Mika sat up and yawned. Hawks had left her at dawn, mumbling about patrol. She chuckled picturing him sleepily flying through the air. Her mind wandered back to their conversation last night. She had never pictured children in her future. Hell, she had never pictured falling in love, let alone with a giant chicken. She enjoyed how innocent they were. How magical the world was. But, she never thought of motherhood. Not after her childhood. Be the perfect child. A picture perfect daughter: manners, grades, looks...she was bred to be a tool, and gods was she used like one.

Mina chuckled, "Kiri, I'm allowed to do things, you know...laundry isn't a big deal."

"Mina," he huffed and picked up the basket, "Just lemme be manly and have this."

He had been back home for a few days. Bakugo had of course come to check on them when he wasn't with Hallie or dropping by the agency. It was safe to say Kirishima was over being bedridden, constantly hounding his wife.

She sighed with a smile, knowing he needed this, "Alright, but don't overdue it."

He flashed his signature grin, "Wouldn't dream of it."

Her mind wandered to last night, when he curled up to her growing bump and spoke so sweetly, grinning when he felt small movements. The love in his features for someone who wasn't even here yet. He was going to be such an incredible father.

"You're overdoing it," Mika sighed, looking at an exhausted Bakugo.

"It doesn't matter."

"It does matter and you know it," she put her hands on her hips.

"She's in sport mode," Denki grinned and sat back, watching the show. Deku chuckled.

He made a move to speak but she cut him off, "Go be a dad...that kind of hero is way more important than this crap..." her glare met his stubbornly, "Fine, I'll just call-"

"I blow your ass up," he crossed his arms.

"She'd be really upset if she knew how thin you were stretching yourself," she sighed, "If I hadn't had your back-"

"I'm aware," he snapped.

Mika leaned on the desk, "Its okay to be selfish sometimes, Katsuki Bakugo." His red eyes looked down at his desk, making her smirk, "You've done nothing but give, and give...go be selfish for a change and let us do our thing."

His red eyes snapped to Deku, "If one thing-"

The green haired man waved his arms, "I-It won't, I promise." He smiled, "Go. It'll still be standing."

"So should I call and confirm the alcohol delivery or-" Denki grinned and chuckled at Bakugo's glare, "Come on, relax. It'll be fine."

The blonde rubbed his temples and stood, "Mika, make sure these idiots do what they're supposed to."

"Sure thing," she chuckled as he exited his office.

"He needed to hear that," Deku smiled after him, "Thanks Mika."

"He feels the need to protect not just the city," her eyes landed on the other two men, "but us too. Let's not disappoint him."

"Ugh what a woman," the electric hero winked.

Mika grabbed him by the ear, dragging in into the hallway, "You have patrol, let's go."

Deku laughed and snapped a photo, sending it to Kaachan 'She's already on it.'

As soon as she closed the door, he was on her. Mika chuckled and kissed him, "What, did you miss me?"

"I was bored all day," he whined, "I went on a fly and everything."

"I convinced Bakugo to take leave."

Hawks blinked, "Did you put a gun to his head?"

"Nah, Midoriya said I quote 'pulled a Hallie'," she chuckled.

"Ah, so you used reasoning," he buried his face into her neck, "Good. He was getting super grumpy and hard to work with."

She wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes, "I know. He's under a lot of pressure right now. Are we going tomorrow?"

He sighed against her skin, "Yeah. I still think this is a bad idea."

Mika slowly ran her hands into his hair, "How can I convince you it's a good idea?"

"I might know a few ways," he casually shrugged, "possibly."

That look crossed her eyes, the one that set him off in an instant. She gave him a deep kiss, "Why don't you tell me?"

Tobi carefully held the small bundle as he watched his show. Once in a while, he would make a comment to her, telling her about the characters and plot. Hallie and Bakugo were curled up on the couch, his face was buried in her red curls as he slept. Hallie lightly stroked his arms, making small circles.

If you had told her a year ago, this is where she would be, she would have called you crazy. But it felt so incredibly right. So instinctively natural. He was her soulmate, giving her strength. If it weren't for him, she would probably be in such a dark place. Tobi was perfect in so many ways, but Katsuki touched her soul in ways no one else ever would.

Tobi's blue eyes settled on his sister as she squirmed slightly. He smiled and spoke softly, "Are you getting hungry?" He turned and looked at his mother, "Momma," he yell whispered, "Sunni said she's hungry."

Hallie chuckled and held out her arms, "Bring her here and fix me a bottle."

It was uncanny how he was able to read her so well. Hallie understood her cries, but Tobi, he spoke for her. Katsuki was getting the hang of it. "What's wrong," he tiredly rubbed his eyes, looking down at the squirming bundle and smirking.

"Tobi says she's hungry," Hallie smirked, "I asked him to fix a bottle."

"I'll go see if he needs help," the blonde stood and wandered into the kitchen, chuckling when he caught his son climbing the cabinet, "Do you need something?"

Tobi froze, "Yeah. She likes the yellow one..."

He walked over and reached up, "Here," he handed it to him, "You remember how to do it?"

"Yes," he set to work, "I won't make it too hot."

Bakugo plopped back down beside Hallie and looked down, meeting little red eyes. Gods she was cute. Especially when she was fussy. It reminded him of Hallie when she huffed and puffed.

"Don't worry sissy," Tobi rushed back in, "I'm here to save you." He crawled up beside his mother and looked at her expectantly.

"Oh right," she carefully placed her in his lap, "Remember to hold it at an angle."

He nodded, "Not upright." He smiled, "That's better."

Hallie cut her eyes to the window quietly, Bakugo leaned into her hair, "I know. I'm keeping an eye on it."
