sat down and patted the seat next to her. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well," he said as he walked over and sat down next to her. "I was actually wondering if you would like to… um… go on a date with me?" He asked, afraid to meet her eyes.

She didn't say anything, making Doug grow nervous. He didn't want to look up and see her face, but when he slowly turned to face her, he saw that she was smiling.

"I would love to go on a date with you," she said, making Doug smile.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah," she said. "You are one of the sweetest boys I have ever met. Why wouldn't I say yes?"

"Well… you're just… you're just very beautiful," he said as he fixed his glasses. "And I am just a nerd with a guitar."

Evie shook her head and laughed, before she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "You are not just a nerd with a guitar," she said. "You are much more than that."

He smiled at her, making his cheeks flush red. He was nervous about this date, and wanted to make sure that it was one she would never forget.

"Everything is going to be great, Doug," Snow said as she patted his shoulder. "She is going to love everything you planned."

After he came back from the Isle last week, he basically ran to Charmington to ask Snow for help. She thought it was so sweet that Doug wanted to plan the perfect date fro Evie. He had come over, more than he usually did, and begged Snow to help. She loved hearing Doug's ideas and loved that he was so enthusiastic about his date. Snow was never able to have a baby of her own, so when Doug was born she grew very fond of him. Doug's mother passed away during birth and Dopey was distraught. Snow and David had him move into the castle with Doug and they have been a close bunch ever since. As Doug got older, Snow and David knew that they wanted him to take their throne, but they wanted it to be his decision, and when he said yes, they were over the moon.

"You think she is going to like it?" He asked as he started to pace around his room. "I just want her to have the best time, and…"

"Hey," she said as she stood from the bed and walked over to him. "You planned a perfect date," she said. "She is going to have the best time ever."

He took a breath and nodded his head. He knew he was overthinking everything, but this was not just any girl. This was Evie. The most beautiful girl he had ever met. The most wonderful person in his world. A knock on the door made Doug jump and he turned around to see his dad standing in the doorway. He signed that Evie was almost there, and he saw the panic grow on Doug's face. He walked over and told him to not worry. Doug and his father had a beautiful relationship and Dopey was proud of the man Doug had become.

"Okay," Doug said as he cracked his neck and fixed his shirt. "I'm ready."

Dopey patted his son's shoulder and gave him a proud nod, before Snow told him good luck. Hw walked out of the room and headed down to the front of the castle, in hopes to have the best day with Evie.

He stood at the bottom of the steps swaying back and forth as he waited for David to drive up to the castle. He heard the car coming toward him and he started to get nervous. He saw Evie sitting in the passenger seat and she and David were laughing as he pulled to a stop. Doug smiled before he walked over and opened her door.

"Thank you, David," she asked as she took Doug's hand. "And hello, Doug," she said as she smiled up at him.

"Hello," he said as he smiled at her. "Are you ready?" He asked.

"Have fun you two," David said as he closed the driver's side door and walked around the car. "Take care of my sister, Dougie."

"Will do, David," Doug said, before he turned back to Evie.

"So," she said as she looped her arm through his. "I don't know what happens on dates, so I am a little bit at a loss of what we are going to be doing."

"Well, all dates are different," he said as he started to walk her around the castle. "Some people go to the movies, some go out to dinner, and some just sit at home and talk," he explained. "There are many ways to 'date'," he said.

"So, what is our date going to consist of?" She asked.

"I thought that we could maybe start off with an archery competition?" He asked as he pointed to the stables and she looked to see the abundance of archery stands waiting for them.

"How did you know I knew how to shoot?" She asked as she jogged over to the bows and arrows.

"I may have blown up Mal's phone asking her what you like to do for fun," he said as he walked over and grabbed the bow with his name on it. "I also know how to shoot, but I heard that you never miss a shot. Like father, like daughter, right?" He asked, making her laugh.

"I may be a little good," she said with a small shrug. "But I guess we will see who the better shot it. Come on," she said as she grabbed Snow's bow. "Let's go."

Their archery date was fun and they both were happy with the way things were going so far. She was shocked to see how good Doug was at shooting, but he had to admit that she was better.

"Where do you learn to shoot?" He asked as they walked back to the stables to put the bows away.

"My mama," she said. "She taught me when I was young and Seph and Hades set me up a archery room in their cave so no one would bother me while I practiced."

"That's nice," he said as he hung up his bow.

"Who taught you?" She asked.

"Your sister," Doug said. "Snow was a great teacher and she learned from your mother," he said, making her smile. "Are you ready for the next part of our date?" He asked.

"There is more?" She asked in surprise.

"Yeah," he said. "Come on. Let's go."

He led her to a small gazebo and she saw a small picnic waiting for them.

"This is so cute," she said as she walked over and saw everything on the table.

"I cannot take credit for this one," he said, making her turn to look at him. "Ben helped me with this one. He is a picnic master and gave me his date idea for Mal."

"No," she said as she looked at him with wide eyes. "This…"

"He is taking her to the enchanted lake," Doug said, cutting her off. "I went to ask him what I should do after I asked Snow for some ideas and he told me his idea of a picnic," he said. "Plus, he said it would give him an excuse to give Mal another swim lesson."

Evie laughed as she shook her head. This was turning out to be a great date, and she was hoping that he would want to do this again. When they walked back to the castle Snow was waiting outside for them and she had a bright smile on her face.

"Hello, you two," she said as she walked up to them. "How was your evening?"

"It was amazing," Evie said as she ran to give her sister a hug. "I had a really great time."

"I am glad to hear," she said. "I am also sorry to just barge in like this, but David had to leave for a meeting, so I was wondering if you would like to stay for the night and we could drive you home tomorrow," she offered.

"Okay," Evie said as she nodded her head. "That is fine."

"Great, I will leave you two and I can show you where your room will be after dinner," she said as she walked away from them and back into the castle.

"What do you say about watching a movie?" Doug asked, making Evie turn to look at him. "Ben's theater room is fancier than my room, but maybe we could grab some popcorn and just enjoy a quite movie together."

"Sure," she said as she walked over and looped her arm through his. "You'll just have to show me the way."

He laughed and nodded his head, before they went upstairs to watch a movie. After dinner, Doug was in his room with his guitar in his lap. He heard a soft knock at his door, and he walked over to open the door and saw Evie standing on the other side. He was going to ask her if she needed anything, but before he would ask she crushed her lips to his, taking him off guard. When she pulled away, he looked at her with a shocked look.

"Sorry," she said with a small laugh. "I just didn't know how to…" but Doug cut her off by pulling her by her hip and crushing his lips to hers.

"I had a great time with you," he said, making her cheeks flush red. "And I would like to do it again."

"I would like that too," she said with a small laugh. "I'll… I'll see you tomorrow," she said as she looked up to meet his dark green eyes.

"Okay. Goodnight," he said.

"Goodnight."

She walked away and he watched as she turned the corner and disappeared. He was so glad with how his date went with her and he couldn't wait to see how things would go with her.

"Where are you going this early in the morning?" Ben asked as he saw Mal getting ready.

"I am going to go to the Moors, before I go home," she said as she smiled at him. "Want to come with me?"

"Sure," he said as he sat up and stretched his arms.

He turned to grab his phone and noticed the date. He got out of bed and walked over to her, before wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Do you know what today is?" He asked, making her look up and saw him smiling at her through the mirror.

"I do," she said as she nodded her head. "Today is our 8 month anniversary."

"And 10 months since we met for the first time," he said as he kissed the side of her face. "Such a glorious 10 months."

She shook her head and laughed, before she told him to get ready. He got ready as quickly as he could, and walked out to see Mal sitting on his bed on her phone.

"Ready?" He asked, making her look up at him and nod.

"Yeah," she said. "Whenever you are."

"I just have to get one thing before we go," he said as he walked into his closet and walked to the small safe he had in his drawer.

He opened it and pulled out a small box and took out the gift he had for Mal. He walked out and walked up to her with a snide smirk on her face, making her look up at him with a confused look on his face.

"What?" She asked.

Instead of saying anything, he held his hand out. She looked at him even more confused, before she held her hand out and he dropped something in her hand. He pulled his hand away and she saw that he dropped two new charms in her hands, but these were different. These were jewels. One was purple and one was blue.

"These are beautiful," she said as she looked at them and smiled.

"They are obviously for your bracelet," he said. "One for each of your favorite colors."

"I like to think of it as one for you and one for me," she said as she looked up at him. "Can you help me put them on?" She asked as she held up her wrist.

He nodded and helped her with the charms, before he took her hands in his.

"Thank you for making me happy for the last 8 months," he told her. "I know I do not need to say this, but you make me the happiest I have ever been."

"You make me happy too," she said as she smiled up at him.

"I love you and I want to spend many years telling you that," he said.

"I love you too," she said, before she pushed herself up on her toes and kissed him. "Come on. We have quite the drive."

Four months later, Ben went to the Isle to surprise Mal, but found out that she was in Auradon. Ben had given her a button to the barrier, so that she and her friends could come and go from the Isle as they pleased. It was their one year anniversary and he had no idea where she was. He remembered that they were sharing locations and quickly pulled out his phone. He pulled up her contact and smiled when he found that she was at the Moors. He rode all the way, hoping that she would not be hard to find.

He felt like he had been waking forever. He was walking around the forest, trying to see where his girlfriend was, when he heard her laughter coming from his left. He walked toward the sound and saw her sitting by a box of newly potted plants and a flurry of fairies were flying around her. They placed a flower crown on her head, making her smile as she looked up at the little sparkling creatures.

"Thank you," she said as she touched the top of her head. "I love it."

They squeaked and smiled, before they saw Ben and scurried away.

"I guess I scared them off," he said as he walked over to her.

"Hey," she said as she looked up and smiled at him. "And no," she said as she shook her head. "They are just not used to others being in the Moors. They will get used to you."

"So, you're going to invite me to the Moors more often when the barrier is down?" He asked as he held his hand out to her.

"You can come whenever you want," she said as she took his hand. "You never have to ask to come here."

He laughed, before he leaned down and gave her a small kiss on her lips.

"What brought you here?" She asked as he held his hand out to her.

"Well, I went to the Isle to surprise you," he said as he pulled her off the ground. "I was wanting to spend our anniversary together," he said, making her laugh. "I went knocking on the castle door and Evie told me that you left early this morning."

"Well, my plan was to surprise you too," she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "We've been dating for a year. That's quite a milestone."

"It is," he said with a bright smile.

"I was going to head to your castle, but I decided to stop by here and kind of lost track of time."

"I should be surprised, but I'm not," he said, making her laugh. "They made you a beautiful crown," he said as he touched one of the flowers.

"I know," she said as she bent down to pick up the box. "I was getting ready to leave and fly over to your castle, but the fairies were excited to see me."

"That's good," he said as he took the box from her. "They missed their queen."

She laughed and shook her head, before they walked hand in hand toward the barrier. They were laughing and talking when Ben stopped them.

"Look," he said as he nudged her shoulder. "That is where you were crowned queen."

Mal turned and saw the clearing where she was crowned queen by the creatures of the Moors. She smiled before Ben put the box down and he took her hand again. They walked toward the clearing and he twirled her around, making her laugh.

"Your mother would be proud of you," he said as he turned her to look at him. "I may have not known her, but I know she would have been proud of you."

"I hope she is," she said as she smiled up at him.

"Tell me about her," he said as he swung their hands back and forth. "I want to know about the woman who created the most beautiful thing in my world."

"Well," she said as they walked forward to sit under a tree. "I have her sass," she said as they sat down. "My dad thinks I have the same sass he does, but I have his sarcasm," she said, making him laugh. "She was… magical," Mal said. "Not meaning in the literal way. She was just a magical being that I am so grateful I had the chance to be her daughter," she said.

"From what I saw in the viewing," he said as he took her hand. "You look just like her."

"I look like both of my parents, but I will agree that I look a little more like my mom," she said. "It's all in the eyes."

"Her eyes were bright green," he said. "Yours have gold little flecks in them and they glisten when you smile."

"So I have been told," she said as she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"What is your favorite memory about your mom?"

"Well, I was 6 when she died," she said as she took a deep breath. "I remember her reading me to sleep, her singing to me and stroking my hair, the family dinners we used to have either at my dads or bargain castle," she said as she went on. "I even remember when I was 5, I was trying to help her plan mama Seph's baby shower. They were both laughing at how eager I was to be a big sister, and even though mama Seph told me that Hadie was a boy, I would still call him a girl," she said, making Ben laugh.

"You were all very close," he said as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.

"We were," she said with a nod. "It never changed after my mom passed, she was the only thing missing," she said. "We were not okay for a while, obviously, but mama and my dad always told me how much my mom loved me and how happy she would be to see the person I have become."

"They're right," he said. "You are a dream come true," he told her as he kissed the side of her head. "I bet if she were here right now, she would be showing you the Moors herself," he said. "I could see it now, both of you, flying around, being as free as you both have ever been."

Mal smiled at the thought. She didn't know how different things would be if her mother was here. Would she be where she is now? Would she still be stuck on the Isle? Would she have ever written to Ben?

"I think my mom would like you," she said as she turned to look up at him.

"You think?" He asked.

"I know," Mal said, making him smile brightly. "She would think you are very respectful and a very good king. She would like you a lot."

"Well that is good, because I am very fond of her daughter," he said, making her laugh as he pulled her close and kissed her head again.

"Well, I am fond of you too," she said as she smiled up at him. "I am more than just fond of you."

He smiled down at her, before he gave her a kiss on her lips and they sat for a moment longer. They were enjoying the time they spent together and they couldn't wait to see where their futures were headed.

About three months later, Belle was getting ready, while Ben and Adam were getting ready for a meeting. She was going to be heading to the Isle for the first time, and she was excited to see how much progress her son and the residents of the Isle had made. She was just finishing putting her hair up in a bun, when Adam walked into their room.

"You look comfortable," he said, making her turn to look at him.

"Well, I am going to be helping Mal at the school," she said. "I didn't want to be wearing a dress," she said, making him laugh.

She was wearing a pair of black leggings and a light blue shirt. This was very different from her royal attire, but she didn't want to be working in a dress for the next couple of hours.

"Is Hades here yet?" She asked as she picked up her phone.

"He will be here soon," he said. "Are you sure you are okay going by yourself?" He asked.

"For the last time," she said as she turned to look up at him. "I am going to be fine. Mal is going to be with me the entire time, and to be honest," she said as she looked at their door. "I would love to spend some time with her. She and Ben have been dating for over a year, and I have the biggest feeling that she is not going to be going anywhere," she said with a smile.

Adam smiled at the thought. He knew Ben was head over heels in love with the purple haired fae, and he had to admit that she was a wonderful girl. She made his son so happy, and he could not imagine Ben with anyone else.

"She is very special," he said with a smile.

"That she is," Belle said. "But I have to get going, and you have to go and find your son, because knowing him, and I do, he is going to try to sneak off to the Isle with me."

"You have a point," Adam said with a laugh. "Plus, I should wait for Hades outside."

"Let's go," Belle said as she walked out of the room with her husband following her.

They walked to the front of the castle, and saw Ben standing outside talking with Hades.

"You're even earlier than I was expecting," Adam said, making both Ben and Hades turn to look at him.

"Chip drives fast," Hades said. "Mally is waiting for you at the barrier," he said.

"She doesn't have to do that," Belle said as she pulled out her phone. "I'll…"

"She said she knew you would say that, and she wanted me to tell you that if she got caught up in doing anything else, she didn't want there to be a chance that she would be late to meet you."

"That girl," Belle said with a laugh. "Well, I better be off, before the others get here."

"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you, mom?" Ben asked.

"Ben, you have to attend the meeting," she said as she turned to look back at her son. "Don't worry. You'll see Mal in a couple of days."

Adam and Hades laughed as Belle got into the car. She buckled in, before waving goodbye and Chip drove off.

"Excited, Belle?" Chip asked.

"Yeah," she said as she clapped her hands. "I know this is my first time to the Isle, but after hearing all of the good changes the kids have made, I can't wait to see for myself."

The drive was quick, and as Chip drove up to the barrier, they saw Mal sitting on a stone wall.

"There she is," Belle said as she unbuckled her belt. "Thank you, Chip. I'll see you later."

"See you later, Belle," Chip said as he smiled at her. "I'll drop Hades off a little later, and I'll wait here for you."

"Okay," she said as she got out of the car and walked over to the barrier.

When she was close enough, a small opening appeared and Mal rushed over to hug her boyfriend's girlfriend.

"Hi, Belle," she said as she pulled away from the hug. "I am so excited that you are here. I can't wait to show you everything."

"And I cannot wait to see what you have done," she said. "Let's go."

After a couple of hours, showing Belle around, both queens made their way to the school. This was where Belle had wanted to see the most. She loved all of the improvements. She was so happy with how far it had come. Though she had never been to the Isle, she had seen the pictures of what the Isle used to look like. She was so proud of what Mal, Ben, and the others have done, and she couldn't wait to see what else they would change in the future.

"And this is the library," Mal said as she and Belle walked into the library. "I know this is where you have been itching to come," she said, making Belle laugh.

"Get the hell out of here, Frollo," a loud booming voice yelled, making Belle and Mal jump. Fred Frollo started to laugh as he ran toward the door. "If you come in here one more time and ruin the new books, I will hang you from my wall," Gaston yelled as he ran out from one of the aisles.

Freddy ran faster toward where Belle and Mal were and pushed past them, making Belle fall to the floor.

"Belle!" Gaston yelled as he rushed forward and both Mal and Gaston helped her back to her feet.

"Are you alright?" Mal asked as she put her hand on Belle's shoulder.

"I am fine," she said as she brushed off her pants. "Thank you though."

"I'l be right back," Mal said as she ran from the library, leaving Belle with Gaston.

"She is going to fight with him. Isn't she?" Belle asked with a laugh.

"More than likely," Gaston said with a laugh of his own. "It's great to see you again," he said, making Belle look up at him. "How is Adam?"

"He is doing just fine," Belle said as she smiled up at him. "It is very good to see you too. You cut your hair."

"I did," he said as he ran his hand through his short jet black hair. "It was getting unmanageable and it was starting to get matted."

"Same with Adam," Belle said. "He cut his hair for more than just that too," she said with a laugh. "Ben kept pulling it when he learned how to grasp things and it would drive Adam crazy."

"You would think I would have done that too, but I just let all my kids pull my hair," he said, making her laugh. "Gia didn't cut my hair until she was 13," he said.

"Gia? That is your daughter," she said.

"She is," he said with a nod. "She reminds me a lot of you."

"She does? Is what way?"

"That fact that she is so high strung," he said as he held his hand out for her so the could walk about the library. "Laurette is her mother," he said. "She and Gil have the same mother and Gaston Jr. and Gaston the Third have Claudette as a mother."

"You had kids with sisters?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"When you put it like that, it sounds bad, but you have to hear what happened and the reason why I had kids with both," he said. "When we first came to the Isle, I was in bad shape," he explained. "Laurette and her sisters aided me…"

"Because they were obsessed with you," Belle said with a laugh.

"Yes," he said with a laugh. "But, as time went on I started to fall in love with Laurette," he said. "She made me feel like I had never felt before and I was so lucky that she loved me too. Though, Claudette and Paulette were jealous," he said as they both sat down at a table. "Paulette not as much, but Claudette was more than just jealous," he said. "She went crazy," he explained. "Laurette and I were planning on getting married, and we were so happy. Though we did not live together, she would come over and sleep with me in my home. It was not often, but it was once in a while," he said, making Belle grow more and more intrigued. "One night, Claudette dressed in Laurette's clothes and came over. I was half asleep and I feel that I am the only one who could tell them apart, but I was too tired and one thing led to another and she told Laurette and I that she was pregnant 2 months later," he said, making Belle look at him in shock. "Luckily Laurette knew I would never do anything to hurt her, though she was not happy with her sister."

"I could only imagine not," she said as she posted her head in her hands. "Go on."

"Months later, Claudette gave birth to Gaston Jr. and Gaston the Third, and I know," he said as he held his hand out. "I do not know why she named them that, but it was her final wish, before she died."

"She died?" Belle asked with wide eyes.

"She died a couple of hours after giving birth," he said. "With the lack of health care, there was not much we could do," he said. "Paulette and Laurette were a big help with the boys, and I was lucky to have them. Laurette and I had Gil when the twins were three and Gia was born when Gil was two," he said and then frowned. "Laurette died during childbirth with Gia," he said, looking down at the table.

"I am so sorry," Belle said as she took his hand, making him look at her.

"It's okay," he said. "Laurette had a hard pregnancy and she had a very hard labor. Paulette has been the biggest help and I don't know what I would have done without her."

"You two are close?" She asked with a smile.

"Yeah," he said with a nod. "She's my sister. She has helped me through so much."

Belle smiled. She had a great conversation with Gaston and could see that he had changed so much.

"Hey," she said, making him look at her. "What do you say about traveling to Auradon? I bet you and Adam would have a blast catching up."

He laughed and nodded his head. "I would love that."

"Daddy?" A voice said, making both adults look up.

"Belle?" They heard Mal call.

"That's our girls," Gaston said as he stood up from the table. "Gia was coming to help me reorganize the books."

"Can I meet her?" Belle asked.

"Of course," he said with a bright smile.

They walked toward the front of the library and saw both girls standing by the front desk talking. Belle saw Gia and noticed that she looked just like her mother. She had long blonde hair and Gaston's blue eyes.

"Hello," Gia said as she walked up to Belle. "You are queen Belle," she said. "I have heard so much about you."

"It is so good to meet you," Belle said as she gave the 23 year old a hug.

"I hate to interrupt, but my dad and Chip are going to be here soon," Mal said as she walked up next to Belle.

"What happened to your face?" Belle asked as she grabbed the side of Mal's face to see a red mark on it.

"Freddy happened," Gia said. "I was making many ways to the library and I saw Mal and him fighting in the alley. She had him pinned against the wall, before she saw me and he got a good punch in, before he ran away."

"Ben is not going to be happy," she said as she rubbed the red mark.

"Well, I am hoping it heals before he comes for his next visit," she said with a small laugh. "It may be a small bruise, but it's nothing I can't handle. Though, Frollo may not be able to have kids now."

"Is that a crime that we do not want him to reproduce?" Gia asked.

"No, but I have to get Belle to the barrier," she said as she looped her arm through Belle's. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah," she said with a nod. "I was going to ask you if you wanted to have lunch with me next week?"

"Yeah we can do that," Mal said with a bright smile.

"Great, When you come you can bring gaston so he could spend some time with Adam," she said as she smiled at him. "I bet Adam would love that."

'Thank you, Belle," he said as he took a step and gave her a hug. "I'll see you next week."

"See you then," she said, before she and Mal walked out of the library to meet with Chip and Hades.

The week flew by and Ben was rolling out of bed when he heard a knock on his door. He opened it to see his girlfriend standing there in a long floral dress.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with a shocked expression.

"I am having lunch with your mother," she said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I just came by to say hello, before we left, but I didn't know that you were still going to be asleep at 11 in the morning," she said, making him laugh.

"I stayed up pretty late last night," he said as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Having a hard time sleeping?" She asked as she rubbed his shoulder.

"More of had a lot on my mind," he said, trying more to sound worried. "When are you leaving?"

"We are leaving in a couple of minutes," she said as she took her phone out of her pocket. "Actually, she is probably waiting for me right now," she said. "I'll see you when I get back."

"Okay," he said with a nod. "I'll see you later."

She leaned in to give him a kiss, before she rushed away to meet with his mom. Once she rounded the corner, Ben closed his door and rushed to get ready. He needed to be fast and needed to be back before Mal was back. When he was done changing, he quickly texted his mom and asked her to keep Mal out for as long as she possibly could and when she responded okay, he sighed in relief. He ran outside and kicked his bike into gear. He rode to the barrier and through the Isle until he stopped in the middle of Hades cave. He was about to knock on the cave door, when it opened and Hades was standing on the other side.

"I heard you coming," he said with a laugh. "I assume I know what you are here about."

"Maybe?" Ben asked as he swallowed the lump in his throat.

"Come on in," Hades said as he moved to let Ben walk in. "Seph will have some tea ready."

Ben walked out of Hades cave with a bright smile on his face. He didn't know how this day could get any better, but he just needed to make one more stop before heading home. He kicked his bike into gear again and rode to Maleficent's meadow. He had a small bouquet of flowers in his hand and walked over to the stone under the tree.

"Hello, Queen Maleficent," he said as he sat down and put the flowers in front of the stone. "I know I have introduced myself before," he said with a huffed laugh. ""But I am Ben. I am Mal's boyfriend," he said as a flower above his head started to bloom and shine, but he didn't notice it. "I just wanted to come and say that I love your daughter very much. I have never loved someone as much as I love her," he went on. "I know we never had the proper chance to meet, but I feel that I know you because I know Mal," he said as more flowers started to bloom. "She is such a wonderful human and I do not know what I would do if I didn't have her in my life."

He was starting to get nervous again, and he honestly didn't know why. Maybe it was because he wanted to respect Mal's mother.

"I am just going to get straight to the point," he said as he held his hands out. "I want to marry your daughter," he said. "She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't think I could go on with life without her. She is my other half, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her," he said.

The flowers behind him started to blossom and glow, but he still paid no mind to them, because he was busy trying to get his words out.

"I want her to be the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I see before I go to sleep," he said. "I know I can't really ask you for your permission, because you are no longer with us, but I still wanted to talk to you to let you know that I would do anything for her and anything to make her happy," he said. "I will protect her for the rest of my life and make sure no harm will ever come her way. She is my world and I hope that you will watch over us and I hope that you will be happy for us." He got up and fixed his shirt. "Goodbye, Queen Maleficent. Thank you again for giving Mal to us."

He was happy with what he had said, and was hoping that Maleficent was listening somehow. He walked out of the meadow, not noticing that all of the flowers were in full bloom and glowing.

Until next time my Lovie! xoxo GM
