Making his way to his room to make sure Raven was as comfortable as she could be, Robin did a quick tidying up of the place

His room was fairly neat in general, but he was still a teenager and there were some areas that tended to become a bit cluttered, the laundry and desk area being the main eye grabbers. So he did a quick shapening up and put things back in their respective places. He had just made his bed that morning so it was nice and fresh. No sweaty sheets for his guest.

Some things got knocked off shelves when they fought on the roof, but it wasn't anything too terrible. Just some fallen books and papers scattered about.

Checking to see what shape his bathroom was in he nodded in satisfaction to see that it was still in decent shape.

Remembering that he told Raven he had some shower supplies she could use, he bent down and opened the cabinet under the sink. It took a few seconds to rummage through and find what he was looking for but found it in the back corner. He smiled in triumph and pulled out a bottle of lotion and shower gel, both oak milk and honey, something he had a feeling she would enjoy. It was a gift he got for Christmas one year but it just wasn't his favorite scent. He meant to return or exchange it for a different scent but forgot and just decided to save it just in case. Plus he lost the receipt, so he was glad to see it finally be in use instead of standing sadly in the far corner of the cabinet.

Setting shower supplies on the counter and pulling out an extra towel, as well as an unopened toothbrush, he did one last look around before he went in search of something she could wear for pajamas, just in case. Something the others also tended to buy him was pajamas. Admittedly, he was difficult to shop for, so he always had an abundance of pajamas on hand.

He pulled out a few different shirt and pant options for her to mix and match to her liking. He didn't really know what she liked to sleep in so there was no harm in giving her the choice right?

Robin neatly folded and placed them on the foot of his bed, looking around quickly to see if there was anything he missed.

Satisfied with his work, he started to pull some things together for himself for his stay on the couch. It wasn't much really, just a pillow and a blanket. He already showered earlier and changed into a less formal uniform to sleep in so he was done for the night.

Walking back to his desk he wrote a quick note saying that he pulled some things for her and that he would be out in the main room if she needed him with a line allowing her the night off on the bottom. He placed it on top of one of the pajama shirts and went out to the common room, making sure to leave the door unlocked for her.

"Hey." Cyborg greeted from the kitchen spotting Robin walk in. He raised an eyebrow once he saw his pillow and blanket. "So, what's all that for?"

"Raven's staying in my room tonight." Robin answered as he dropped his stuff down on the couch and walked over to the kitchen island where Cyborg was putting away the dishes from dinner

Cyborg blinked a few times, a bit surprised but not wanting to overreact with what little information he had. "And she's in there because?"

"She can't stay in her room. It's not safe."

Cyborg nodded in agreement. He only saw a glimpse of it earlier when they played stank ball and it wasn't looking too hot. He didn't want to make her think about it more at that moment so he made a point to not barge in and gape at it. "I don't want this to sound insulting or anything, but why your room?"

"It was the option she chose." Robin shrugged. "So I'll be out here for the night."

"What were her options?" Cyborg asked, moving the plates to their respective cabinets.

"It was either stay out here for the night, Terra's old room, or my room. I didn't offer mine originally but she didn't seem too thrilled with the other two ideas, so I just threw it out as another option."

"And you're good with being out here for the night?"

"I'm fine with it. She's my first priority right now."

Cyborg nodded, agreeing with their decision. "What are you going to do if it's more than one night?"

Robin sat down on one of the stools and was quiet as he thought. He hadn't thought about that. He was just thinking about tonight.

"Because from what I saw, it seems like it's going to take longer than a day to get it to the point where she can be in there safely." Cyborg thought out loud, putting away the silverware in the drawer. "Not to mention any calls we might get which might delay any work we can do on it."

"Those are some good points." Robin nodded along, chin in his hands and elbows rested on the counter. "She did allow me to have you look at it sometime."

Cyborg gave a small smirk. "I was gonna go and get my eye on it anyway. I might not have seen much earlier but I know it's not in good shape."

Robin gave a small grin back. Cyborg would go and thoroughly check her room regardless if he had permission or not. He essentially dubbed himself as Raven's older brother and if he was worried about something, it was easier to just stand back and let him do what he needed to do. "I gave her the night off but I don't know when she'll make an appearance next."

"Do you know where she is now?" Cyborg asked, putting the last plate away. Ever since the incident a few weeks ago with the hallucinogenic dust, he and Raven had gotten certain abilities. He didn't know exactly how or why, but one thing he knew was that they always knew where the other was.

"She's heading to my room."

Cyborg placed his hands on the counter across from Robin and leaned on it, thinking of what he was going to do. "I could do it now while she's not there. Or wait until tomorrow when there's a bit more light. But I have a feeling she would want it to be looked at as soon as possible huh?"

"Yeah," Robin drew out, "I think you're right."

"The sooner we survey the damage the sooner we can get it fixed and have her back in there. Otherwise you'll be out on the couch for more than just tonight." Cyborg teased.

Robin shook his head with a smile and stood up from his stool. "Well, let's go and see."

Raven opened Robin's door to find it unlocked just like he said. Walking in and closing the door behind her, she took a few seconds to just look around. She had indeed been in there a handful of times and was always a bit amazed at how neat his room was. Sure there were some messes and piles of things from time to time, but they all seemed to be organized in a way. She shook her head amused at the thought. He always had to have a system for everything didn't he?

Walking to the bed and placing her bag on the floor to the right of it, she saw some clothes on the foot of the bed and a piece of paper. Moving over to read the note she was touched that he took the time to pull aside some things for her. He said he would, she knew, but she didn't expect him to pick out a variety of items. It made her a bit uncomfortable with how much of his space she was taking for the night, but he said she was his priority, so he was going to make sure he could do everything to make her feel comfortable.

Taking a good bit on deciding which clothes she was going to sleep in, she decided on a light blue tank top and black shorts. Her pajamas had unfortunately been torn from the rubble on her bed. She probably should have chosen the warmer options because of the changing seasons, but she didn't want to feel sleeves on her arms or legs, feeling uncomfortable with anything touching her. And besides, she had her cloak if she got chilly.

Grabbing her brush and a pair of underwear, forgoing a bra because fuck that, she went to his bathroom to find that he yet again pulled some things aside for her.

She put her, well, his clothes down on the towel and opened the lid of the body wash, curious of its scent. To her surprise, it smelled like something that she would own. There was both a body wash and lotion. 'Probably a Christmas gift.' She mused, it not being something he would own in addition to it still being full.

She pulled back the shower curtain and turned on the water, letting it warm up while she undressed.

It was a bit of a struggle getting her leotard off. The cloak was easy, just had to unclasp it and off it went. But having to reach her arms back behind her to get the zipper was a bit of a production with the bruises on her torso. It hurt to move too much and reaching her arms behind her wasn't especially pleasant. It took a bit for her to catch and then pull down the zipper, taking more effort out of her than she would have liked to admit. She could have used her powers to faze out of it, but she was determined to do it without magic. To do it by herself.

Pulling the sleeves off her arms, she let the rest lay along her hips as she turned to look at the damage done to her. She had expected to see some bruising, but didn't expect it to be that much. Her torso was spotted with shades of blue, red, and purple from where Machior grabbed her while they fought. It looked like a kid painted on her with watercolors. She had struggled in his grip which ultimately made the bruising worse. It hurt like hell but she was glad that nothing broke.

As she pulled the rest of her clothes off, she took many sharp inhales as she had to bend over to take them off which made the bruises more apparent, sending sharp, stabbing waves of pain from her stomach and back to her arms and legs. She had to take a few seconds after she got them all off to hold onto the counter as she let the pain subside. She spotted some bruising on her hips but it didn't hurt as bad as her torso did.

Placing her clothes on the other side of the sink, away from the clean clothes, she grabbed her brush, the bodywash, and stepped over the tub into the shower.

It hurt initially when the hot water touched her skin, a lot, but she slowly eased herself more and more into the spray, gradually letting her body get used to it before she fully placed herself under it. She already hurt, she didn't want to add burns to the list of pain. But the hot water was something she needed. She felt an intense need to cleanse herself. As if the soap and water would just wash away his touch. Wash her feelings away.

It took a good minute to get herself used to the water before she slowly started to brush through her disheveled hair. It was getting fairly long, just past the shoulder blades, and it was a disaster. There were knots, bits of dirt and rubble from battle, and getting hit with a giant ball of dirty laundry did not help. She smirked in spite of herself as she remembered throwing that nasty ball of laundry right in Beast Boy's face. Cyborg had cheered her on and gave her a high five only to quickly be knocked over as Beast Boy aimed for her but missed. She didn't know if she was ever going to play it again, most likely not, but she was thankful for the distraction.

"Woah." Cyborg breathed out as he took in the shape of Raven's room. It didn't seem too terribly bad when he first walked in, it being dark and all, but once he turned on the overhead light, a shock to them both that it worked since it was never used, all he could do was freeze and stare.

"Yeah." Robin said beside him, also taking the time to look around since he tried to respect Raven's room when he talked to her earlier. "Where do we even start?"

"Well," Cyborg started, moving from his spot by the door, taking more and more in, catching himself as he almost tripped over a hole in the floor. "The walls, ceiling, floor, and windows are my main concern." He walked around the room towards her bed and ran his hand along the frame that she was so determined to put together herself when they first moved in. "Everything so far seems like it can be repaired or replaced, but it's going to take a while."

"How long is a while?"

Cyborg sighed as he thought for a few seconds. "At least a few days, if not longer. There's no telling how long it could take, or even how long it could take to even get the materials."

Robin nodded slowly, not liking that answer but realistically knowing that it wouldn't be magically fixed in a day or two with the snap of a finger. "What are we going to do about Raven?"

Cyborg walked towards her window and shook his head. "I don't know man. This is worse than I had expected it to be. We'll have to get everything out and then repair what we can and just take it from there. I don't want the floor to cave in anymore and I will only feel comfortable for her to be back here when the room itself is fixed. I don't want her in here with holes in the walls and the ceiling and floor falling apart."

"She's not going to be too happy about that."

"She can be mad at me all she wants," Cyborg chuckled, "she's not staying in here until I deem it safe for her to."

Robin nodded in agreement. He felt the same way too but was more worried about how well she would take the news. She already lost so much in a day, he didn't want her to be even more upset. "Where will she stay for that time?"

"Either you go and stay with her or you're going to be out on the couch for a while. If she didn't want to consider Terra's room for tonight, I doubt she'll stay in there for the time being. And we're not going to kick you out of your room."

"Wait, Robin's on the couch tonight?"

They turned to see Beast Boy standing in the doorway, arms full of blankets and Starfire holding her hands beside him.

"Where is Raven?" Starfire asked, knowing no one was allowed to enter and not seeing her friend.

"Raven is in my room." Robin sighed, not really wanting to go over it again.

"Dude, what?!"

"How come?"

"Because it's not safe for her to stay in here." Cyborg answered. "Out of the options presented to her, she chose Robin's room."

"So then, where is Robin going to stay?" Beast Boy asked hesitantly.

"I'll be in the main room tonight."

"But what about after tonight?" Starfire asked. "Surely it will take more than a day for her room to be fixed."

"We're still getting to that." Robin said, noticing the blue and purple blankets Beast Boy was holding. "Those aren't yours are they?"

"Hmm? Oh, these are Ravens. I was putting my stuff in the dryer and these were in there. I was going to give them to her but she's not here. Should I bring them to her?"

"I can take them to her." Cyborg said. "I was going to bring her the rest of her dinner anyway."

Beast Boy nodded and handed the blankets over to Cyborg who walked out to gather Raven's leftovers. He knew that she wouldn't come out tonight, so he wanted to make sure she at least had something to eat if she wanted it.

It was quiet when Cyborg left, Beast Boy and Starfire taking the destruction in with a silent awe. How could so much be destroyed in such little time? Raven's room always seemed indestructible, untouchable. And yet, here it was.

"What are you going to do with your room if she stays for more than tonight?" Beast Boy asked Robin, breaking the silence.

Robin sighed and shook his head. "I guess I'll figure that out tomorrow. I can't even think right now."

"Oh!" Starfire exclaimed, offering a suggestion. "We can have the sleeping over in my room one night! Do you think she will let me braid her hair?"

"Pft," Beast Boy blew out, "I'm thinking about Raven with braids."

"I think she would look beautiful." Starfire defended. "She has such pretty hair, it's a shame that she won't style it differently sometime."

"Raven, styling?" Beast Boy giggled. "Come on, this is Raven we're talking about."

Robin just sighed and rolled his eyes. Yep, leave it to Beast Boy to be that one annoying younger sibling who's teasing the older one. Poking the bear if you will at times. Ok, many times. But he would have to admit, she would look adorable with braids. He had seen her hair up a few times, nothing special, just a bun or ponytail during some training sessions and late night conversations. She did look pretty cute with those, especially when it's a bit disheveled after laying on it and the loose strands frame her face-shit, he was getting distracted. He suddenly froze, back straight as a board. The bond. Was he projecting too loudly? Had he accidentally let Raven hear those thoughts? He blushed a bit before he was pulled back into the two bickering over the said teammate.

"So who's right? Me or Star?"

Robin blinked a few times, trying to recall any of their conversation after his thoughts trailed off but pulling up blank. "Um, can we not do this right now? It's late and it was a hard day today. Why don't we just call it a night?" Expertly avoided.

"Yeah, alright." Beast Boy mumbled. "I am pretty tired. Melchior really messed with my late afternoon nap. I might have to sleep until lunch tomorrow to make up for it."

Starfire lightly scolded Beast Boy for bringing up Malchior's name but he just shrugged it off. "What? It's not like she's here. And the name's going to come up at some point."

"Just go to bed." Robin sighed tiredly. "We'll discuss this tomorrow."

The two gave him good night wishes as they walked out of the room, leaving Robin alone.
