I'm glad that you like the story so far - I know this chapter is a bit short but I didn't want to keep you in suspense. From now on the story goes into the alternative universe.
Criticism is welcome, as long as it is criticism I can work with :)
Chapter 2.
A few hours later, the drinks were gone and the gathered crowd went home for the night. In the end, only Amanda, Nick, Carisi, Elliot and Olivia remained.
"I think it's time for one last round." Elliot smiled as he stood up. He felt like he was being watched as he walked away, but when he turned around, Olivia wasn't staring at his ass like he had been staring at hers. Olivia was engaged in a lively conversation with the three remaining guests. He didn't know why he felt like someone was watching him, so he shook off the feeling and ordered five beers.
When he came back, he slipped into the conversation with ease. He glanced around the table and smiled when he saw a look of ease and happiness on Olivia's face.

Only two guests remained at the end of the night. The venue's staff cleaned up and put away the chairs and tables, sighing as they worked around the last two guests.
"Cheers," he said, holding his glass up to his friend. She smiled and picked up her full glass, tapping it against his.
"It's been a good night, but after this drink I have to go home," she said before taking a sip.
The moment the whiskey hit her tongue, her taste buds detected something incredibly bitter. She winced at the taste and downed the rest of her drink. As she set her cup down, her eyes locked with those of her friend. He was just as uncomfortable with the taste of her whiskey, but that didn't stop him from drinking it.
They sat for a few moments, exchanging words before standing together. He offered her his arm, and as they made their way to the door, each of them became dizzy. Their vision was blurred at the edges, and neither of them felt good. Both thought it might be because they had been mixing drinks all night, but they weren't quite sure.
Against their better judgment, they went to her car instead of taking a taxi. She leaned against it and smiled at him.
"Thanks for tonight, it was a lot of fun," she breathed, her tongue feeling heavy in her mouth. She tried to ignore it, but it was difficult.
"I always have fun with you," he grinned. He started to back away, but his body started to sway.
"Woah there. Take it easy," she slurred, her hands going to his waist. The moment her fingers dug into the flesh of his hips, he couldn't help himself.
He leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. His arms wrapped around her body as the kiss grew deeper and more passionate.
"G-give me a second," she panted.
"Hurry then," he murmured against her lips.
She struggled to grab her keys, her fingers tingling as if they were asleep. When she managed to get the keys out of her clutch, she turned around so that her back was flush against his front. She unlocked her car a few times, then opened the back door.
She climbed into the back seat and her friend followed. It wasn't long before his hands were unzipping her dress and she was unbuttoning his shirt.
Her body tingled as he pulled off her dress and began to pepper her sun-kissed skin with kisses. He couldn't help but smell her skin as he made his way down her shoulders to her cloth-covered chest.
"You smell like vanilla," he murmured between kisses.
"Shut up and keep going," she panted.
It wasn't long before all the clothes were tossed to the floor. He laid her back against the leather seats and planted a kiss on each breast. At this point, each of them had only one thing on their minds.
Sex.
