The sun was rising by the time they had settled down to sleep. Exhausted wasn't the word Mika would use, hell, it didn't even come close. Of course they had been intimate together multiple times before, but, this was drastically different. She felt love in their touch and kiss. It was the most calming feeling she had ever felt, the most natural.

They currently laid tangled under the blankets. Mika was buried in his chest, sleeping peacefully. Hawks was wrapped around her, holding her close. They had been asleep for a couple of hours before his golden eyes opened. They instantly settled on the woman in his arms. He didn't want to get up, but the text he had gotten from Tokoyami yesterday meant they had work to do. He made a move to get up, but smiled when Mika held him in place, "Mika."

Her grip tightened, "No."

He leaned down over her and kissed her cheek, "I need to. Tokoyami can't do all the work."

"I hate it when you're right," her grey eyes fluttered open.

"It doesn't happen often, so you can't hate it that much," he snuggled into her neck.

She chuckled, "True. Your ego would crush us all."

"Rude," he kissed her lips, "Get some sleep."

"Behave," she tiredly warned, "I better not get a call to come get you in line."

"Well now I have to misbehave," he teased as he got up.

"So, while we did take care of the commission and their associates, it seems we missed someone," Bakugo leaned on Hawks desk, his arms crossed in front of him. "They're holding the biggest title in their wannabe league. I figure if we take them out, this crap will stop."

Hawks looked at the description the metal villain had given in his interrogation, "They're getting smarter."

Aizawa sipped his coffee, "It seems so. But, they're also intimidated by her."

"When you think about it," the winged hero began, "They should be. If she gets a handle on her quirk, she'll be extremely difficult to top."

"She's still too doubtful right now," red eyes looked at the ground in thought, "It explains why they've been so active."

Deku tapped his chin, "Are they trying to take her out...or trying to make her embrace it?"

"What do you mean," Aizawa looked at his former student, "The last one was intent on breaking her neck."

"He was a hot head," green eyes looked around the room, "I'm beginning to think Lena's right hand man...might have really been a big player."

Hawks gold eyes snapped to him, "Elaborate."

"He was useful, sure, but when I get reports from the facility he's in, he seems to be running things as far as the other inmates are concerned."

"Then let's pay him a visit," Bakugo pulled out his phone.

"I think she should do it," Hawks sat back.

Red eyes snapped to him, "Why?"

"He doesn't respond to us," he sighed, "as much as I hate it...he might talk to her."

Aizawa pushed off of the wall, "That might work."

"If she agrees," Bakugo walked to the door, "Let me know what she says."

"He seems distracted," the dark haired hero yawned.

"Hallie is getting close to her due date," Deku stretched, "From what I gather, she's been in a lot of pain. Kirishima is coming home next week also. It's just a lot on his plate."

"As always," Hawks scoffed, "refusing to ask for help."

"That's what I'm for," the All Might successor walked to the door, "so instead, let me know what she says," he smirked.

"Ooh, breaking the sheriff's law," he chuckled. Aizawa smirked. It amused him when Izuku was bold...it was sneaky and calculated. The number two hero smirked and walked out of the door, leaving the other two. "I think she'll agree...will you go with her?"

"You don't want to?"

Hawks sighed, "It's not that. I don't want her to be worrying about my temper when she should be focused on getting information."

"That might be the most adult move I've seen you make...ever."

"Don't tell. I prefer for them to think I'm immature. It makes things easy," he grinned.

Mika sat thinking quietly. Hawks had filled her in of course, and ran his idea by her. He asked her to think on it, and if she didn't want to do it, there would be no issues.

She was torn. More than anything, she wanted all of this done. For five months, they had been battling with this. Mika was tired of stressing out over it. She wanted to enjoy hero work, and her friends. Not to mention Hallie was extremely close to having her baby. She wanted to be able to help out when Bakugo took leave.

But, seeing him again would be difficult. She still had nightmares and PTSD episodes. Part of her was worried that while she has made progress, seeing him again would re-stir the pot. It might throw her off of her mental game, which in the field could get someone killed.

"Mika," her eyes moved to Hawks, "if you don't want to do this, you don't have to."

"I know..." she sighed, "I'm just weighting my options and outcomes."

"There's no rush," he leaned over the couch and kissed her head.

Mika's phone buzzed, making her brows furrow as she answered, "Hey...I'll be right there." She hung up the phone and quickly stood, "Hallie is at the hospital."

Hawks grabbed his coat, "Go time?"

Mika grinned, "I think so." She pulled on her jacket, "We gotta get Tobi so he isn't sitting at the hospital all night."

"It's really not a problem," Mika ruffled the small boys hair, "We'll have a good time."

Bakugo let out a breath of relief, "Thanks. They're on the train back, but mom said it'd be morning before they could get him." He knelt down in front of his son, "Behave, okay?"

He nodded, "Take care of momma."

"I will," he smirked and stood, "I'll call you."

Mika took Tobi's hand, "Lets go."

They walked to the rooftop of the hospital. Tobi held his bag over his shoulder, "Where are we going?"

"Hawks is giving you a lift."

Tobi grinned, "We're gonna fly?"

"Hell yeah we are," Hawks landed with a smirk, "just don't tell your dad. He might kill me."
